Carson Logo Design

Every new Carson venture knows they need a logo, yet few new business owners entirely comprehend the key role their company logo will play in their becoming successful, or precisely why one logo works more effectively than another. A logo has a critical and long term impact on the prosperity of a company, go with the correct one and it can make the door swing and phone ring, choose the incorrect one and it will be an obstacle and an impediment for the life of a company. The logos included in the ImageCo portfolio help Carson businesses prosper, they are effective in any given scenario and the reason they are so effective is because they all have these 5 traits in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logos do not require contemplation, they can be understood in just a glimpse.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to posters a scalable logo design will stay legible and equally emotive at every scale.
  3. Versatility: logos that work on any sort of device, in print, on product packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball-cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are unique, and they are suitable for the organization they stand for.
  5. Relevance: a logo design must be timeless and should feel relevant today, tomorrow, and twenty years from now.

Retro logo design of a bicycle developed for a Carson coffee cafe and a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This fledgling coffee roaster and bistro were actually launching in an old section of the community and hoped to cast a vintage vibe without appearing as monotonous or low energy. I achieved both of these jobs by designing a business logo design that contains a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is antiquated, higher energy, and is a classic business image.

clinical logo design with a microscopic lense slide as well as germs developed for Carson medical facility.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the scientific discipline that studies the causes and consequences of diseases, especially the branch of healthcare that works with the laboratory examination of samplings of human body tissue for diagnostic or forensic purposes.

The Mid-Valley Pathology brand I came up with is really the sole instance I recall where I was in a position to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide within a business logo design.

Normally I try not to be excessively literal with a design and to a degree, this design approaches the company it serves fairly literally, however it does it in a way that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an illustration of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the name that helps make it more interesting, more focus grabbing and more memorable.

logo layout with a jumping environment-friendly frog made for a household enjoyable center in Carson.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a very cool project to work on, probably because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the usual of the sorts of jobs which come my way, I’ve produced dozens of logo designs for surgeons, dental experts, and legal professionals but Cool Springz is without question the one and only trampoline park which I have actually ever had the opportunity to work on.

Given that the name of the business has the word springz in its name the clear choice would have been to incorporate a couple springs into the concept but Cool Springz is a fun place to go and spring doesn’t really resonate an atmosphere of fun does it. My thought process on this logo design project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, ultimately I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to provide the logo a much more dynamic high energy impression.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my design and named the frog Jax and integrated him in to everything they utilized for advertising. I also believe this is the only time that a logo I came up with was transformed into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fabricated to look just like my frog design.

photography logo design featuring a flock of birds, a mountain, a route, a stream, and also a tree - designed for Carson traveling photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo design project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a fairly niche field of photography and I think it is a niche area because travel photographers don’t shoot locations or things but rather project emotional journeys by means of the images they record. The idea behind this logo composition was to utilize negative space to project more than what was visible upon initial glance, which I think is representative of most professional photographers in that they frequently convey entire stories through their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey a great deal more than that because their photos often have an emotional resonance which can’t be conveyed with just words. I attempted to do something comparable to this logo design by employing the positive space in the design to say one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in looking back, that my objective was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Carson logo design but also to reveal the depth of her art and in the way that she sees the world through the lens of her camera.

Carson logo style with a seagull utilized for the letter A. Designed for a cordless retail service.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The bulk of logo design jobs that I take on I really take pleasure in and the Coastal Wireless project was one that I really felt good about, but the customer didn’t quite share my excitement for it. I felt really good about the concept of using the seagull silhouette as a stroke in the letter A but the client, while he liked the concept, really did not care for my choice of birds. This man genuinely loathed seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, thankfully the rest of his friends and family didn’t share his contempt for this particular variety of sea bird.

When I turn a concept over to a customer I urge all of them to share it with friends and family as well as with folks that they don’t actually know so as to get honest point of views on the benefit of a design. Fortunately, he shared it with his whole family and they really loved the design and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to include every other seabird he could think of … eventually I was able to talk him out of his choice of a pelican and he proceeded with the original concept.

Business logos are a strange animal in the design world because the people that are inclined to hire an expert to design their business logo understand how crucial a logo design is for their business so they are way more vested in the final result. Every logo design job has it’s portion of challenges, however the biggest challenge is identifying that sweet spot in a design that operates really well at the job it’s needed to do in branding a business and also providing the customer the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo style with bamboo in the background, style for Carson book publisher

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a cramped segment of real estate to work with, yet it is the most important part of a printed book because it is ordinarily the very first thing a person views in the book store. Concerning a publisher, it’s the most ideal opportunity they will ever get to spotlight their brand and get their logo design in front of the men and women that purchase actual books.

This three color design is vivid, colorful and eye-catching and it leaves plenty of territory for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design designed for an airline company in Los Angeles, the logo has 2 letter A's with benches customized to imply they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and go nevertheless it seems like that in many cases 1 of the aspects people usually tend to recollect the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a modest fledgling commuter/shuttle airline based in LA and while I’m not sure it really “took off” their logo design didn’t ground them. The bookend A’s in their title lent itself well to affording a spirit of airline flight and it was definitely a success.

Carson logo design utilized for marketing and a label design for Vintage Case includes an archaic typeface design.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in all new cases for musical instruments, that appeared to be vintage cases. For this custom logo concept I attempted to come up with a logo that had a fluid retro feel to it and could be utilized for every thing from a web page to an insignia on brand new cases that appeared like they were from a different point in time.

Logo created for an orthodontist in Carson, design consist of an arc with lines converging through it to suggest steel dental braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental care business logos can be one of the most challenging and difficult logo projects considering that it seems that almost every dentist incorporates a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental business logos are one of the most cliche ridden professions when it comes to company marketing, if restaurants approached their branding in the exact same way dental practitioners do every one of their logos would definitely be a picture explaining something they served, McDonalds would probably have a picture of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind including an illustration of something mouth related to a dentist’s logo design nevertheless it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental industry.

I really enjoy doing dental care logo designs simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a particular field of the field of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd approach that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics delivered such an opportunity and ultimately I created a concept that does not have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t overt, they are still implied in the design. When I turned this concept over to the customer the only smile that was evident was the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo design designed for a household nonprofit, the logo includes 4 characters staggered in height to stand for a family with in the style.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation asked ImageCo to help them come up with a brand identity design that would be depictive of the love that William McNally had for the folks in his city. Most logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain depictions of a happy family, a cliche heavy technique to any logo design is to be very literal with regards to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best concepts are the ones that are downplayed and never hit the viewer on the head with what the business or organization wishes to relate.

The McNally Foundation’s name offered a distinct opportunity to do a logo which communicated that they were about families without being openly tacky about it. The aim of a logo is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer makes an effort to use the logo design to describe exactly how people should think or feel they don’t understand the purpose of a logo. If viewers have to think about a logo design to understand what it means, it has fallen short, a logo needs to be immediately comprehended and a logo that illustrates itself will never have the opportunity to be understood.

Logo design created for a hair design studio including a manuscript font a hummingbird and also an implied orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios desired a business logo that related a feeling of tranquility and connection for their new hair salon. I came up with a design that didn’t go the obvious direction of creating merely a stylized orchid but alternatively crafted a company logo that implied a flower in the pattern of a swirl incorporated into the letter O in the title and by placing attention on the logo design with the silhouette of a hummingbird floating above the logo design itself. The obvious path in designing a company logo is generally the wrong route and in this case, the design ended up not being about the flower but instead placed the focus on the feeling that they wanted to forecast to their patrons.

Arabian steed logo design developed for a steed ranch that focuses on breeding Arabian program horses.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

ImageCo created a distinct company logo concept fashioned to illustrate the unique physical traits of the Arabian type of horses. With a distinctive head shape and high tail carriage, the Arabian is one of the very most quite easily identifiable equine breeds in the whole world.

Las Coffee shop logo layout a tiny dining establishment, layout includes a changed manuscript font which hovers over a group of elaborate lines and also dots.

Logo style for a software application designer the layout attributes as well as famous component of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the key part of an operating system (OS). Traditionally, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task management, and hard drive management. The kernel attaches the computer hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that acts as a connection in between the software program and computer hardware.

The logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is located a few miles from the offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to describe anything to anyone regarding to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However, it intimated something to the business owner of the company and in many cases the meaning supporting a logo is just as important as how it serves the business it represents.

A logo layout featuring an angler in the middle of the name casting a fly towards the audience.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brands like Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year offering supplies and equipment to outdoor sporting fans the owners of On the Fly understood the market was primed for an outdoor sporting retailer that functions as a consignment firm. Whether you are into boating, sportfishing or mountain climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a place for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all types of passions, a place to sell off their previously owned goods to other sports enthusiasts. I tailored their Carson logo design dsign utilizing an illustration that seizes the interest of vehicles and projects an image that calls to mind the passion of the outdoors. With traffic that averages 45 miles per hour I knew it would take more than the average logo/sign to get commuters to take notice, hence the illustration of a fly fisherman in his natural and calm habitat.
Logo style MQ farms, this logo design has a field included into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms custom logo idea wasn’t actually designed for an Carson regional farm it was in reality designed for an investments broker, and this trademark was one of a handful of which fell under the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The objective was actually to develop a graphic that projected confidence, success, and wealth.
Logo design created for the use of an indicator for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is an ornate script font that is evocative a renowned sporting activities group logo design.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I have designed dozens of restaurant logo designs and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the USA, from cupcake pastry shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I believe Brewgrrs was my favorite. Brewgrrs was a great project where I worked closely with the owner to develop a logo design which worked extremely well and did a fantastic job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the illuminated signage that hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very legible from over a block away.
