West Palm Beach Logo Design

Each and every new West Palm Beach organization knows they need a logo, however few new business owners thoroughly grasp the essential role their organization logo will perform in their becoming successful, or the reason that one logo works far better than another. A business logo has a critical and long term impact on the financial success of a company, pick the correct one and it can make the door swing and phone ring, go with the incorrect one and it will be an obstacle and an impediment for the life of a business. The logos included in the ImageCo portfolio help West Palm Beach businesses succeed, they are effective in any given situation and the reason they are so effective is because they all have these 5 things in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logo designs don’t require contemplation, they can be grasped in just a glance.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to posters a scalable logo design will continue to be legible and equally emotive at every scale.
  3. Versatility: logos that operate on any device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are unique, and they are suitable for the organization they stand for.
  5. Relevance: a company logo needs to be enduring and should feel relevant today, tomorrow, and thirty years from today.

Retro logo style of a bicycle produced for a West Palm Beach coffee cafe as well as a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This fledgling coffee roaster and coffeehouse were launching in an old section of the area and wished to visualize a vintage atmosphere without coming across as stodgy or low energy. I accomplished the two tasks via developing a business logo concept that includes a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, higher energy, and is a ageless business image.

medical logo design with a microscopic lense slide and bacteria made for West Palm Beach medical clinic.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the scientific discipline that investigates the root causes and outcomes of diseases, mainly the branch of healthcare which deals with the clinical evaluation of samples of body tissue for diagnostic or forensic reasons.

The Mid-Valley Pathology brand I came up with is the sole instance I recall where I was able to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide within a logo design.

Usually I attempt not to be excessively literal with a concept and to a point, this design approaches the company it represents very literally, however it does it in a fashion that incorporates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as a description of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the brand that makes it more appealing, more attention grabbing and a lot more meaningful.

logo design with a leaping environment-friendly frog made for a family fun center in West Palm Beach.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a very fun project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s additionally a project that is way out of the norm of the kinds of jobs which come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for surgeons, dentists, and attorneys but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park that I have ever gotten the opportunity to work on.

Given that the name of the company has the word springz in its name the clear choice would have been to include a couple springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun location to go and spring does not really reflect an atmosphere of fun does it. My thought process on this logo design project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, ultimately I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to provide the logo a more enthusiastic high energy feeling.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my concept and named the frog Jax and incorporated him in to everything they utilized for promotion and marketing. I also believe this is the only time that a logo I designed was made into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fashioned to look exactly like my frog design.

digital photography logo including a flock of birds, a hill, a trail, a stream, as well as a tree - created for West Palm Beach traveling professional photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a custom logo design job I took on for a travel photographer, which is a pretty specialized field of photography and I think it is a niche sector due to the fact that travel photographers don’t shoot places or things but rather communicate emotional journeys by means of the pictures they record. The thought behind this logo design was to use negative space to project more than what was visible upon first glance, which I think is quintessential of almost all good photographers in that they often convey whole stories through their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words but I think that some photographs convey much more than that because their photos often have an emotional fullness that can’t be communicated with mere words. I tried to do something the same to this logo by using the positive space in the design to say one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was communicated through the first impression. I think, in looking back, that my objective was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  West Palm Beach logo but also to reveal the depth to her work and in the way that she sees the world through the lens of her camera.

West Palm Beach logo design with a seagull made use of for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail company.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The lion’s share of logo design projects that I take on I genuinely take pleasure in and the Coastal Wireless design was one that I really felt good about, but the customer didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the concept of using the seagull shape as a stroke in the letter A however the customer, even though he loved the concept, really did not care for my choice of birds. This man truly disliked seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, fortunately the rest of his family didn’t share his scorn for this specific type of sea bird.

When I turn a concept over to a customer I encourage them to talk about it with friends and colleagues and family members as well as with folks that they don’t actually know so as to get neutral opinions on the worthiness of a design. Fortunately, he shared it with his whole family and they really loved the design and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to include every other seabird he could think of … eventually I was able to talk him out of his alternative of a pelican and he proceeded with the original concept.

Custom logo designs are a strange animal in the design world because the people that tend to hire an expert to design their business logo understand how vital a logo design is for their company so they are much more invested in the final result. Every logo project possesses it’s share of hurdles, but the biggest challenge is finding that sweet spot in a design that works really well at the task it’s needed to do in branding a business and also giving the client the image they see for themselves.

a red panda logo style with bamboo behind-the-scenes, layout for West Palm Beach publication publisher

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a narrow parcel of real estate to work with, yet it is the most crucial part of a printed book because it is ordinarily the initial thing a person views in the book shop. With regard to a publisher, it’s the opportunity they will likely ever get to promote their label and get their logo design in front of the individuals that buy actual books.

This three color design is vibrant, colorful and eye-catching and it gives plenty of room for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design developed for an airline company in Los Angeles, the logo design has two letter A's with the bars modified to imply they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and depart but it seems like that in many occurrences one of the things people often tend to recollect the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a modest new venture commuter/shuttle air service situated in LA and although I’m not certain it actually “took off” their organization logo didn’t ground them. The bookend A’s in their title lent itself well to affording a spirit of flight and it was certainly a winner.

West Palm Beach logo style utilized for marketing and also a tag style for Vintage Situation features an archaic font style layout.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in brand new cases for music instruments, which seemed to be vintage cases. For this custom logo design I tried to come up with a logo that had a fluid nostalgic feel to it and could be used for anything from a website to an insignia on brand new cases that seemed like they were from a different era.

Logo design developed for an orthodontist in West Palm Beach, design include an arc with lines intersecting via it to suggest metal braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dentistry logos can be one of the most challenging and difficult logo design projects considering that it seems that almost every dentist incorporates a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental logo designs are one of the very most cliche ridden careers when it comes to small business advertising, if dining establishments approached their branding in the exact same way dentists do every one of their company logos would definitely be a picture trying to explain something they served, McDonalds would likely include an image of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind including a likeness of something mouth associated to a dentist’s company logo nevertheless it has to be done subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental industry.

I really enjoy doing dentistry logo designs because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies the field of dentistry or a certain area of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the stereotypical approach that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics provided such an opportunity and eventually I created a design that doesn’t have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t overt, they are still implied in the design. When I turned this design over to the customer the only smile that was evident was the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo design created for a family nonprofit, the logo design includes 4 personalities staggered in elevation to represent a family with in the layout.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation contacted ImageCo to help them come up with a logo design that would be representative of the devotion that William McNally had for the people residing in his community. Most logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain images of a happy family, a cliche heavy technique to any logo design is to be far too literal about what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve found that the best concepts are the ones that are downplayed and never hit the viewer on the head with what the business or institution wishes to communicate.

The McNally Foundation’s name provided a unique opportunity to do a logo which conveyed that they were about families without being openly cheesy about it. The goal of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer makes an effort to use the logo design to illustrate how individuals ought to think or feel they don’t understand the mission of a logo. If people have to think about a logo to understand what it means, it has failed, a logo needs to be instantly comprehended and a logo design that describes itself won’t have the opportunity to be comprehended.

Logo layout created for a hair style workshop featuring a manuscript font a hummingbird and an indicated orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios required a business logo which related a sense of relaxation and connection for their new hair salon. I came up with a concept which did not go the obvious course of making just a stylized orchid but alternatively created a company logo that suggested a flower in the formation of a swirl featured in to the letter O in the name and by putting emphasis on the logo design along with the silhouette of a hummingbird floating over the image itself. The obvious path in creating a company logo is more often than not the wrong path and in this case, the design ended up not being about the flower but instead laid the attention on the emotion that they really wanted to transmit to their patrons.

Logo layout for a software developer the design attributes and also legendary component of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the principal component of an operating system (OS). Typically, the kernel is responsible for memory management, process and task control, and drive operations. The kernel links the computer hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that serves as a bridge between the software program and computer hardware.

The logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is located a few miles from the offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to describe anything to anyone pertaining to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. Nevertheless it symbolized something to the business owner of the company and in many cases the meaning behind a business logo is equally as important as how it brands the enterprise it stands for.

A logo design including an angler in the middle of the name casting a fly towards the audience.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brands like Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in over 7 billion a year retailing goods and equipment to outdoor sporting fans the owners of On the Fly knew the market place was ready for an outdoor sporting store that operates as a consignment company. Whether or not you are into boating, fishing or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly presents a destination for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all sorts of interests, a spot to market their used items to other sports enthusiasts. I tailored their West Palm Beach business logo dsign with a graphic that garners the attention of vehicles and projects an image that calls to mind the passion of the outdoors. With traffic that averages forty five miles per hour I realized it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get commuters to take notice, hence the illustration of a fly fisherman in his natural and relaxed habitat.
Logo layout MQ farms, this logo design has an area integrated into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms company logo concept wasn’t really created for an West Palm Beach regional farm it was actually designed for an investments broker, and this trademark was one of several which fell underneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The objective was actually to produce a graphic that projects self-confidence, financial success, and wealth.
Logo design made for using an indication for the restaurant (Brewgrrs), it is a luxuriant manuscript font that is reminiscent of a famous sporting activities team logo.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I have designed quite a lot of restaurant logo designs and business signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the USA, from cupcake pastry shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I believe Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a cool project in which I worked closely with the owner to create a business logo which worked really well and did a fantastic job to brand them, it functioned on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the neon signage which hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
