Schaumburg Logo Design

Each and every new Schaumburg organization realizes that they need a logo, but few new business owners fully recognize the crucial role their organization logo can play in their success, or the reason that one logo design performs better than another. A business logo has an instant and lasting impact on the success of a business, go with the right one and it can make the door swing and phone ring, select the incorrect one and it can be a barrier and a hindrance for the life span of a business. The logos featured in the ImageCo portfolio help Schaumburg businesses succeed, they are effective in any given circumstance and the reason why they are so effective is because they all have these 5 features in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logo designs do not demand contemplation, they can be comprehended in just a look.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to billboards a scalable logo will remain legible and just as emotive at virtually any dimension.
  3. Versatility: logos that work on any type of device, in print, on product packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are personal, and they are suitable for the enterprise they represent.
  5. Relevance: a business logo must be enduring and will feel relevant today, tomorrow, and twenty years from now.

Retro logo design of a bike developed for a Schaumburg coffee cafe and a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This budding coffee roaster and cafe were actually opening up in an older part of the community and wished to cast a nostalgic tone without appearing as uninteresting or low energy. I accomplished each of the tasks by developing a trademark design that features a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, high energy, and is a ageless business image.

clinical logo style with a microscopic lense slide as well as bacteria created for Schaumburg medical facility.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the scientific discipline which studies the causes and effects of diseases, especially the branch of medicine which works with the laboratory examination of samplings of body tissue for diagnostic or forensic purposes.

The Mid-Valley Pathology logo I came up with is the only instance I recollect in which I was able to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide into a business logo design.

Usually I attempt not to be extremely literal with a concept and to a point, this design approaches the company it serves rather literally, but it does it in a way that incorporates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an explanation of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the brand that makes it more appealing, more interest grabbing and more memorable.

logo design with a jumping green frog created for a household enjoyable facility in Schaumburg.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really fun project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s additionally a project that is way out of the norm of the kinds of jobs that come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for health care providers, dentists, and attorneys but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park that I have actually ever had the privilege to work on.

Given that the name of the business has the word springz in its name the obvious choice would have been to include a handful of springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun place to go and spring doesn’t actually reflect an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this logo project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, ultimately I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to provide the logo a more lively high energy impression.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my design and named the frog Jax and integrated him in to everything they utilized for promotion and marketing. I also believe this is the only time that a logo I created was made into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fabricated to look just like my frog design.

photography logo featuring a flock of birds, a hill, a trail, a stream, as well as a tree - created for Schaumburg travel digital photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo design project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a pretty specialized field of photography and I believe it is a niche area because travel photographers don’t shoot locations or things but rather project emotional experiences through the photos they record. The idea behind this logo design was to use negative space to communicate more than what was visible upon first view, which I think is representative of the majority of professional photographers in that they often tell whole stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words but I think that some photographs convey considerably more than that because their photos often have an emotional resonance that can’t be revealed with just words. I attempted to do something the same to this logo by utilizing the positive space in the design to voice one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was communicated through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Schaumburg logo but also to illustrate the depth in her work and in the way that she perceives the world through the lens of her camera.

Schaumburg logo layout with a seagull utilized for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail business.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The lion’s share of custom logo design jobs that I take on I really relish and the Coastal Wireless assignment was one that I really felt good about, but the customer didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull shape as a stroke in the letter A but the client, while he liked the concept, really did not care for my choice of birds. This particular guy genuinely hated seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, fortunately the rest of his family members did not share his aversion for this specific variety of sea bird.

When I turn a concept over to a client I encourage them to share it with friends and family as well as with other people that they don’t actually know so as to get objective viewpoints on the merit of a design concept. Fortunately, he discussed it with his whole family and they really loved the design and were able to persuade him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to incorporate every other seabird he could think of … in the end I was able to talk him out of his choice of a pelican and he went with the original concept.

Logos are a weird creature in the design world because the people that have a tendency to hire an expert to design their logo design comprehend how crucial a logo is for their organization so they are much more vested in the final result. Every logo design project possesses it’s portion of challenges, however the largest challenge is finding that sweet spot in a design that functions really well at the job it’s required to do in branding a company and also giving the customer the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo design with bamboo behind-the-scenes, design for Schaumburg publication author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a cramped segment of real estate to work with, but it is the most essential part of a published book given that it is ordinarily the primary thing a person views in the book store. Regarding a publishing company, it’s the opportunity that they will ever have to spotlight their product and get their logo design in front of the people that buy actual books.

This 3 color design is vivid, picturesque and eye-catching and it leaves plenty of area for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo made for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo has 2 letter A's with benches changed to imply they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and depart nevertheless it seems that in many occurrences 1 of the items individuals tend to recollect the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a young new venture commuter/shuttle airline company based in LA and although I’m not sure it actually “took off” their logo didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their title lent itself well to conferring a good sense of flight and it was undoubtedly a success.

Schaumburg logo style used for marketing and also a tag design for Vintage Instance includes an old font style layout.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in new cases for music instruments, which looked to be older cases. For this logo design I tried to come up with a logo that offered a fluid vintage feel to it and could be utilized for everything from a web page to a label on brand new cases that appeared like they were from another era.

Logo design created for an orthodontist in Schaumburg, design include an arc with lines intersecting with it to imply steel braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental logo designs can be one of the most difficult logo jobs considering that it seems that every dental professional includes a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental logos are one of the very most cliche ridden fields when it comes to business advertising, if restaurants approached their advertising in the very same way dental professionals do every one of their company logos would be a picture trying to explain something they served, McDonalds would likely include a picture of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind including an illustration of something mouth related to a dentist’s logo design but it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dental professionals logo that litter the branding landscape of the dentistry profession.

I actually love doing dentistry logos simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a specific area of dental treatment like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd course of action that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics delivered such an opportunity and ultimately I created a concept that doesn’t have a single smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t overt, they are still suggested in the design. When I turned this particular concept over to the customer the only smile that was evident was actually the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo design made for a household nonprofit, the logo includes 4 personalities startled in elevation to represent a family unit with in the style.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation asked ImageCo to help them come up with a brand identity design that would be illustrative of the devotion that William McNally had for the families in his city. Most logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain pictures of a happy family, a cliche heavy method to any logo design is to be far too literal pertaining to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve found that the best concepts are the ones that are understated and don’t hit the viewer on the head with what the business or organization wants to convey.

The McNally Foundation’s name provided a distinct opportunity to do a custom logo design that conveyed that they were about families without being overtly cheesy about it. The objective of a logo is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer attempts to use the logo design to describe precisely how individuals should think or feel they don’t understand the mission of a logo. If people have to ponder a logo to understand what it means, it has failed, a logo needs to be instantly understood and a logo that describes itself will never have the likelihood to be comprehended.

Logo layout created for a hair design workshop including a manuscript font a hummingbird and an implied orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios desired a company logo that related an atmosphere of peace and connection for their new hair studio. I created a concept which did not go the obvious path of creating simply a stylized orchid but alternatively designed a logo design which implied an orchid in the formation of a swirl integrated into the letter O in the name and by putting emphasis on the logo design along with the figure of a hummingbird hovering over the image itself. The obvious path in designing a logo is generally the incorrect route and in this case, the design ended up not being about the flower but alternately placed the importance on the feeling that they wanted to transmit to their patrons.

Logo layout for a software program developer the layout functions as well as iconic aspect of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the principal component of an operating system (OS). Traditionally, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task control, and hard drive managing. The kernel unites the computer hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that acts as a bridge between the software and computer hardware.

The logo design I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a number of miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to identify anything to anyone about what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. But it symbolized something to the owner of the company and in many cases the substance supporting a business logo is just as important as how it serves the company it represents.

Evolve logo layout created for a Schaumburg indoor designer, style attribute a collection of red circles that converge as well as change the letter O in the middle of the logo style.

A logo layout including an angler in the middle of the name casting a fly towards the visitor.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brand names like Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in over 7 billion a year selling supplies and equipment to outdoor sporting fans the owners of On the Fly realized the market was primed for an outdoor sporting merchant that operates as a consignment firm. Whether you are into boating, angling or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a place for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all sorts of interests, a spot to market their secondhand goods to other sports enthusiasts. I created their Schaumburg logo dsign with an image that seizes the interest of traffic and projects an image that calls to mind the enthusiasm of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages 45 mph I realized it would take more than the average logo/sign to get commuters to take notice, hence the illustration of a fly fisherman in his natural and serene habitat.
Logo style MQ farms, this logo layout has a field incorporated right into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms emblem concept wasn’t really composed for an Schaumburg regional farm it was really created for a commodities broker, and this company logo was one of several that fell under the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The end goal was to produce an identity that projects self-confidence, effectiveness, and affluence.
Logo design developed for using an indicator for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is a luxuriant script typeface that is similar to a renowned sporting activities group logo.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve created loads of restaurant custom logo designs and business signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the US, from cupcake bake shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I believe Brewgrrs was my favorite. Brewgrrs was a great undertaking where I worked closely with the business owner to develop a logo design that worked extremely well and did a great job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the lighted signage that hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very legible from over a block away.
