Conroe Logo Design

Nearly every new Conroe business understands that they are in need of a logo, but few entrepreneurs thoroughly recognize the crucial role their logo can make in their financial success, or precisely why one logo works more effectively than another. A logo design has a critical and long term influence on the prosperity of a business, select the correct one and it can make the door swing and phone ring, choose the wrong one and it will be an obstacle and an impediment for the longevity of a company. The logos presented in the ImageCo portfolio help Conroe businesses succeed, they are effective in any given situation and the reason why they are so effective is that they all have these 5 features in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logos don’t demand scrutiny, they can be understood in just a glance.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to signboards a scalable logo design will be legible and equally emotive at any scale.
  3. Versatility: logos that work on any device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are unique, and they are suitable for the business they stand for.
  5. Relevance: a logo must be ageless and should feel relevant today, tomorrow, and 20 years from today.

Retro logo layout of a bicycle created for a Conroe coffee cafe and a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This fledgling coffee roaster and coffee bar were actually opening up in an older section of the community and really wanted to cast a nostalgic vibe without coming across as boring or low energy. I accomplished both of these tasks via creating a logo design that features a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is antiquated, higher energy, and is a ageless business image.

medical logo layout with a microscope slide as well as germs developed for Conroe clinical facility.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science that examines the triggers and consequences of diseases, especially the branch of medicine that works with the clinical evaluation of samplings of human body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic reasons.

The Mid-Valley Pathology logo I came up with is the only instance I recall in which I was in a position to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide within a logo design.

Usually I attempt not to be overly literal with a concept and to a degree, this specific design approaches the company it represents quite literally, but it does it in a fashion that incorporates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an illustration of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the brand that makes it more captivating, more interest grabbing and even more memorable.

logo design with a leaping environment-friendly frog designed for a family fun center in Conroe.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a very fun project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s additionally a project that is way out of the usual of the sorts of projects which come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for health care providers, dental offices, and attorneys but Cool Springz is without question the one and only trampoline park that I have actually ever had the privilege to work on.

Given that the title of the business has the word springz in its name the apparent choice would have been to feature a handful of springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun location to go and spring does not really resonate an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this logo design project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, inevitably I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the name itself to give the logo a more enthusiastic high energy impression.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my concept and named the frog Jax and incorporated him in to everything they utilized for promotion and marketing. I also think this is the only time that a logo I designed was turned into a mascot when they had an employee costume fashioned to look just like my frog design.

digital photography logo including a flock of birds, a mountain, a trail, a stream, and a tree - created for Conroe travel digital photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo design job I took on for a travel photographer, which is a fairly specialized field of photography and I believe it is a niche speciality due to the fact that travel photographers tend not to capture places or things but instead project emotional experiences through the pictures they record. The thought behind this logo concept was to make use of negative space to reveal more than what was visible upon first glance, which I think is representative of almost all good photographers in that they oftentimes share whole stories through their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey much more than that because their photos often have an emotional fullness that can’t be revealed with just words. I tried to do something the same to this logo by utilizing the positive space in the design to say one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was communicated through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Conroe logo design but also to illustrate the depth to her work and in the way that she sees the world through the lens of her camera.

Conroe logo design with a seagull made use of for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail company.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The bulk of logo design projects that I take on I honestly take pleasure in and the Coastal Wireless design was one that I certainly felt good about, but the client didn’t quite share my excitement for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull form as a stroke in the character A but the customer, even though he loved the concept, really did not care for my choice of birds. This particular guy truly disliked seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, luckily the rest of his family members did not share his contempt for this particular kind of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a customer I encourage all of them to discuss it with colleagues and family as well as with folks that they don’t actually know so as to get impartial point of views on the value of a design. Fortunately, he discussed it with his family members and they loved the concept and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to insert every other seabird he could think of … in the end I was able to talk him out of his choice of a pelican and he proceeded with the original design.

Logos are a strange creature in the design world given that the people that tend to hire a professional to create their logo design comprehend how important a logo design is for their organization so they are much more invested in the end result. Every logo job has it’s portion of difficulties, however the most significant obstacle is identifying that sweet spot in a design that functions really well at the task it’s required to do in branding a business and also giving the client the image they see for themselves.

a red panda logo style with bamboo behind-the-scenes, style for Conroe publication publisher

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a slender parcel of real estate to work with, but it really is the most necessary part of a published book since it is in most cases the very first thing a person views in the bookstore. Concerning a publishing company, it’s the absolute best opportunity they will ever have to promote their brand and get their logo design in front of the people that buy actual books.

This three color design is vivid, picturesque and eye-catching and it gives plenty of area for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo developed for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo design has 2 letter A's with the bars modified to imply they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and depart yet it seems that in many instances one of the traits individuals usually tend to recollect the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a modest startup commuter/shuttle airline situated in LA and although I’m not certain it actually “took off” their business logo didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their brand lent itself well to imparting a spirit of flight and it was certainly a winner.

Conroe logo style used for advertising and marketing and a tag style for Vintage Situation includes an old font style style.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case focused in brand-new cases for music instruments, that seemed to be older cases. For this custom logo design I attempted to come up with a logo that provided a fluid old style feel to it and could be used for every thing from a web page to a label on brand new cases that appeared like they were from another generation.

Logo design developed for an orthodontist in Conroe, layout consist of an arc with lines intersecting with it to indicate steel braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dentistry business logos can easily be one of the most challenging and difficult logo projects considering that it seems that virtually every dental professional involves a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dentistry logo designs are one of the most cliche ridden fields when it comes to small business advertising, if restaurants approached their advertising in the same way dental offices do every one of their company logos would definitely be a picture explaining something they served, McDonalds would likely have an image of a potato and a cow.

I understand the thinking behind including a likeness of something mouth associated to a dentist’s logo but it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental profession.

I really love doing dentistry logos simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies the field of dentistry or a certain area of the field of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd course of action that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics provided such an opportunity and ultimately I created a design that doesn’t have a single smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t overt, they are still suggested in the concept. When I turned this particular concept over to the customer the only smile that was evident was actually the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo design created for a household nonprofit, the logo features 4 characters staggered in height to stand for a family unit with in the style.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation contacted ImageCo to help them come up with a custom logo design that would be illustrative of the love that William McNally had for the residents in his city. The majority of logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain pictures of a happy family, a cliche heavy approach to any logo design is to be very literal pertaining to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve found that the best designs are the ones that are downplayed and never hit the viewer on the head with what the business or institution hopes to relate.

The McNally Foundation’s name provided a distinct opportunity to do a logo design that conveyed that they were about families without being overtly cheesy about it. The objective of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer makes an effort to use the logo to describe how individuals ought to think or feel they don’t understand the purpose of a logo. If viewers have to ponder a logo to understand what it means, it has been in vain, a logo needs to be instantly understood and a logo design that describes itself won’t have the chance to be comprehended.

Logo design created for a hair style studio including a script font a hummingbird as well as an indicated orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios wanted a company logo which projected a feeling of simplicity and elegance for their new hair studio. I created a design which did not go the obvious path of creating simply a stylized orchid but alternatively delivered a logo that implied a flower in the formation of a swirl incorporated in to the letter O in the title and by putting emphasis on the logo design along with the silhouette of a hummingbird hovering above the image itself. The obvious path in creating a company logo is generally the wrong course and in this case, the design ended up not being about the flower but alternately laid the emphasis on the perception that they wanted to project to their clients.

Las Cafe | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

Las Coffee shop logo layout a tiny restaurant, layout contains a customized script font style which floats above a group of ornate lines as well as dots.

Logo layout for a software designer the style attributes as well as legendary component of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the key part of an operating system (OS). Traditionally, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task control, and hard drive operations. The kernel connects the computer hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that serves as a connection in between the software and hardware.

The business logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is located a number of miles from the offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to describe anything to anyone about what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However, it meant something to the business owner of the company and in many cases the meaning behind a logo is equally as important as how it brands the business it stands for.

Evolve logo style developed for a Conroe indoor designer, design feature a collection of red circles that converge and also change the letter O in the center of the logo style.

A logo design including a fisherman in the middle of the name casting a fly towards the visitor.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brand names such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in over 7 billion a year offering goods and equipment to outdoor sporting lovers the founders of On the Fly understood the market was prepared for an outdoor sporting retailer that functions as a consignment firm. Whether you are into boating, fishing or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly presents a place for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all types of passions, a place to market their previously owned products to other sports enthusiasts. I tailored their Conroe logo dsign using a graphic which grabs the interest of vehicles and projects an image that calls to mind the passion of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages 45 mph I knew it would take more than the average logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the picture of a fly fisherman in his natural and tranquil habitat.
Logo design MQ farms, this logo design has actually a field included right into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms business logo idea wasn’t really developed for an Conroe regional farm it was in reality devised for a products broker, and this logo was one of several which fell beneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The aim was to create a graphic that projects confidence, success, and affluence.
Logo design designed for using a sign for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is an ornate script typeface that is evocative a renowned sporting activities group logo design.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve designed loads of restaurant custom logo designs and business signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the USA, from cupcake bakeries to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I believe Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a great project where I worked closely with the business owner to create a logo design that worked extremely well and did a fantastic job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the illuminated sign that hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
