North Richland Hills Logo Design

Every new North Richland Hills business realizes that they require a logo, yet few entrepreneurs thoroughly realize the essential role their business logo can play in their becoming successful, or the reason that one logo functions more effectively than another. A company logo has an instant and long-term influence on the growth of a company, choose the correct one and it can make the door swing and cash register ring, choose the wrong one and it will be an obstacle and an impediment for the life of a company. The logos presented in the ImageCo portfolio help North Richland Hills companies prosper, they are effective in any given scenario and the reason they are so effective is because they all have these 5 things in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logo designs don’t require scrutiny, they can be comprehended in just a glance.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to posters a scalable business logo will stay legible and equally emotive at every dimension.
  3. Versatility: logos that work on any type of device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball-cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are exclusive, and they are suitable for the company they stand for.
  5. Relevance: a company logo must be ageless and will feel relevant today, tomorrow, and twenty years from now.

Retro logo layout of a bike created for a North Richland Hills coffee cafe and also a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This startup coffee roaster and cafe were actually opening up in an old part of the area and really wanted to visualize a vintage tone without appearing as uninteresting or low energy. I achieved both tasks by means of creating a company logo concept that incorporates a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is antiquated, higher energy, and is a ageless business image.

clinical logo layout with a microscopic lense slide and also germs made for North Richland Hills medical center.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science which analyzes the root causes and consequences of diseases, especially the field of healthcare that works with the clinical examination of samples of human body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic intents.

The Mid-Valley Pathology custom logo design I came up with is the only instance I remember in which I was able to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide into a logo design.

Normally I try not to be excessively literal with a concept and to a degree, this specific design approaches the company it serves quite literally, but it does it in a way that incorporates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as a description of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the brand that helps make it more interesting, more interest grabbing and more meaningful.

logo style with a jumping environment-friendly frog created for a family fun facility in North Richland Hills.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a very fun project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s additionally a project that is way out of the norm of the sorts of jobs which come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for surgeons, dental experts, and attorneys but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park which I have ever gotten the opportunity to work on.

Given that the name of the company has the word springz in its name the clear choice would have been to incorporate a couple of springs into the concept but Cool Springz is a fun location to go and spring doesn’t actually resonate an atmosphere of fun does it. My thought process on this logo design project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, inevitably I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to provide the logo a more enthusiastic high energy impression.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my brainchild and named the frog Jax and incorporated him in to everything they used for advertising. I also think this is the only time that a logo I did was made into a mascot when they had an employee costume fashioned to look exactly like my frog design.

digital photography logo featuring a flock of birds, a hill, a trail, a stream, and a tree - developed for North Richland Hills travel digital photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a custom logo design job I took on for a travel photographer, which is a rather specialized field of photography and I believe it is a niche area due to the fact that travel photographers tend not to shoot locations or things but rather convey emotional experiences by means of the images they capture. The idea behind this logo composition was to make use of negative space to convey more than what was visible upon initial view, which I think is representative of most professional photographers in that they oftentimes convey whole stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words but I think that some photographs convey a great deal more than that because their photos frequently have an emotional resonance which can’t be communicated with mere words. I attempted to do something very similar to this logo by using the positive space in the design to say one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was communicated through the first impression. I think, in looking back, that my objective was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  North Richland Hills logo but also to reveal the depth to her art and in the way that she views the world through the lens of her camera.

North Richland Hills logo layout with a seagull used for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail company.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The lion’s share of logo design jobs that I take on I really relish and the Coastal Wireless design was one that I certainly felt good about, however the client didn’t quite share my excitement for it. I felt really good about the concept of using the seagull shape as a stroke in the character A however my customer, while he liked the concept, really did not care for my choice of birds. This man really disliked seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, fortunately the rest of his family didn’t share his contempt for this particular kind of sea bird.

When I turn a concept over to a customer I encourage all of them to talk about it with colleagues and family members as well as with individuals that they don’t even know so as to get unbiased point of views on the merit of a design. Fortunately, he discussed it with his family members and they adored the design and were able to persuade him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to include every other seabird he could think of … in the end I was able to talk him out of his preference of a pelican and he proceeded with the original concept.

Logos are a strange animal in the design world because the people that are inclined to hire an expert to design their business logo realize how vital a logo is for their organization so they are way more vested in the end result. Every logo job has it’s allotment of obstacles, however the biggest obstacle is identifying that sweet spot in a design that operates really well at the task it’s needed to do in branding a business and also providing the customer the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo design with bamboo in the background, design for North Richland Hills book publisher

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a slender segment of real estate to work with, however it is the most vital part of a published book considering that it is ordinarily the initial thing a person sees in the bookstore. With respect to a publishing company, it’s the opportunity they will likely ever have to publicize their product and get their logo design in front of the people that shop for actual books.

This three color design is vibrant, colorful and eye-catching and it leaves plenty of space for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo designed for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo design has two letter A's with the bars changed to suggest they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines come and depart nevertheless it looks like that in many cases one of the traits people usually tend to recollect the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a young start-up commuter/shuttle airline company based in LA and while I’m not certain it actually “took off” their logo design didn’t ground them. The bookend A’s in their brand lent itself well to imparting a feeling of air travel and it was surely a winner.

North Richland Hills logo design made use of for advertising and marketing and a label layout for Vintage Instance includes an old font style.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in all new cases for music instruments, that looked to be vintage cases. For this brand concept I strove to come up with a logo that offered a fluid old style feel to it and could be used for everything from a website to an insignia on brand new cases that seemed like they were from a different generation.

Logo design developed for an orthodontist in North Richland Hills, style consist of an arc with lines converging with it to suggest metal braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental logo designs can be one of the most difficult logo jobs considering that it appears that every dental professional includes a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental logo designs are one of the very most cliche ridden careers when it comes to company marketing, if restaurants approached their branding in the very same way dental practices do every one of their company logos would be a picture explaining anything they served, McDonalds would likely contain a picture of a potato and a cow.

I understand the thinking behind adding an illustration of something mouth associated to a dentist’s logo but it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dental professionals logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental profession.

I actually love doing dental care logo designs simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a specific area of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the stereotypical course of action that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics provided such an opportunity and subsequently I created a concept that does not have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still suggested in the design. When I turned this design over to the client the only smile that was obvious was actually the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo designed for a family members not-for-profit, the logo design includes 4 personalities startled in elevation to represent a family unit with in the style.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation asked ImageCo to help them come up with a brand identity design that would be representative of the devotion that William McNally had for the families in his community. The majority of logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain portrayals of a happy family, a cliche heavy technique to any logo design is to be very literal pertaining to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best concepts are the ones that are downplayed and never hit the viewer on the head with what the company or institution hopes to project.

The McNally Foundation’s name provided a distinct opportunity to do a logo which conveyed that they were about families without being overtly corny about it. The goal of a logo is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer makes an effort to use the logo design to illustrate specifically how people ought to think or feel they don’t understand the goal of a logo. If viewers have to ponder a logo to understand what it means, it has failed, a logo needs to be immediately understood and a logo that illustrates itself will never have the chance to be understood.

Logo design created for a hair design studio featuring a manuscript font a hummingbird and an indicated orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios desired a company logo that communicated a feeling of contentment and elegance for their new hair salon. I came up with a design that did not go the obvious route of crafting merely a stylized orchid but alternatively crafted a logo that implied a flower in the formation of a swirl blended in to the letter O in the name and by putting emphasis on the concept with the silhouette of a hummingbird floating above the logo itself. The obvious path in creating a logo is in most cases the incorrect path and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but instead laid the emphasis on the feeling that they wanted to project to their customers.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

Logo style for a software program programmer the design functions and famous aspect of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the central part of an operating system (OS). Generally, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task management, and drive managing. The kernel unites the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that functions as a bridge between the software and computer hardware.

The logo design I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is located a couple of miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to spell out anything to anyone pertaining to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. But it meant something to the owner of the business and in many cases the meaning behind a logo design is equally as important as how it serves the organization it stands for.

A logo layout featuring an angler in the center of the name casting a fly in the direction of the visitor.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brand names like Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year selling goods and equipment to outdoor sporting lovers the founders of On the Fly realized the market was primed for an outdoor sporting retailer that functions as a consignment company. Whether or not you are into boating, fishing or mountain climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly presents a location for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all sorts of interests, a location to sell their used products to other sports enthusiasts. I tailored their North Richland Hills logo design dsign using an image that garners the interest of traffic and projects an image that arouses the passion of the outdoors. With traffic that averages 45 mph I knew it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get commuters to take notice, hence the image of a fly fisherman in his natural and serene habitat.
Logo layout MQ ranches, this logo layout has a field integrated into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms brand idea wasn’t actually composed for an North Richland Hills area farm it was in reality designed for a commodities broker, and this logo was one of multiple which fell under the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The objective was really to generate a graphic that projects self-assurance, effectiveness, and prosperity.
Logo design designed for the use of an indicator for the restaurant (Brewgrrs), it is an elaborate manuscript typeface that is similar to a well-known sporting activities group logo design.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I have created dozens of restaurant logo designs and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the United States, from cupcake bakeshops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a cool undertaking in which I worked closely with the business owner to produce a logo design which worked very well and did a great job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the illuminated signage which hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
