Opelika Logo Design

Each and every new Opelika business realizes that they are in need of a logo, however few entrepreneurs fully are aware of the key role their business logo will perform in their success, or why one logo design performs more effectively than another. A company logo has a critical and sustaining effect on the prosperity of a company, select the correct one and it will make the door swing and phone ring, go with the incorrect one and it can be an obstacle and an impediment for the life of a business. The logos presented in the ImageCo portfolio help Opelika companies prosper, they are effective in any given situation and the main reason they are so effective is because they all have these five things in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logos do not demand consideration, they can be comprehended in merely a glimpse.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to posters a scalable business logo will continue to be legible and just as emotive at every dimension.
  3. Versatility: logos that operate on any type of device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball-cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are unique, and they are suitable for the business they stand for.
  5. Relevance: a logo design must be timeless and should feel relevant today, tomorrow, and twenty years from today.

Retro logo layout of a bike developed for a Opelika coffee cafe and a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This start-up coffee roaster and coffeehouse were actually opening up in an old part of the community and really wanted to project a nostalgic atmosphere without coming across as uninteresting or low energy. I fulfilled the two tasks via developing a business logo concept that incorporates a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, higher energy, and is a timeless business image.

clinical logo design with a microscope slide and also germs designed for Opelika medical facility.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science that researches the root causes and consequences of diseases, mainly the branch of medicine that deals with the clinical examination of specimens of human body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic reasons.

The Mid-Valley Pathology brand I came up with is really the sole instance I call to mind where I was able to integrate a bacteria-laden microscope slide within a logo design.

Generally I try not to be extremely literal with a design and to a degree, this specific design approaches the company it represents very literally, but it does it in a way that incorporates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as a description of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the name that helps make it more captivating, more focus grabbing and much more meaningful.

logo layout with a leaping green frog made for a family enjoyable center in Opelika.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really fun project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s additionally a project that is way out of the norm of the kinds of jobs that come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for medical professionals, dentists, and legal professionals but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park which I have ever had the privilege to work on.

Given that the name of the company has the word springz in its name the apparent choice would have been to feature a couple of springs into the concept but Cool Springz is a fun destination to go and spring does not really reflect an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this logo design project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, ultimately I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the name itself to provide the logo a better lively high energy feeling.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my concept and named the frog Jax and included him in to everything they used for marketing. I also believe this is the only time that a logo I created was transformed into a mascot when they had an employee costume fabricated to look just like my frog design.

photography logo featuring a flock of birds, a mountain, a trail, a stream, as well as a tree - developed for Opelika travel digital photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a pretty niche field of photography and I think it is a niche area because travel photographers tend not to capture places or things but instead convey emotional journeys through the pictures they capture. The idea behind this logo design was to utilize negative space to project more than what was visible upon initial glance, which I think is quintessential of most professional photographers in that they frequently convey entire stories through their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey considerably more than that because their photos frequently have an emotional fullness that can’t be communicated with mere words. I tried to do something similar to this logo design by using the positive space in the design to suggest one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my objective was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Opelika logo but also to show the depth to her work and in the way that she perceives the world through the lens of her camera.

Opelika logo design with a seagull made use of for the letter A. Designed for a cordless retail business.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The lion’s share of custom logo design jobs that I take on I honestly take pleasure in and the Coastal Wireless assignment was one that I really felt good about, however the customer didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull silhouette as a stroke in the letter A but the client, while he loved the concept, really did not care for my choice of birds. This particular guy genuinely despised seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, fortunately the rest of his friends and family did not share his contempt for this particular kind of sea bird.

When I turn a concept over to a client I urge all of them to talk about it with friends and family as well as with folks that they don’t even know so as to get neutral assessments on the worthiness of a concept. Fortunately, he shared it with his family members and they loved the concept and were able to persuade him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to incorporate every other seabird he could think of … ultimately I was able to talk him out of his preference of a pelican and he went with the original concept.

Business logos are a weird creature in the design world given that the people that are inclined to hire an expert to create their business logo understand how vital a logo is for their company so they are much more vested in the end result. Every logo job has it’s portion of hurdles, but the biggest obstacle is finding that sweet spot in a design that works really well at the job it’s required to do in branding a business and also providing the customer the image they see for themselves.

a red panda logo design with bamboo behind-the-scenes, design for Opelika publication publisher

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a cramped piece of real estate to work with, nevertheless it is the most essential part of a published book given that it is in most cases the initial thing a person views in the book shop. Regarding a publishing company, it’s the best opportunity that they will ever get to publicize their label and get their logo design in front of the men and women that shop for actual books.

This 3 color design is vibrant, colorful and eye-catching and it leaves plenty of area for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo designed for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo design has 2 letter A's with the bars customized to indicate they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and go but it seems like that in many cases one of the aspects folks usually tend to recollect the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a small fledgling commuter/shuttle air service situated in LA and while I’m not certain it really “took off” their custom logo didn’t ground them. The bookend A’s in their name lent itself well to conferring a spirit of airline flight and it was undoubtedly a success.

Opelika logo layout made use of for marketing and a tag design for Vintage Situation includes an antiquated typeface design.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in brand new cases for music instruments, which seemed to be older cases. For this custom logo design I attempted to come up with a logo that had a fluid nostalgic feel to it and could be utilized for everything from a web site to a label on brand new cases that seemed like they were from a different generation.

Logo developed for an orthodontist in Opelika, style include an arc with lines converging with it to suggest steel braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental care logo designs can easily be one of the most challenging logo design projects because it seems that every dentist integrates a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dentistry logo designs are one of the most cliche ridden careers when it comes to company branding, if restaurants approached their branding in the very same way dental practices do every one of their company logos would be a picture trying to explain something they served, McDonalds would most likely contain a picture of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind incorporating an image of something mouth related to a dentist’s logo nevertheless it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dental professionals logo that litter the branding landscape of the dentistry profession.

I really love doing dental care logos simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a certain field of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the stereotypical solution that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics provided such an opportunity and ultimately I created a concept that doesn’t have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t overt, they are still implied in the design. When I turned this concept over to the customer the only smile that was apparent was really the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo design developed for a family members nonprofit, the logo design includes 4 personalities staggered in elevation to stand for a family unit with in the design.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation reached out to ImageCo to help them come up with a logo that would be illustrative of the devotion that William McNally had for the people residing in his city. Most logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain pictures of a happy family, a cliche heavy method to any logo design is to be very literal about what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve found that the best designs are the ones that are understated and don’t hit the viewer on the head with what the company or organization wants to project.

The McNally Foundation’s name offered a unique opportunity to do a custom logo design that conveyed that they were about families without being overtly corny about it. The objective of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer makes an effort to use the logo to explain precisely how individuals should think or feel they don’t understand the objective of a logo. If people have to think about a logo design to understand what it means, it has failed, a logo needs to be instantly understood and a logo design that explains itself won’t have the opportunity to be understood.

Logo style developed for a hair layout studio featuring a script font a hummingbird as well as a suggested orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios required a logo that carried a sense of serenity and connection for their new hair studio. I created a concept which did not go the obvious route of creating merely a stylized orchid but rather delivered a logo design which suggested an orchid in the pattern of a swirl integrated into the letter O in the name and by putting emphasis on the concept using the figure of a hummingbird hovering above the logo design itself. The obvious path in creating a company logo is frequently the wrong path and in this case, the design ended up not being about the flower but instead laid the main focus on the perception that they wanted to forecast to their customers.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

ImageCo designed a one-of-a-kind company logo design customized to manifest the unique physical traits of the Arabian breed of equines. By having an identifiable head shape and very high tail carriage, the Arabian is one of the very most immediately identifiable equine breeds in the entire world.

Las Cafe logo layout a little restaurant, style consists of a modified manuscript typeface which hovers above a group of luxuriant lines and dots.

Logo style for a software designer the layout functions and also renowned aspect of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the central part of an operating system (OS). Traditionally, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task management, and disk managing. The kernel attaches the computer hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that acts as a bridge between the software program and computer hardware.

The logo design I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a number of miles from the offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to spell out anything to anyone about what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. But it symbolized something to the business owner of the business and in quite a few cases the significance behind a business logo is just as important as how it brands the business it represents.

Develop logo style created for a Opelika indoor developer, layout feature a series of red circles that intersect and change the letter O in the center of the logo style.

Evolv Interior Design | Logo Design | Branding

A logo layout featuring an angler in the center of the name casting a fly in the direction of the viewer.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brands such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year retailing supplies and equipment to outdoor sporting fans the founders of On the Fly knew the market was primed for an outdoor sporting merchant that operates as a consignment company. Whether or not you are into boating, fishing or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a venue for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all types of interests, a place to sell their used products to other sports enthusiasts. I tailored their Opelika logo design dsign utilizing a graphic that garners the interest of traffic and projects an image that evokes the enthusiasm of the outdoors. With traffic that averages forty five mph I realized it would take more than the average logo/sign to get commuters to take notice, hence the graphic of a fly fisherman in his natural and tranquil habitat.
Logo style MQ ranches, this logo style has a field incorporated into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms brand design wasn’t really developed for an Opelika regional farm it was actually created for a commodities broker, and this trademark was one of many that fell underneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The objective was to produce a graphic that projected esteem, financial success, and opulence.
Logo made for using an indicator for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is an ornate manuscript font that is similar to a renowned sports group logo design.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve crafted dozens of restaurant logo designs and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the United States, from cupcake pastry shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my favorite. Brewgrrs was a cool project where I worked directly with the owner to produce a business logo which worked extremely well and did a great job to brand them, it functioned on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the lighted sign which hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
