Prichard, Alabama Logo Design

Every new Prichard company realizes that they are in need of a logo, however few entrepreneurs fully recognize the key role their organization logo will make in their financial success, or why one logo design performs better than another. A business logo has an immediate and long-term influence on the success of a business, choose the right one and it will make the door swing and cash register ring, select the incorrect one and it will be a barrier and an impediment for the longevity of a company.

The logos presented in the ImageCo portfolio help Prichard, Alabama businesses prosper, they are effective in any given circumstance and the reason they are so effective is because they all have these 5 features in common.

  1. Simplicity: simple logo designs do not require contemplation, they can be grasped in just a glance.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to posters a scalable logo will remain legible and just as emotive at virtually any dimension.
  3. Versatility: logos that function on any device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are personal, and they are suitable for the business they represent.
  5. Relevance: a logo design needs to be lasting and will feel relevant today, tomorrow, and forty years from now.

Logo PORTFOLIO Volume 1

Retro logo layout of a bike produced for a Prichard, Alabama coffee cafe and also a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This fledgling coffee roaster and coffee shop were launching in an older section of the area and really wanted to project a retro vibe without coming across as uninteresting or low energy. I fulfilled both jobs by means of developing a business logo concept that contains a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is antiquated, high energy, and is a ageless business image.

medical logo layout with a microscope slide as well as germs made for Prichard, Alabama medical clinic.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science which examines the causes and effects of diseases, especially the field of medicine which deals with the clinical evaluation of samples of body tissue for diagnostic or forensic purposes.

The Mid-Valley Pathology custom logo design I came up with is the only instance I recall in which I was in a position to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide within a business logo design.

Generally I try not to be extremely literal with a design and to a degree, this specific design approaches the company it represents rather literally, yet it does it in a way that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an illustration of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancer to the name that helps make it more interesting, more focus grabbing and even more unforgettable.

logo layout with a leaping green frog created for a family fun facility in Prichard, Alabama.

Cool Springs | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a very fun project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the usual of the kinds of jobs that come my way, I’ve produced dozens of logo designs for medical professionals, dental professionals, and attorneys but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park which I have actually ever gotten the opportunity to work on.

Given that the name of the company features the word springz in its name the obvious choice would have been to integrate a some springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun location to go and spring does not really reflect an atmosphere of fun does it. My thought process on this logo design project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, eventually I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to give the logo a better lively high energy impression.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my design and named the frog Jax and integrated him in to everything they used for marketing. I also believe this is the only time that a logo I created was turned into a mascot when they had an employee costume fashioned to look exactly like my frog design.

digital photography logo design including a flock of birds, a hill, a path, a stream, and a tree - created for Prichard, Alabama travel professional photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a custom logo design project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a rather specialized field of photography and I think it is a niche area due to the fact that travel photographers tend not to shoot locations or things but rather convey emotional experiences by means of the photos they record. The thought behind this logo concept was to use negative space to communicate more than what was visible upon initial view, which I think is quintessential of almost all good photographers in that they often tell entire stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey much more than that because their photos often have an emotional resonance that can’t be revealed with just words. I attempted to do something much the same to this logo by making use of the positive space in the design to say one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in looking back, that my objective was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Prichard logo design but also to illustrate the depth in her work and in the way that she sees the world through the lens of her camera.

Prichard logo design with a seagull used for the letter A. Designed for a cordless retail business.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The bulk of custom logo design projects that I take on I genuinely savor and the Coastal Wireless assignment was one that I really felt good about, but the customer didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull form as a stroke in the letter A however my client, while he loved the concept, really did not care for my choice of birds. This guy truly disliked seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, luckily the rest of his friends and family did not share his contempt for this particular variety of sea bird.

When I turn a concept over to a customer I urge them to talk about it with friends and colleagues and family as well as with people that they don’t actually know so as to get unbiased assessments on the value of a design concept. Fortunately, he shared it with his family members and they really liked the design and were able to persuade him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to incorporate every other seabird he could think of … eventually I was able to talk him out of his alternative of a pelican and he went with the original design.

Custom logo designs are a weird creature in the design world because the people that have a tendency to hire an expert to design their logo design understand how important a logo design is for their business so they are much more vested in the outcome. Every logo job possesses it’s share of challenges, but the most significant challenge is identifying that sweet spot in a design that works really well at the task it’s required to do in branding a company and also providing the customer the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo layout with bamboo behind-the-scenes, layout for Prichard, Alabama publication author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a slender piece of real estate to work with, however it really is the most necessary part of a printed book since it is often the initial thing a person views in the book store. Concerning a publishing company, it’s the best opportunity they will ever have to spotlight their brand and get their logo design in front of the men and women that purchase actual books.

This 3 color design is vivid, colorful and eye-catching and it leaves plenty of space for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo designed for an airline company in Los Angeles, the logo design has two letter A's with benches customized to suggest they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines come and go yet it seems like that in many instances one of the things individuals usually tend to recall the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a modest start-up commuter/shuttle airline company situated in LA and while I’m not certain it actually “took off” their organization logo didn’t ground them. The bookend A’s in their brand lent itself well to confering a good sense of airline flight and it was definitely a winner.

Prichard logo layout utilized for marketing and also a label design for Vintage Case features an old font style style.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in brand-new cases for music instruments, which looked to be vintage cases. For this logo design I sought to come up with a logo that had a fluid nostalgic feel to it and could easily be used for everything from a website to a label on brand new cases that seemed like they were from another point in time.

Logo design created for an orthodontist in Prichard, Alabama, layout consist of an arc with lines converging via it to imply steel braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental care business logos can easily be one of the most challenging logo design jobs considering that it appears that almost every dental professional features a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental logo designs are one of the most cliche ridden professions when it comes to company advertising, if dining establishments approached their advertising in the very same way dental practices do every one of their logo designs would definitely be a picture explaining something they served, McDonalds would likely have an image of a potato and a cow.

I understand the thinking behind including an illustration of something mouth associated to a dentist’s logo nevertheless it has to be done subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dental professionals logo that litter the branding landscape of the dentistry profession.

I actually love doing dental logo designs simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies the field of dentistry or a specific field of the field of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd solution that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics delivered such an opportunity and inevitably I created a layout that does not have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still implied in the design. When I turned this particular design over to the client the only smile that was obvious was the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo designed for a family not-for-profit, the logo includes 4 personalities startled in elevation to represent a family with in the design.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation reached out to ImageCo to help them come up with a logo that would be representative of the love that William McNally had for the people in his community. The majority of logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain depictions of a happy family, a cliche heavy technique to any logo design is to be very literal pertaining to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve found that the best designs are the ones that are understated and don’t hit the viewer on the head with what the company or institution wishes to convey.

The McNally Foundation’s name offered a distinct opportunity to do a logo that conveyed that they were about families without being openly corny about it. The goal of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer makes an effort to use the logo design to illustrate specifically how individuals should think or feel they don’t understand the purpose of a logo. If people have to think about a logo to understand what it means, it has fallen short, a logo needs to be instantly comprehended and a logo design that illustrates itself will never have the likelihood to be understood.

Logo layout produced for a hair design studio including a script font a hummingbird and an implied orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios needed a company logo which communicated a spirit of contentment and connection for their new hair studio. I came up with a design that did not go the obvious path of crafting merely a stylized orchid but rather designed a logo that suggested a flower in the pattern of a swirl integrated in to the letter O in the name and by placing emphasis on the concept using the figure of a hummingbird hovering above the logo design itself. The obvious path in creating a logo design is more often than not the wrong route and in this case, the design ended up not being about the flower but alternately laid the focus on the perception that they wanted to forecast to their customers.

Arabian horse logo layout developed for a horse ranch that concentrates on breeding Arabian show horses.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

ImageCo developed a distinct brand concept tailored to display the unique physical traits of the Arabian breed of horses. With an identifiable head shape and higher tail carriage, the Arabian is one of the very most immediately recognizable horse types in the whole world.

Las Cafe logo layout a tiny dining establishment, layout includes a customized script font style which floats above a team of ornate lines and also dots.

Logo layout for a software designer the style features and also iconic aspect of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the principal component of an operating system (OS). Generally, the kernel is responsible for memory management, process and task management, and drive operations. The kernel attaches the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that serves as a bridge in between the software and hardware.

The business logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a couple of miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to describe anything to anyone with regards to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. But it symbolized something to the business owner of the business and in quite a few cases the meaning supporting a logo is equally as important as how it serves the business it represents.

Advanced Leadership Solutions | Logo Design | Website Design

This particular Prichard, Alabama logo design job was completed for a management advisor that enables business professionals to become more successful at supervising people, expectations, and productivity.
A logo style including an angler in the middle of the name casting a fly towards the viewer.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brand names like Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year selling supplies and equipment to outdoor sporting fans the founders of On the Fly knew the market place was prepared for an outdoor sporting retailer that functions as a consignment business. Whether or not you are into boating, fishing or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a venue for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all kinds of passions, a place to sell off their pre-owned equipment to other sports enthusiasts. I created their Prichard business logo dsign utilizing an image that captures the interest of vehicles and sends an image that calls to mind the passion of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages 45 mph I realized it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the illustration of a fly fisherman in his natural and relaxed habitat.
Logo style MQ ranches, this logo design has actually a field integrated into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms custom logo concept wasn’t really created for an Prichard, Alabama area farm it was in reality developed for a products broker, and this particular business logo was one of multiple which fell underneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The objective was really to produce a graphic that projects assurance, financial success, and affluence.

Prichard Logo design for a not-for-profit, Transforming Point Solutions - the logo layout attribute for outwardly dealing with arrow and the arrowheads indicate that it is a ruby shape.

Turning Point Foundation | Logo Design

The Turning Point Foundation was completely open to what type of logo design they would like, that can be a good thing or a bad thing. Good in that it gives a designer the liberty to explore any idea that comes to mind, bad in that it’s challenging to hit a bullseye in the absence of understanding where the target is. Thankfully, in this particular case, I struck a bullseye with the very first shot.

Logo developed for using an indication for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is a luxuriant script font style that is reminiscent of a well-known sports team logo.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I have crafted quite a lot of restaurant logo designs and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the United States, from cupcake bakeries to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I believe Brewgrrs was my favorite. Brewgrrs was a cool undertaking where I worked closely with the business owner to design a business logo which worked very well and did a great job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the illuminated sign that hung over their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
