San Tan Valley, Arizona Logo Design

Each and every new San Tan Valley organization knows they require a logo, but few new business owners entirely recognize the crucial role their company logo can play in their financial success, or exactly why one business logo works more effectively than another. A logo has an immediate and long term influence on the success of a company, pick the right one and it can make the door swing and phone ring, go with the incorrect one and it will be a barrier and an impediment for the life span of a company.

The logos presented in the ImageCo portfolio help San Tan Valley, Arizona companies prosper, they are effective in any given scenario and the main reason they are so effective is that they all have these five features in common.

  1. Simplicity: simple logo designs do not require consideration, they can be grasped in merely a glance.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to billboards a scalable business logo will continue to be legible and just as emotive at virtually any scale.
  3. Versatility: logos that work on any device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are personal, and they are suitable for the enterprise they stand for.
  5. Relevance: a logo must be lasting and will feel relevant today, tomorrow, and 20 years from now.

Logo PORTFOLIO Volume 1

Retro logo design of a bike produced for a San Tan Valley, Arizona coffee cafe as well as a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This startup coffee roaster and bistro were opening in an older section of the community and really wanted to project an old-fashioned tone without appearing as uninteresting or low energy. I fulfilled the two tasks by creating a logo concept that incorporates a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, high energy, and is a enduring business image.

medical logo design with a microscopic lense slide and bacteria created for San Tan Valley, Arizona medical clinic.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the scientific discipline that investigates the causes and effects of diseases, mainly the field of healthcare that deals with the laboratory assessment of specimens of body tissue for diagnostic or forensic intents.

The Mid-Valley Pathology custom logo design I came up with is really the sole instance I call to mind in which I was in a position to integrate a bacteria-laden microscope slide within a business logo design.

Generally I try not to be overly literal with a concept and to a point, this design approaches the company it serves quite literally, yet it does it in a way that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an explanation of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancer to the brand that helps make it more intriguing, more attention grabbing and a lot more meaningful.

logo layout with a leaping green frog made for a household enjoyable center in San Tan Valley, Arizona.

Cool Springs | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really fun project to work on, probably because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the norm of the kinds of jobs which come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for medical professionals, dental practices, and attorneys but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park which I have ever gotten the privilege to work on.

Given that the name of the company has the word springz in its name the clear choice would have been to integrate a couple springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun destination to go and spring does not actually resonate an atmosphere of fun does it. My thought process on this logo design project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, in the end I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the name itself to give the logo a more dynamic high energy feeling.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my design and named the frog Jax and included him in to everything they used for marketing. I also think this is the only time that a logo I designed was turned into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fabricated to look just like my frog design.

photography logo design featuring a group of birds, a mountain, a path, a stream, and also a tree - made for San Tan Valley, Arizona traveling photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo design project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a pretty specialized field of photography and I think it is a niche profession due to the fact that travel photographers tend not to capture locations or things but instead reveal emotional journeys by means of the photos they record. The idea behind this logo design was to utilize negative space to convey more than what was visible upon initial glance, which I think is quintessential of most good photographers in that they often convey whole stories through their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey a lot more than that because their photos frequently have an emotional resonance which can’t be conveyed with mere words. I tried to do something comparable to this logo by making use of the positive space in the design to voice one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was communicated through the first impression. I think, in looking back, that my objective was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  San Tan Valley logo but also to illustrate the depth to her work and in the way that she perceives the world through the lens of her camera.

San Tan Valley logo design with a seagull utilized for the letter A. Designed for a cordless retail service.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The lion’s share of logo design projects that I take on I genuinely savor and the Coastal Wireless design was one that I really felt good about, but the customer didn’t quite share my excitement for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull silhouette as a stroke in the letter A but my client, even though he loved the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This particular guy truly loathed seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, thankfully the rest of his family did not share his aversion for this specific breed of sea bird.

When I turn a concept over to a customer I encourage them to discuss it with friends and colleagues and family members as well as with people that they don’t even know so as to get impartial assessments on the benefit of a design. Fortunately, he discussed it with his whole family and they loved the design and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to incorporate every other seabird he could think of … ultimately I was able to talk him out of his preference of a pelican and he proceeded with the original design.

Custom logo designs are a weird animal in the design world because the people that are inclined to hire an expert to create their logo recognize how crucial a logo is for their organization so they are much more vested in the final result. Every logo design job has it’s share of hurdles, however the largest challenge is finding that sweet spot in a design that functions really well at the job it’s needed to do in branding a business and also providing the client the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo design with bamboo behind-the-scenes, layout for San Tan Valley, Arizona publication publisher

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a thin parcel of real estate to work with, yet it really is the most vital part of a printed book due to the fact that it is ordinarily the initial thing a person sees in the book shop. With regard to a publisher, it’s the optimal opportunity that they will likely ever get to promote their product and get their logo design in front of the people that purchase actual books.

This three color design is vibrant, picturesque and eye-catching and it gives plenty of space for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo designed for an airline company in Los Angeles, the logo has two letter A's with benches modified to indicate they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines come and go yet it seems that in many occurrences one of the traits individuals often tend to remember the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a smaller new venture commuter/shuttle airline located in LA and while I’m not certain it actually “took off” their logo design didn’t ground them. The bookend A’s in their brand lent itself well to imparting a sense of flight and it was undoubtedly a victory.

San Tan Valley logo design made use of for advertising and marketing and a label design for Vintage Situation features an old-fashioned font style.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in brand new cases for music instruments, which appeared to be antique cases. For this logo design I tried to come up with a logo that had a fluid vintage feel to it and could easily be utilized for everything from a web page to a label on brand new cases that looked like they were from another point in time.

Logo design created for an orthodontist in San Tan Valley, Arizona, design include an arc with lines converging with it to suggest metal braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental care business logos can be one of the most challenging logo projects considering that it seems that every single dentist features a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dentistry logos are one of the most cliche ridden careers when it comes to business advertising, if restaurants approached their advertising in the exact same way dental offices do every one of their logo designs would be a picture explaining anything they served, McDonalds would probably have a picture of a potato and a cow.

I understand the thinking behind incorporating an illustration of something mouth associated to a dentist’s company logo but it has to be done subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental care industry.

I really love doing dental business logos because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a particular field of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the stereotypical solution that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics delivered such an opportunity and subsequently I created a design that does not have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t overt, they are still suggested in the design. When I turned this concept over to the client the only smile that was obvious was really the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo designed for a family nonprofit, the logo design includes 4 personalities staggered in height to represent a family unit with in the layout.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation contacted ImageCo to help them come up with a logo that would be representative of the devotion that William McNally had for the residents in his city. The majority of logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain images of a happy family, a cliche heavy method to any logo design is to be very literal about what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve found that the best designs are the ones that are downplayed and never hit the viewer on the head with what the business or institution wishes to project.

The McNally Foundation’s name presented a unique opportunity to do a custom logo design that communicated that they were about families without being openly corny about it. The goal of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer attempts to use the logo design to describe precisely how people ought to think or feel they don’t understand the objective of a logo. If you have to consider a logo design to understand what it means, it has failed, a logo needs to be immediately understood and a logo that describes itself will never have the chance to be understood.

Logo layout created for a hair design studio featuring a script font a hummingbird and an implied orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios required a logo which projected a spirit of contentment and connection for their new hair studio. I came up with a concept that didn’t go the obvious direction of crafting merely a stylized orchid but rather created a logo that suggested an orchid in the pattern of a swirl blended in to the letter O in the name and by putting attention on the concept using the figure of a hummingbird floating above the logo design itself. The obvious path in designing a logo is frequently the incorrect direction and in this case, the design ended up not being about the flower but alternately placed the focus on the emotion that they wanted to forecast to their clients.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

Logo layout for a software programmer the design features and also famous element of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the central component of an operating system (OS). Generally, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task management, and hard drive management. The kernel unites the computer hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that operates as a connection between the software program and computer hardware.

The business logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is located a number of miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to spell out anything to anyone regarding to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. But it intimated something to the owner of the business and in many cases the meaning behind a company logo is equally as important as how it brands the enterprise it stands for.

A logo layout featuring an angler in the middle of the name casting a fly towards the visitor.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brands such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in over 7 billion a year offering goods and equipment to outdoor sporting fans the owners of On the Fly recognized the market was ready for an outdoor sporting store that functions as a consignment firm. Whether or not you are into boating, angling or mountain climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a location for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all sorts of passions, a spot to market their used items to other sports enthusiasts. I tailored their San Tan Valley business logo dsign with an illustration which captures the interest of traffic and projects an image that arouses the enthusiasm of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages forty five mph I knew it would take more than the average logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the picture of a fly fisherman in his natural and tranquil habitat.
Logo design MQ farms, this logo design has actually an area integrated into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms business logo concept wasn’t actually composed for an San Tan Valley, Arizona area farm it was in reality created for a products broker, and this brand was one of many that fell beneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The goal was actually to create a brand mark that projects trust, effectiveness, and wealth.

San Tan Valley Logo design for a not-for-profit, Turning Factor Solutions - the logo layout function for externally encountering arrowhead as well as the arrowheads suggest that it is a ruby shape.

Turning Point Foundation | Logo Design

The Turning Point Foundation was totally open to what kind of logo design they desired, that can be a good thing or a bad thing. Good in that it offers a designer the opportunity to delve into any concept that comes to mind, bad in that it’s hard to hit a bullseye in the absence of understanding where the target is. Luckily, in this case, I struck a bullseye with the 1st shot.

Logo design designed for using a sign for the restaurant (Brewgrrs), it is a luxuriant script font style that is similar to a well-known sports team logo design.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I have crafted dozens of restaurant logos and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the United States, from cupcake pastry shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a great project in which I worked directly with the business owner to design a business logo which worked really well and did a fantastic job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the neon sign which hung over their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
