Sierra Vista, Arizona Logo Design

Virtually every new Sierra Vista venture understands that they need a logo, but few entrepreneurs entirely comprehend the key role their logo design can perform in their financial success, or exactly why one business logo performs better than another. A company logo has a critical and long-term influence on the financial success of a company, pick the right one and it will make the door swing and phone ring, choose the incorrect one and it will be an obstacle and an impediment for the longevity of a company.

The logos included in the ImageCo portfolio help Sierra Vista, Arizona businesses prosper, they are effective in any given circumstance and the reason they are so effective is that they all have these 5 traits in common.

  1. Simplicity: simple logos do not require consideration, they can be comprehended in merely a glimpse.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to posters a scalable business logo will be legible and equally emotive at any size.
  3. Versatility: logos that function on any type of device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball-cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are personal, and they are suitable for the business they stand for.
  5. Relevance: a business logo must be enduring and will feel relevant today, tomorrow, and 20 years from now.

Logo PORTFOLIO Volume 1

Retro logo design of a bike created for a Sierra Vista, Arizona coffee cafe and also a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This fledgling coffee roaster and coffee shop were opening up in an old section of town and wanted to visualize a retro feel without coming across as monotonous or low energy. I fulfilled the two jobs by means of designing a logo concept that features a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, higher energy, and is a enduring business image.

medical logo layout with a microscopic lense slide as well as germs developed for Sierra Vista, Arizona clinical center.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the scientific discipline that analyzes the triggers and effects of diseases, mainly the branch of medicine which deals with the laboratory evaluation of samples of body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic intents.

The Mid-Valley Pathology logo design I came up with is the only instance I recollect where I was in a position to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide into a business logo design.

Usually I try not to be extremely literal with a concept and to a degree, this design approaches the company it serves fairly literally, however it does it in a way that incorporates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as a description of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancer to the brand that makes it more captivating, more attention grabbing and much more meaningful.

logo layout with a leaping environment-friendly frog designed for a household enjoyable facility in Sierra Vista, Arizona.

Cool Springs | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a very cool project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the usual of the sorts of jobs which come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for medical professionals, dental professionals, and lawyers but Cool Springz is without question the one and only trampoline park that I have ever gotten the privilege to work on.

Given that the title of the business has the word springz in its name the apparent choice would have been to feature a handful of springs into the concept but Cool Springz is a fun location to go and spring does not really resonate an atmosphere of fun does it. My thought process on this logo design project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, in the end I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to give the logo a more dynamic high energy impression.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my concept and named the frog Jax and included him in to everything they utilized for marketing and advertising. I also believe this is the only time that a logo I came up with was transformed into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fashioned to look just like my frog design.

digital photography logo including a group of birds, a mountain, a trail, a stream, and also a tree - made for Sierra Vista, Arizona travel photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a pretty niche field of photography and I believe it is a niche area because travel photographers tend not to capture locations or things but instead communicate emotional experiences through the pictures they record. The idea behind this logo concept was to use negative space to reveal more than what was visible upon first view, which I think is representative of almost all professional photographers in that they oftentimes share whole stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words but I think that some photographs convey a lot more than that because their photos often have an emotional resonance which can’t be conveyed with just words. I tried to do something comparable to this logo by employing the positive space in the design to say one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was communicated through the first impression. I think, in looking back, that my objective was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Sierra Vista logo but also to reveal the depth to her art and in the way that she views the world through the lens of her camera.

Sierra Vista logo design with a seagull used for the letter A. Designed for a cordless retail organisation.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The lion’s share of business logo design projects that I take on I really savor and the Coastal Wireless project was one that I really felt good about, however the client didn’t quite share my excitement for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull form as a stroke in the character A however the client, while he liked the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This particular man seriously hated seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, fortunately the rest of his family members did not share his contempt for this particular variety of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a customer I urge them to talk about it with friends and colleagues and family members as well as with people that they don’t actually know so as to get objective assessments on the value of a design. Fortunately, he shared it with his family and they really liked the design and were able to persuade him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to insert every other seabird he could think of … eventually I was able to talk him out of his alternative of a pelican and he went with the original concept.

Logos are a strange creature in the design world given that the people that have a tendency to hire a professional to design their business logo comprehend how crucial a logo design is for their company so they are much more invested in the outcome. Every logo job possesses it’s allotment of challenges, however the most significant challenge is finding that sweet spot in a design that operates really well at the job it’s needed to do in branding a company and also providing the client the image they see for themselves.

a red panda logo style with bamboo in the background, layout for Sierra Vista, Arizona book publisher

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a narrow slice of real estate to work with, nevertheless it really is the most essential part of a printed book given that it is ordinarily the first thing a person sees in the bookstore. Regarding a publishing company, it’s the opportunity they will ever have to advertise their brand and get their logo design in front of the people that purchase actual books.

This 3 color design is vibrant, colorful and eye-catching and it leaves plenty of room for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design created for an airline company in Los Angeles, the logo has 2 letter A's with benches changed to imply they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and depart yet it looks like that in many cases one of the things people tend to recall the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a small start-up commuter/shuttle airline company situated in LA and while I’m not certain it actually “took off” their organization logo didn’t ground them. The bookend A’s in their name lent itself well to confering a good sense of flight and it was definitely a success.

Sierra Vista logo design used for marketing and a tag design for Vintage Instance includes an archaic font style layout.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case focused in brand new cases for musical instruments, which looked to be much older cases. For this brand design I attempted to come up with a logo that possessed a fluid old-fashioned feel to it and could easily be utilized for every thing from a website to a label on brand new cases that seemed like they were from a different point in time.

Logo design developed for an orthodontist in Sierra Vista, Arizona, layout include an arc with lines intersecting through it to imply metal dental braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental logos can be one of the most challenging and difficult logo jobs considering that it appears that each and every dental professional incorporates a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental logos are one of the most cliche ridden careers when it comes to business advertising, if dining establishments approached their advertising in the same way dental practices do every one of their logos would definitely be a picture explaining anything they served, McDonalds would likely have a picture of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind incorporating an illustration of something mouth related to a dentist’s company logo but it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dentistry profession.

I really really love doing dentistry business logos simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies the field of dentistry or a specific area of the field of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the stereotypical solution that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics provided such an opportunity and eventually I created a concept that doesn’t have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t overt, they are still suggested in the design. When I turned this concept over to the client the only smile that was apparent was really the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo designed for a family members nonprofit, the logo design features 4 personalities staggered in elevation to represent a family with in the style.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation contacted ImageCo to help them come up with a custom logo design that would be representative of the love that William McNally had for the people residing in his city. Most logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain images of a happy family, a cliche heavy technique to any logo design is to be very literal pertaining to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best concepts are the ones that are understated and don’t hit the viewer on the head with what the business or institution hopes to convey.

The McNally Foundation’s name presented a unique opportunity to do a custom logo design that conveyed that they were about families without being overtly tacky about it. The aim of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer attempts to use the logo design to summarize specifically how individuals ought to think or feel they don’t understand the purpose of a logo. If people have to think about a logo to understand what it means, it has fallen short, a logo needs to be instantly comprehended and a logo that illustrates itself won’t have the opportunity to be comprehended.

Logo layout created for a hair style workshop including a manuscript font a hummingbird and an indicated orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios needed a company logo that conveyed an atmosphere of ease and elegance for their new hair salon. I came up with a concept that didn’t go the obvious route of crafting merely a stylized orchid but rather designed a business logo which suggested an orchid in the pattern of a swirl featured into the letter O in the name and by placing attention on the concept along with the silhouette of a hummingbird hovering above the logo itself. The obvious path in creating a logo is oftentimes the incorrect course and in this case, the design ended up not being about the flower but instead placed the emphasis on the feeling that they wanted to forecast to their customers.

Arabian horse logo style developed for a horse ranch that focuses on reproducing Arabian program horses.

Logo design for a software developer the design functions and also famous aspect of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the key component of an operating system (OS). Generally, the kernel is responsible for memory management, process and task management, and disk managing. The kernel attaches the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that acts as a bridge between the software and hardware.

The logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a number of miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to spell out anything to anyone regarding to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. Nevertheless it meant something to the business owner of the company and in quite a few cases the significance supporting a logo design is equally as important as how it brands the enterprise it represents.

A logo layout including an angler in the middle of the name casting a fly in the direction of the visitor.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brand names such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in over 7 billion a year offering goods and equipment to outdoor sporting fans the founders of On the Fly understood the market was primed for an outdoor sporting merchant that functions as a consignment firm. Whether or not you are into boating, sportfishing or mountain climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly presents a place for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all types of passions, a location to market their previously owned items to other sports enthusiasts. I designed their Sierra Vista logo dsign using an illustration which seizes the attention of traffic and projects an image that calls to mind the passion of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages forty five mph I knew it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the graphic of a fly fisherman in his natural and serene habitat.
Logo layout MQ farms, this logo style has an area included into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms brand idea wasn’t really produced for an Sierra Vista, Arizona area farm it was actually created for a products broker, and this creative logo was one of a handful of which fell under the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The end goal was actually to design a brand mark that projects assurance, success, and prosperity.

Sierra Vista Logo design for a nonprofit, Transforming Factor Solutions - the logo design function for outwardly dealing with arrowhead and also the arrowheads suggest that it is a ruby shape.

Turning Point Foundation | Logo Design

The Turning Point Foundation was completely open to what kind of logo design they wanted, that can be a good thing or a bad thing. Good in that it provides a designer the flexibility to investigate any concept that comes to mind, bad in that it’s tricky to hit a bullseye in the absence of realizing where exactly the target is. Fortunately, in this particular case, I struck a bullseye with the very first go.

Logo developed for making use of an indication for the restaurant (Brewgrrs), it is an ornate script font that is reminiscent of a well-known sporting activities group logo design.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve designed dozens of restaurant logo designs and business signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the United States, from cupcake bake shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a neat undertaking where I worked closely with the owner to produce a logo that worked very well and did a fantastic job to brand them, it functioned on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the neon sign which hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very legible from over a block away.
