Benton, Arkansas Logo Design

Every new Benton business realizes that they are in need of a logo, yet few new business owners thoroughly realize the vital role their organization logo can take in their financial success, or exactly why one logo design functions more effectively than another. A company logo has a critical and long-term influence on the prosperity of a company, choose the right one and it can make the door swing and cash register ring, select the incorrect one and it can be a barrier and a hindrance for the life span of a company.

The logos included in the ImageCo portfolio help Benton, Arkansas companies succeed, they are effective in any given scenario and the reason they are so effective is because they all have these five traits in common.

  1. Simplicity: simple logo designs do not require scrutiny, they can be realized in merely a look.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to posters a scalable business logo will stay legible and just as emotive at virtually any scale.
  3. Versatility: logos that work on any type of device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are personal, and they are suitable for the organization they represent.
  5. Relevance: a business logo needs to be ageless and should feel relevant today, tomorrow, and thirty years from today.

Logo PORTFOLIO Volume 1

Retro logo style of a bicycle created for a Benton, Arkansas coffee cafe as well as a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This fledgling coffee roaster and coffeehouse were actually opening up in an old part of the area and wanted to cast a retro feel without coming across as uninteresting or low energy. I achieved both tasks by means of creating a business logo concept that features a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is antiquated, high energy, and is a ageless business image.

medical logo layout with a microscopic lense slide and also germs made for Benton, Arkansas medical facility.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science which studies the triggers and outcomes of diseases, mainly the field of healthcare that works with the laboratory examination of samples of human body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic purposes.

The Mid-Valley Pathology brand I came up with is the sole instance I remember where I was able to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide within a business logo design.

Usually I try not to be excessively literal with a concept and to a degree, this specific design approaches the company it represents quite literally, but it does it in a way that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an explanation of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancer to the brand that helps make it more intriguing, more focus grabbing and much more unforgettable.

logo layout with a jumping environment-friendly frog created for a household enjoyable center in Benton, Arkansas.

Cool Springs | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really cool project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the usual of the types of jobs which come my way, I’ve produced dozens of logo designs for medical professionals, dental professionals, and attorneys but Cool Springz is without question the one and only trampoline park that I have actually ever had the privilege to work on.

Given that the title of the business features the word springz in its name the apparent choice would have been to include a few springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun place to go and spring does not actually reflect an atmosphere of fun does it. My thought process on this logo design project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, inevitably I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the name itself to give the logo a better dynamic high energy feel.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my concept and named the frog Jax and featured him in to everything they used for promotion and marketing. I also think this is the only time that a logo I created was transformed into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fashioned to look exactly like my frog design.

photography logo design including a flock of birds, a hill, a trail, a stream, and a tree - made for Benton, Arkansas traveling photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a custom logo design job I took on for a travel photographer, which is a pretty specialized field of photography and I believe it is a niche profession due to the fact that travel photographers tend not to shoot places or things but rather communicate emotional journeys by means of the pictures they capture. The thought behind this logo composition was to use negative space to communicate more than what was visible upon first glance, which I think is quintessential of the majority of professional photographers in that they oftentimes convey whole stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey a lot more than that because their photos often have an emotional fullness that can’t be communicated with mere words. I attempted to do something comparable to this logo design by using the positive space in the design to suggest one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in looking back, that my objective was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Benton logo but also to show the depth in her work and in the way that she perceives the world through the lens of her camera.

Benton logo style with a seagull made use of for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail company.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The majority of custom logo design projects that I take on I really savor and the Coastal Wireless project was one that I certainly felt good about, however the customer didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull silhouette as a stroke in the letter A however my client, while he loved the concept, really did not care for my choice of birds. This particular guy genuinely despised seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, fortunately the rest of his friends and family did not share his contempt for this specific type of sea bird.

When I turn a concept over to a client I urge them to share it with friends and family members as well as with people that they don’t even know so as to get impartial assessments on the worthiness of a concept. Fortunately, he shared it with his family and they adored the concept and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to include every other seabird he could think of … ultimately I was able to talk him out of his preference of a pelican and he went with the original concept.

Logo designs are a strange animal in the design world given that the people that have a tendency to hire an expert to create their business logo recognize how crucial a logo design is for their organization so they are much more vested in the result. Every logo project has it’s portion of challenges, however the biggest obstacle is finding that sweet spot in a design that operates really well at the job it’s required to do in branding a company and also giving the client the image they see for themselves.

a red panda logo style with bamboo behind-the-scenes, layout for Benton, Arkansas publication publisher

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a thin slice of real estate to work with, nevertheless it is the most necessary part of a published book since it is often the primary thing a person sees in the book shop. Regarding a publisher, it’s the opportunity they will ever get to advertise their label and get their logo design in front of the men and women that shop for actual books.

This 3 color design is vivid, picturesque and eye-catching and it leaves plenty of territory for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo developed for an airline company in Los Angeles, the logo design has 2 letter A's with benches changed to indicate they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines come and go yet it looks like that in many cases 1 of the traits consumers often tend to recollect the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a modest start-up commuter/shuttle air service located in LA and although I’m not certain it actually “took off” their custom logo didn’t ground them. The bookend A’s in their title lent itself well to confering a feeling of air travel and it was certainly a winner.

Benton logo layout made use of for advertising and marketing as well as a label design for Vintage Situation includes an old-fashioned font layout.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in new cases for music instruments, which appeared to be vintage cases. For this custom logo concept I tried to come up with a logo that provided a fluid nostalgic feel to it and could easily be utilized for everything from a website to an insignia on brand new cases that looked like they were from another era.

Logo design produced for an orthodontist in Benton, Arkansas, style consist of an arc with lines intersecting with it to suggest metal dental braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dentistry logos can easily be one of the most challenging logo design projects due to the fact that it appears that virtually every dental professional incorporates a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dentistry business logos are one of the most cliche ridden professions when it comes to company marketing, if dining establishments approached their advertising in the very same way dental professionals do every one of their logos would definitely be a picture trying to explain something they served, McDonalds would probably contain a picture of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind adding a likeness of something mouth related to a dentist’s company logo nevertheless it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dental professionals logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental care industry.

I actually enjoy doing dental logo designs because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a particular field of dental treatment like orthodontics without resorting to the stereotypical solution that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics provided such an opportunity and eventually I created a design that doesn’t have a single smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still suggested in the design. When I turned this particular concept over to the client the only smile that was evident was really the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo design developed for a family members nonprofit, the logo features 4 characters staggered in elevation to represent a family with in the layout.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation contacted ImageCo to help them come up with a brand identity design that would be illustrative of the love that William McNally had for the families in his city. Most logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain images of a happy family, a cliche heavy approach to any logo design is to be overly literal pertaining to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best designs are the ones that are understated and never hit the viewer on the head with what the company or organization wishes to convey.

The McNally Foundation’s name provided a distinct opportunity to do a logo design that communicated that they were about families without being overtly corny about it. The objective of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer attempts to use the logo to illustrate specifically how people should think or feel they don’t understand the goal of a logo. If viewers have to consider a logo design to understand what it means, it has fallen short, a logo needs to be immediately comprehended and a logo design that describes itself will never have the opportunity to be understood.

Logo layout produced for a hair layout workshop including a script font a hummingbird and a suggested orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios wanted a company logo which conveyed a spirit of calmness and connection for their new hair studio. I created a design that didn’t go the obvious route of creating merely a stylized orchid but alternatively crafted a logo design which suggested an orchid in the pattern of a swirl integrated in to the letter O in the name and by putting emphasis on the logo design with the figure of a hummingbird hovering over the logo itself. The obvious path in creating a logo design is generally the incorrect route and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but instead laid the attention on the perception that they really wanted to project to their patrons.

Arabian horse logo layout developed for a horse cattle ranch that concentrates on reproducing Arabian show equines.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

ImageCo created a one-of-a-kind logotype concept styled to symbolize the unique physical traits of the Arabian kind of horses. By having an identifiable head shape and high tail posture, the Arabian is one of the highly quite easily recognizable equine lineages in the whole world.

Las Cafe logo style a small dining establishment, design includes a customized manuscript font style which hovers above a group of luxuriant lines as well as dots.

Las Cafe | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

Las Cafe logo style a small restaurant, layout consists of a changed script font which floats above a group of ornate lines as well as dots.

Logo style for a software program programmer the layout functions and also renowned element of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the central component of an operating system (OS). Generally, the kernel is responsible for memory management, process and task management, and drive managing. The kernel unites the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that functions as a connection in between the software and computer hardware.

The logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is located a couple of miles from the offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to point out anything to anyone regarding what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However it represented something to the owner of the business and in quite a few cases the significance behind a company logo is just as important as how it serves the enterprise it stands for.

A logo design including a fisherman in the center of the name casting a fly in the direction of the audience.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brand names like Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year offering goods and equipment to outdoor sporting lovers the owners of On the Fly knew the market was ready for an outdoor sporting merchant that functions as a consignment firm. Whether or not you are into boating, angling or mountain climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a place for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all types of interests, a location to market their used equipment to other sports enthusiasts. I designed their Benton logo dsign using an image that garners the interest of vehicles and projects an image that invokes the enthusiasm of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages 45 mph I realized it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the illustration of a fly fisherman in his natural and relaxed habitat.
Logo style MQ farms, this logo design has a field incorporated into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms brand design wasn’t actually produced for an Benton, Arkansas area farm it was really developed for a commodities broker, and this particular brand was one of several that fell under the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The aim was actually to make a image that projected trust, financial success, and wealth.

Benton Logo design for a not-for-profit, Transforming Point Solutions - the logo design feature for ostensibly encountering arrowhead as well as the arrowheads suggest that it is a ruby shape.

Turning Point Foundation | Logo Design

The Turning Point Foundation was totally open to what kind of logo design that they desired, this can be a good thing or a bad thing. Good in that it gives a designer the freedom to explore any concept that comes to mind, bad in that it’s difficult to hit a bullseye without knowing where exactly the target is. Luckily, in this case, I hit a bullseye with the first try.

Logo designed for making use of a sign for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is an ornate manuscript font that is similar to a famous sports group logo design.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I have created dozens of restaurant business logos and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the USA, from cupcake bake shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a neat undertaking in which I worked closely with the owner to produce a logo which worked very well and did a great job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the illuminated sign that hung over their doors, and was highly visible and very legible from over a block away.
