North Little Rock Logo Design

Every new North Little Rock business understands that they require a logo, but few entrepreneurs entirely comprehend the crucial role their company logo can play in their becoming successful, or precisely why one logo design functions better than another. A company logo has an immediate and long-term influence on the prosperity of a business, go with the correct one and it can make the door swing and phone ring, choose the wrong one and it will be an obstacle and an impediment for the longevity of a business. The logos included in the ImageCo portfolio help North Little Rock companies succeed, they are effective in any given scenario and the reason they are so effective is because they all have these 5 things in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logos do not require scrutiny, they can be comprehended in just a glance.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to posters a scalable business logo will remain legible and equally emotive at every scale.
  3. Versatility: logos that function on any type of device, in print, on product packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are unique, and they are suitable for the organization they stand for.
  5. Relevance: a business logo must be enduring and should feel relevant today, tomorrow, and 20 years from now.

Retro logo design of a bike produced for a North Little Rock coffee cafe and a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This fledgling coffee roaster and coffeehouse were opening in an old section of the city and wanted to visualize a vintage vibe without coming across as stodgy or low energy. I fulfilled both tasks by means of designing a trademark design that includes a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, high energy, and is a timeless business image.

clinical logo design with a microscope slide and bacteria developed for North Little Rock medical clinic.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science that analyzes the causes and outcomes of diseases, especially the branch of healthcare that works with the laboratory assessment of specimens of human body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic objectives.

The Mid-Valley Pathology logo I came up with is really the only instance I recall where I was able to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide right into a business logo design.

Generally I try not to be extremely literal with a concept and to a point, this design approaches the company it serves quite literally, but it does it in a way that incorporates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an illustration of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancer to the brand that makes it more interesting, more attention grabbing and more memorable.

logo style with a leaping environment-friendly frog created for a family members fun center in North Little Rock.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really cool project to work on, probably because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the usual of the kinds of jobs that come my way, I’ve produced dozens of logo designs for health care providers, dental professionals, and attorneys but Cool Springz is without question the one and only trampoline park that I have ever had the privilege to work on.

Given that the title of the company features the word springz in its name the obvious choice would have been to include a couple springs into the concept but Cool Springz is a fun location to go and spring doesn’t actually resonate an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this logo design project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, eventually I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the name itself to provide the logo a much more lively high energy feeling.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my design and named the frog Jax and integrated him in to everything they used for marketing. I also think this is the only time that a logo I designed was transformed into a mascot when they had an employee costume fabricated to look exactly like my frog design.

digital photography logo featuring a flock of birds, a hill, a path, a stream, as well as a tree - designed for North Little Rock travel photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo job I took on for a travel photographer, which is a rather specialized field of photography and I think it is a niche area due to the fact that travel photographers don’t shoot places or things but instead communicate emotional experiences through the images they record. The thought behind this logo design was to make use of negative space to project more than what was visible upon first view, which I think is quintessential of the majority of professional photographers in that they oftentimes share entire stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words but I think that some photographs convey a lot more than that because their photos frequently have an emotional fullness that can’t be conveyed with mere words. I attempted to do something much the same to this logo by employing the positive space in the design to suggest one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was communicated through the first impression. I think, in looking back, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  North Little Rock logo but also to show the depth to her work and in the way that she perceives the world through the lens of her camera.

North Little Rock logo style with a seagull used for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail organisation.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The majority of logo design jobs that I take on I honestly savor and the Coastal Wireless assignment was one that I really felt good about, but the customer didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull form as a stroke in the letter A however my customer, while he liked the concept, really did not care for my choice of birds. This man really loathed seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, luckily the rest of his family members did not share his aversion for this specific breed of sea bird.

When I turn a concept over to a client I encourage all of them to share it with friends and colleagues and family members as well as with folks that they don’t actually know so as to get honest opinions on the benefit of a concept. Fortunately, he shared it with his whole family and they loved the concept and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to include every other seabird he could think of … ultimately I was able to talk him out of his alternative of a pelican and he proceeded with the original design.

Logos are a weird creature in the design world given that the people that are inclined to hire a professional to create their business logo realize how crucial a logo is for their company so they are way more invested in the end result. Every logo job has it’s share of challenges, but the most significant obstacle is finding that sweet spot in a design that works really well at the job it’s required to do in branding a company and also giving the client the image they see for themselves.

a red panda logo layout with bamboo in the background, design for North Little Rock publication publisher

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a thin segment of real estate to work with, yet it really is the most necessary part of a published book because it is often the very first thing a person views in the bookstore. Regarding a publisher, it’s the most ideal opportunity that they will likely ever have to publicize their label and get their logo design in front of the individuals that shop for actual books.

This three color design is vivid, picturesque and eye-catching and it gives plenty of room for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design created for an airline company in Los Angeles, the logo design has two letter A's with benches changed to suggest they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and depart nevertheless it looks like that in many cases one of the traits consumers tend to recollect the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a young new venture commuter/shuttle airline company based in LA and although I’m not certain it really “took off” their logo design didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their name lent itself well to conferring a spirit of airline flight and it was surely a victory.

North Little Rock logo style utilized for marketing as well as a tag design for Vintage Instance includes an old typeface design.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in brand-new cases for music instruments, that appeared to be much older cases. For this custom logo design I tried to come up with a logo that provided a fluid old-fashioned feel to it and could easily be utilized for every thing from a website to a label on brand new cases that appeared like they were from a different era.

Logo created for an orthodontist in North Little Rock, layout consist of an arc with lines converging with it to suggest steel braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dentistry logo designs can easily be one of the most challenging logo design projects considering that it seems that almost every dentist includes a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dentistry logos are one of the very most cliche ridden professions when it comes to company marketing, if restaurants approached their advertising in the same way dentists do every one of their logos would definitely be a picture explaining something they served, McDonalds would likely include a picture of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind including a likeness of something mouth related to a dentist’s logo design but it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dental professionals logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental care profession.

I really love doing dental care business logos simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies the field of dentistry or a certain area of the field of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the stereotypical approach that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics provided such an opportunity and subsequently I created a concept that does not have a single smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t overt, they are still implied in the concept. When I turned this particular concept over to the customer the only smile that was apparent was really the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo developed for a family nonprofit, the logo features 4 characters surprised in height to represent a family with in the design.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation contacted ImageCo to help them come up with a custom logo design that would be representative of the love that William McNally had for the people in his city. The majority of logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain depictions of a happy family, a cliche heavy strategy to any logo design is to be far too literal pertaining to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve found that the best concepts are the ones that are understated and don’t hit the viewer on the head with what the business or organization wishes to convey.

The McNally Foundation’s name presented a distinct opportunity to do a custom logo design that communicated that they were about families without being openly cheesy about it. The aim of a logo is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer makes an effort to use the logo to describe how individuals should think or feel they don’t understand the goal of a logo. If people have to think about a logo to understand what it means, it has been in vain, a logo needs to be instantly understood and a logo design that describes itself won’t have the chance to be comprehended.

Logo layout developed for a hair style studio including a script font a hummingbird as well as an implied orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios desired a company logo which conveyed a spirit of contentment and class for their new hair studio. I came up with a concept which did not go the obvious route of crafting just a stylized orchid but rather crafted a logo which suggested a flower in the pattern of a swirl integrated in to the letter O in the title and by placing emphasis on the concept using the silhouette of a hummingbird floating over the logo design itself. The obvious path in designing a logo design is oftentimes the wrong direction and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but instead laid the main focus on the perception that they really wanted to forecast to their patrons.

Logo design for a software program programmer the style functions as well as iconic aspect of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the principal part of an operating system (OS). Traditionally, the kernel is responsible for memory management, process and task control, and hard drive management. The kernel connects the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that serves as a bridge between the software and hardware.

The business logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a few miles from the offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to identify anything to anyone regarding to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. But it symbolized something to the owner of the company and in quite a few cases the substance supporting a company logo is just as important as how it brands the organization it stands for.

A logo design including an angler in the center of the name casting a fly in the direction of the viewer.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brands such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year selling goods and equipment to outdoor sporting lovers the founders of On the Fly understood the market place was prepared for an outdoor sporting retailer that operates as a consignment company. Whether you are into boating, angling or mountain climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a destination for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all kinds of interests, a spot to market their used equipment to other sports enthusiasts. I tailored their North Little Rock logo design dsign along with a graphic which grabs the interest of vehicles and sends an image that wakens the passion of the outdoors. With traffic that averages 45 miles per hour I realized it would take more than the average logo/sign to get commuters to take notice, hence the illustration of a fly fisherman in his natural and peaceful habitat.
Logo design MQ farms, this logo layout has actually a field included right into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms custom logo concept wasn’t really composed for an North Little Rock area farm it was in reality designed for a products broker, and this trademark was one of multiple that fell underneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The goal was actually to make a graphic that projected trust, success, and opulence.
Logo design created for using an indication for the restaurant (Brewgrrs), it is an elaborate manuscript font that is reminiscent of a popular sporting activities team logo design.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve designed loads of restaurant business logos and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the US, from cupcake bakeshops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I believe Brewgrrs was my favorite. Brewgrrs was a cool undertaking in which I worked directly with the proprietor to develop a logo design which worked extremely well and did a fantastic job to brand them, it functioned on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the illuminated sign which hung over their doors, and was highly visible and very legible from over a block away.
