Springdale Logo Design

Nearly every new Springdale organization understands that they require a logo, yet few entrepreneurs thoroughly grasp the pivotal role their business logo will play in their becoming successful, or exactly why one business logo functions better than another. A logo design has a critical and long-term influence on the success of a company, select the correct one and it will make the door swing and cash register ring, go with the wrong one and it can be an obstacle and an impediment for the life of an organization. The logos featured in the ImageCo portfolio help Springdale companies prosper, they are effective in any given circumstance and the reason why they are so effective is because they all have these 5 traits in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logos don’t demand scrutiny, they can be understood in just a look.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to signboards a scalable business logo will continue to be legible and just as emotive at virtually any size.
  3. Versatility: logos that operate on any type of device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are personal, and they are suitable for the enterprise they represent.
  5. Relevance: a logo needs to be ageless and will feel relevant today, tomorrow, and twenty years from now.

Retro logo style of a bicycle produced for a Springdale coffee cafe and also a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This start-up coffee roaster and cafe were actually opening in an older section of town and wished to cast a vintage tone without coming across as boring or low energy. I achieved both of these jobs by means of designing a trademark design that includes a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is antiquated, higher energy, and is a classic business image.

medical logo design with a microscope slide as well as germs created for Springdale clinical facility.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science which analyzes the causes and outcomes of diseases, mainly the branch of medicine that deals with the laboratory assessment of samples of human body tissue for diagnostic or forensic purposes.

The Mid-Valley Pathology custom logo design I came up with is really the only instance I recall in which I was able to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide into a logo design.

Generally I try not to be extremely literal with a design and to a point, this specific design approaches the company it represents fairly literally, yet it does it in a way that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an illustration of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the name that helps make it more intriguing, more interest grabbing and a lot more meaningful.

logo design with a leaping green frog developed for a household enjoyable facility in Springdale.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a very cool project to work on, probably because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s additionally a project that is way out of the norm of the sorts of jobs which come my way, I’ve produced dozens of logo designs for doctors, dental practices, and legal professionals but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park that I have ever gotten the opportunity to work on.

Given that the full name of the business has the word springz in its name the apparent choice would have been to include a few springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun destination to go and spring does not actually reflect an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this logo design project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, inevitably I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to provide the logo a better enthusiastic high energy feel.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my concept and named the frog Jax and incorporated him in to everything they used for advertising and marketing. I also think this is the only time that a logo I came up with was transformed into a mascot when they had an employee costume fashioned to look just like my frog design.

digital photography logo design including a flock of birds, a mountain, a trail, a stream, and also a tree - developed for Springdale travel photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo job I took on for a travel photographer, which is a rather niche field of photography and I think it is a niche area due to the fact that travel photographers don’t capture places or things but rather communicate emotional journeys by means of the photos they record. The thought behind this logo design was to use negative space to project more than what was visible upon first glance, which I think is representative of most good photographers in that they oftentimes convey whole stories through their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words but I think that some photographs convey a great deal more than that because their photos frequently have an emotional fullness which can’t be communicated with mere words. I tried to do something comparable to this logo design by using the positive space in the design to suggest one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Springdale logo design but also to illustrate the depth of her art and in the way that she views the world through the lens of her camera.

Springdale logo style with a seagull utilized for the letter A. Designed for a cordless retail service.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The lion’s share of custom logo design jobs that I take on I seriously relish and the Coastal Wireless assignment was one that I certainly felt good about, but the client didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the concept of using the seagull form as a stroke in the character A but my client, while he loved the concept, really did not care for my choice of birds. This guy seriously loathed seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, fortunately the rest of his family did not share his contempt for this particular type of sea bird.

When I turn a concept over to a customer I urge them to discuss it with colleagues and family as well as with individuals that they don’t actually know so as to get neutral opinions on the merit of a design concept. Fortunately, he discussed it with his whole family and they really loved the design and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to incorporate every other seabird he could think of … in the end I was able to talk him out of his preference of a pelican and he went with the original design.

Custom logo designs are a weird animal in the design world because the people that have a tendency to hire a professional to create their business logo understand how essential a logo design is for their company so they are much more vested in the outcome. Every logo design job has it’s share of hurdles, but the most significant challenge is finding that sweet spot in a design that operates really well at the task it’s required to do in branding a business and also providing the customer the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo design with bamboo in the background, style for Springdale publication publisher

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a narrow piece of real estate to work with, nevertheless it really is the most important part of a printed book because it is in most cases the primary thing a person views in the book store. Regarding a publisher, it’s the optimal opportunity that they will likely ever get to advertise their brand and get their logo design in front of the individuals that shop for actual books.

This 3 color design is vivid, colorful and eye-catching and it gives plenty of area for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design created for an airline company in Los Angeles, the logo design has two letter A's with the bars modified to imply they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines come and depart however it seems like that in many cases 1 of the items folks tend to recall the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a modest new venture commuter/shuttle airline company located in LA and although I’m not sure it really “took off” their custom logo didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their title lent itself well to imparting a spirit of airline flight and it was definitely a winner.

Springdale logo design made use of for advertising and marketing as well as a tag layout for Vintage Instance includes an antiquated font layout.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in brand-new cases for musical instruments, that looked to be older cases. For this custom logo concept I sought to come up with a logo that offered a fluid old style feel to it and could be utilized for every thing from a web page to an insignia on brand new cases that seemed like they were from a different point in time.

Logo created for an orthodontist in Springdale, layout include an arc with lines intersecting through it to indicate metal dental braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dentistry logo designs can easily be one of the most challenging logo jobs due to the fact that it appears that every single dentist involves a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dentistry business logos are one of the most cliche ridden careers when it comes to small business branding, if restaurants approached their branding in the exact same way dental offices do every one of their logo designs would definitely be a picture explaining anything they served, McDonalds would most likely contain a picture of a potato and a cow.

I understand the thinking behind adding an illustration of something mouth associated to a dentist’s company logo but it has to be done subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dental professionals logo that litter the branding landscape of the dentistry industry.

I really enjoy doing dentist business logos because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies the field of dentistry or a particular area of dental treatment like orthodontics without resorting to the stereotypical approach that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics delivered such an opportunity and inevitably I created a design that doesn’t have a single smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still suggested in the design. When I turned this particular design over to the customer the only smile that was apparent was actually the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo design designed for a household nonprofit, the logo includes 4 personalities surprised in height to stand for a family unit with in the style.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation asked ImageCo to help them come up with a brand identity design that would be illustrative of the love that William McNally had for the people in his community. Most logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain pictures of a happy family, a cliche heavy strategy to any logo design is to be far too literal about what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best concepts are the ones that are understated and don’t hit the viewer on the head with what the business or institution hopes to communicate.

The McNally Foundation’s name provided a distinct opportunity to do a logo which conveyed that they were about families without being overtly tacky about it. The aim of a logo is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer tries to use the logo to illustrate how people ought to think or feel they don’t understand the purpose of a logo. If you have to think about a logo to understand what it means, it has failed, a logo needs to be instantly understood and a logo that illustrates itself will never have the opportunity to be understood.

Logo design produced for a hair design studio featuring a script font a hummingbird and a suggested orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios desired a logo that carried an atmosphere of peace and class for their new hair studio. I came up with a design that didn’t go the obvious path of creating merely a stylized orchid but instead crafted a company logo which suggested a flower in the formation of a swirl integrated in to the letter O in the name and by placing attention on the concept along with the figure of a hummingbird hovering over the logo design itself. The obvious path in creating a company logo is more often than not the wrong path and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but instead laid the attention on the feeling that they really wanted to project to their customers.

Logo layout for a software programmer the style functions as well as legendary aspect of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the central part of an operating system (OS). Typically, the kernel is responsible for memory management, process and task control, and disk management. The kernel unites the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that functions as a bridge between the software and computer hardware.

The logo design I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a few miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to describe anything to anyone about what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. Nevertheless it meant something to the owner of the business and in many cases the significance supporting a company logo is equally as important as how it brands the business it represents.

A logo layout including a fisherman in the middle of the name casting a fly in the direction of the visitor.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brands like Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year selling goods and equipment to outdoor sporting enthusiasts the owners of On the Fly understood the market was prepared for an outdoor sporting merchant that operates as a consignment firm. Whether you are into boating, sportfishing or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a venue for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all sorts of passions, a location to market their secondhand items to other sports enthusiasts. I tailored their Springdale business logo dsign utilizing a graphic which garners the attention of vehicles and sends an image that evokes the enthusiasm of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages forty five mph I knew it would take more than the average logo/sign to get commuters to take notice, hence the picture of a fly fisherman in his natural and relaxed habitat.
Logo layout MQ ranches, this logo design has an area included into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms logo concept wasn’t really created for an Springdale area farm it was really designed for a commodities broker, and this particular logo design was one of a handful of that fell beneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The objective was actually to generate an identity that projected confidence, financial success, and luxury.
Logo design designed for the use of a sign for the restaurant (Brewgrrs), it is an elaborate script font style that is evocative a well-known sporting activities team logo design.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I have crafted dozens of restaurant logo designs and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the US, from cupcake pastry shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I believe Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a neat project in which I worked closely with the owner to design a logo which worked really well and did a fantastic job to brand them, it functioned on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the illuminated signage that hung over their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
