West Memphis Logo Design

Nearly every new West Memphis company realizes that they require a logo, yet few new business owners fully understand the key role their logo can take in their becoming successful, or exactly why one logo design works more effectively than another. A business logo has an instant and lasting influence on the growth of a company, pick the right one and it can make the door swing and cash register ring, choose the wrong one and it can be an obstacle and a hindrance for the longevity of a business. The logos presented in the ImageCo portfolio help West Memphis companies prosper, they are effective in any given scenario and the reason they are so effective is because they all have these 5 features in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logos do not require deliberation, they can be understood in merely a look.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to billboards a scalable logo will be legible and just as emotive at any dimension.
  3. Versatility: logos that function on any sort of device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are unique, and they are suitable for the organization they stand for.
  5. Relevance: a logo design must be lasting and will feel relevant today, tomorrow, and thirty years from today.

Retro logo style of a bicycle produced for a West Memphis coffee cafe and also a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This start-up coffee roaster and coffee shop were opening up in an older part of the community and really wanted to cast a vintage atmosphere without appearing as monotonous or low energy. I fulfilled both tasks by means of designing a company logo concept that includes a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is antiquated, high energy, and is a ageless business image.

medical logo style with a microscope slide and also germs developed for West Memphis medical clinic.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the scientific discipline that analyzes the root causes and outcomes of diseases, especially the field of healthcare which deals with the clinical examination of samples of body tissue for diagnostic or forensic intents.

The Mid-Valley Pathology custom logo design I came up with is the sole instance I recollect in which I was in a position to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide right into a logo design.

Typically I try not to be extremely literal with a concept and to a degree, this design approaches the company it serves fairly literally, however it does it in a fashion that incorporates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an illustration of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the brand that helps make it more intriguing, more attention grabbing and even more unforgettable.

logo design with a jumping eco-friendly frog made for a household fun center in West Memphis.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really fun project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the usual of the sorts of jobs that come my way, I’ve produced dozens of logo designs for physicians, dental offices, and legal professionals but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park which I have actually ever gotten the privilege to work on.

Given that the full name of the business has the word springz in its name the apparent choice would have been to incorporate a some springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun place to go and spring doesn’t really reflect an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this logo design project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, eventually I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the name itself to give the logo a much more lively high energy atmosphere.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my concept and named the frog Jax and integrated him in to everything they used for advertising and marketing. I also believe this is the only time that a logo I did was turned into a mascot when they had an employee costume fashioned to look exactly like my frog design.

photography logo including a flock of birds, a hill, a trail, a stream, and a tree - made for West Memphis traveling digital photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo design project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a rather specialized field of photography and I think it is a niche profession due to the fact that travel photographers tend not to shoot locations or things but instead reveal emotional journeys through the pictures they capture. The thought behind this logo design was to utilize negative space to project more than what was visible upon initial glance, which I think is representative of almost all good photographers in that they oftentimes tell entire stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words but I think that some photographs convey much more than that because their photos often have an emotional fullness which can’t be communicated with mere words. I made an effort to do something similar to this logo by using the positive space in the design to say one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was communicated through the first impression. I think, in looking back, that my objective was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  West Memphis logo but also to show the depth in her work and in the way that she sees the world through the lens of her camera.

West Memphis logo design with a seagull made use of for the letter A. Designed for a cordless retail organisation.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The bulk of logo design jobs that I take on I truly enjoy and the Coastal Wireless design was one that I certainly felt good about, but the customer didn’t quite share my excitement for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull form as a stroke in the letter A however the customer, even though he loved the concept, really did not care for my choice of birds. This particular guy really disliked seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, thankfully the rest of his family members did not share his scorn for this particular variety of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a client I urge them to discuss it with colleagues and family as well as with people that they don’t even know so as to get impartial judgements on the value of a design concept. Fortunately, he talked about it with his family and they really loved the design and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to insert every other seabird he could think of … ultimately I was able to talk him out of his alternative of a pelican and he went with the original concept.

Business logos are a weird creature in the design world because the people that have a tendency to hire a professional to design their business logo recognize how vital a logo is for their business so they are way more invested in the final result. Every logo design project possesses it’s portion of obstacles, however the most significant challenge is identifying that sweet spot in a design that functions really well at the task it’s required to do in branding a company and also providing the client the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo design with bamboo behind-the-scenes, style for West Memphis publication author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a slender parcel of real estate to work with, nevertheless it really is the most crucial part of a printed book because it is in most cases the initial thing a person views in the book shop. Concerning a publishing company, it’s the absolute best opportunity they will ever get to publicize their label and get their logo design in front of the individuals that shop for actual books.

This three color design is vivid, colorful and eye-catching and it leaves plenty of room for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design designed for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo design has 2 letter A's with benches modified to indicate they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines come and depart nevertheless it seems that in many instances one of the aspects consumers often tend to recollect the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a small startup commuter/shuttle airline based in LA and although I’m not sure it really “took off” their custom logo didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their brand lent itself well to imparting a feeling of flight and it was surely a winner.

West Memphis logo design utilized for advertising and marketing and a tag layout for Vintage Case features an archaic font style layout.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case focused in new cases for musical instruments, which looked to be much older cases. For this custom logo concept I attempted to come up with a logo that offered a fluid old style feel to it and could be used for everything from a web page to a label on brand new cases that looked like they were from another point in time.

Logo design developed for an orthodontist in West Memphis, design include an arc with lines converging with it to imply metal braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental care logos can easily be one of the most challenging logo jobs considering that it appears that every single dentist involves a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental business logos are one of the most cliche ridden fields when it comes to small business advertising, if restaurants approached their advertising in the same way dental offices do every one of their logo designs would be a picture trying to explain anything they served, McDonalds would probably have an image of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind incorporating an illustration of something mouth related to a dentist’s logo but it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dental professionals logo that litter the branding landscape of the dentistry profession.

I actually love doing dentist logo designs simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a particular field of dental treatment like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd approach that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics provided such an opportunity and inevitably I created a concept that does not have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still implied in the design. When I turned this concept over to the customer the only smile that was obvious was really the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo made for a family members nonprofit, the logo includes 4 personalities surprised in elevation to stand for a family with in the style.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation contacted ImageCo to help them come up with a logo that would be depictive of the devotion that William McNally had for the people residing in his community. Many logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain portrayals of a happy family, a cliche heavy method to any logo design is to be very literal about what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve found that the best designs are the ones that are downplayed and never hit the viewer on the head with what the company or institution wants to relate.

The McNally Foundation’s name presented a unique opportunity to do a logo design which communicated that they were about families without being overtly cheesy about it. The goal of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer attempts to use the logo to explain how people ought to think or feel they don’t understand the mission of a logo. If you have to ponder a logo to understand what it means, it has been in vain, a logo needs to be immediately comprehended and a logo that describes itself won’t have the likelihood to be comprehended.

Logo design created for a hair style workshop featuring a script font a hummingbird and also an indicated orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios needed a logo that communicated a feeling of tranquility and class for their new hair studio. I came up with a concept that didn’t go the obvious course of designing just a stylized orchid but alternatively designed a logo which implied a flower in the pattern of a swirl incorporated into the letter O in the title and by putting emphasis on the logo design along with the figure of a hummingbird hovering above the logo itself. The obvious path in creating a business logo is frequently the incorrect route and in this case, the design ended up not being about the flower but instead placed the emphasis on the feeling that they wanted to project to their patrons.

Logo design for a software application programmer the style features and also legendary element of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the principal component of an operating system (OS). Typically, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task control, and disk managing. The kernel connects the computer hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that behaves as a connection in between the software and computer hardware.

The logo design I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a few miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to spell out anything to anyone with regards to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However it represented something to the owner of the company and in many cases the meaning behind a logo is equally as important as how it serves the business it represents.

A logo layout including a fisherman in the center of the name casting a fly in the direction of the customer.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With companies like Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in over 7 billion a year offering goods and equipment to outdoor sporting lovers the founders of On the Fly recognized the market was prepared for an outdoor sporting store that operates as a consignment firm. Whether or not you are into boating, angling or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a venue for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all types of passions, a location to market their previously owned goods to other sports enthusiasts. I tailored their West Memphis logo dsign using an illustration that seizes the attention of vehicles and sends an image that wakens the enthusiasm of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages forty five mph I knew it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get commuters to take notice, hence the image of a fly fisherman in his natural and peaceful habitat.
Logo layout MQ ranches, this logo layout has a field included into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms business logo concept wasn’t actually created for an West Memphis regional farm it was really devised for a products broker, and this creative logo was one of a handful of that fell beneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The objective was really to make a image that projected trust, financial success, and affluence.
Logo design designed for the use of a sign for the restaurant (Brewgrrs), it is an elaborate script font style that is evocative a famous sporting activities group logo design.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I have crafted loads of restaurant logos and business signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the United States, from cupcake pastry shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I believe Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a neat undertaking where I worked directly with the owner to create a business logo that worked really well and did a fantastic job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the illuminated sign that hung over their doors, and was highly visible and very legible from over a block away.
