Adelanto, California Logo Design

Every new Adelanto business person knows they need a logo, yet few entrepreneurs entirely understand the key role their organization’s logo will make in their success, or why one logo performs far better than another. A logo design has a critical and sustaining effect on the success of a company, choose the correct one and it can make the door swing and cash register ring, go with the incorrect one and it will be an obstacle and a hindrance for the life of a company.

The logos presented in the ImageCo portfolio help Adelanto, California companies succeed, they are effective in any given circumstance and the reason they are so effective is that they all have these five features in common.

  1. Simplicity: simple logos don’t require scrutiny, they can be understood in merely a glance.
  2. Scalability: from labels to billboards a scalable logo design will remain legible and just as emotive at virtually any size.
  3. Versatility: logos which operate on any sort of device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are exclusive, and they are suitable for the company they represent.
  5. Relevance: a logo needs to be lasting and will feel as relevant today, tomorrow, and twenty years from now.
Retro logo layout of a bicycle produced for a Adelanto, California coffee cafe as well as a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This fledgling coffee roaster and cafe were launching in an old part of the area and wished to visualize an old-fashioned atmosphere without appearing as stodgy or low energy. I achieved each of the tasks by means of designing a business logo design that incorporates a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is antiquated, higher energy, and is a ageless business image.

medical logo style with a microscope slide and also germs created for Adelanto, California clinical facility.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science which studies the root causes and consequences of diseases, mainly the branch of medicine which deals with the clinical evaluation of samplings of body tissue for diagnostic or forensic intents.

The Mid-Valley Pathology custom logo design I came up with is the only instance I recall where I was able to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide within a business logo design.

Usually I attempt not to be overly literal with a concept and to a point, this specific design approaches the company it represents fairly literally, however it does it in a way that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an illustration of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancer to the name that makes it more interesting, more interest grabbing and much more meaningful.

logo design with a jumping green frog designed for a household fun facility in Adelanto, California.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really cool project to work on, probably because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the norm of the sorts of projects which come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for physicians, dental professionals, and attorneys but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park that I have actually ever had the opportunity to work on.

Given that the title of the business has the word springz in its name the clear choice would have been to include a some springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun place to go and spring does not really resonate an atmosphere of fun does it. My thought process on this logo design project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, ultimately I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to provide the logo a more dynamic high energy impression.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my concept and named the frog Jax and integrated him in to everything they utilized for advertising. I also believe this is the only time that a logo I did was transformed into a mascot when they had an employee costume fabricated to look just like my frog design.

digital photography logo including a flock of birds, a hill, a route, a stream, and also a tree - made for Adelanto, California travel digital photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a rather specialized field of photography and I think it is a niche area due to the fact that travel photographers tend not to shoot locations or things but rather communicate emotional journeys through the photos they record. The thought behind this logo concept was to make use of negative space to communicate more than what was visible upon first view, which I think is quintessential of most good photographers in that they oftentimes convey whole stories through their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words but I think that some photographs convey a great deal more than that because their photos frequently have an emotional fullness that can’t be revealed with mere words. I made an effort to do something very similar to this logo by utilizing the positive space in the design to suggest one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was communicated through the first impression. I think, in looking back, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Adelanto logo but also to illustrate the depth to her work and in the way that she views the world through the lens of her camera.

Adelanto logo style with a seagull made use of for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail company.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The lion’s share of business logo design projects that I take on I seriously relish and the Coastal Wireless assignment was one that I really felt good about, but the client didn’t quite share my excitement for it. I felt really good about the concept of using the seagull silhouette as a stroke in the character A however the client, while he loved the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This man really hated seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, fortunately the rest of his family members did not share his contempt for this particular type of sea bird.

When I turn a concept over to a client I urge them to share it with friends and family members as well as with other people that they don’t actually know so as to get objective point of views on the benefit of a design concept. Fortunately, he discussed it with his family members and they really loved the design and were able to persuade him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to include every other seabird he could think of … ultimately I was able to talk him out of his alternative of a pelican and he proceeded with the original design.

Business logos are a strange creature in the design world because the people that are inclined to hire a professional to design their business logo comprehend how crucial a logo is for their organization so they are way more vested in the final result. Every logo project has it’s share of challenges, however the biggest obstacle is identifying that sweet spot in a design that functions really well at the job it’s needed to do in branding a business and also giving the customer the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo layout with bamboo in the background, design for Adelanto, California book author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a narrow piece of real estate to work with, however it is the most essential part of a published book because it is in most cases the initial thing a person views in the bookstore. With respect to a publisher, it’s the opportunity that they will ever get to publicize their label and get their logo design in front of the individuals that shop for actual books.

This three color design is vivid, picturesque and eye-catching and it leaves plenty of room for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design created for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo design has two letter A's with the bars customized to indicate they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and depart however it seems like that in many occurrences one of the things folks tend to recollect the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a modest start-up commuter/shuttle airline based in LA and while I’m not sure it actually “took off” their logo design didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their title lent itself well to conferring a spirit of airline flight and it was surely a winner.

Adelanto logo layout made use of for marketing as well as a label style for Vintage Situation includes an archaic font style.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in all new cases for music instruments, which seemed to be antique cases. For this custom logo concept I attempted to come up with a logo that provided a fluid nostalgic feel to it and could be used for anything from a website to an insignia on brand new cases that appeared like they were from a different era.

Logo developed for an orthodontist in Adelanto, California, style consist of an arc with lines converging with it to imply steel dental braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dentistry logo designs can be one of the most challenging logo design jobs considering that it seems that every single dental professional involves a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dentistry business logos are one of the very most cliche ridden careers when it comes to business advertising, if dining establishments approached their advertising in the very same way dental practices do every one of their logo designs would be a picture explaining something they served, McDonalds would probably have an image of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind incorporating an illustration of something mouth related to a dentist’s logo design but it has to be done subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dental professionals logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental care profession.

I actually love doing dentist logo designs because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies the field of dentistry or a specific field of dental treatment like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd course of action that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics delivered such an opportunity and eventually I created a design that does not have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t overt, they are still suggested in the design. When I turned this design over to the customer the only smile that was apparent was the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo created for a household not-for-profit, the logo design features 4 personalities surprised in elevation to stand for a family unit with in the design.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation reached out to ImageCo to help them come up with a logo design that would be illustrative of the love that William McNally had for the people in his city. Many logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain depictions of a happy family, a cliche heavy technique to any logo design is to be very literal with regards to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve found that the best designs are the ones that are understated and never hit the viewer on the head with what the business or organization wants to convey.

The McNally Foundation’s name presented a unique opportunity to do a custom logo design that conveyed that they were about families without being overtly cheesy about it. The goal of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer makes an effort to use the logo to illustrate precisely how individuals should think or feel they don’t understand the objective of a logo. If you have to consider a logo to understand what it means, it has fallen short, a logo needs to be immediately comprehended and a logo that explains itself won’t have the chance to be understood.

Logo design produced for a hair layout workshop including a manuscript font a hummingbird and an implied orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios needed a company logo which related an atmosphere of tranquility and elegance for their new hair salon. I came up with a design which didn’t go the obvious course of making simply a stylized orchid but instead created a logo which suggested a flower in the pattern of a swirl incorporated into the letter O in the name and by putting attention on the concept along with the figure of a hummingbird hovering above the image itself. The obvious path in creating a company logo is usually the incorrect course and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but instead laid the focus on the emotion that they really wanted to project to their clients.

Logo layout for a software developer the layout features and also famous element of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the principal part of an operating system (OS). Typically, the kernel is responsible for memory management, process and task control, and drive management. The kernel connects the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that serves as a bridge in between the software program and computer hardware.

The business logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a number of miles from the offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to point out anything to anyone with regards to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. Nevertheless it meant something to the owner of the business and in many cases the meaning supporting a logo is equally as important as how it brands the company it represents.

A logo layout featuring a fisherman in the middle of the name casting a fly towards the viewer.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With companies such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in over 7 billion a year offering supplies and equipment to outdoor sporting fans the founders of On the Fly knew the market place was prepared for an outdoor sporting merchant that operates as a consignment firm. Whether you are into boating, sportfishing or mountain climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly presents a location for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all sorts of interests, a spot to sell off their secondhand goods to other sports enthusiasts. I created their Adelanto logo dsign utilizing an image that garners the attention of traffic and projects an image that invokes the passion of the outdoors. With traffic that averages forty five mph I knew it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the picture of a fly fisherman in his natural and peaceful habitat.
Logo style MQ ranches, this logo style has actually a field incorporated into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms custom logo idea wasn’t really produced for an Adelanto, California area farm it was in reality devised for a products broker, and this company was one of several that fell underneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The end goal was to produce a brand mark that projected trust, effectiveness, and luxury.

Adelanto Logo design for a not-for-profit, Transforming Point Solutions - the logo layout feature for ostensibly encountering arrow and the arrowheads indicate that it is a ruby form.

Turning Point Foundation | Logo Design

The Turning Point Foundation was entirely open to what kind of logo design that they preferred, this can be a good thing or a bad thing. Good in that it gives a designer the flexibility to investigate any concept that comes to mind, bad in that it’s tricky to hit a bullseye in the absence of recognizing where the target is. Fortunately, in this case, I struck a bullseye with the very first try.

Logo design developed for using an indication for the restaurant (Brewgrrs), it is a luxuriant manuscript font that is similar to a popular sports team logo.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve crafted loads of restaurant custom logo designs and business signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments, and eateries all over the USA, from cupcake pastry shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my favorite. Brewgrrs was a great undertaking in which I worked directly with the business owner to produce a business logo which worked extremely well and did a great job to brand them, it functioned on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the illuminated sign that hung over their doors, and was highly visible and very legible from over a block away.
