Agoura Hills Logo Design

Nearly every new Agoura Hills company realizes that they require a logo, yet few new business owners entirely recognize the key role their organization logo can perform in their financial success, or the reason that one logo design functions more effectively than another. A logo has a critical and long-term influence on the success of a business, go with the right one and it will make the door swing and cash register ring, go with the wrong one and it can be a barrier and an impediment for the life of a business. The logos presented in the ImageCo portfolio help Agoura Hills companies prosper, they are effective in any given circumstance and the reason why they are so effective is because they all have these 5 things in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logos do not require deliberation, they can be comprehended in just a look.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to billboards a scalable business logo will stay legible and equally emotive at every dimension.
  3. Versatility: logos that work on any type of device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are personal, and they are suitable for the company they stand for.
  5. Relevance: a logo needs to be timeless and should feel relevant today, tomorrow, and forty years from now.

Retro logo layout of a bike created for a Agoura Hills coffee cafe and also a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This fledgling coffee roaster and bistro were launching in an older part of the city and hoped to visualize an old-fashioned atmosphere without coming across as stodgy or low energy. I fulfilled both of these jobs by designing a custom logo concept that contains a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is antiquated, high energy, and is a classic business image.

clinical logo layout with a microscope slide as well as germs designed for Agoura Hills clinical clinic.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the scientific discipline which researches the triggers and outcomes of diseases, mainly the field of healthcare which deals with the laboratory evaluation of specimens of body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic objectives.

The Mid-Valley Pathology logo I came up with is the sole instance I call to mind where I was able to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide into a business logo design.

Generally I attempt not to be overly literal with a concept and to a point, this design approaches the company it represents fairly literally, however it does it in a way that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as a description of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the name that makes it more captivating, more attention grabbing and even more unforgettable.

logo style with a leaping eco-friendly frog designed for a family members enjoyable center in Agoura Hills.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a very fun project to work on, probably because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s additionally a project that is way out of the norm of the types of projects which come my way, I’ve produced dozens of logo designs for doctors, dental experts, and legal professionals but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park which I have actually ever had the opportunity to work on.

Given that the title of the company has the word springz in its name the clear choice would have been to integrate a few springs into the concept but Cool Springz is a fun place to go and spring does not really resonate an atmosphere of fun does it. My thought process on this logo project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, eventually I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to provide the logo a more enthusiastic high energy feel.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my brainchild and named the frog Jax and included him in to everything they used for promotion and marketing. I also believe this is the only time that a logo I did was transformed into a mascot when they had an employee costume fabricated to look just like my frog design.

photography logo featuring a group of birds, a mountain, a route, a stream, and a tree - made for Agoura Hills travel photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo design job I took on for a travel photographer, which is a fairly specialized field of photography and I believe it is a niche speciality due to the fact that travel photographers don’t capture locations or things but instead project emotional journeys through the pictures they record. The idea behind this logo design was to make use of negative space to communicate more than what was visible upon first view, which I think is representative of almost all good photographers in that they oftentimes share whole stories through their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey a lot more than that because their photos often have an emotional fullness that can’t be communicated with mere words. I made an effort to do something the same to this logo design by employing the positive space in the design to voice one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was communicated through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Agoura Hills logo design but also to illustrate the depth to her work and in the way that she views the world through the lens of her camera.

Agoura Hills logo layout with a seagull made use of for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail service.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The bulk of custom logo design projects that I take on I really savor and the Coastal Wireless project was one that I really felt good about, however the client didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the concept of using the seagull silhouette as a stroke in the character A but my customer, while he liked the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This particular man really loathed seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, thankfully the rest of his family did not share his aversion for this specific variety of sea bird.

When I turn a concept over to a client I urge them to discuss it with friends and family members as well as with individuals that they don’t even know so as to get unbiased point of views on the benefit of a concept. Fortunately, he discussed it with his family and they really liked the concept and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to incorporate every other seabird he could think of … eventually I was able to talk him out of his choice of a pelican and he went with the original design.

Business logos are a strange animal in the design world given that the people that are inclined to hire a professional to create their logo realize how important a logo design is for their company so they are way more invested in the outcome. Every logo project has it’s allotment of hurdles, however the biggest obstacle is finding that sweet spot in a design that operates really well at the task it’s needed to do in branding a company and also providing the client the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo design with bamboo behind-the-scenes, design for Agoura Hills publication author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a cramped slice of real estate to work with, but it is the most crucial part of a published book because it is ordinarily the very first thing a person views in the book shop. For a publishing company, it’s the most ideal opportunity they will ever get to promote their label and get their logo design in front of the people that shop for actual books.

This 3 color design is vivid, colorful and eye-catching and it leaves plenty of room for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo developed for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo has two letter A's with the bars customized to indicate they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines come and go but it looks like that in many instances one of the items individuals often tend to recall the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a smaller start-up commuter/shuttle airline located in LA and while I’m not certain it actually “took off” their custom logo didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their brand lent itself well to affording a good sense of flight and it was certainly a victory.

Agoura Hills logo design used for advertising and also a tag design for Vintage Case features an old-fashioned font style style.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in brand new cases for music instruments, that seemed to be much older cases. For this logo concept I sought to come up with a logo that had a fluid old-fashioned feel to it and could be utilized for anything from a website to a label on brand new cases that looked like they were from another era.

Logo developed for an orthodontist in Agoura Hills, layout include an arc with lines intersecting via it to imply metal braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental care business logos can be one of the most difficult logo jobs due to the fact that it appears that almost every dentist includes a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental business logos are one of the most cliche ridden professions when it comes to business marketing, if dining establishments approached their branding in the same way dental practitioners do every one of their logos would be a picture explaining anything they served, McDonalds would probably contain an image of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind adding an illustration of something mouth associated to a dentist’s logo nevertheless it has to be done subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dental professionals logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental care industry.

I actually love doing dentistry business logos because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies the field of dentistry or a particular area of the field of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the stereotypical course of action that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics provided such an opportunity and eventually I created a layout that does not have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t overt, they are still implied in the concept. When I turned this particular concept over to the customer the only smile that was evident was the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo developed for a household nonprofit, the logo design includes 4 characters surprised in height to represent a family unit with in the design.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation asked ImageCo to help them come up with a custom logo design that would be depictive of the devotion that William McNally had for the people in his community. The majority of logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain depictions of a happy family, a cliche heavy technique to any logo design is to be very literal about what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve found that the best designs are the ones that are understated and don’t hit the viewer on the head with what the company or organization wants to relate.

The McNally Foundation’s name presented a distinct opportunity to do a logo design that conveyed that they were about families without being overtly tacky about it. The aim of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer attempts to use the logo design to summarize how people ought to think or feel they don’t understand the purpose of a logo. If viewers have to consider a logo design to understand what it means, it has failed, a logo needs to be immediately understood and a logo design that describes itself won’t have the chance to be comprehended.

Logo design created for a hair layout studio featuring a manuscript font a hummingbird and also an implied orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios wanted a business logo that communicated a sense of serenity and class for their new hair salon. I came up with a concept that did not go the obvious direction of creating merely a stylized orchid but alternatively delivered a company logo that suggested an orchid in the pattern of a swirl incorporated into the letter O in the name and by putting emphasis on the concept along with the figure of a hummingbird hovering over the logo design itself. The obvious path in designing a logo design is in most cases the incorrect route and in this case, the design ended up not being about the flower but instead placed the main focus on the emotion that they really wanted to forecast to their clients.

Arabian steed logo design created for a horse cattle ranch that specializes in breeding Arabian show steeds.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

ImageCo developed a unique brand concept fashioned to manifest the unique physical traits of the Arabian breed of horses. By having an identifiable head form and higher tail posture, the Arabian is one of the very most easily identifiable equine breeds in the entire world.

Las Cafe logo layout a tiny restaurant, style contains a customized script font style which floats above a group of luxuriant lines and dots.

Logo design for a software application designer the style features and also famous component of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the central component of an operating system (OS). Generally, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task control, and drive management. The kernel connects the computer hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that performs as a connection in between the software program and hardware.

The logo design I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is located a couple of miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to point out anything to anyone regarding what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However it intimated something to the owner of the company and in many cases the significance behind a company logo is equally as important as how it brands the company it represents.

Progress logo layout developed for a Agoura Hills indoor developer, layout feature a series of red circles that converge and replace the letter O in the center of the logo layout.

Evolv Interior Design | Logo Design | Branding

A logo style including a fisherman in the center of the name casting a fly towards the customer.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brand names such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year retailing goods and equipment to outdoor sporting enthusiasts the founders of On the Fly realized the market place was prepared for an outdoor sporting merchant that functions as a consignment company. Whether or not you are into boating, fishing or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a destination for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all kinds of interests, a spot to sell their pre-owned equipment to other sports enthusiasts. I tailored their Agoura Hills logo dsign with an image that garners the interest of vehicles and projects an image that calls to mind the enthusiasm of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages 45 miles per hour I knew it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get commuters to take notice, hence the picture of a fly fisherman in his natural and relaxed habitat.
Logo layout MQ farms, this logo layout has an area incorporated right into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms emblem concept wasn’t really designed for an Agoura Hills regional farm it was actually developed for a products broker, and this logo was one of a handful of that fell beneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The end goal was to develop a graphic that projected esteem, success, and opulence.
Logo design designed for using a sign for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is an elaborate script typeface that is evocative a renowned sports team logo.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I have designed loads of restaurant custom logo designs and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the USA, from cupcake pastry shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I believe Brewgrrs was my favorite. Brewgrrs was a cool undertaking where I worked directly with the owner to develop a business logo that worked really well and did a great job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the neon sign that hung over their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
