Bellflower, California Logo Design
Each and every new Bellflower business person realizes that they need a logo, yet few new business owners fully understand the vital role their company logo can take in their financial success, or precisely why one logo design performs better than another. A business logo has an instant and lasting effect on the growth of a company, pick the correct one and it can make the door swing and phone ring, choose the incorrect one and it will be an obstacle and an impediment for the life span of a business.
The logos presented in the ImageCo portfolio help Bellflower, California companies succeed, they are effective in any given circumstance and the reason they are so effective is that they all have these five things in common.
- Simplicity: simple logo designs do not require scrutiny, they can be understood in merely a glimpse.
- Scalability: from labels to signboards a scalable business logo will remain legible and just as emotive at every dimension.
- Versatility: logos that function on any device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball-cap.
- Suitability: they are appropriate, they are unique, and they are suitable for the organization they represent.
- Relevance: a company logo needs to be timeless and should feel as relevant today, tomorrow, and thirty years from today.
Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail BrandingFerry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding
This startup coffee roaster and coffee shop were opening in an old section of the community and wished to cast a nostalgic feel without coming across as boring or low energy. I fulfilled both tasks via designing a logo design that features a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is antiquated, high energy, and is a ageless business image.
Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo DesignMid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design
Pathology is the science which analyzes the causes and outcomes of diseases, mainly the field of healthcare which works with the clinical assessment of specimens of human body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic purposes.
The Mid-Valley Pathology brand I came up with is really the sole instance I call to mind where I was able to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide into a logo design.
Generally I attempt not to be excessively literal with a design and to a degree, this design approaches the company it serves fairly literally, but it does it in a way that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an illustration of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancer to the name that makes it more interesting, more focus grabbing and a lot more memorable.
Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail BrandingCool Springs | Logo Design | Retail Branding
The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really fun project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the norm of the sorts of projects that come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for medical professionals, dentists, and lawyers but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park which I have ever gotten the opportunity to work on.
Given that the title of the business features the word springz in its name the clear choice would have been to feature a handful of springs into the concept but Cool Springz is a fun location to go and spring doesn’t really resonate an atmosphere of fun does it. My thought process on this logo design project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, eventually I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to give the logo a more enthusiastic high energy impression.
In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my concept and named the frog Jax and integrated him in to everything they utilized for advertising and marketing. I also think this is the only time that a logo I did was made into a mascot when they had an employee costume fabricated to look exactly like my frog design.
Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website DesignTravel Don’t Wander | Bellflower Logo Design | Website Design
Travel Don’t Wander was a custom logo design project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a fairly niche field of photography and I think it is a niche sector because travel photographers don’t capture locations or things but rather communicate emotional journeys through the pictures they capture. The idea behind this logo concept was to make use of negative space to reveal more than what was visible upon initial view, which I think is representative of almost all professional photographers in that they oftentimes convey whole stories through their photography.
It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey a lot more than that because their photos frequently have an emotional fullness that can’t be revealed with mere words. I attempted to do something the same to this logo by making use of the positive space in the design to say one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in looking back, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable Bellflower logo design but also to reveal the depth of her work and in the way that she perceives the world through the lens of her camera.
Coastal Wireless | Logo DesignCoastal Wireless | Logo Design The lion’s share of business logo design projects that I take on I truly savor and the Coastal Wireless assignment was one that I certainly felt good about, but the customer didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull shape as a stroke in the letter A but my client, while he loved the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This particular man genuinely hated seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, fortunately the rest of his family members did not share his scorn for this particular kind of sea bird. When I turn a concept over to a client I encourage them to share it with friends and colleagues and family members as well as with individuals that they don’t actually know so as to get honest judgements on the merit of a design. Fortunately, he talked about it with his family and they adored the design and were able to persuade him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to insert every other seabird he could think of … ultimately I was able to talk him out of his preference of a pelican and he proceeded with the original concept. Custom logo designs are a weird animal in the design world because the people that tend to hire a professional to design their logo design comprehend how crucial a logo is for their company so they are way more invested in the end result. Every logo design job possesses it’s share of obstacles, but the largest obstacle is identifying that sweet spot in a design that operates really well at the task it’s required to do in branding a business and also giving the client the identity they see for themselves.
Red Panda Publishers | Logo DesignRed Panda Publishers | Logo Design
The book spine is a cramped slice of real estate to work with, nevertheless it really is the most necessary part of a published book because it is usually the initial thing a person views in the bookstore. With respect to a publisher, it’s the optimal opportunity that they will ever have to advertise their label and get their logo design in front of the men and women that purchase actual books.
This 3 color design is vivid, picturesque and eye-catching and it gives plenty of territory for the title and the author’s name.
Air LA | Logo DesignAir LA | Logo Design
Airlines come and depart yet it looks like that in many instances 1 of the things consumers often tend to recall the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a small start-up commuter/shuttle air service situated in LA and while I’m not sure it actually “took off” their logo design didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their name lent itself well to conferring a good sense of flight and it was certainly a success.
Vintage Case | Logo DesignVintage Case | Logo Design
Vintage case focused in new cases for music instruments, that looked to be vintage cases. For this brand design I sought to come up with a logo that offered a fluid old style feel to it and could be used for every thing from a website to a label on brand new cases that appeared like they were from another era.
Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign DesignKujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design
Dental care logos can easily be one of the most challenging logo projects considering that it appears that virtually every dentist includes a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental business logos are one of the very most cliche ridden fields when it comes to company advertising, if dining establishments approached their branding in the same way dental practitioners do every one of their logos would definitely be a picture explaining something they served, McDonalds would most likely include a picture of a potato and a cow.
I understand the thinking behind including an illustration of something mouth associated to a dentist’s logo design nevertheless it has to be done subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dental professionals logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental care profession.
I really love doing dentist logo designs because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies the field of dentistry or a certain field of dental treatment like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd course of action that so many dentists settle on.
Kujak Orthodontics offered such an opportunity and subsequently I created a design that doesn’t have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t overt, they are still implied in the concept. When I turned this concept over to the customer the only smile that was obvious was the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.
William McNally | Logo Design | BrandingWilliam McNally | Logo Design | Branding
The William McNally Family Foundation asked ImageCo to help them come up with a brand identity design that would be illustrative of the devotion that William McNally had for the residents in his city. Many logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain portrayals of a happy family, a cliche heavy technique to any logo design is to be very literal about what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best designs are the ones that are understated and never hit the viewer on the head with what the business or organization wants to communicate.
The McNally Foundation’s name offered a unique opportunity to do a logo design which conveyed that they were about families without being openly tacky about it. The goal of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer makes an effort to use the logo design to summarize precisely how individuals should think or feel they don’t understand the objective of a logo. If you have to think about a logo to understand what it means, it has been in vain, a logo needs to be immediately understood and a logo design that explains itself won’t have the likelihood to be comprehended.
Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design ProjectWild Orchid Studio | Logo Design
Wild Orchid Studios desired a business logo that communicated a spirit of peace and connection for their new hair studio. I came up with a concept which didn’t go the obvious direction of crafting just a stylized orchid but rather designed a business logo that suggested an orchid in the formation of a swirl blended into the letter O in the title and by putting emphasis on the concept using the figure of a hummingbird floating over the image itself. The obvious path in designing a company logo is oftentimes the incorrect course and in this case, the design ended up not being about the flower but instead put the importance on the perception that they really wanted to forecast to their customers.
Dazzo Arabians | Logo DesignDazzo Arabians | Logo Design
ImageCo created a unique business logo design styled to display the unique physical traits of the Arabian breed of equines. By having a distinctive head shape and higher tail posture, the Arabian is one of the highly easily identifiable horse breeds in the entire world.

Las Coffee shop logo design a little restaurant, layout consists of a changed script font style which floats above a group of ornate lines and also dots.
Smart Kernels | Logo DesignSmart Kernels | Logo Design
A kernel is the key part of an operating system (OS). Typically, the kernel is responsible for memory management, process and task management, and disk operations. The kernel unites the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that serves as a bridge between the software program and hardware.
The logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a couple of miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to spell out anything to anyone pertaining to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. But it intimated something to the owner of the company and in quite a few cases the meaning behind a logo design is just as important as how it brands the organization it stands for.

Evolv Design is a Bellflower, California interior design company and this logo design is representational of the work that an interior designer does in. An interior designer is a person who arranges, investigates, collaborates, and oversees such ventures. Interior design is a diverse profession that includes conceptual development, space planning, location assessments, programming, study, corresponding with the stakeholders of a project, building and construction management, and execution of the design.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | BrandingAdvanced Leadership Solutions | Logo Design | Branding
The MQ farms logo concept wasn’t actually designed for an Bellflower, California area farm it was really developed for a commodities broker, and this logo was one of a handful of which fell underneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The goal was actually to design a graphic that projects self-confidence, effectiveness, and opulence.
Turning Point Foundation | Logo DesignTurning Point Foundation | Logo Design
The Turning Point Foundation was entirely open to what kind of logo design they wanted, that can be a good thing or a bad thing. Good in that it provides a designer the opportunity to discover any concept that comes to mind, bad in that it’s difficult to hit a bullseye without knowing where the target is. Luckily, in this case, I hit a bullseye with the first shot.
Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant BrandingBrewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding
I have designed loads of restaurant logo designs and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments, and eateries all over the USA, from cupcake bake shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a cool project in which I worked closely with the business owner to produce a logo design which worked extremely well and did a fantastic job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the illuminated sign that hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very legible from over a block away.
