Brawley Logo Design

Every new Brawley organization knows they need a logo, but few new business owners fully comprehend the key role their logo can play in their financial success, or exactly why one logo design functions better than another. A company logo has a critical and lasting influence on the success of a business, select the correct one and it will make the door swing and phone ring, select the wrong one and it will be an obstacle and an impediment for the life of an organization. The logos featured in the ImageCo portfolio help Brawley companies prosper, they are effective in any given scenario and the reason why they are so effective is because they all have these five things in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logo designs do not require scrutiny, they can be realized in merely a look.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to billboards a scalable logo will be legible and equally emotive at any size.
  3. Versatility: logos that operate on any type of device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are exclusive, and they are suitable for the company they represent.
  5. Relevance: a company logo should be lasting and will feel relevant today, tomorrow, and thirty years from today.

Retro logo layout of a bicycle created for a Brawley coffee cafe and a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This budding coffee roaster and coffee shop were actually opening in an older part of the town and wanted to project a vintage vibe without appearing as monotonous or low energy. I achieved both of these jobs by means of designing a custom logo design that features a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is antiquated, higher energy, and is a timeless business image.

clinical logo style with a microscopic lense slide and germs designed for Brawley medical center.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the scientific discipline which examines the triggers and outcomes of diseases, especially the field of medicine which deals with the clinical evaluation of samples of body tissue for diagnostic or forensic reasons.

The Mid-Valley Pathology brand I came up with is the sole instance I recollect in which I was able to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide right into a business logo design.

Usually I try not to be excessively literal with a concept and to a degree, this design approaches the company it represents fairly literally, however it does it in a fashion that incorporates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an illustration of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancer to the name that helps make it more intriguing, more focus grabbing and much more meaningful.

logo style with a jumping environment-friendly frog designed for a family fun facility in Brawley.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a very cool project to work on, probably because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the norm of the kinds of jobs which come my way, I’ve produced dozens of logo designs for medical professionals, dental professionals, and lawyers but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park that I have ever had the privilege to work on.

Given that the title of the business features the word springz in its name the clear choice would have been to incorporate a couple of springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun location to go and spring does not actually reflect an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this logo project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, eventually I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to provide the logo a more lively high energy impression.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my design and named the frog Jax and integrated him in to everything they utilized for advertising. I also think this is the only time that a logo I designed was turned into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fabricated to look just like my frog design.

digital photography logo featuring a group of birds, a hill, a route, a stream, and also a tree - designed for Brawley travel photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo design project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a pretty niche field of photography and I believe it is a niche area due to the fact that travel photographers tend not to capture locations or things but rather project emotional experiences through the pictures they record. The idea behind this logo concept was to utilize negative space to convey more than what was visible upon initial view, which I think is representative of most good photographers in that they oftentimes convey whole stories through their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey considerably more than that because their photos often have an emotional fullness which can’t be conveyed with just words. I tried to do something the same to this logo design by making use of the positive space in the design to say one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was communicated through the first impression. I think, in looking back, that my objective was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Brawley logo design but also to show the depth to her art and in the way that she views the world through the lens of her camera.

Brawley logo design with a seagull utilized for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail organisation.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The majority of custom logo design jobs that I take on I truly relish and the Coastal Wireless design was one that I certainly felt good about, however the customer didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull shape as a stroke in the letter A however the customer, even though he liked the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This guy genuinely disliked seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, fortunately the rest of his family did not share his hatred for this particular kind of sea bird.

When I turn a concept over to a client I urge all of them to share it with friends and family as well as with people that they don’t even know so as to get impartial opinions on the value of a design. Fortunately, he discussed it with his family members and they adored the concept and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to incorporate every other seabird he could think of … eventually I was able to talk him out of his choice of a pelican and he went with the original concept.

Custom logo designs are a strange animal in the design world given that the people that tend to hire an expert to design their logo comprehend how crucial a logo design is for their company so they are much more invested in the result. Every logo design job has it’s share of hurdles, but the greatest challenge is identifying that sweet spot in a design that works really well at the job it’s required to do in branding a business and also giving the customer the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo design with bamboo in the background, style for Brawley publication author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a narrow piece of real estate to work with, but it really is the most essential part of a printed book since it is often the initial thing a person views in the book store. With respect to a publishing company, it’s the opportunity they will ever get to promote their product and get their logo design in front of the men and women that purchase actual books.

This 3 color design is vibrant, colorful and eye-catching and it leaves plenty of space for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design designed for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo design has 2 letter A's with benches customized to imply they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and depart nevertheless it seems that in many cases 1 of the items folks often tend to recollect the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a smaller start-up commuter/shuttle airline company based in LA and although I’m not sure it actually “took off” their business logo didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their name lent itself well to conferring a sense of flight and it was certainly a winner.

Brawley logo style utilized for advertising and marketing and a tag layout for Vintage Instance includes an antiquated font design.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in brand-new cases for musical instruments, that seemed to be older cases. For this brand design I tried to come up with a logo that possessed a fluid vintage feel to it and could easily be utilized for every thing from a web site to a label on brand new cases that appeared like they were from another generation.

Logo design produced for an orthodontist in Brawley, design include an arc with lines intersecting via it to indicate steel dental braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dentistry business logos can easily be one of the most difficult logo design jobs due to the fact that it seems that almost every dentist features a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental logo designs are one of the most cliche ridden professions when it comes to small business branding, if dining establishments approached their advertising in the very same way dental professionals do every one of their company logos would be a picture trying to explain something they served, McDonalds would probably contain a picture of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind including an illustration of something mouth associated to a dentist’s company logo but it has to be done subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental industry.

I actually love doing dentistry logo designs simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies the field of dentistry or a certain area of the field of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd solution that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics delivered such an opportunity and subsequently I created a layout that doesn’t have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still suggested in the design. When I turned this particular design over to the customer the only smile that was evident was actually the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo design made for a family members not-for-profit, the logo includes 4 personalities surprised in elevation to stand for a family with in the design.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation contacted ImageCo to help them come up with a logo that would be depictive of the devotion that William McNally had for the residents in his community. The majority of logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain portrayals of a happy family, a cliche heavy method to any logo design is to be very literal about what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve found that the best concepts are the ones that are downplayed and don’t hit the viewer on the head with what the business or institution wishes to relate.

The McNally Foundation’s name presented a distinct opportunity to do a logo that conveyed that they were about families without being overtly cheesy about it. The aim of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer makes an effort to use the logo to summarize precisely how people should think or feel they don’t understand the goal of a logo. If people have to think about a logo to understand what it means, it has been in vain, a logo needs to be instantly understood and a logo design that describes itself will never have the opportunity to be understood.

Logo layout produced for a hair design workshop including a script font a hummingbird and an indicated orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios wanted a company logo that communicated an atmosphere of ease and class for their new hair salon. I came up with a design that did not go the obvious direction of making simply a stylized orchid but instead designed a business logo that implied a flower in the pattern of a swirl incorporated in to the letter O in the name and by placing emphasis on the logo design using the figure of a hummingbird hovering above the image itself. The obvious path in creating a logo design is generally the incorrect route and in this case, the design ended up not being about the flower but alternately laid the importance on the perception that they really wanted to project to their clients.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

ImageCo crafted a one-of-a-kind logotype concept styled to epitomize the unique physical traits of the Arabian kind of horses. By having an identifiable head shape and high tail carriage, the Arabian is one of the very most quite easily identifiable equine types in the whole world.

Las Coffee shop logo style a little restaurant, style includes a changed script typeface which hovers above a team of ornate lines as well as dots.

Las Coffee shop logo style a little dining establishment, design contains a changed script font which floats over a group of elaborate lines and dots.

Logo layout for a software program programmer the layout functions and renowned component of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the key part of an operating system (OS). Typically, the kernel is responsible for memory management, process and task management, and disk operations. The kernel links the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that behaves as a connection in between the software and computer hardware.

The business logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a couple of miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to describe anything to anyone with regards to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However, it intimated something to the owner of the company and in quite a few cases the substance behind a company logo is equally as important as how it brands the business it stands for.

A logo layout featuring an angler in the middle of the name casting a fly in the direction of the visitor.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brands such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in over 7 billion a year offering supplies and equipment to outdoor sporting fans the owners of On the Fly knew the market place was prepared for an outdoor sporting merchant that functions as a consignment company. Whether or not you are into boating, sportfishing or mountain climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly presents a place for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all types of interests, a spot to market their used goods to other sports enthusiasts. I created their Brawley logo dsign along with a graphic which garners the interest of vehicles and sends an image that calls to mind the passion of the outdoors. With traffic that averages 45 miles per hour I knew it would take more than the average logo/sign to get commuters to take notice, hence the illustration of a fly fisherman in his natural and serene habitat.
Logo layout MQ farms, this logo design has an area incorporated right into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms company logo idea wasn’t really designed for an Brawley regional farm it was actually created for a products broker, and this logo design was one of a handful of that fell under the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The aim was actually to make a graphic that projected assurance, effectiveness, and prosperity.
Logo designed for making use of a sign for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is an ornate script font that is similar to a well-known sports group logo design.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I have designed loads of restaurant custom logo designs and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the USA, from cupcake bakeshops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my favorite. Brewgrrs was a great project where I worked directly with the business owner to create a business logo that worked extremely well and did a great job to brand them, it functioned on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the illuminated sign that hung over their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
