Corcoran, California Logo Design

Each and every new Corcoran business person understands that they require a logo, but few new business owners thoroughly recognize the crucial role their logo design will play in their success, or precisely why one logo functions far better than another. A business logo has an instant and lasting impact on the success of a business, select the right one and it will make the door swing and cash register ring, go with the incorrect one and it can be a barrier and a hindrance for the life span of a business.

The logos presented in the ImageCo portfolio help Corcoran, California businesses succeed, they are effective in any given scenario and the reason they are so effective is because they all have these five traits in common.

  1. Simplicity: simple logos don’t require scrutiny, they can be understood in merely a look.
  2. Scalability: from labels to billboards a scalable business logo will continue to be legible and equally emotive at virtually any size.
  3. Versatility: logos which operate on any sort of device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are unique, and they are suitable for the organization they represent.
  5. Relevance: a company logo must be timeless and will feel as relevant today, tomorrow, and forty years from now.
Retro logo design of a bicycle developed for a Corcoran, California coffee cafe as well as a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This budding coffee roaster and coffee bar were opening in an older section of town and wished to project a nostalgic vibe without coming across as stodgy or low energy. I fulfilled both of these tasks through designing a business logo concept that contains a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is antiquated, higher energy, and is an enduring business image.

medical logo layout with a microscopic lense slide and also bacteria designed for Corcoran, California clinical facility.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the scientific discipline which studies the triggers and outcomes of diseases, especially the branch of healthcare which works with the clinical assessment of samplings of body tissue for diagnostic or forensic purposes.

The Mid-Valley Pathology brand I came up with is really the sole instance I recollect where I was in a position to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide into a business logo design.

Typically I try not to be excessively literal with a design and to a point, this specific design approaches the company it represents quite literally, however it does it in a way that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an explanation of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the brand that makes it more captivating, more attention grabbing and more meaningful.

logo design with a leaping environment-friendly frog designed for a family members enjoyable facility in Corcoran, California.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a very fun project to work on, probably because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the usual of the types of jobs which come my way, I’ve produced dozens of logo designs for physicians, dental experts, and lawyers but Cool Springz is without question the one and only trampoline park which I have ever had the opportunity to work on.

Given that the full name of the company has the word springz in its name the clear choice would have been to feature a couple of springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun destination to go and spring does not really reflect an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this logo project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, in the end I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to give the logo a much more lively high energy feel.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my brainchild and named the frog Jax and incorporated him in to everything they utilized for advertising. I also believe this is the only time that a logo I did was transformed into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fabricated to look just like my frog design.

photography logo design featuring a flock of birds, a mountain, a route, a stream, and also a tree - made for Corcoran, California traveling professional photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a custom logo design job I took on for a travel photographer, which is a rather specialized field of photography and I believe it is a niche area because travel photographers tend not to shoot locations or things but instead convey emotional journeys by means of the photos they record. The thought behind this logo concept was to use negative space to project more than what was visible upon first glance, which I think is representative of the majority of professional photographers in that they oftentimes tell entire stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey much more than that because their photos frequently have an emotional fullness which can’t be revealed with mere words. I made an effort to do something comparable to this logo by using the positive space in the design to voice one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was communicated through the first impression. I think, in looking back, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Corcoran logo design but also to reveal the depth in her art and in the way that she perceives the world through the lens of her camera.

Corcoran logo design with a seagull utilized for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail business.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The lion’s share of custom logo design projects that I take on I genuinely savor and the Coastal Wireless project was one that I really felt good about, but the client didn’t quite share my excitement for it. I felt really good about the concept of using the seagull shape as a stroke in the character A but the client, even though he liked the concept, really did not care for my choice of birds. This man seriously disliked seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, thankfully the rest of his friends and family did not share his contempt for this particular type of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a customer I urge all of them to discuss it with friends and colleagues and family as well as with other people that they don’t even know so as to get impartial assessments on the benefit of a design concept. Fortunately, he talked about it with his whole family and they really liked the concept and were able to persuade him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to insert every other seabird he could think of … ultimately I was able to talk him out of his choice of a pelican and he went with the original concept.

Logo designs are a strange creature in the design world because the people that tend to hire a professional to create their business logo recognize how essential a logo design is for their business so they are much more vested in the outcome. Every logo design project has it’s share of obstacles, however the largest obstacle is identifying that sweet spot in a design that works really well at the job it’s needed to do in branding a business and also providing the customer the image they see for themselves.

a red panda logo design with bamboo behind-the-scenes, design for Corcoran, California book publisher

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a cramped parcel of real estate to work with, however it really is the most vital part of a printed book since it is often the initial thing a person views in the book shop. Regarding a publishing company, it’s the best opportunity that they will likely ever get to promote their product and get their logo design in front of the men and women that purchase actual books.

This three color design is vivid, colorful and eye-catching and it leaves plenty of space for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design designed for an airline company in Los Angeles, the logo has 2 letter A's with benches customized to imply they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines come and depart but it seems that in many cases 1 of the items folks tend to recollect the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a smaller new venture commuter/shuttle airline company based in LA and while I’m not sure it actually “took off” their logo design didn’t ground them. The bookend A’s in their title lent itself well to imparting a good sense of airline flight and it was undoubtedly a victory.

Corcoran logo style used for advertising and marketing and a label style for Vintage Instance features an archaic typeface layout.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in brand-new cases for musical instruments, that seemed to be vintage cases. For this custom logo design I tried to come up with a logo that possessed a fluid vintage feel to it and could easily be utilized for everything from a web site to an insignia on brand new cases that seemed like they were from a different era.

Logo developed for an orthodontist in Corcoran, California, design include an arc with lines converging via it to indicate metal dental braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dentistry logos can be one of the most challenging and difficult logo projects due to the fact that it seems that virtually every dental professional features a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dentistry business logos are one of the most cliche ridden fields when it comes to company advertising, if restaurants approached their advertising in the exact same way dental practices do every one of their logo designs would be a picture trying to explain something they served, McDonalds would likely have an image of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind incorporating an illustration of something mouth related to a dentist’s logo nevertheless it has to be done subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental care profession.

I really love doing dental logo designs because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies the field of dentistry or a certain field of dental treatment like orthodontics without resorting to the stereotypical approach that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics provided such an opportunity and inevitably I created a concept that does not have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t overt, they are still implied in the concept. When I turned this particular design over to the customer the only smile that was obvious was really the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo made for a household nonprofit, the logo includes 4 personalities staggered in elevation to stand for a family unit with in the design.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation asked ImageCo to help them come up with a logo design that would be illustrative of the love that William McNally had for the people residing in his community. Many logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain pictures of a happy family, a cliche heavy technique to any logo design is to be very literal pertaining to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve found that the best designs are the ones that are downplayed and never hit the viewer on the head with what the business or organization wants to communicate.

The McNally Foundation’s name offered a distinct opportunity to do a logo design which conveyed that they were about families without being openly corny about it. The aim of a logo is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer attempts to use the logo design to summarize how individuals should think or feel they don’t understand the mission of a logo. If you have to think about a logo design to understand what it means, it has failed, a logo needs to be instantly understood and a logo design that explains itself won’t have the opportunity to be comprehended.

Logo style produced for a hair design studio including a manuscript font a hummingbird as well as an indicated orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios needed a business logo that conveyed an atmosphere of contentment and class for their new hair salon. I created a concept which did not go the obvious course of making simply a stylized orchid but instead designed a logo that suggested an orchid in the pattern of a swirl incorporated in to the letter O in the name and by putting attention on the logo design along with the silhouette of a hummingbird hovering over the logo design itself. The obvious path in designing a logo is more often than not the incorrect route and in this case, the design ended up not being about the flower but alternately laid the emphasis on the emotion that they really wanted to project to their customers.

Arabian steed logo design created for a horse ranch that concentrates on reproducing Arabian program equines.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

ImageCo created an original custom logo design tailored to exemplify the unique physical traits of the Arabian type of equines. With an unique head form and very high tail carriage, the Arabian is one of the very most quite easily identifiable horse lineages in the world.

Logo layout for a software application designer the design attributes and renowned component of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the principal part of an operating system (OS). Traditionally, the kernel is responsible for memory management, process and task management, and disk operations. The kernel attaches the computer hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that behaves as a bridge in between the software program and hardware.

The business logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a number of miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to identify anything to anyone regarding what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. But it meant something to the business owner of the business and in quite a few cases the meaning supporting a business logo is equally as important as how it brands the enterprise it represents.

A logo style including an angler in the middle of the name casting a fly in the direction of the customer.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brand names such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year selling supplies and equipment to outdoor sporting lovers the founders of On the Fly understood the market place was primed for an outdoor sporting store that operates as a consignment business. Whether or not you are into boating, fishing or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly presents a place for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all types of interests, a spot to market their pre-owned goods to other sports enthusiasts. I tailored their Corcoran logo dsign utilizing an image which garners the attention of vehicles and sends an image that arouses the enthusiasm of the outdoors. With traffic that averages forty five mph I realized it would take more than the average logo/sign to get commuters to take notice, hence the image of a fly fisherman in his natural and tranquil habitat.
Logo style MQ farms, this logo layout has actually a field integrated into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms custom logo concept wasn’t actually produced for an Corcoran, California regional farm it was really devised for a commodities broker, and this company logo was one of a handful of that fell beneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The end goal was really to develop a brand mark that projected confidence, success, and wealth.

Corcoran Logo design for a nonprofit, Transforming Factor Solutions - the logo style function for outwardly facing arrow as well as the arrowheads indicate that it is a diamond shape.

Turning Point Foundation | Logo Design

The Turning Point Foundation was totally open to what kind of logo design that they desired, this can be a good thing or a bad thing. Good in that it provides a designer the freedom to discover any concept that comes to mind, bad in that it’s difficult to hit a bullseye without realizing where the target is. Fortunately, in this particular case, I hit a bullseye with the very first try.

Logo made for the use of an indicator for the restaurant (Brewgrrs), it is an ornate script font style that is reminiscent of a famous sporting activities team logo design.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve created loads of restaurant logo designs and business signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments, and eateries all over the United States, from cupcake pastry shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a neat undertaking in which I worked closely with the business owner to develop a logo that worked very well and did a great job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the neon signage that hung over their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
