Corona, California Logo Design

Virtually every new Corona organization knows they require a logo, yet few entrepreneurs entirely are aware of the pivotal role their company logo will play in their becoming successful, or the reason that one logo design functions far better than another. A business logo has a critical and long term effect on the financial success of a business, pick the correct one and it will make the door swing and phone ring, select the incorrect one and it can be a barrier and a hindrance for the longevity of a business.

The logos featured in the ImageCo portfolio help Corona, California businesses succeed, they are effective in any given situation and the main reason they are so effective is because they all have these five traits in common.

  1. Simplicity: simple logo designs don’t demand contemplation, they can be grasped in merely a glance.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to billboards a scalable logo design will remain legible and just as emotive at any scale.
  3. Versatility: logos that function on any type of device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball-cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are exclusive, and they are suitable for the business they stand for.
  5. Relevance: a business logo must be timeless and should feel relevant today, tomorrow, and twenty five years from today.

Logo PORTFOLIO Volume 1

Retro logo layout of a bicycle produced for a Corona, California coffee cafe as well as a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This startup coffee roaster and coffee shop were actually opening up in an older part of town and hoped to project a retro tone without appearing as monotonous or low energy. I accomplished both of these tasks by means of creating a trademark concept that incorporates a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is antiquated, high energy, and is a timeless business image.

medical logo layout with a microscope slide and also germs created for Corona, California medical clinic.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science that analyzes the root causes and consequences of diseases, especially the field of healthcare that works with the clinical evaluation of samples of human body tissue for diagnostic or forensic objectives.

The Mid-Valley Pathology brand I came up with is really the only instance I recall where I was in a position to integrate a bacteria-laden microscope slide into a logo design.

Typically I try not to be excessively literal with a concept and to a point, this design approaches the company it serves rather literally, yet it does it in a fashion that incorporates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an explanation of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancer to the name that helps make it more intriguing, more focus grabbing and even more unforgettable.

logo design with a jumping eco-friendly frog designed for a family enjoyable facility in Corona, California.

Cool Springs | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really cool project to work on, probably because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s additionally a project that is way out of the norm of the kinds of projects that come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for doctors, dental experts, and legal professionals but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park which I have ever had the privilege to work on.

Given that the name of the company features the word springz in its name the obvious choice would have been to incorporate a few springs into the concept but Cool Springz is a fun place to go and spring doesn’t really resonate an atmosphere of fun does it. My thought process on this logo design project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, eventually I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the name itself to provide the logo a more lively high energy feel.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my design and named the frog Jax and integrated him in to everything they utilized for marketing and advertising. I also think this is the only time that a logo I came up with was transformed into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fabricated to look exactly like my frog design.

photography logo featuring a group of birds, a mountain, a route, a stream, and also a tree - developed for Corona, California travel professional photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo job I took on for a travel photographer, which is a pretty niche field of photography and I think it is a niche speciality due to the fact that travel photographers don’t capture locations or things but instead project emotional journeys through the pictures they record. The idea behind this logo concept was to make use of negative space to communicate more than what was visible upon initial view, which I think is quintessential of almost all good photographers in that they oftentimes tell whole stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words but I think that some photographs convey a great deal more than that because their photos often have an emotional fullness which can’t be communicated with just words. I attempted to do something similar to this logo by using the positive space in the design to voice one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in looking back, that my objective was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Corona logo but also to show the depth in her work and in the way that she perceives the world through the lens of her camera.

Corona logo style with a seagull used for the letter A. Designed for a cordless retail service.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The bulk of logo design jobs that I take on I really relish and the Coastal Wireless design was one that I certainly felt good about, but the client didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the concept of using the seagull shape as a stroke in the letter A however the client, while he loved the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This man really despised seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, fortunately the rest of his friends and family didn’t share his scorn for this specific variety of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a customer I urge them to talk about it with colleagues and family members as well as with other people that they don’t actually know so as to get objective opinions on the worthiness of a concept. Fortunately, he talked about it with his family members and they adored the design and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to insert every other seabird he could think of … eventually I was able to talk him out of his preference of a pelican and he proceeded with the original design.

Custom logo designs are a strange animal in the design world because the people that have a tendency to hire a professional to create their business logo comprehend how crucial a logo design is for their organization so they are way more vested in the end result. Every logo job possesses it’s allotment of obstacles, but the most significant obstacle is finding that sweet spot in a design that functions really well at the task it’s needed to do in branding a company and also giving the customer the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo design with bamboo behind-the-scenes, layout for Corona, California book author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a slender segment of real estate to work with, yet it really is the most important part of a published book given that it is in most cases the primary thing a person views in the bookstore. With regard to a publishing company, it’s the absolute best opportunity they will likely ever have to spotlight their label and get their logo design in front of the people that shop for actual books.

This three color design is vibrant, colorful and eye-catching and it gives plenty of area for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo created for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo design has two letter A's with benches modified to imply they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines come and depart yet it seems that in many instances one of the aspects individuals usually tend to recollect the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a small fledgling commuter/shuttle airline located in LA and while I’m not sure it really “took off” their custom logo didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their brand lent itself well to affording a good sense of air travel and it was undoubtedly a victory.

Corona logo design utilized for advertising and also a label layout for Vintage Case features an archaic font style.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case focused in brand new cases for musical instruments, that appeared to be antique cases. For this custom logo design I sought to come up with a logo that provided a fluid old style feel to it and could be utilized for everything from a website to an insignia on brand new cases that seemed like they were from a different era.

Logo design developed for an orthodontist in Corona, California, layout include an arc with lines converging through it to imply metal braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental care logo designs can easily be one of the most challenging and difficult logo jobs considering that it seems that virtually every dentist features a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dentistry logos are one of the very most cliche ridden careers when it comes to company advertising, if restaurants approached their advertising in the same way dentists do every one of their company logos would definitely be a picture trying to explain something they served, McDonalds would most likely contain a picture of a potato and a cow.

I understand the thinking behind adding an illustration of something mouth related to a dentist’s logo design nevertheless it has to be done subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dental professionals logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental profession.

I really really love doing dentist business logos because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a specific area of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the stereotypical solution that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics offered such an opportunity and ultimately I created a layout that does not have a single smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t overt, they are still suggested in the concept. When I turned this concept over to the client the only smile that was obvious was actually the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo design designed for a family not-for-profit, the logo design includes 4 characters staggered in height to represent a family with in the layout.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation reached out to ImageCo to help them come up with a logo design that would be representative of the devotion that William McNally had for the people in his city. The majority of logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain depictions of a happy family, a cliche heavy method to any logo design is to be very literal with regards to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve found that the best designs are the ones that are understated and never hit the viewer on the head with what the company or institution wishes to relate.

The McNally Foundation’s name offered a distinct opportunity to do a logo design that communicated that they were about families without being overtly tacky about it. The intention of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer makes an effort to use the logo design to summarize specifically how individuals ought to think or feel they don’t understand the goal of a logo. If people have to ponder a logo to understand what it means, it has been in vain, a logo needs to be immediately understood and a logo that illustrates itself won’t have the likelihood to be understood.

Logo layout created for a hair style workshop featuring a manuscript font a hummingbird and also a suggested orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios wanted a logo design that communicated a sense of contentment and elegance for their new hair salon. I created a concept that didn’t go the obvious course of making merely a stylized orchid but instead created a logo design that implied a flower in the pattern of a swirl blended in to the letter O in the name and by placing attention on the logo design with the figure of a hummingbird floating over the logo itself. The obvious path in designing a company logo is oftentimes the wrong course and in this case, the design ended up not being about the flower but instead laid the main focus on the feeling that they really wanted to forecast to their customers.

Logo style for a software programmer the design features and also legendary aspect of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the central component of an operating system (OS). Traditionally, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task management, and hard drive operations. The kernel links the computer hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that acts as a connection between the software and hardware.

The logo design I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a couple of miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to point out anything to anyone about what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. But it meant something to the business owner of the company and in many cases the meaning supporting a business logo is equally as important as how it brands the business it represents.

A logo layout featuring a fisherman in the center of the name casting a fly towards the viewer.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brands like Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year offering goods and equipment to outdoor sporting lovers the founders of On the Fly recognized the market was prepared for an outdoor sporting merchant that operates as a consignment business. Whether or not you are into boating, fishing or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a place for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all types of passions, a spot to sell their used items to other sports enthusiasts. I created their Corona logo dsign utilizing an illustration that garners the attention of traffic and projects an image that calls to mind the passion of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages forty five mph I knew it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the illustration of a fly fisherman in his natural and calm habitat.
Logo layout MQ farms, this logo layout has an area incorporated into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms business logo design wasn’t really designed for an Corona, California area farm it was really devised for an investments broker, and this trademark was one of multiple that fell beneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The goal was really to design a brand mark that projects self-assurance, financial success, and luxury.

Corona Logo design for a nonprofit, Turning Point Solutions - the logo layout function for outwardly dealing with arrowhead and also the arrowheads indicate that it is a diamond shape.

Turning Point Foundation | Logo Design

The Turning Point Foundation was totally open to what type of logo design they would like, that can be a good thing or a bad thing. Good in that it offers a designer the liberty to investigate any idea that comes to mind, bad in that it’s difficult to hit a bullseye without knowing where exactly the target is. Thankfully, in this particular instance, I struck a bullseye with the 1st go.

Logo made for making use of an indicator for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is an ornate manuscript font that is reminiscent of a well-known sports team logo design.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I have crafted quite a lot of restaurant logo designs and business signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the United States, from cupcake pastry shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I believe Brewgrrs was my favorite. Brewgrrs was a great project in which I worked closely with the proprietor to design a logo design which worked very well and did a fantastic job to brand them, it functioned on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the neon signage which hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very legible from over a block away.
