Dinuba Logo Design

Each and every new Dinuba company knows they require a logo, but few entrepreneurs thoroughly grasp the essential role their business logo will perform in their success, or precisely why one logo works far better than another. A logo design has a critical and long term influence on the prosperity of a company, go with the right one and it will make the door swing and phone ring, select the wrong one and it can be a barrier and an impediment for the life span of a company. The logos presented in the ImageCo portfolio help Dinuba businesses succeed, they are effective in any given circumstance and the main reason they are so effective is that they all have these 5 features in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logos don’t demand deliberation, they can be understood in just a glance.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to signboards a scalable logo design will remain legible and just as emotive at virtually any dimension.
  3. Versatility: logos that operate on any sort of device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are personal, and they are suitable for the enterprise they represent.
  5. Relevance: a company logo must be lasting and should feel relevant today, tomorrow, and twenty years from now.

Retro logo style of a bicycle created for a Dinuba coffee cafe as well as a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This fledgling coffee roaster and coffeehouse were actually opening up in an older part of the town and hoped to project a retro feel without appearing as boring or low energy. I accomplished both jobs via developing a sign concept that incorporates a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, higher energy, and is a enduring business image.

medical logo design with a microscope slide and also germs created for Dinuba medical center.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the scientific discipline that analyzes the root causes and effects of diseases, especially the branch of medicine which works with the laboratory examination of samples of body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic intents.

The Mid-Valley Pathology logo design I came up with is the only instance I recall where I was in a position to integrate a bacteria-laden microscope slide within a business logo design.

Usually I try not to be extremely literal with a concept and to a degree, this specific design approaches the company it represents very literally, yet it does it in a fashion that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as a description of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the name that makes it more captivating, more focus grabbing and more meaningful.

logo layout with a leaping green frog made for a family members enjoyable center in Dinuba.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really fun project to work on, probably because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the usual of the sorts of projects that come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for doctors, dentists, and legal professionals but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park which I have actually ever gotten the opportunity to work on.

Given that the title of the company has the word springz in its name the apparent choice would have been to incorporate a few springs into the concept but Cool Springz is a fun destination to go and spring does not really resonate an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this logo design project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, inevitably I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the name itself to give the logo a more enthusiastic high energy feel.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my brainchild and named the frog Jax and integrated him in to everything they utilized for promotion and marketing. I also believe this is the only time that a logo I did was made into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fashioned to look just like my frog design.

photography logo featuring a group of birds, a hill, a trail, a stream, and also a tree - created for Dinuba travel photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a rather niche field of photography and I believe it is a niche sector due to the fact that travel photographers tend not to capture places or things but rather communicate emotional experiences through the pictures they record. The thought behind this logo design was to make use of negative space to convey more than what was visible upon initial glance, which I think is representative of most professional photographers in that they frequently convey whole stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words but I think that some photographs convey a great deal more than that because their photos frequently have an emotional resonance which can’t be conveyed with just words. I attempted to do something much the same to this logo by employing the positive space in the design to suggest one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Dinuba logo design but also to show the depth of her work and in the way that she views the world through the lens of her camera.

Dinuba logo layout with a seagull used for the letter A. Designed for a cordless retail organisation.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The bulk of logo design jobs that I take on I honestly savor and the Coastal Wireless design was one that I certainly felt good about, however the customer didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the concept of using the seagull shape as a stroke in the character A but my customer, while he loved the concept, really did not care for my choice of birds. This particular man truly loathed seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, fortunately the rest of his friends and family did not share his contempt for this specific kind of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a client I urge them to discuss it with colleagues and family members as well as with folks that they don’t actually know so as to get objective viewpoints on the merit of a design. Fortunately, he talked about it with his family members and they really liked the concept and were able to persuade him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to insert every other seabird he could think of … eventually I was able to talk him out of his preference of a pelican and he went with the original concept.

Business logos are a weird creature in the design world because the people that tend to hire a professional to design their logo comprehend how vital a logo is for their business so they are way more vested in the result. Every logo design job has it’s share of difficulties, however the greatest challenge is identifying that sweet spot in a design that functions really well at the job it’s required to do in branding a business and also giving the customer the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo design with bamboo in the background, design for Dinuba book author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a narrow slice of real estate to work with, but it is the most necessary part of a published book given that it is in most cases the first thing a person views in the book store. With regard to a publisher, it’s the absolute best opportunity they will likely ever get to spotlight their brand and get their logo design in front of the people that shop for actual books.

This 3 color design is vibrant, colorful and eye-catching and it gives plenty of territory for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo created for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo has 2 letter A's with the bars modified to suggest they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines come and go however it looks like that in many instances one of the things consumers tend to recollect the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a modest start-up commuter/shuttle air service located in LA and while I’m not sure it really “took off” their logo didn’t ground them. The bookend A’s in their title lent itself well to affording a spirit of flight and it was undoubtedly a victory.

Dinuba logo layout used for advertising and marketing as well as a tag style for Vintage Instance features an archaic font layout.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case focused in all new cases for music instruments, that seemed to be older cases. For this logo design I attempted to come up with a logo that possessed a fluid old-fashioned feel to it and could easily be used for anything from a web page to an insignia on brand new cases that appeared like they were from a different era.

Logo design produced for an orthodontist in Dinuba, design consist of an arc with lines intersecting via it to suggest metal braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental logo designs can be one of the most difficult logo design jobs because it seems that each and every dental professional features a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental business logos are one of the most cliche ridden fields when it comes to business advertising, if dining establishments approached their branding in the same way dental offices do every one of their company logos would be a picture trying to explain anything they served, McDonalds would most likely contain an image of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind incorporating a likeness of something mouth related to a dentist’s company logo nevertheless it has to be done subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dentistry industry.

I really love doing dentist logo designs because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a certain field of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the stereotypical course of action that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics provided such an opportunity and ultimately I created a design that does not have a single smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still suggested in the design. When I turned this design over to the customer the only smile that was obvious was the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo design developed for a household not-for-profit, the logo design features 4 personalities surprised in elevation to represent a family with in the style.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation reached out to ImageCo to help them come up with a brand identity design that would be illustrative of the love that William McNally had for the people in his community. Most logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain images of a happy family, a cliche heavy approach to any logo design is to be overly literal with regards to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve found that the best designs are the ones that are downplayed and don’t hit the viewer on the head with what the business or institution wants to project.

The McNally Foundation’s name provided a distinct opportunity to do a custom logo design which communicated that they were about families without being overtly corny about it. The objective of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer attempts to use the logo design to illustrate specifically how people should think or feel they don’t understand the objective of a logo. If you have to ponder a logo to understand what it means, it has fallen short, a logo needs to be immediately comprehended and a logo that explains itself will never have the opportunity to be understood.

Logo design produced for a hair style studio including a script font a hummingbird as well as a suggested orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios wanted a logo design which conveyed an atmosphere of contentment and connection for their new hair studio. I came up with a design that did not go the obvious course of crafting merely a stylized orchid but instead designed a logo design that implied an orchid in the formation of a swirl blended in to the letter O in the name and by placing attention on the logo design along with the silhouette of a hummingbird floating above the logo design itself. The obvious path in creating a company logo is generally the incorrect path and in this case, the design ended up not being about the flower but alternately put the focus on the perception that they really wanted to project to their patrons.

Logo layout for a software developer the layout attributes as well as iconic element of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the principal part of an operating system (OS). Generally, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task control, and hard drive management. The kernel attaches the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that acts as a bridge between the software and computer hardware.

The logo design I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a number of miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to identify anything to anyone with regards to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. Nevertheless it represented something to the business owner of the business and in quite a few cases the significance supporting a logo design is just as important as how it serves the organization it stands for.

Progress logo layout created for a Dinuba interior developer, layout function a series of red circles that converge and also replace the letter O in the middle of the logo layout.

Advanced Leadership Solutions | Logo Design | Website Design

A logo design including an angler in the middle of the name casting a fly in the direction of the audience.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brands such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year selling supplies and equipment to outdoor sporting enthusiasts the founders of On the Fly understood the market was ready for an outdoor sporting retailer that functions as a consignment company. Whether or not you are into boating, angling or mountain climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a location for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all kinds of passions, a spot to sell off their used equipment to other sports enthusiasts. I designed their Dinuba logo dsign with a graphic that pulls in the attention of vehicles and projects an image that wakens the passion of the outdoors. With traffic that averages 45 mph I knew it would take more than the average logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the image of a fly fisherman in his natural and relaxed habitat.
Logo layout MQ farms, this logo layout has actually an area included right into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms brand concept wasn’t actually produced for an Dinuba regional farm it was actually devised for an investments broker, and this logo was one of a handful of that fell beneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The aim was to make a image that projects self-confidence, financial success, and prosperity.
Logo design developed for using an indicator for the restaurant (Brewgrrs), it is a luxuriant manuscript font that is reminiscent of a well-known sports team logo design.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I have designed dozens of restaurant logos and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the US, from cupcake bakeries to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a great undertaking in which I worked closely with the owner to develop a business logo which worked very well and did a fantastic job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the illuminated signage that hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
