El Cajon Logo Design

Each and every new El Cajon organization understands that they require a logo, yet few entrepreneurs thoroughly grasp the crucial role their business logo will make in their financial success, or precisely why one business logo functions better than another. A business logo has a critical and lasting influence on the financial success of a business, go with the right one and it can make the door swing and phone ring, go with the incorrect one and it can be a barrier and an impediment for the life of an organization. The logos included in the ImageCo portfolio help El Cajon businesses succeed, they are effective in any given circumstance and the reason they are so effective is that they all have these 5 features in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logo designs do not require contemplation, they can be grasped in merely a glimpse.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to billboards a scalable logo design will stay legible and just as emotive at any dimension.
  3. Versatility: logos that function on any device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball-cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are unique, and they are suitable for the enterprise they represent.
  5. Relevance: a company logo needs to be ageless and should feel relevant today, tomorrow, and twenty years from now.

Retro logo style of a bicycle created for a El Cajon coffee cafe as well as a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This budding coffee roaster and coffeehouse were actually opening in an old section of the town and wished to visualize a retro atmosphere without appearing as stodgy or low energy. I achieved each of the jobs by means of creating a company logo design that includes a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, higher energy, and is a enduring business image.

clinical logo layout with a microscope slide and germs designed for El Cajon clinical facility.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science which investigates the triggers and outcomes of diseases, mainly the field of healthcare that deals with the clinical assessment of specimens of human body tissue for diagnostic or forensic intents.

The Mid-Valley Pathology custom logo design I came up with is really the sole instance I recall in which I was in a position to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide within a logo design.

Normally I try not to be overly literal with a concept and to a point, this specific design approaches the company it serves fairly literally, however it does it in a fashion that incorporates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an illustration of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the brand that makes it more intriguing, more focus grabbing and much more unforgettable.

logo layout with a leaping environment-friendly frog made for a household fun center in El Cajon.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a very cool project to work on, probably because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the usual of the kinds of jobs that come my way, I’ve produced dozens of logo designs for physicians, dental experts, and lawyers but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park which I have actually ever had the privilege to work on.

Given that the title of the company features the word springz in its name the obvious choice would have been to incorporate a couple of springs into the concept but Cool Springz is a fun location to go and spring doesn’t actually resonate an atmosphere of fun does it. My thought process on this project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, eventually I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to give the logo a more enthusiastic high energy mood.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my brainchild and named the frog Jax and incorporated him in to everything they utilized for marketing. I also believe this is the only time that a logo I created was made into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fabricated to look just like my frog design.

photography logo design featuring a group of birds, a hill, a trail, a stream, and also a tree - created for El Cajon traveling photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo job I took on for a travel photographer, which is a fairly specialized field of photography and I believe it is a niche field due to the fact that travel photographers tend not to shoot locations or things but instead convey emotional experiences through the images they capture. The thought behind this logo concept was to use negative space to project more than what was visible upon first view, which I think is representative of the majority of professional photographers in that they frequently share whole stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words but I think that some photographs convey much more than that because their photos frequently have an emotional resonance that can’t be conveyed with just words. I attempted to do something similar to this logo by making use of the positive space in the design to suggest one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my objective was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  El Cajon logo design but also to reveal the depth in her work and in the way that she views the world through the lens of her camera.

El Cajon logo design with a seagull utilized for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail organisation.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The bulk of custom logo design jobs that I take on I genuinely enjoy and the Coastal Wireless design was one that I really felt good about, but the customer didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the concept of using the seagull shape as a stroke in the letter A but my client, even though he loved the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This man really despised seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, thankfully the rest of his friends and family did not share his contempt for this particular breed of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a client I encourage all of them to talk about it with friends and family as well as with folks that they don’t even know so as to get honest opinions on the value of a design concept. Fortunately, he talked about it with his whole family and they loved the design and were able to persuade him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to insert every other seabird he could think of … ultimately I was able to talk him out of his preference of a pelican and he went with the original design.

Custom logo designs are a weird creature in the design world because the people that tend to hire an expert to create their logo design realize how vital a logo design is for their company so they are way more vested in the result. Every logo job has it’s allotment of hurdles, but the largest obstacle is identifying that sweet spot in a design that functions really well at the task it’s needed to do in branding a company and also giving the client the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo layout with bamboo in the background, design for El Cajon publication publisher

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a thin segment of real estate to work with, nevertheless it is the most necessary part of a published book given that it is often the first thing a person sees in the bookstore. With regard to a publishing company, it’s the opportunity that they will ever get to promote their brand and get their logo design in front of the people that shop for actual books.

This 3 color design is vivid, picturesque and eye-catching and it leaves plenty of space for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo developed for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo design has 2 letter A's with the bars modified to indicate they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and go nevertheless it seems that in many instances one of the things consumers tend to recollect the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a small start-up commuter/shuttle air service situated in LA and while I’m not sure it actually “took off” their organization logo didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their brand lent itself well to conferring a spirit of airline flight and it was surely a success.

El Cajon logo design utilized for advertising and marketing and a tag style for Vintage Case features an old-fashioned typeface style.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in new cases for music instruments, which seemed to be older cases. For this business logo design I tried to come up with a logo that provided a fluid old-fashioned feel to it and could be utilized for anything from a website to a label on brand new cases that seemed like they were from a different generation.

Logo design produced for an orthodontist in El Cajon, design consist of an arc with lines intersecting through it to imply steel braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental logo designs can be one of the most difficult logo design jobs because it appears that every single dental professional features a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental business logos are one of the very most cliche ridden careers when it comes to small business marketing, if dining establishments approached their advertising in the same way dental practices do every one of their logo designs would definitely be a picture trying to explain something they served, McDonalds would most likely have a picture of a potato and a cow.

I understand the thinking behind including an illustration of something mouth related to a dentist’s logo nevertheless it has to be done subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dentistry profession.

I really love doing dental care business logos because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies the field of dentistry or a specific area of the field of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd solution that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics provided such an opportunity and ultimately I created a concept that doesn’t have a single smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t overt, they are still suggested in the concept. When I turned this concept over to the customer the only smile that was evident was really the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo designed for a family members nonprofit, the logo design includes 4 characters startled in height to represent a family with in the design.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation contacted ImageCo to help them come up with a logo that would be illustrative of the love that William McNally had for the people residing in his community. Many logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain images of a happy family, a cliche heavy method to any logo design is to be far too literal with regards to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best designs are the ones that are downplayed and never hit the viewer on the head with what the company or institution wishes to convey.

The McNally Foundation’s name offered a distinct opportunity to do a custom logo design which conveyed that they were about families without being openly tacky about it. The intention of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer tries to use the logo to explain exactly how people should think or feel they don’t understand the goal of a logo. If you have to consider a logo design to understand what it means, it has failed, a logo needs to be immediately comprehended and a logo design that describes itself won’t have the likelihood to be understood.

Logo design produced for a hair style studio featuring a script font a hummingbird as well as an indicated orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios required a company logo that conveyed an atmosphere of relaxation and class for their new hair salon. I came up with a design which did not go the obvious path of crafting merely a stylized orchid but instead crafted a business logo that implied a flower in the formation of a swirl incorporated into the letter O in the title and by placing emphasis on the logo design with the silhouette of a hummingbird hovering over the image itself. The obvious path in creating a company logo is more often than not the incorrect course and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but instead laid the main focus on the perception that they wanted to transmit to their clients.

Arabian equine logo design developed for a horse ranch that concentrates on reproducing Arabian program equines.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

ImageCo designed a one-of-a-kind creative logo concept styled to illustrate the unique physical traits of the Arabian kind of equines. With a different head shape and high tail posture, the Arabian is one of the highly easily identifiable equine types in the entire world.

Logo layout for a software programmer the design features and famous element of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the central part of an operating system (OS). Typically, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task control, and disk operations. The kernel unites the computer hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that performs as a bridge in between the software program and hardware.

The logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is located a couple of miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to describe anything to anyone regarding what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. Nevertheless it symbolized something to the owner of the business and in quite a few cases the substance behind a company logo is just as important as how it serves the company it stands for.

Progress logo layout produced for a El Cajon indoor designer, layout attribute a series of red circles that converge and change the letter O in the center of the logo style.

Evolv Interior Design | Logo Design | Branding

Advanced Leadership Solutions | Logo Design | Website Design

This particular El Cajon logo design job was performed for a management guide that aids business leaders to become more successful at overseeing people, expectations, and productivity.

A logo style including a fisherman in the middle of the name casting a fly towards the viewer.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brand names like Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in over 7 billion a year selling supplies and equipment to outdoor sporting enthusiasts the founders of On the Fly knew the market place was ready for an outdoor sporting store that operates as a consignment firm. Whether you are into boating, sportfishing or mountain climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly presents a venue for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all sorts of passions, a place to sell their used products to other sports enthusiasts. I tailored their El Cajon logo design dsign along with an image that seizes the attention of vehicles and projects an image that calls to mind the passion of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages forty five miles per hour I realized it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the picture of a fly fisherman in his natural and relaxed habitat.
Logo layout MQ farms, this logo style has an area included right into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms business logo idea wasn’t really developed for an El Cajon area farm it was really developed for a products broker, and this particular creative logo was one of several that fell underneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The objective was actually to develop an identity that projects trust, effectiveness, and opulence.
Logo designed for making use of an indicator for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is a luxuriant manuscript font style that is evocative a popular sports team logo design.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve created quite a lot of restaurant logo designs and business signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the United States, from cupcake pastry shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my favorite. Brewgrrs was a great project in which I worked closely with the proprietor to produce a logo which worked really well and did a fantastic job to brand them, it functioned on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the neon sign which hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
