Fresno Logo Design

Nearly every new Fresno company knows they require a logo, however few entrepreneurs entirely comprehend the key role their company logo can perform in their becoming successful, or exactly why one business logo functions more effectively than another. A business logo has an instant and long term effect on the financial success of a business, go with the right one and it can make the door swing and cash register ring, choose the wrong one and it will be an obstacle and an impediment for the life of an organization. The logos included in the ImageCo portfolio help Fresno businesses succeed, they are effective in any given scenario and the reason they are so effective is that they all have these 5 features in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logos do not demand deliberation, they can be realized in merely a glance.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to signboards a scalable logo will continue to be legible and just as emotive at every size.
  3. Versatility: logos that work on any device, in print, on product packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are exclusive, and they are suitable for the company they stand for.
  5. Relevance: a business logo should be lasting and should feel relevant today, tomorrow, and forty years from now.

Retro logo design of a bicycle produced for a Fresno coffee cafe as well as a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This startup coffee roaster and cafe were opening up in an older section of the town and wished to visualize a nostalgic atmosphere without coming across as boring or low energy. I accomplished the two jobs by developing a company logo design that includes a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, higher energy, and is a timeless business image.

medical logo style with a microscope slide and also bacteria made for Fresno medical clinic.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the scientific discipline that analyzes the root causes and effects of diseases, especially the field of medicine that deals with the clinical examination of specimens of body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic intents.

The Mid-Valley Pathology brand I came up with is really the sole instance I recollect where I was in a position to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide into a business logo design.

Generally I try not to be extremely literal with a design and to a point, this design approaches the company it represents fairly literally, but it does it in a way that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as a description of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the name that makes it more captivating, more interest grabbing and even more meaningful.

logo style with a leaping green frog made for a family enjoyable facility in Fresno.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really fun project to work on, probably because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the norm of the sorts of jobs that come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for medical professionals, dental practices, and attorneys but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park that I have actually ever had the opportunity to work on.

Given that the title of the company features the word springz in its name the obvious choice would have been to include a handful of springs into the concept but Cool Springz is a fun destination to go and spring doesn’t really resonate an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this logo project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, inevitably I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the name itself to give the logo a better enthusiastic high energy impression.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my concept and named the frog Jax and featured him in to everything they used for promotion and marketing. I also believe this is the only time that a logo I designed was transformed into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fashioned to look exactly like my frog design.

photography logo featuring a group of birds, a mountain, a path, a stream, and a tree - made for Fresno travel digital photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo job I took on for a travel photographer, which is a pretty specialized field of photography and I think it is a niche field because travel photographers don’t capture locations or things but instead convey emotional journeys by means of the pictures they capture. The idea behind this logo composition was to make use of negative space to reveal more than what was visible upon initial glance, which I think is representative of most good photographers in that they frequently convey entire stories through their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey a great deal more than that because their photos often have an emotional resonance that can’t be revealed with just words. I attempted to do something the same to this logo by employing the positive space in the design to suggest one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was communicated through the first impression. I think, in looking back, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Fresno logo but also to show the depth of her work and in the way that she views the world through the lens of her camera.

Fresno logo layout with a seagull used for the letter A. Designed for a cordless retail service.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The majority of business logo design projects that I take on I really relish and the Coastal Wireless design was one that I certainly felt good about, however the client didn’t quite share my excitement for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull shape as a stroke in the character A but my customer, even though he loved the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This particular guy truly disliked seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, luckily the rest of his family did not share his hatred for this particular type of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a customer I encourage them to share it with colleagues and family members as well as with individuals that they don’t actually know so as to get unprejudiced viewpoints on the value of a concept. Fortunately, he talked about it with his family and they loved the concept and were able to persuade him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to include every other seabird he could think of … in the end I was able to talk him out of his alternative of a pelican and he went with the original concept.

Business logos are a strange animal in the design world because the people that have a tendency to hire an expert to create their logo realize how crucial a logo design is for their business so they are way more invested in the final result. Every logo design project has it’s share of challenges, but the greatest obstacle is identifying that sweet spot in a design that works really well at the task it’s needed to do in branding a company and also giving the client the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo style with bamboo in the background, layout for Fresno book author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a slender slice of real estate to work with, however it is the most essential part of a published book given that it is in most cases the primary thing a person sees in the book store. Concerning a publishing company, it’s the optimal opportunity that they will likely ever get to publicize their brand and get their logo design in front of the men and women that purchase actual books.

This 3 color design is vivid, colorful and eye-catching and it leaves plenty of space for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design developed for an airline company in Los Angeles, the logo design has 2 letter A's with the bars changed to suggest they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and depart nevertheless it seems like that in many instances 1 of the aspects folks usually tend to recall the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a small startup commuter/shuttle airline company located in LA and while I’m not sure it actually “took off” their custom logo didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their brand lent itself well to imparting a good sense of flight and it was certainly a winner.

Fresno logo design used for advertising as well as a tag layout for Vintage Case includes an old font style.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in brand-new cases for musical instruments, that looked to be vintage cases. For this brand concept I sought to come up with a logo that had a fluid old-fashioned feel to it and could easily be used for anything from a web site to a label on brand new cases that appeared like they were from a different point in time.

Logo developed for an orthodontist in Fresno, layout consist of an arc with lines intersecting with it to imply metal braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dentistry logo designs can easily be one of the most difficult logo design projects because it appears that virtually every dentist incorporates a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental logo designs are one of the very most cliche ridden fields when it comes to company marketing, if restaurants approached their advertising in the very same way dental practitioners do every one of their company logos would be a picture trying to explain anything they served, McDonalds would most likely have a picture of a potato and a cow.

I understand the thinking behind including an image of something mouth related to a dentist’s logo design nevertheless it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dental professionals logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental care industry.

I really enjoy doing dental logos because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a particular field of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd solution that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics delivered such an opportunity and inevitably I created a concept that doesn’t have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still suggested in the design. When I turned this particular concept over to the customer the only smile that was obvious was really the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo made for a family not-for-profit, the logo design features 4 characters surprised in elevation to represent a family unit with in the design.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation asked ImageCo to help them come up with a logo design that would be depictive of the devotion that William McNally had for the people in his city. Many logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain images of a happy family, a cliche heavy approach to any logo design is to be very literal about what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve found that the best designs are the ones that are downplayed and never hit the viewer on the head with what the company or organization wishes to relate.

The McNally Foundation’s name provided a unique opportunity to do a logo design that communicated that they were about families without being openly cheesy about it. The objective of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer tries to use the logo design to illustrate specifically how people should think or feel they don’t understand the objective of a logo. If people have to ponder a logo design to understand what it means, it has been in vain, a logo needs to be instantly understood and a logo that explains itself won’t have the likelihood to be comprehended.

Logo style created for a hair design studio featuring a manuscript font a hummingbird and also an indicated orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios wanted a logo design which communicated a spirit of tranquility and class for their new hair studio. I came up with a design which didn’t go the obvious path of creating merely a stylized orchid but alternatively created a logo design which suggested an orchid in the formation of a swirl blended in to the letter O in the name and by placing attention on the concept along with the silhouette of a hummingbird hovering over the logo itself. The obvious path in designing a logo design is in most cases the incorrect direction and in this case, the design ended up not being about the flower but instead placed the main focus on the feeling that they wanted to transmit to their patrons.

Arabian steed logo design developed for a steed ranch that concentrates on breeding Arabian program horses.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

ImageCo crafted an original business logo concept fashioned to exemplify the unique physical traits of the Arabian breed of horses. By having an unique head form and very high tail posture, the Arabian is one of the highly immediately recognizable horse types in the entire world.

Las Cafe logo design a little dining establishment, layout consists of a modified script font style which hovers over a team of luxuriant lines and dots.

Logo layout for a software designer the style attributes as well as famous component of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the central component of an operating system (OS). Typically, the kernel is responsible for memory management, process and task management, and drive managing. The kernel connects the computer hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that functions as a connection between the software and hardware.

The logo design I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is located a number of miles from the offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to identify anything to anyone pertaining to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However, it meant something to the business owner of the company and in many cases the symbolism behind a business logo is equally as important as how it serves the organization it represents.

Evolve logo style created for a Fresno indoor developer, layout feature a collection of red circles that intersect and also replace the letter O in the center of the logo layout.

A logo style including a fisherman in the middle of the name casting a fly in the direction of the customer.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brand names such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year offering supplies and equipment to outdoor sporting enthusiasts the founders of On the Fly recognized the market place was prepared for an outdoor sporting merchant that functions as a consignment business. Whether you are into boating, angling or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a destination for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all kinds of interests, a location to market their pre-owned goods to other sports enthusiasts. I created their Fresno business logo dsign along with a graphic which captures the interest of vehicles and sends an image that invokes the enthusiasm of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages forty five mph I realized it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get commuters to take notice, hence the picture of a fly fisherman in his natural and serene habitat.
Logo layout MQ ranches, this logo style has a field incorporated into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms company logo idea wasn’t actually produced for an Fresno regional farm it was really designed for a products broker, and this creative logo was one of several which fell beneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The objective was really to create a brand mark that projects self-confidence, financial success, and luxury.
Logo design created for using a sign for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is a luxuriant manuscript font style that is similar to a renowned sports team logo.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I have created quite a lot of restaurant logo designs and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the US, from cupcake bake shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I believe Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a neat undertaking where I worked closely with the owner to produce a logo design that worked really well and did a great job to brand them, it functioned on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the neon signage that hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very legible from over a block away.
