Galt Logo Design

Each and every new Galt company understands that they are in need of a logo, yet few new business owners thoroughly realize the vital role their business logo can make in their becoming successful, or exactly why one logo design functions more effectively than another. A company logo has a critical and sustaining effect on the financial success of a company, choose the correct one and it will make the door swing and phone ring, choose the wrong one and it can be a barrier and an impediment for the life of a company. The logos included in the ImageCo portfolio help Galt businesses prosper, they are effective in any given circumstance and the reason why they are so effective is because they all have these 5 features in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logos don’t require contemplation, they can be understood in just a look.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to signboards a scalable logo will stay legible and just as emotive at any size.
  3. Versatility: logos that operate on any device, in print, on product packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball-cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are exclusive, and they are suitable for the business they represent.
  5. Relevance: a logo needs to be enduring and should feel relevant today, tomorrow, and 20 years from today.

Retro logo design of a bike created for a Galt coffee cafe and also a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This startup coffee roaster and coffee bar were actually opening in an old part of the town and wanted to visualize a vintage tone without coming across as uninteresting or low energy. I accomplished both jobs via designing a logo design that uses a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, higher energy, and is a enduring business image.

clinical logo design with a microscope slide as well as germs designed for Galt medical facility.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science that researches the causes and consequences of diseases, especially the branch of healthcare which works with the laboratory evaluation of samplings of body tissue for diagnostic or forensic purposes.

The Mid-Valley Pathology brand I came up with is the only instance I call to mind in which I was able to integrate a bacteria-laden microscope slide into a logo design.

Generally I try not to be extremely literal with a design and to a point, this design approaches the company it serves rather literally, but it does it in a fashion that incorporates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an illustration of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancer to the name that makes it more interesting, more interest grabbing and much more meaningful.

logo design with a jumping eco-friendly frog developed for a household enjoyable center in Galt.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a very cool project to work on, probably because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s additionally a project that is way out of the usual of the types of jobs which come my way, I’ve produced dozens of logo designs for physicians, dental offices, and lawyers but Cool Springz is without question the one and only trampoline park that I have ever had the privilege to work on.

Given that the name of the company has the word springz in its name the apparent choice would have been to include a couple springs into the concept but Cool Springz is a fun location to go and spring doesn’t really reflect an atmosphere of fun does it. My thought process on this project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, inevitably I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to give the logo a much more enthusiastic high energy feeling.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my concept and named the frog Jax and featured him in to everything they utilized for marketing. I also think this is the only time that a logo I created was transformed into a mascot when they had an employee costume fabricated to look exactly like my frog design.

photography logo design featuring a flock of birds, a hill, a trail, a stream, and a tree - developed for Galt travel photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo design job I took on for a travel photographer, which is a rather specialized field of photography and I believe it is a niche sector due to the fact that travel photographers tend not to shoot locations or things but instead project emotional experiences by means of the pictures they record. The idea behind this logo concept was to utilize negative space to project more than what was visible upon first view, which I think is representative of most good photographers in that they often convey whole stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey a lot more than that because their photos often have an emotional fullness that can’t be revealed with mere words. I tried to do something the same to this logo by employing the positive space in the design to voice one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was communicated through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Galt logo design but also to show the depth of her work and in the way that she views the world through the lens of her camera.

Galt logo design with a seagull made use of for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail company.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The bulk of business logo design projects that I take on I honestly relish and the Coastal Wireless design was one that I certainly felt good about, however the customer didn’t quite share my excitement for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull silhouette as a stroke in the letter A but the client, even though he liked the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This guy seriously despised seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, thankfully the rest of his family didn’t share his scorn for this specific type of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a customer I urge them to share it with friends and colleagues and family members as well as with people that they don’t even know so as to get unprejudiced opinions on the merit of a concept. Fortunately, he shared it with his family members and they really liked the concept and were able to persuade him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to incorporate every other seabird he could think of … in the end I was able to talk him out of his preference of a pelican and he went with the original concept.

Custom logo designs are a weird animal in the design world because the people that have a tendency to hire a professional to design their business logo realize how important a logo design is for their company so they are way more vested in the final result. Every logo design project possesses it’s allotment of difficulties, but the largest obstacle is identifying that sweet spot in a design that works really well at the job it’s required to do in branding a company and also providing the client the image they see for themselves.

a red panda logo design with bamboo in the background, style for Galt publication publisher

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a thin parcel of real estate to work with, yet it really is the most critical part of a published book because it is ordinarily the primary thing a person views in the book store. For a publisher, it’s the most ideal opportunity that they will ever get to advertise their label and get their logo design in front of the people that purchase actual books.

This 3 color design is vivid, colorful and eye-catching and it leaves plenty of space for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design made for an airline company in Los Angeles, the logo design has 2 letter A's with benches customized to imply they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines come and depart yet it looks like that in many instances one of the traits people usually tend to recall the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a young new venture commuter/shuttle airline situated in LA and while I’m not sure it actually “took off” their logo design didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their name lent itself well to conferring a sense of airline flight and it was undoubtedly a success.

Galt logo style used for advertising and marketing and a label layout for Vintage Case includes an antiquated font style style.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case focused in brand-new cases for music instruments, which appeared to be older cases. For this logo concept I strove to come up with a logo that had a fluid vintage feel to it and could be utilized for everything from a web site to an insignia on brand new cases that seemed like they were from another era.

Logo design produced for an orthodontist in Galt, design consist of an arc with lines intersecting through it to imply steel dental braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental care business logos can be one of the most challenging logo design jobs considering that it seems that almost every dental professional integrates a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dentistry logo designs are one of the very most cliche ridden fields when it comes to company branding, if dining establishments approached their branding in the exact same way dental offices do every one of their logo designs would definitely be a picture trying to explain anything they served, McDonalds would probably contain a picture of a potato and a cow.

I understand the thinking behind incorporating a likeness of something mouth associated to a dentist’s logo but it has to be done subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental profession.

I really love doing dentistry logos because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies the field of dentistry or a certain field of the field of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd solution that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics provided such an opportunity and inevitably I created a design that does not have a single smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still suggested in the concept. When I turned this particular concept over to the client the only smile that was evident was the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo design developed for a family members not-for-profit, the logo design features 4 personalities surprised in height to stand for a family unit with in the style.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation reached out to ImageCo to help them come up with a logo that would be illustrative of the devotion that William McNally had for the people residing in his city. Many logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain portrayals of a happy family, a cliche heavy approach to any logo design is to be far too literal about what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best designs are the ones that are understated and never hit the viewer on the head with what the company or organization hopes to convey.

The McNally Foundation’s name offered a distinct opportunity to do a custom logo design that communicated that they were about families without being openly tacky about it. The aim of a logo is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer attempts to use the logo design to describe specifically how people ought to think or feel they don’t understand the mission of a logo. If you have to consider a logo to understand what it means, it has fallen short, a logo needs to be instantly understood and a logo design that describes itself won’t have the opportunity to be understood.

Logo design developed for a hair layout studio featuring a script font a hummingbird as well as an implied orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios required a company logo that carried an atmosphere of relaxation and connection for their new hair studio. I came up with a concept that did not go the obvious path of creating just a stylized orchid but alternatively crafted a business logo that implied an orchid in the pattern of a swirl incorporated into the letter O in the title and by placing emphasis on the concept with the figure of a hummingbird floating over the logo design itself. The obvious path in designing a business logo is in most cases the wrong course and in this case, the design ended up not being about the flower but alternately put the focus on the emotion that they wanted to project to their patrons.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

Logo layout for a software programmer the style features and legendary aspect of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the principal part of an operating system (OS). Traditionally, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task control, and disk management. The kernel attaches the computer hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that operates as a connection in between the software program and computer hardware.

The logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is located a few miles from the offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to describe anything to anyone regarding what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. Nevertheless it represented something to the business owner of the business and in many cases the substance supporting a business logo is equally as important as how it serves the enterprise it stands for.

Develop logo design developed for a Galt interior designer, design feature a collection of red circles that converge and replace the letter O in the middle of the logo style.

logo style provided for Advanced Leadership Solutions, the personalities for letter V and A in center of the word advanced have been modified to tie directly right into words below.

Advanced Leadership Solutions | Logo Design | Website Design

This particular Galt logo design project was done for a leadership specialist that aids business professionals to develop into more successful at overseeing people, expectations, and productivity.

A logo design including a fisherman in the center of the name casting a fly in the direction of the visitor.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brand names such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in over 7 billion a year retailing supplies and equipment to outdoor sporting fans the founders of On the Fly realized the market was primed for an outdoor sporting retailer that operates as a consignment firm. Whether or not you are into boating, angling or mountain climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a destination for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all kinds of interests, a location to sell off their previously owned goods to other sports enthusiasts. I created their Galt business logo dsign along with an image that captures the interest of traffic and sends an image that arouses the enthusiasm of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages 45 mph I knew it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get commuters to take notice, hence the graphic of a fly fisherman in his natural and calm habitat.
Logo design MQ ranches, this logo layout has actually an area incorporated into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms company logo idea wasn’t really produced for an Galt area farm it was actually created for a products broker, and this particular logo was one of several that fell beneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The objective was actually to develop a image that projected esteem, financial success, and opulence.
Logo designed for the use of an indication for the restaurant (Brewgrrs), it is an ornate script font style that is reminiscent of a well-known sports group logo.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve designed dozens of restaurant logos and business signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the USA, from cupcake pastry shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a cool project in which I worked closely with the owner to create a logo design which worked extremely well and did a great job to brand them, it functioned on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the neon signage that hung over their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
