Glendora, California Logo Design

Every new Glendora business realizes that they require a logo, however few entrepreneurs fully understand the vital role their organization logo will perform in their success, or the reason that one logo functions more effectively than another. A logo design has an instant and lasting influence on the prosperity of a business, go with the right one and it can make the door swing and phone ring, choose the wrong one and it will be a barrier and a hindrance for the life span of a company.

The logos presented in the ImageCo portfolio help Glendora, California companies succeed, they are effective in any given circumstance and the reason they are so effective is because they all have these five things in common.

  1. Simplicity: simple logo designs don’t demand scrutiny, they can be realized in merely a glimpse.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to signboards a scalable business logo will continue to be legible and just as emotive at virtually any size.
  3. Versatility: logos that function on any device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball-cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are exclusive, and they are suitable for the enterprise they represent.
  5. Relevance: a company logo must be timeless and should feel relevant today, tomorrow, and thirty years from now.

Logo PORTFOLIO Volume 1

Retro logo design of a bike developed for a Glendora, California coffee cafe as well as a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This fledgling coffee roaster and coffee bar were opening in an old section of the community and wanted to visualize a retro feel without coming across as stodgy or low energy. I fulfilled both jobs by means of creating a business logo design that uses a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, high energy, and is a timeless business image.

clinical logo layout with a microscope slide and also bacteria developed for Glendora, California clinical clinic.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science that examines the causes and outcomes of diseases, mainly the field of healthcare which deals with the laboratory assessment of specimens of body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic reasons.

The Mid-Valley Pathology logo design I came up with is the only instance I recall in which I was in a position to integrate a bacteria-laden microscope slide right into a logo design.

Normally I try not to be excessively literal with a design and to a degree, this specific design approaches the company it serves very literally, but it does it in a fashion that incorporates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an explanation of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the brand that makes it more appealing, more attention grabbing and more memorable.

logo layout with a jumping green frog developed for a household enjoyable facility in Glendora, California.

Cool Springs | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really cool project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the usual of the types of jobs which come my way, I’ve produced dozens of logo designs for physicians, dental professionals, and legal professionals but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park which I have ever gotten the opportunity to work on.

Given that the name of the business has the word springz in its name the obvious choice would have been to feature a handful of springs into the concept but Cool Springz is a fun place to go and spring doesn’t really resonate an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this logo design project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, ultimately I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the name itself to give the logo a more dynamic high energy atmosphere.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my concept and named the frog Jax and incorporated him in to everything they utilized for marketing. I also believe this is the only time that a logo I designed was transformed into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fashioned to look exactly like my frog design.

photography logo design including a flock of birds, a mountain, a route, a stream, and also a tree - made for Glendora, California travel digital photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo design job I took on for a travel photographer, which is a fairly specialized field of photography and I think it is a niche area because travel photographers tend not to capture locations or things but instead project emotional journeys by means of the photos they record. The thought behind this logo composition was to use negative space to convey more than what was visible upon initial glance, which I think is representative of almost all good photographers in that they frequently share whole stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words but I think that some photographs convey a lot more than that because their photos frequently have an emotional resonance which can’t be conveyed with just words. I attempted to do something very similar to this logo by utilizing the positive space in the design to voice one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Glendora logo but also to reveal the depth of her work and in the way that she sees the world through the lens of her camera.

Glendora logo style with a seagull used for the letter A. Designed for a cordless retail business.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The majority of custom logo design projects that I take on I really take pleasure in and the Coastal Wireless design was one that I certainly felt good about, but the customer didn’t quite share my excitement for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull form as a stroke in the letter A but the customer, even though he loved the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This man seriously loathed seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, fortunately the rest of his family didn’t share his scorn for this specific kind of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a client I urge them to talk about it with friends and family as well as with other people that they don’t actually know so as to get impartial point of views on the merit of a design concept. Fortunately, he shared it with his family members and they really loved the concept and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to incorporate every other seabird he could think of … in the end I was able to talk him out of his choice of a pelican and he proceeded with the original concept.

Business logos are a strange creature in the design world given that the people that are inclined to hire a professional to create their logo understand how crucial a logo design is for their organization so they are way more vested in the result. Every logo design job has it’s portion of difficulties, however the greatest obstacle is finding that sweet spot in a design that operates really well at the task it’s required to do in branding a company and also giving the customer the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo style with bamboo in the background, style for Glendora, California book publisher

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a slender segment of real estate to work with, however it really is the most critical part of a printed book due to the fact that it is usually the primary thing a person views in the book store. With regard to a publishing company, it’s the optimal opportunity that they will ever get to spotlight their product and get their logo design in front of the individuals that shop for actual books.

This 3 color design is vibrant, colorful and eye-catching and it leaves plenty of area for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design developed for an airline company in Los Angeles, the logo design has 2 letter A's with benches customized to suggest they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and go yet it looks like that in many cases 1 of the things consumers often tend to remember the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a smaller new venture commuter/shuttle air service situated in LA and while I’m not sure it actually “took off” their custom logo didn’t ground them. The bookend A’s in their name lent itself well to imparting a feeling of flight and it was undoubtedly a victory.

Glendora logo design used for advertising and marketing as well as a label design for Vintage Case includes an antiquated typeface style.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in brand new cases for music instruments, that looked to be vintage cases. For this business logo design I strove to come up with a logo that possessed a fluid nostalgic feel to it and could be utilized for everything from a web page to an insignia on brand new cases that appeared like they were from a different point in time.

Logo developed for an orthodontist in Glendora, California, style include an arc with lines converging via it to suggest steel dental braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental logo designs can be one of the most difficult logo jobs due to the fact that it seems that virtually every dental professional involves a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dentistry business logos are one of the very most cliche ridden careers when it comes to business advertising, if restaurants approached their advertising in the exact same way dentists do every one of their company logos would be a picture explaining anything they served, McDonalds would most likely have an image of a potato and a cow.

I understand the thinking behind including an illustration of something mouth associated to a dentist’s company logo but it has to be done subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dentistry profession.

I really really love doing dentist business logos because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies the field of dentistry or a particular area of dental treatment like orthodontics without resorting to the stereotypical approach that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics delivered such an opportunity and eventually I created a design that does not have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t overt, they are still suggested in the design. When I turned this concept over to the customer the only smile that was apparent was the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo designed for a family nonprofit, the logo includes 4 personalities startled in elevation to stand for a family with in the design.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation asked ImageCo to help them come up with a brand identity design that would be illustrative of the devotion that William McNally had for the folks in his city. Most logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain images of a happy family, a cliche heavy method to any logo design is to be overly literal about what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve found that the best designs are the ones that are understated and don’t hit the viewer on the head with what the business or institution wishes to communicate.

The McNally Foundation’s name offered a unique opportunity to do a logo that conveyed that they were about families without being overtly cheesy about it. The objective of a logo is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer attempts to use the logo to illustrate precisely how individuals should think or feel they don’t understand the objective of a logo. If viewers have to ponder a logo design to understand what it means, it has been in vain, a logo needs to be immediately comprehended and a logo that explains itself won’t have the likelihood to be comprehended.

Logo layout created for a hair layout workshop featuring a manuscript font a hummingbird and an indicated orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios desired a business logo which communicated a spirit of tranquility and connection for their new hair salon. I created a concept which didn’t go the obvious path of creating merely a stylized orchid but rather created a logo that suggested an orchid in the pattern of a swirl blended in to the letter O in the name and by putting emphasis on the logo design with the silhouette of a hummingbird floating above the logo design itself. The obvious path in designing a logo is generally the wrong course and in this case, the design ended up not being about the flower but alternately placed the attention on the perception that they wanted to transmit to their clients.

Arabian horse logo style created for an equine cattle ranch that focuses on breeding Arabian program horses.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

Logo layout for a software programmer the style features and also famous aspect of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the central part of an operating system (OS). Traditionally, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task control, and hard drive management. The kernel connects the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that acts as a bridge between the software and hardware.

The logo design I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is located a couple of miles from the offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to point out anything to anyone regarding what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. But it represented something to the owner of the business and in many cases the symbolism supporting a company logo is equally as important as how it brands the business it stands for.

A logo design including an angler in the middle of the name casting a fly in the direction of the customer.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brand names like Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year retailing goods and equipment to outdoor sporting lovers the owners of On the Fly understood the market place was primed for an outdoor sporting merchant that functions as a consignment firm. Whether or not you are into boating, sportfishing or mountain climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a destination for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all sorts of interests, a spot to sell their used products to other sports enthusiasts. I created their Glendora business logo dsign along with an illustration that garners the interest of vehicles and projects an image that evokes the passion of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages 45 mph I realized it would take more than the average logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the illustration of a fly fisherman in his natural and serene habitat.
Logo design MQ ranches, this logo style has actually a field incorporated into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms custom logo idea wasn’t actually created for an Glendora, California area farm it was really designed for a products broker, and this particular company logo was one of a handful of which fell underneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The aim was really to produce a brand mark that projected self-assurance, success, and prosperity.

Glendora Logo design for a nonprofit, Transforming Point Solutions - the logo design attribute for externally dealing with arrowhead and the arrowheads suggest that it is a diamond form.

Turning Point Foundation | Logo Design

The Turning Point Foundation was totally open to what kind of logo design that they desired, this can be a good thing or a bad thing. Good in that it gives a designer the freedom to explore any idea that comes to mind, bad in that it’s hard to hit a bullseye in the absence of realizing where the target is. Fortunately, in this instance, I hit a bullseye with the very first try.

Logo made for using an indicator for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is an elaborate manuscript font that is reminiscent of a well-known sporting activities team logo design.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I have designed quite a lot of restaurant business logos and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the US, from cupcake bake shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I believe Brewgrrs was my favorite. Brewgrrs was a neat undertaking in which I worked directly with the business owner to develop a logo design which worked really well and did a fantastic job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the illuminated signage that hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
