Hemet, California Logo Design

Nearly every new Hemet business professional realizes that they require a logo, yet few new business owners thoroughly recognize the key role their organization’s logo will play in their becoming successful, or exactly why one logo design works more effectively than another. A logo has a critical and long-term effect on the prosperity of a business, pick the right one and it can make the door swing and phone ring, select the incorrect one and it can be an obstacle and a hindrance for the longevity of a company.

The logos presented in the ImageCo portfolio help Hemet, California businesses succeed, they are effective in any given scenario and the reason they are so effective is that they all have these 5 traits in common.

  1. Simplicity: simple logos don’t demand scrutiny, they can be comprehended in merely a glimpse.
  2. Scalability: from labels to billboards a scalable logo will be legible and just as emotive at any size.
  3. Versatility: logos that function on any sort of device, in print, on product packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are unique, and they are suitable for the enterprise they stand for.
  5. Relevance: a company logo needs to be enduring and will feel as relevant today, tomorrow, and thirty years from today.
Retro logo layout of a bicycle created for a Hemet, California coffee cafe and a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This budding coffee roaster and coffeehouse were actually opening in an older section of town and hoped to visualize an old-fashioned atmosphere without appearing as boring or low energy. I accomplished each of the tasks by designing a custom logo design that features a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is antiquated, high energy, and is a enduring business image.

medical logo style with a microscopic lense slide as well as bacteria made for Hemet, California clinical facility.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science that investigates the root causes and outcomes of diseases, mainly the branch of healthcare which deals with the clinical evaluation of specimens of body tissue for diagnostic or forensic intents.

The Mid-Valley Pathology logo design I came up with is really the only instance I call to mind in which I was in a position to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide into a logo design.

Usually I attempt not to be excessively literal with a design and to a degree, this specific design approaches the company it represents quite literally, however it does it in a fashion that incorporates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an illustration of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancer to the name that makes it more interesting, more focus grabbing and more memorable.

logo layout with a jumping green frog made for a household fun facility in Hemet, California.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really cool project to work on, probably because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the usual of the kinds of jobs that come my way, I’ve produced dozens of logo designs for health care providers, dental practices, and lawyers but Cool Springz is without question the one and only trampoline park which I have ever had the privilege to work on.

Given that the full name of the company has the word springz in its name the apparent choice would have been to integrate a few springs into the concept but Cool Springz is a fun place to go and spring doesn’t actually resonate an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, in the end I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the name itself to give the logo a more enthusiastic high energy mood.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my concept and named the frog Jax and included him in to everything they utilized for promotion and marketing. I also think this is the only time that a logo I created was turned into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fashioned to look exactly like my frog design.

photography logo including a flock of birds, a hill, a trail, a stream, and a tree - made for Hemet, California travel digital photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo design project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a pretty specialized field of photography and I think it is a niche area because travel photographers tend not to shoot places or things but rather project emotional journeys by means of the pictures they record. The idea behind this logo composition was to make use of negative space to communicate more than what was visible upon initial glance, which I think is quintessential of the majority of good photographers in that they oftentimes share whole stories through their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words but I think that some photographs convey much more than that because their photos frequently have an emotional fullness that can’t be conveyed with mere words. I tried to do something similar to this logo design by utilizing the positive space in the design to suggest one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in looking back, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Hemet logo design but also to illustrate the depth to her work and in the way that she sees the world through the lens of her camera.

Hemet logo layout with a seagull used for the letter A. Designed for a cordless retail service.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The lion’s share of business logo design projects that I take on I really savor and the Coastal Wireless design was one that I certainly felt good about, but the customer didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull shape as a stroke in the letter A however the client, even though he loved the concept, really did not care for my choice of birds. This man really loathed seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, thankfully the rest of his friends and family did not share his hatred for this specific type of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a customer I encourage all of them to discuss it with colleagues and family as well as with other people that they don’t even know so as to get unprejudiced point of views on the merit of a concept. Fortunately, he discussed it with his family and they loved the design and were able to persuade him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to incorporate every other seabird he could think of … in the end I was able to talk him out of his choice of a pelican and he went with the original design.

Custom logo designs are a weird creature in the design world because the people that tend to hire an expert to create their business logo comprehend how crucial a logo design is for their company so they are way more vested in the outcome. Every logo design job possesses it’s portion of difficulties, but the biggest challenge is identifying that sweet spot in a design that works really well at the job it’s needed to do in branding a business and also giving the customer the image they see for themselves.

a red panda logo design with bamboo behind-the-scenes, design for Hemet, California publication publisher

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a thin parcel of real estate to work with, but it is the most essential part of a published book considering that it is ordinarily the initial thing a person sees in the bookstore. For a publishing company, it’s the optimal opportunity that they will ever get to spotlight their product and get their logo design in front of the people that shop for actual books.

This 3 color design is vibrant, picturesque and eye-catching and it leaves plenty of territory for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo created for an airline company in Los Angeles, the logo has 2 letter A's with the bars customized to imply they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and depart nevertheless it looks like that in many instances one of the aspects folks tend to recollect the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a small fledgling commuter/shuttle airline company based in LA and while I’m not sure it actually “took off” their logo didn’t ground them. The bookend A’s in their brand lent itself well to conferring a sense of airline flight and it was definitely a victory.

Hemet logo style used for advertising as well as a label layout for Vintage Instance features an old typeface style.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in all new cases for musical instruments, that looked to be antique cases. For this brand design I sought to come up with a logo that provided a fluid old-fashioned feel to it and could be utilized for every thing from a web page to a label on brand new cases that seemed like they were from another generation.

Logo produced for an orthodontist in Hemet, California, design consist of an arc with lines converging through it to imply metal dental braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental care logos can be one of the most challenging and difficult logo projects due to the fact that it appears that every dentist incorporates a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental logos are one of the very most cliche ridden careers when it comes to company marketing, if dining establishments approached their advertising in the same way dentists do every one of their logo designs would be a picture explaining anything they served, McDonalds would likely contain a picture of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind adding an illustration of something mouth related to a dentist’s company logo nevertheless it has to be done subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental care industry.

I really enjoy doing dentistry logo designs because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies the field of dentistry or a certain area of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the stereotypical solution that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics offered such an opportunity and eventually I created a layout that doesn’t have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still implied in the concept. When I turned this concept over to the customer the only smile that was obvious was really the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo design developed for a household nonprofit, the logo includes 4 characters startled in elevation to stand for a family with in the style.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation contacted ImageCo to help them come up with a brand identity design that would be depictive of the devotion that William McNally had for the people in his city. Many logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain pictures of a happy family, a cliche heavy strategy to any logo design is to be far too literal with regards to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best concepts are the ones that are understated and never hit the viewer on the head with what the business or institution hopes to relate.

The McNally Foundation’s name offered a distinct opportunity to do a custom logo design that communicated that they were about families without being overtly cheesy about it. The goal of a logo is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer makes an effort to use the logo design to describe specifically how people should think or feel they don’t understand the mission of a logo. If people have to consider a logo design to understand what it means, it has been in vain, a logo needs to be instantly understood and a logo design that illustrates itself won’t have the chance to be understood.

Logo layout created for a hair layout workshop featuring a manuscript font a hummingbird as well as an implied orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios wanted a business logo that carried an atmosphere of tranquility and connection for their new hair studio. I created a concept which did not go the obvious direction of crafting simply a stylized orchid but instead created a logo design that suggested an orchid in the formation of a swirl blended in to the letter O in the title and by placing attention on the logo design with the silhouette of a hummingbird hovering over the image itself. The obvious path in designing a business logo is usually the incorrect path and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but alternately laid the emphasis on the feeling that they really wanted to project to their patrons.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

Logo layout for a software application designer the design features as well as renowned aspect of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the central part of an operating system (OS). Generally, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task management, and hard drive operations. The kernel attaches the computer hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that performs as a bridge in between the software and computer hardware.

The business logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a number of miles from the offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to spell out anything to anyone pertaining to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However, it intimated something to the owner of the company and in quite a few cases the substance supporting a business logo is just as important as how it serves the business it stands for.

A logo layout featuring an angler in the center of the name casting a fly towards the audience.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brand names such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year retailing goods and equipment to outdoor sporting enthusiasts the founders of On the Fly realized the market place was ready for an outdoor sporting retailer that operates as a consignment firm. Whether or not you are into boating, fishing or mountain climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a venue for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all types of passions, a place to sell their previously owned goods to other sports enthusiasts. I tailored their Hemet business logo dsign with an image that pulls in the attention of vehicles and projects an image that calls to mind the passion of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages 45 miles per hour I realized it would take more than the average logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the picture of a fly fisherman in his natural and calm habitat.
Logo style MQ ranches, this logo style has an area included right into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms emblem idea wasn’t really produced for an Hemet, California regional farm it was actually developed for a products broker, and this particular trademark was one of several which fell underneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The end goal was really to make an identity that projected esteem, success, and prosperity.

Hemet Logo design for a nonprofit, Turning Factor Solutions - the logo layout function for outwardly encountering arrow and also the arrowheads indicate that it is a ruby form.

Turning Point Foundation | Logo Design

The Turning Point Foundation was totally open to what kind of logo design they preferred, that can be a good thing or a bad thing. Good in that it gives a designer the opportunity to delve into any concept that comes to mind, bad in that it’s challenging to hit a bullseye without understanding where the target is. Fortunately, in this particular case, I hit a bullseye with the first shot.

Logo developed for making use of an indication for the restaurant (Brewgrrs), it is an ornate manuscript font that is evocative a well-known sports group logo design.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve designed loads of restaurant logos and business signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments, and eateries all over the US, from cupcake bakeshops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I believe Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a great undertaking in which I worked closely with the owner to develop a logo design which worked really well and did a fantastic job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the illuminated sign which hung over their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
