Inglewood Logo Design

Each and every new Inglewood organization understands that they are in need of a logo, however few entrepreneurs thoroughly are aware of the essential role their logo design will make in their success, or exactly why one logo works better than another. A logo design has an immediate and sustaining effect on the growth of a business, go with the correct one and it will make the door swing and cash register ring, go with the wrong one and it will be a barrier and a hindrance for the life of an organization. The logos included in the ImageCo portfolio help Inglewood companies prosper, they are effective in any given scenario and the reason why they are so effective is because they all have these 5 things in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logo designs don’t demand contemplation, they can be grasped in merely a look.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to signboards a scalable business logo will remain legible and just as emotive at every size.
  3. Versatility: logos that operate on any type of device, in print, on product packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are unique, and they are suitable for the business they stand for.
  5. Relevance: a company logo must be enduring and will feel relevant today, tomorrow, and forty years from today.

Retro logo design of a bicycle produced for a Inglewood coffee cafe and also a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This start-up coffee roaster and cafe were opening up in an older section of the town and wished to project a nostalgic feel without coming across as stodgy or low energy. I accomplished both of these jobs by creating a symbol concept that features a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is antiquated, higher energy, and is a ageless business image.

clinical logo layout with a microscopic lense slide and bacteria made for Inglewood clinical facility.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science that studies the root causes and consequences of diseases, mainly the branch of healthcare that works with the laboratory evaluation of samplings of human body tissue for diagnostic or forensic objectives.

The Mid-Valley Pathology custom logo design I came up with is the only instance I call to mind where I was able to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide within a business logo design.

Normally I attempt not to be overly literal with a design and to a point, this design approaches the company it represents very literally, however it does it in a way that incorporates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an illustration of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancer to the name that helps make it more captivating, more interest grabbing and much more meaningful.

logo design with a leaping environment-friendly frog developed for a family fun center in Inglewood.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really fun project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the norm of the sorts of projects that come my way, I’ve produced dozens of logo designs for surgeons, dental professionals, and attorneys but Cool Springz is without question the one and only trampoline park that I have ever gotten the privilege to work on.

Given that the name of the business has the word springz in its name the obvious choice would have been to feature a handful of springs into the concept but Cool Springz is a fun destination to go and spring doesn’t really resonate an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this logo design project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, ultimately I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the name itself to provide the logo a much more dynamic high energy feel.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my brainchild and named the frog Jax and featured him in to everything they utilized for advertising and marketing. I also think this is the only time that a logo I came up with was turned into a mascot when they had an employee costume fashioned to look exactly like my frog design.

digital photography logo design including a group of birds, a hill, a trail, a stream, as well as a tree - made for Inglewood travel digital photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo job I took on for a travel photographer, which is a fairly niche field of photography and I think it is a niche sector because travel photographers don’t shoot locations or things but rather convey emotional experiences through the photos they capture. The idea behind this logo design was to utilize negative space to communicate more than what was visible upon initial view, which I think is representative of almost all good photographers in that they oftentimes share entire stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words but I think that some photographs convey a great deal more than that because their photos frequently have an emotional resonance that can’t be communicated with mere words. I attempted to do something comparable to this logo by utilizing the positive space in the design to say one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in looking back, that my objective was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Inglewood logo but also to show the depth of her art and in the way that she sees the world through the lens of her camera.

Inglewood logo design with a seagull utilized for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail service.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The majority of logo design projects that I take on I genuinely savor and the Coastal Wireless project was one that I really felt good about, but the client didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the concept of using the seagull shape as a stroke in the character A however the customer, while he loved the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This man seriously despised seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, fortunately the rest of his friends and family did not share his aversion for this specific variety of sea bird.

When I turn a concept over to a client I urge them to share it with colleagues and family members as well as with individuals that they don’t even know so as to get objective assessments on the worthiness of a concept. Fortunately, he shared it with his whole family and they adored the design and were able to persuade him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to incorporate every other seabird he could think of … ultimately I was able to talk him out of his alternative of a pelican and he proceeded with the original concept.

Logos are a weird creature in the design world because the people that have a tendency to hire an expert to create their logo understand how vital a logo design is for their organization so they are much more vested in the final result. Every logo job has it’s share of obstacles, but the most significant challenge is finding that sweet spot in a design that works really well at the task it’s required to do in branding a company and also providing the client the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo layout with bamboo in the background, layout for Inglewood book author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a cramped parcel of real estate to work with, yet it is the most necessary part of a published book due to the fact that it is ordinarily the primary thing a person sees in the book store. With respect to a publishing company, it’s the best opportunity that they will likely ever get to publicize their brand and get their logo design in front of the men and women that buy actual books.

This three color design is vibrant, colorful and eye-catching and it leaves plenty of space for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo designed for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo has two letter A's with benches customized to indicate they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and depart nevertheless it seems that in many occurrences one of the aspects consumers often tend to recall the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a small startup commuter/shuttle air service located in LA and while I’m not certain it really “took off” their logo didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their name lent itself well to imparting a feeling of airline flight and it was certainly a victory.

Inglewood logo layout used for advertising as well as a label design for Vintage Situation includes an old-fashioned typeface layout.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case focused in all new cases for musical instruments, that seemed to be vintage cases. For this brand design I strove to come up with a logo that provided a fluid old style feel to it and could be used for anything from a website to a label on brand new cases that seemed like they were from a different generation.

Logo design produced for an orthodontist in Inglewood, style consist of an arc with lines converging with it to imply metal dental braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dentistry logo designs can be one of the most challenging and difficult logo jobs considering that it seems that virtually every dental professional integrates a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental logos are one of the very most cliche ridden professions when it comes to business marketing, if dining establishments approached their advertising in the same way dental offices do every one of their logo designs would be a picture explaining something they served, McDonalds would probably contain an image of a potato and a cow.

I understand the thinking behind incorporating a likeness of something mouth related to a dentist’s logo but it has to be done subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dental professionals logo that litter the branding landscape of the dentistry profession.

I really love doing dentist logo designs because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies the field of dentistry or a particular area of dental treatment like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd approach that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics delivered such an opportunity and ultimately I created a design that doesn’t have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still suggested in the design. When I turned this particular concept over to the customer the only smile that was apparent was the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo design made for a household nonprofit, the logo design features 4 characters surprised in height to stand for a family with in the style.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation contacted ImageCo to help them come up with a brand identity design that would be representative of the devotion that William McNally had for the families in his community. Many logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain images of a happy family, a cliche heavy technique to any logo design is to be overly literal about what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best concepts are the ones that are understated and don’t hit the viewer on the head with what the company or organization hopes to communicate.

The McNally Foundation’s name presented a distinct opportunity to do a custom logo design which conveyed that they were about families without being openly cheesy about it. The goal of a logo is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer attempts to use the logo design to explain specifically how individuals should think or feel they don’t understand the mission of a logo. If viewers have to consider a logo to understand what it means, it has failed, a logo needs to be immediately comprehended and a logo design that explains itself will never have the likelihood to be understood.

Logo style developed for a hair layout studio including a manuscript font a hummingbird as well as an indicated orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios desired a logo that conveyed a feeling of contentment and connection for their new hair studio. I created a design which did not go the obvious route of designing just a stylized orchid but alternatively created a logo design that implied a flower in the formation of a swirl incorporated into the letter O in the name and by putting attention on the concept along with the silhouette of a hummingbird hovering over the logo design itself. The obvious path in creating a logo is usually the wrong course and in this case, the design ended up not being about the flower but alternately put the main focus on the feeling that they really wanted to project to their patrons.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

Logo style for a software program developer the design features and also famous component of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the principal part of an operating system (OS). Generally, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task control, and disk management. The kernel connects the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that behaves as a connection between the software program and computer hardware.

The logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a couple of miles from the offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to describe anything to anyone with regards to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However, it intimated something to the owner of the business and in quite a few cases the significance supporting a logo design is just as important as how it serves the business it stands for.

A logo design featuring an angler in the middle of the name casting a fly towards the viewer.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With companies such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year selling supplies and equipment to outdoor sporting enthusiasts the owners of On the Fly knew the market place was ready for an outdoor sporting retailer that functions as a consignment company. Whether or not you are into boating, sportfishing or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly presents a location for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all kinds of passions, a place to sell their secondhand goods to other sports enthusiasts. I tailored their Inglewood logo dsign with an illustration that garners the interest of vehicles and projects an image that invokes the enthusiasm of the outdoors. With traffic that averages 45 miles per hour I knew it would take more than the average logo/sign to get commuters to take notice, hence the picture of a fly fisherman in his natural and peaceful habitat.
Logo style MQ farms, this logo design has actually an area incorporated right into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms emblem design wasn’t actually designed for an Inglewood area farm it was really designed for a commodities broker, and this particular creative logo was one of a handful of which fell beneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The end goal was really to make a graphic that projects trust, effectiveness, and affluence.
Logo developed for making use of a sign for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is an elaborate script font style that is reminiscent of a well-known sports group logo.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve created loads of restaurant logo designs and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the USA, from cupcake bake shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I believe Brewgrrs was my favorite. Brewgrrs was a neat project in which I worked closely with the owner to produce a logo design which worked really well and did a great job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the illuminated signage which hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
