Manteca, California Logo Design

Virtually every new Manteca business realizes that they need a logo, yet few new business owners entirely grasp the vital role their company logo will play in their financial success, or precisely why one logo performs better than another. A logo design has a critical and long term impact on the growth of a business, pick the right one and it can make the door swing and phone ring, choose the incorrect one and it will be an obstacle and an impediment for the longevity of a business.

The logos included in the ImageCo portfolio help Manteca, California companies succeed, they are effective in any given situation and the main reason they are so effective is because they all have these five traits in common.

  1. Simplicity: simple logos don’t demand deliberation, they can be grasped in just a look.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to signboards a scalable business logo will stay legible and just as emotive at any dimension.
  3. Versatility: logos that function on any type of device, in print, on product packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are exclusive, and they are suitable for the company they represent.
  5. Relevance: a logo must be timeless and should feel as relevant today, tomorrow, and twenty five years from now.
Retro logo design of a bicycle developed for a Manteca, California coffee cafe as well as a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This start-up coffee roaster and cafe were actually opening up in an older section of the community and wanted to impart a nostalgic tone without appearing as monotonous or low energy. I achieved each of the tasks through developing a logo design that features a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, higher energy, and is a classic business image.

medical logo design with a microscope slide as well as bacteria created for Manteca, California medical facility.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science that researches the root causes and consequences of diseases, especially the field of medicine which works with the clinical examination of specimens of human body tissue for diagnostic or forensic intents.

The Mid-Valley Pathology custom logo design I came up with is really the sole instance I call to mind where I was in a position to integrate a bacteria-laden microscope slide within a logo design.

Usually I try not to be overly literal with a design and to a point, this specific design approaches the company it represents rather literally, however it does it in a way that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an explanation of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the name that helps make it more interesting, more attention grabbing and a lot more memorable.

logo design with a jumping eco-friendly frog developed for a household enjoyable facility in Manteca, California.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really fun project to work on, probably because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the usual of the sorts of projects which come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for medical professionals, dental experts, and legal professionals but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park which I have ever gotten the privilege to work on.

Given that the title of the company features the word springz in its name the clear choice would have been to feature a some springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun location to go and spring doesn’t really resonate an atmosphere of fun does it. My thought process on this logo project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, in the end I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to give the logo a much more enthusiastic high energy feeling.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my design and named the frog Jax and integrated him in to everything they used for advertising and marketing. I also believe this is the only time that a logo I designed was transformed into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fashioned to look just like my frog design.

photography logo including a flock of birds, a mountain, a route, a stream, and also a tree - designed for Manteca, California travel digital photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a custom logo design job I took on for a travel photographer, which is a fairly niche field of photography and I believe it is a niche sector due to the fact that travel photographers tend not to capture locations or things but rather project emotional journeys through the images they record. The idea behind this logo design was to utilize negative space to reveal more than what was visible upon first glance, which I think is quintessential of most good photographers in that they frequently share entire stories through their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words but I think that some photographs convey considerably more than that because their photos frequently have an emotional fullness that can’t be communicated with mere words. I tried to do something comparable to this logo by making use of the positive space in the design to say one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my objective was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Manteca logo design but also to illustrate the depth to her art and in the way that she perceives the world through the lens of her camera.

Manteca logo design with a seagull used for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail business.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The majority of logo design projects that I take on I truly enjoy and the Coastal Wireless assignment was one that I certainly felt good about, however the client didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull silhouette as a stroke in the letter A but the client, while he liked the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This man really disliked seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, fortunately the rest of his friends and family didn’t share his contempt for this particular breed of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a customer I encourage all of them to share it with friends and colleagues and family as well as with individuals that they don’t even know so as to get honest opinions on the worthiness of a concept. Fortunately, he shared it with his family and they really loved the concept and were able to persuade him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to incorporate every other seabird he could think of … eventually I was able to talk him out of his alternative of a pelican and he proceeded with the original concept.

Logos are a strange creature in the design world because the people that have a tendency to hire an expert to design their business logo comprehend how essential a logo design is for their organization so they are much more vested in the result. Every logo project has it’s portion of hurdles, but the greatest challenge is finding that sweet spot in a design that functions really well at the task it’s required to do in branding a company and also giving the client the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo design with bamboo in the background, layout for Manteca, California publication publisher

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a slender parcel of real estate to work with, yet it is the most necessary part of a printed book because it is ordinarily the initial thing a person views in the book shop. With regard to a publishing company, it’s the most ideal opportunity they will ever have to promote their product and get their logo design in front of the men and women that purchase actual books.

This 3 color design is vivid, colorful and eye-catching and it leaves plenty of area for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo designed for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo has two letter A's with benches changed to imply they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and depart yet it seems like that in many occurrences one of the traits individuals often tend to remember the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a modest fledgling commuter/shuttle airline company located in LA and while I’m not certain it really “took off” their logo didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their title lent itself well to conferring a sense of flight and it was definitely a success.

Manteca logo design used for advertising as well as a tag design for Vintage Case features an antiquated font style design.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case focused in new cases for musical instruments, that looked to be vintage cases. For this business logo concept I strove to come up with a logo that had a fluid old style feel to it and could be used for anything from a website to an insignia on brand new cases that seemed like they were from a different era.

Logo created for an orthodontist in Manteca, California, style include an arc with lines converging with it to imply metal dental braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental logo designs can easily be one of the most challenging logo jobs due to the fact that it appears that virtually every dental professional involves a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental business logos are one of the very most cliche ridden careers when it comes to business advertising, if restaurants approached their branding in the exact same way dental professionals do every one of their company logos would be a picture trying to explain something they served, McDonalds would likely include a picture of a potato and a cow.

I understand the thinking behind adding a likeness of something mouth related to a dentist’s logo design nevertheless it has to be done subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dental professionals logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental industry.

I really love doing dental logo designs simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a certain area of dental treatment like orthodontics without resorting to the stereotypical approach that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics delivered such an opportunity and eventually I created a design that doesn’t have a single smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t overt, they are still implied in the concept. When I turned this concept over to the customer the only smile that was obvious was actually the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo design created for a family not-for-profit, the logo features 4 personalities surprised in elevation to represent a family with in the style.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation reached out to ImageCo to help them come up with a logo design that would be illustrative of the love that William McNally had for the people residing in his community. The majority of logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain images of a happy family, a cliche heavy approach to any logo design is to be overly literal with regards to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve found that the best designs are the ones that are downplayed and never hit the viewer on the head with what the business or organization wishes to convey.

The McNally Foundation’s name offered a unique opportunity to do a custom logo design which communicated that they were about families without being openly corny about it. The objective of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer attempts to use the logo design to describe exactly how people ought to think or feel they don’t understand the purpose of a logo. If you have to think about a logo design to understand what it means, it has fallen short, a logo needs to be instantly understood and a logo design that describes itself won’t have the opportunity to be understood.

Logo design produced for a hair style workshop featuring a script font a hummingbird and also a suggested orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios wanted a logo which conveyed a sense of serenity and class for their new hair salon. I came up with a design which didn’t go the obvious direction of making merely a stylized orchid but instead designed a company logo which implied a flower in the formation of a swirl featured into the letter O in the title and by placing emphasis on the concept using the silhouette of a hummingbird floating over the logo design itself. The obvious path in creating a logo design is frequently the wrong route and in this case, the design ended up not being about the flower but instead placed the attention on the perception that they wanted to project to their customers.

Logo design for a software application programmer the design features as well as renowned aspect of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the principal component of an operating system (OS). Typically, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task control, and hard drive managing. The kernel unites the computer hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that serves as a connection in between the software program and computer hardware.

The logo design I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is located a number of miles from the offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to identify anything to anyone with regards to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. But it intimated something to the business owner of the business and in many cases the significance supporting a business logo is equally as important as how it serves the business it represents.

A logo style featuring a fisherman in the middle of the name casting a fly in the direction of the customer.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brands like Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in over 7 billion a year retailing supplies and equipment to outdoor sporting lovers the owners of On the Fly realized the market was prepared for an outdoor sporting retailer that functions as a consignment business. Whether you are into boating, angling or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a location for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all types of passions, a place to sell off their used goods to other sports enthusiasts. I created their Manteca logo design dsign using a graphic which seizes the attention of traffic and projects an image that arouses the enthusiasm of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages forty five miles per hour I knew it would take more than the average logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the illustration of a fly fisherman in his natural and relaxed habitat.
Logo layout MQ ranches, this logo style has a field integrated into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms logo design wasn’t actually designed for an Manteca, California regional farm it was really devised for an investments broker, and this trademark was one of many that fell under the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The objective was really to produce a graphic that projected assurance, success, and affluence.

Manteca Logo design for a nonprofit, Turning Factor Solutions - the logo style feature for externally facing arrowhead and the arrowheads indicate that it is a diamond form.

Turning Point Foundation | Logo Design

The Turning Point Foundation was completely open to what type of logo design that they desired, this can be a good thing or a bad thing. Good in that it provides a designer the liberty to investigate any idea that comes to mind, bad in that it’s tricky to hit a bullseye in the absence of realizing where exactly the target is. Luckily, in this particular instance, I hit a bullseye with the first go.

Logo made for making use of an indicator for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is a luxuriant script font style that is reminiscent of a famous sports group logo.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I have created loads of restaurant logo designs and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments, and eateries all over the USA, from cupcake bakeshops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I believe Brewgrrs was my favorite. Brewgrrs was a great project where I worked directly with the business owner to develop a logo which worked extremely well and did a fantastic job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the illuminated sign which hung over their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
