Manteca Logo Design

Every new Manteca organization realizes that they need a logo, however few new business owners entirely recognize the vital role their organization logo can play in their becoming successful, or exactly why one logo design functions better than another. A business logo has an immediate and sustaining influence on the financial success of a business, select the correct one and it can make the door swing and phone ring, select the wrong one and it will be an obstacle and a hindrance for the life span of a business. The logos presented in the ImageCo portfolio help Manteca companies succeed, they are effective in any given scenario and the main reason they are so effective is because they all have these five features in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logo designs don’t require contemplation, they can be realized in merely a glance.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to signboards a scalable logo will be legible and just as emotive at virtually any scale.
  3. Versatility: logos that work on any device, in print, on product packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are unique, and they are suitable for the organization they represent.
  5. Relevance: a company logo should be lasting and should feel relevant today, tomorrow, and forty years from today.

Retro logo layout of a bike created for a Manteca coffee cafe and a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This startup coffee roaster and coffee shop were actually opening in an older section of town and hoped to visualize a vintage feel without appearing as boring or low energy. I fulfilled each of the tasks by means of designing a business logo design that incorporates a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is antiquated, high energy, and is a classic business image.

clinical logo style with a microscopic lense slide and bacteria developed for Manteca clinical center.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the scientific discipline that researches the root causes and consequences of diseases, especially the field of healthcare which deals with the laboratory evaluation of samples of body tissue for diagnostic or forensic purposes.

The Mid-Valley Pathology brand I came up with is the only instance I recall in which I was in a position to integrate a bacteria-laden microscope slide into a business logo design.

Typically I try not to be overly literal with a concept and to a degree, this specific design approaches the company it represents rather literally, however it does it in a way that incorporates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an illustration of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancer to the name that helps make it more intriguing, more focus grabbing and much more memorable.

logo style with a leaping environment-friendly frog created for a family members enjoyable center in Manteca.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really cool project to work on, probably because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s additionally a project that is way out of the usual of the kinds of jobs that come my way, I’ve produced dozens of logo designs for medical professionals, dental professionals, and attorneys but Cool Springz is without question the one and only trampoline park which I have actually ever had the opportunity to work on.

Given that the name of the company features the word springz in its name the obvious choice would have been to integrate a some springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun place to go and spring doesn’t actually resonate an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this logo project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, inevitably I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the name itself to give the logo a much more dynamic high energy feeling.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my concept and named the frog Jax and integrated him in to everything they used for advertising. I also think this is the only time that a logo I did was transformed into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fabricated to look exactly like my frog design.

digital photography logo including a group of birds, a mountain, a trail, a stream, and also a tree - created for Manteca traveling photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a pretty niche field of photography and I believe it is a niche sector because travel photographers tend not to shoot places or things but rather project emotional journeys by means of the images they record. The thought behind this logo composition was to make use of negative space to project more than what was visible upon first view, which I think is representative of most professional photographers in that they often tell whole stories through their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey a lot more than that because their photos often have an emotional resonance that can’t be revealed with just words. I made an effort to do something the same to this logo design by employing the positive space in the design to say one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was communicated through the first impression. I think, in looking back, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Manteca logo design but also to illustrate the depth to her art and in the way that she perceives the world through the lens of her camera.

Manteca logo style with a seagull made use of for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail organisation.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The majority of custom logo design projects that I take on I seriously enjoy and the Coastal Wireless assignment was one that I certainly felt good about, however the customer didn’t quite share my excitement for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull shape as a stroke in the letter A however the customer, while he loved the concept, really did not care for my choice of birds. This guy genuinely hated seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, thankfully the rest of his family didn’t share his contempt for this specific breed of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a customer I urge all of them to share it with friends and colleagues and family as well as with people that they don’t even know so as to get honest assessments on the worthiness of a design concept. Fortunately, he discussed it with his family and they adored the concept and were able to persuade him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to insert every other seabird he could think of … in the end I was able to talk him out of his alternative of a pelican and he proceeded with the original concept.

Logo designs are a strange creature in the design world because the people that are inclined to hire an expert to design their logo recognize how crucial a logo is for their business so they are much more vested in the end result. Every logo project has it’s portion of obstacles, however the greatest challenge is finding that sweet spot in a design that functions really well at the task it’s required to do in branding a business and also providing the customer the image they see for themselves.

a red panda logo design with bamboo in the background, style for Manteca publication author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a thin parcel of real estate to work with, yet it is the most necessary part of a printed book considering that it is in most cases the primary thing a person views in the book shop. With respect to a publishing company, it’s the optimal opportunity that they will likely ever have to spotlight their brand and get their logo design in front of the individuals that purchase actual books.

This 3 color design is vivid, picturesque and eye-catching and it leaves plenty of room for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo designed for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo has 2 letter A's with the bars modified to imply they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines come and depart nevertheless it seems that in many occurrences one of the things individuals tend to remember the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a modest new venture commuter/shuttle airline company based in LA and although I’m not sure it really “took off” their logo didn’t ground them. The bookend A’s in their brand lent itself well to imparting a spirit of flight and it was undoubtedly a winner.

Manteca logo layout made use of for marketing and also a label style for Vintage Situation includes an old-fashioned font style.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in all new cases for musical instruments, that looked to be much older cases. For this custom logo concept I tried to come up with a logo that offered a fluid vintage feel to it and could be utilized for every thing from a web page to an insignia on brand new cases that seemed like they were from a different point in time.

Logo design produced for an orthodontist in Manteca, style include an arc with lines converging via it to suggest metal braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental business logos can easily be one of the most difficult logo projects because it seems that almost every dentist integrates a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental business logos are one of the most cliche ridden fields when it comes to company advertising, if restaurants approached their branding in the same way dentists do every one of their company logos would be a picture explaining something they served, McDonalds would most likely contain a picture of a potato and a cow.

I understand the thinking behind adding an illustration of something mouth related to a dentist’s logo nevertheless it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dentistry profession.

I really love doing dentist logo designs because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies the field of dentistry or a certain area of dental treatment like orthodontics without resorting to the stereotypical approach that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics offered such an opportunity and subsequently I created a concept that does not have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still suggested in the concept. When I turned this design over to the client the only smile that was obvious was actually the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo design developed for a family members not-for-profit, the logo design includes 4 personalities staggered in elevation to stand for a family unit with in the layout.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation contacted ImageCo to help them come up with a logo design that would be representative of the devotion that William McNally had for the people residing in his city. The majority of logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain portrayals of a happy family, a cliche heavy approach to any logo design is to be overly literal pertaining to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best concepts are the ones that are downplayed and don’t hit the viewer on the head with what the business or organization wants to relate.

The McNally Foundation’s name offered a distinct opportunity to do a logo design that communicated that they were about families without being openly cheesy about it. The intention of a logo is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer tries to use the logo to describe exactly how people should think or feel they don’t understand the purpose of a logo. If you have to consider a logo design to understand what it means, it has fallen short, a logo needs to be instantly understood and a logo design that explains itself will never have the likelihood to be understood.

Logo style developed for a hair design workshop featuring a manuscript font a hummingbird and also an indicated orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios required a logo that carried a feeling of simplicity and class for their new hair salon. I came up with a design that did not go the obvious direction of making just a stylized orchid but alternatively created a company logo that implied an orchid in the formation of a swirl featured in to the letter O in the name and by putting attention on the concept using the silhouette of a hummingbird hovering above the image itself. The obvious path in designing a logo design is in most cases the incorrect direction and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but alternately placed the main focus on the feeling that they wanted to project to their patrons.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

Las Cafe | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

Las Coffee shop logo style a small dining establishment, design consists of a changed script typeface which hovers above a group of ornate lines as well as dots.

Logo design for a software programmer the layout attributes and renowned element of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the central part of an operating system (OS). Traditionally, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task management, and drive operations. The kernel links the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that performs as a bridge in between the software and computer hardware.

The logo design I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is located a number of miles from the offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to spell out anything to anyone pertaining to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However, it represented something to the owner of the business and in many cases the substance behind a company logo is equally as important as how it serves the company it represents.

Evolve logo style developed for a Manteca indoor developer, layout function a series of red circles that intersect and change the letter O in the center of the logo design.

Advanced Leadership Solutions | Logo Design | Website Design

A logo design including a fisherman in the middle of the name casting a fly towards the audience.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brands like Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in over 7 billion a year selling goods and equipment to outdoor sporting lovers the owners of On the Fly knew the market place was primed for an outdoor sporting merchant that functions as a consignment company. Whether you are into boating, fishing or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly presents a destination for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all kinds of passions, a spot to sell their used items to other sports enthusiasts. I tailored their Manteca logo dsign using an image that seizes the interest of vehicles and sends an image that invokes the passion of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages 45 miles per hour I knew it would take more than the average logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the illustration of a fly fisherman in his natural and tranquil habitat.
Logo style MQ farms, this logo layout has actually a field integrated into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms company logo idea wasn’t actually designed for an Manteca regional farm it was actually developed for an investments broker, and this creative logo was one of multiple that fell underneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The end goal was to produce a graphic that projected self-confidence, effectiveness, and opulence.
Logo design created for using a sign for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is an elaborate manuscript font that is reminiscent of a famous sporting activities group logo.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve designed loads of restaurant logo designs and business signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the US, from cupcake bake shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I believe Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a cool project where I worked directly with the business owner to produce a logo design that worked extremely well and did a great job to brand them, it functioned on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the illuminated sign which hung over their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
