Menifee Logo Design

Virtually every new Menifee business realizes that they are in need of a logo, yet few entrepreneurs fully grasp the vital role their company logo will play in their success, or precisely why one business logo functions far better than another. A logo design has a critical and long-term effect on the success of a business, select the right one and it will make the door swing and cash register ring, select the wrong one and it will be a barrier and an impediment for the longevity of a business. The logos presented in the ImageCo portfolio help Menifee businesses prosper, they are effective in any given scenario and the reason they are so effective is that they all have these 5 traits in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logo designs do not demand consideration, they can be understood in just a glance.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to posters a scalable logo design will be legible and equally emotive at virtually any size.
  3. Versatility: logos that work on any device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball-cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are unique, and they are suitable for the organization they represent.
  5. Relevance: a logo design must be timeless and will feel relevant today, tomorrow, and twenty five years from today.

Retro logo layout of a bike produced for a Menifee coffee cafe and also a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This startup coffee roaster and coffee shop were actually launching in an older section of the city and wanted to visualize a vintage feel without coming across as stodgy or low energy. I accomplished the two jobs by means of creating a custom logo design that features a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, high energy, and is a enduring business image.

clinical logo style with a microscope slide as well as germs developed for Menifee medical clinic.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science that analyzes the causes and effects of diseases, mainly the field of medicine which deals with the clinical examination of samplings of human body tissue for diagnostic or forensic objectives.

The Mid-Valley Pathology logo design I came up with is the sole instance I recollect where I was able to integrate a bacteria-laden microscope slide within a logo design.

Generally I try not to be overly literal with a concept and to a degree, this specific design approaches the company it serves quite literally, yet it does it in a way that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as a description of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancer to the name that makes it more intriguing, more focus grabbing and much more meaningful.

logo design with a leaping eco-friendly frog designed for a household fun center in Menifee.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really fun project to work on, probably because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the norm of the sorts of jobs which come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for medical professionals, dental professionals, and lawyers but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park that I have actually ever had the privilege to work on.

Given that the name of the company has the word springz in its name the obvious choice would have been to incorporate a handful of springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun location to go and spring does not really resonate an atmosphere of fun does it. My thought process on this project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, inevitably I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to give the logo a better enthusiastic high energy mood.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my design and named the frog Jax and included him in to everything they used for promotion and marketing. I also think this is the only time that a logo I did was transformed into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fashioned to look exactly like my frog design.

photography logo featuring a group of birds, a hill, a trail, a stream, as well as a tree - designed for Menifee traveling digital photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo design job I took on for a travel photographer, which is a rather niche field of photography and I think it is a niche speciality due to the fact that travel photographers tend not to shoot locations or things but instead convey emotional experiences by means of the images they capture. The idea behind this logo concept was to utilize negative space to reveal more than what was visible upon initial glance, which I think is representative of most good photographers in that they frequently share entire stories through their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words but I think that some photographs convey a great deal more than that because their photos often have an emotional fullness which can’t be communicated with mere words. I attempted to do something comparable to this logo design by using the positive space in the design to voice one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Menifee logo but also to illustrate the depth in her art and in the way that she sees the world through the lens of her camera.

Menifee logo style with a seagull made use of for the letter A. Designed for a cordless retail company.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The lion’s share of logo design jobs that I take on I genuinely take pleasure in and the Coastal Wireless project was one that I certainly felt good about, but the customer didn’t quite share my excitement for it. I felt really good about the concept of using the seagull form as a stroke in the letter A however the client, even though he loved the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This guy genuinely hated seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, luckily the rest of his family didn’t share his hatred for this specific variety of sea bird.

When I turn a concept over to a client I encourage all of them to share it with friends and family as well as with other people that they don’t even know so as to get unbiased viewpoints on the value of a design concept. Fortunately, he discussed it with his family and they loved the concept and were able to persuade him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to include every other seabird he could think of … ultimately I was able to talk him out of his alternative of a pelican and he proceeded with the original design.

Custom logo designs are a strange creature in the design world given that the people that are inclined to hire an expert to create their logo design recognize how essential a logo is for their organization so they are much more invested in the result. Every logo design project has it’s allotment of obstacles, however the most significant challenge is identifying that sweet spot in a design that works really well at the job it’s required to do in branding a company and also giving the client the image they see for themselves.

a red panda logo design with bamboo in the background, style for Menifee publication author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a narrow piece of real estate to work with, but it is the most essential part of a published book due to the fact that it is usually the very first thing a person sees in the book store. For a publisher, it’s the absolute best opportunity that they will ever have to advertise their label and get their logo design in front of the men and women that purchase actual books.

This three color design is vibrant, colorful and eye-catching and it leaves plenty of area for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design created for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo design has 2 letter A's with the bars modified to imply they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and go but it seems that in many occurrences one of the traits individuals often tend to recall the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a smaller start-up commuter/shuttle airline situated in LA and although I’m not certain it actually “took off” their logo design didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their brand lent itself well to affording a spirit of airline flight and it was definitely a winner.

Menifee logo design used for marketing and a tag design for Vintage Instance includes an old-fashioned typeface style.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case focused in new cases for musical instruments, that seemed to be older cases. For this logo design I sought to come up with a logo that provided a fluid old style feel to it and could easily be utilized for anything from a web site to an insignia on brand new cases that looked like they were from another point in time.

Logo design created for an orthodontist in Menifee, style consist of an arc with lines intersecting through it to indicate metal braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dentistry logo designs can be one of the most difficult logo design projects due to the fact that it appears that every single dental professional involves a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dentistry business logos are one of the most cliche ridden careers when it comes to company marketing, if restaurants approached their branding in the very same way dental professionals do every one of their logo designs would definitely be a picture explaining anything they served, McDonalds would likely have a picture of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind incorporating an illustration of something mouth related to a dentist’s logo design but it has to be done subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dentistry profession.

I actually love doing dentist logo designs simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a specific field of the field of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd course of action that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics offered such an opportunity and ultimately I created a layout that doesn’t have a single smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still suggested in the concept. When I turned this concept over to the client the only smile that was apparent was actually the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo design created for a household nonprofit, the logo design features 4 personalities startled in elevation to represent a family unit with in the style.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation contacted ImageCo to help them come up with a brand identity design that would be illustrative of the devotion that William McNally had for the residents in his community. The majority of logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain pictures of a happy family, a cliche heavy technique to any logo design is to be overly literal with regards to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best concepts are the ones that are understated and never hit the viewer on the head with what the business or institution wants to communicate.

The McNally Foundation’s name presented a distinct opportunity to do a logo which communicated that they were about families without being openly corny about it. The aim of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer attempts to use the logo design to summarize specifically how individuals should think or feel they don’t understand the purpose of a logo. If you have to ponder a logo to understand what it means, it has failed, a logo needs to be immediately comprehended and a logo design that explains itself won’t have the likelihood to be comprehended.

Logo style produced for a hair style workshop including a script font a hummingbird and also an indicated orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios required a logo design which related a spirit of relaxation and connection for their new hair salon. I came up with a design that did not go the obvious route of making merely a stylized orchid but alternatively created a logo which suggested an orchid in the pattern of a swirl featured into the letter O in the name and by placing attention on the concept with the figure of a hummingbird floating above the logo itself. The obvious path in creating a logo design is generally the wrong path and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but instead placed the main focus on the perception that they really wanted to project to their clients.

Logo style for a software application designer the layout functions and also renowned aspect of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the central part of an operating system (OS). Typically, the kernel is responsible for memory management, process and task management, and drive managing. The kernel unites the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that acts as a bridge in between the software and hardware.

The business logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a few miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to identify anything to anyone regarding to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However, it symbolized something to the owner of the company and in many cases the substance behind a logo design is just as important as how it serves the company it represents.

Develop logo layout created for a Menifee indoor developer, layout attribute a series of red circles that intersect and replace the letter O in the center of the logo style.

Evolv Interior Design | Logo Design | Branding

A logo layout including a fisherman in the middle of the name casting a fly in the direction of the viewer.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With companies such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in over 7 billion a year selling goods and equipment to outdoor sporting enthusiasts the founders of On the Fly realized the market was primed for an outdoor sporting merchant that functions as a consignment business. Whether or not you are into boating, angling or mountain climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly presents a place for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all sorts of interests, a place to sell their previously owned products to other sports enthusiasts. I tailored their Menifee logo design dsign along with a graphic that garners the attention of vehicles and projects an image that arouses the enthusiasm of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages 45 miles per hour I knew it would take more than the average logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the picture of a fly fisherman in his natural and tranquil habitat.
Logo layout MQ farms, this logo design has an area integrated right into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms emblem design wasn’t actually composed for an Menifee regional farm it was actually designed for a commodities broker, and this company logo was one of multiple which fell under the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The end goal was actually to generate a brand mark that projects self-confidence, financial success, and prosperity.
Logo design developed for the use of an indication for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is an elaborate script font style that is reminiscent of a popular sports group logo design.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve crafted dozens of restaurant logos and business signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the USA, from cupcake bakeries to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my favorite. Brewgrrs was a cool project where I worked closely with the proprietor to design a logo that worked very well and did a fantastic job to brand them, it functioned on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the illuminated sign which hung over their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
