Milpitas Logo Design

Every new Milpitas business understands that they are in need of a logo, but few new business owners fully grasp the pivotal role their organization logo will make in their success, or exactly why one logo works far better than another. A company logo has an immediate and sustaining influence on the growth of a business, choose the correct one and it can make the door swing and cash register ring, choose the wrong one and it can be a barrier and an impediment for the longevity of a company. The logos presented in the ImageCo portfolio help Milpitas companies succeed, they are effective in any given circumstance and the main reason they are so effective is because they all have these 5 features in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logo designs do not demand contemplation, they can be grasped in merely a glance.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to signboards a scalable logo design will remain legible and just as emotive at any size.
  3. Versatility: logos that work on any type of device, in print, on product packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are exclusive, and they are suitable for the organization they stand for.
  5. Relevance: a logo design needs to be lasting and should feel relevant today, tomorrow, and thirty years from now.

Retro logo layout of a bicycle developed for a Milpitas coffee cafe and a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This budding coffee roaster and coffeehouse were launching in an older part of the community and hoped to cast a retro tone without appearing as monotonous or low energy. I achieved both of these jobs by creating a company logo design that features a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is antiquated, higher energy, and is a ageless business image.

medical logo design with a microscope slide and also germs designed for Milpitas clinical clinic.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the scientific discipline that analyzes the triggers and consequences of diseases, mainly the branch of medicine which works with the laboratory assessment of samples of human body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic intents.

The Mid-Valley Pathology logo design I came up with is really the only instance I recall in which I was in a position to integrate a bacteria-laden microscope slide into a business logo design.

Generally I try not to be excessively literal with a design and to a degree, this specific design approaches the company it serves very literally, yet it does it in a fashion that incorporates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an explanation of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the brand that makes it more captivating, more focus grabbing and much more meaningful.

logo layout with a leaping green frog made for a household fun center in Milpitas.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really fun project to work on, probably because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the norm of the sorts of jobs that come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for medical professionals, dental experts, and attorneys but Cool Springz is without question the one and only trampoline park which I have actually ever gotten the privilege to work on.

Given that the name of the company has the word springz in its name the clear choice would have been to integrate a some springs into the concept but Cool Springz is a fun destination to go and spring does not actually resonate an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this logo design project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, eventually I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to provide the logo a much more dynamic high energy atmosphere.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my design and named the frog Jax and incorporated him in to everything they utilized for marketing. I also believe this is the only time that a logo I did was turned into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fabricated to look exactly like my frog design.

digital photography logo including a group of birds, a hill, a path, a stream, and a tree - created for Milpitas traveling digital photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo job I took on for a travel photographer, which is a fairly specialized field of photography and I think it is a niche sector because travel photographers tend not to shoot places or things but instead reveal emotional experiences through the photos they capture. The thought behind this logo design was to utilize negative space to reveal more than what was visible upon initial glance, which I think is representative of almost all professional photographers in that they oftentimes convey entire stories through their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words but I think that some photographs convey significantly more than that because their photos frequently have an emotional fullness that can’t be communicated with just words. I made an effort to do something very similar to this logo by utilizing the positive space in the design to voice one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Milpitas logo but also to show the depth to her art and in the way that she views the world through the lens of her camera.

Milpitas logo style with a seagull utilized for the letter A. Designed for a cordless retail organisation.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The majority of logo design projects that I take on I genuinely relish and the Coastal Wireless design was one that I really felt good about, but the customer didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the concept of using the seagull silhouette as a stroke in the character A but my customer, even though he liked the concept, really did not care for my choice of birds. This particular guy really hated seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, fortunately the rest of his friends and family did not share his aversion for this specific kind of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a customer I urge all of them to discuss it with friends and colleagues and family as well as with people that they don’t even know so as to get objective viewpoints on the value of a design. Fortunately, he shared it with his family members and they really liked the concept and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to include every other seabird he could think of … eventually I was able to talk him out of his choice of a pelican and he went with the original design.

Business logos are a weird animal in the design world because the people that tend to hire an expert to create their logo recognize how vital a logo design is for their company so they are much more vested in the final result. Every logo project possesses it’s allotment of obstacles, however the greatest challenge is finding that sweet spot in a design that functions really well at the job it’s required to do in branding a company and also providing the customer the image they see for themselves.

a red panda logo style with bamboo in the background, design for Milpitas book publisher

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a slender parcel of real estate to work with, nevertheless it is the most critical part of a printed book considering that it is ordinarily the very first thing a person views in the book store. With regard to a publishing company, it’s the opportunity that they will ever have to publicize their product and get their logo design in front of the individuals that purchase actual books.

This 3 color design is vivid, colorful and eye-catching and it gives plenty of area for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design made for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo has two letter A's with the bars modified to indicate they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and depart however it looks like that in many cases one of the aspects consumers often tend to remember the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a small new venture commuter/shuttle airline located in LA and although I’m not certain it actually “took off” their custom logo didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their brand lent itself well to imparting a good sense of airline flight and it was certainly a victory.

Milpitas logo style utilized for marketing and a tag design for Vintage Case features an antiquated typeface design.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case focused in new cases for musical instruments, which seemed to be antique cases. For this custom logo design I sought to come up with a logo that had a fluid nostalgic feel to it and could be utilized for every thing from a web site to an insignia on brand new cases that seemed like they were from a different point in time.

Logo design produced for an orthodontist in Milpitas, layout include an arc with lines converging with it to imply metal dental braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dentistry logos can be one of the most difficult logo projects due to the fact that it seems that every single dental professional features a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental business logos are one of the very most cliche ridden professions when it comes to business marketing, if dining establishments approached their advertising in the exact same way dental professionals do every one of their logo designs would definitely be a picture trying to explain anything they served, McDonalds would likely include a picture of a potato and a cow.

I understand the thinking behind including an illustration of something mouth associated to a dentist’s logo nevertheless it has to be done subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental industry.

I really love doing dental logos because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a specific field of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd solution that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics offered such an opportunity and ultimately I created a layout that doesn’t have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still implied in the concept. When I turned this particular design over to the customer the only smile that was obvious was the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo design developed for a family members not-for-profit, the logo features 4 characters surprised in elevation to stand for a family with in the style.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation contacted ImageCo to help them come up with a brand identity design that would be representative of the love that William McNally had for the people residing in his community. Most logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain portrayals of a happy family, a cliche heavy technique to any logo design is to be very literal pertaining to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best concepts are the ones that are downplayed and never hit the viewer on the head with what the company or institution wishes to communicate.

The McNally Foundation’s name offered a distinct opportunity to do a logo that conveyed that they were about families without being openly cheesy about it. The objective of a logo is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer attempts to use the logo to summarize exactly how people ought to think or feel they don’t understand the purpose of a logo. If viewers have to consider a logo to understand what it means, it has fallen short, a logo needs to be instantly understood and a logo that describes itself will never have the likelihood to be comprehended.

Logo style developed for a hair design studio including a manuscript font a hummingbird as well as an implied orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios wanted a business logo that communicated an atmosphere of relaxation and elegance for their new hair studio. I created a concept that did not go the obvious route of crafting merely a stylized orchid but rather crafted a logo design that suggested an orchid in the formation of a swirl featured in to the letter O in the name and by putting attention on the logo design along with the figure of a hummingbird floating above the logo itself. The obvious path in designing a logo is more often than not the incorrect route and in this case, the design ended up not being about the flower but alternately placed the attention on the perception that they really wanted to transmit to their clients.

Arabian equine logo style created for a horse cattle ranch that specializes in reproducing Arabian program steeds.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

ImageCo designed a unique business logo design fashioned to epitomize the unique physical traits of the Arabian breed of equines. With a different head form and high tail carriage, the Arabian is one of the very most easily recognizable equine lineages in the world.

Las Coffee shop logo layout a little restaurant, style contains a modified script font style which hovers above a team of luxuriant lines and also dots.

Logo layout for a software designer the design functions and also iconic element of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the central part of an operating system (OS). Typically, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task management, and hard drive management. The kernel links the computer hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that behaves as a connection in between the software program and hardware.

The logo design I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a couple of miles from the offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to explain anything to anyone pertaining to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However it meant something to the business owner of the company and in quite a few cases the substance supporting a logo design is just as important as how it brands the company it represents.

Develop logo layout produced for a Milpitas interior developer, style function a collection of red circles that converge as well as replace the letter O in the middle of the logo layout.

Advanced Leadership Solutions | Logo Design | Website Design

A logo layout featuring an angler in the middle of the name casting a fly towards the audience.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brand names like Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year selling goods and equipment to outdoor sporting fans the founders of On the Fly knew the market was ready for an outdoor sporting merchant that functions as a consignment company. Whether or not you are into boating, fishing or mountain climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly presents a location for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all sorts of interests, a spot to sell their secondhand products to other sports enthusiasts. I designed their Milpitas logo design dsign utilizing an image which grabs the interest of vehicles and sends an image that arouses the passion of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages forty five mph I realized it would take more than the average logo/sign to get commuters to take notice, hence the illustration of a fly fisherman in his natural and calm habitat.
Logo design MQ ranches, this logo design has actually an area incorporated into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms company logo idea wasn’t really created for an Milpitas regional farm it was really developed for a products broker, and this particular brand was one of several that fell underneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The goal was to make an identity that projected trust, effectiveness, and opulence.
Logo design made for making use of a sign for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is an ornate script font that is evocative a famous sports group logo.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I have crafted loads of restaurant logos and business signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the USA, from cupcake bake shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a great undertaking in which I worked closely with the proprietor to produce a business logo that worked very well and did a fantastic job to brand them, it functioned on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the illuminated signage that hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
