Modesto Logo Design

Every new Modesto organization understands that they need a logo, yet few new business owners fully are aware of the pivotal role their logo will take in their success, or precisely why one business logo functions far better than another. A logo has a critical and sustaining influence on the financial success of a company, select the right one and it can make the door swing and cash register ring, go with the incorrect one and it will be an obstacle and a hindrance for the life of a business. The logos presented in the ImageCo portfolio help Modesto companies prosper, they are effective in any given circumstance and the reason they are so effective is because they all have these 5 traits in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logos do not require deliberation, they can be realized in merely a glance.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to signboards a scalable business logo will continue to be legible and equally emotive at any dimension.
  3. Versatility: logos that function on any device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are personal, and they are suitable for the enterprise they represent.
  5. Relevance: a logo should be timeless and will feel relevant today, tomorrow, and twenty years from today.

Retro logo design of a bike created for a Modesto coffee cafe and also a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This budding coffee roaster and coffee bar were opening up in an old section of the city and wished to cast a nostalgic tone without appearing as uninteresting or low energy. I achieved the two jobs by designing a company logo design that incorporates a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is antiquated, high energy, and is a timeless business image.

medical logo layout with a microscopic lense slide as well as germs designed for Modesto clinical clinic.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science which studies the triggers and outcomes of diseases, mainly the branch of medicine which works with the clinical evaluation of samples of body tissue for diagnostic or forensic intents.

The Mid-Valley Pathology custom logo design I came up with is really the only instance I recall in which I was in a position to integrate a bacteria-laden microscope slide into a logo design.

Normally I attempt not to be excessively literal with a design and to a point, this specific design approaches the company it represents fairly literally, however it does it in a fashion that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an illustration of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the name that helps make it more appealing, more attention grabbing and even more meaningful.

logo layout with a jumping green frog developed for a family enjoyable center in Modesto.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really cool project to work on, probably because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the norm of the sorts of projects that come my way, I’ve produced dozens of logo designs for surgeons, dental offices, and legal professionals but Cool Springz is without question the one and only trampoline park that I have actually ever gotten the privilege to work on.

Given that the name of the business features the word springz in its name the apparent choice would have been to include a couple of springs into the concept but Cool Springz is a fun destination to go and spring doesn’t actually reflect an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, inevitably I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the name itself to give the logo a much more dynamic high energy feel.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my brainchild and named the frog Jax and incorporated him in to everything they utilized for advertising. I also believe this is the only time that a logo I did was turned into a mascot when they had an employee costume fashioned to look exactly like my frog design.

digital photography logo design featuring a group of birds, a mountain, a path, a stream, and also a tree - developed for Modesto traveling digital photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a custom logo design job I took on for a travel photographer, which is a fairly specialized field of photography and I think it is a niche profession because travel photographers don’t shoot places or things but instead reveal emotional journeys through the pictures they record. The thought behind this logo design was to use negative space to convey more than what was visible upon first view, which I think is quintessential of almost all professional photographers in that they oftentimes share entire stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words but I think that some photographs convey significantly more than that because their photos often have an emotional resonance that can’t be communicated with mere words. I made an effort to do something very similar to this logo by utilizing the positive space in the design to say one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in looking back, that my objective was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Modesto logo design but also to show the depth of her art and in the way that she perceives the world through the lens of her camera.

Modesto logo layout with a seagull utilized for the letter A. Designed for a cordless retail organisation.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The bulk of business logo design projects that I take on I truly savor and the Coastal Wireless project was one that I certainly felt good about, but the customer didn’t quite share my excitement for it. I felt really good about the concept of using the seagull shape as a stroke in the character A however my client, while he loved the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This particular guy truly disliked seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, thankfully the rest of his friends and family didn’t share his scorn for this specific breed of sea bird.

When I turn a concept over to a customer I urge all of them to talk about it with friends and family members as well as with other people that they don’t even know so as to get objective opinions on the merit of a concept. Fortunately, he talked about it with his family and they loved the concept and were able to persuade him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to incorporate every other seabird he could think of … eventually I was able to talk him out of his alternative of a pelican and he went with the original design.

Custom logo designs are a strange animal in the design world given that the people that are inclined to hire an expert to design their logo design understand how crucial a logo is for their organization so they are way more invested in the final result. Every logo design job possesses it’s share of difficulties, but the largest challenge is identifying that sweet spot in a design that works really well at the job it’s required to do in branding a company and also giving the client the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo design with bamboo in the background, style for Modesto publication publisher

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a narrow piece of real estate to work with, nevertheless it is the most vital part of a published book due to the fact that it is ordinarily the first thing a person views in the bookstore. Concerning a publishing company, it’s the best opportunity that they will ever have to spotlight their brand and get their logo design in front of the people that buy actual books.

This 3 color design is vibrant, colorful and eye-catching and it gives plenty of room for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo developed for an airline company in Los Angeles, the logo design has two letter A's with benches customized to imply they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines come and go but it seems that in many cases one of the traits individuals often tend to recall the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a modest startup commuter/shuttle air service located in LA and while I’m not certain it actually “took off” their organization logo didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their title lent itself well to imparting a feeling of flight and it was certainly a winner.

Modesto logo style used for marketing and a tag layout for Vintage Instance includes an old-fashioned typeface layout.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in new cases for musical instruments, that seemed to be older cases. For this business logo design I tried to come up with a logo that had a fluid old style feel to it and could be utilized for everything from a website to a label on brand new cases that seemed like they were from a different generation.

Logo produced for an orthodontist in Modesto, style consist of an arc with lines intersecting through it to imply metal braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental business logos can be one of the most challenging logo projects due to the fact that it appears that every dentist incorporates a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dentistry logo designs are one of the very most cliche ridden careers when it comes to company marketing, if restaurants approached their advertising in the very same way dental offices do every one of their company logos would definitely be a picture trying to explain anything they served, McDonalds would likely contain an image of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind adding an image of something mouth related to a dentist’s logo but it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dental professionals logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental profession.

I really love doing dental logos simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a specific field of dental treatment like orthodontics without resorting to the stereotypical solution that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics offered such an opportunity and ultimately I created a design that doesn’t have a single smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still suggested in the design. When I turned this particular concept over to the customer the only smile that was obvious was actually the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo designed for a family nonprofit, the logo includes 4 personalities surprised in elevation to stand for a family unit with in the design.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation asked ImageCo to help them come up with a brand identity design that would be representative of the love that William McNally had for the people residing in his community. Most logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain depictions of a happy family, a cliche heavy strategy to any logo design is to be very literal with regards to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best designs are the ones that are downplayed and don’t hit the viewer on the head with what the business or organization wants to relate.

The McNally Foundation’s name presented a unique opportunity to do a logo design that conveyed that they were about families without being openly corny about it. The intention of a logo is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer attempts to use the logo to summarize precisely how people should think or feel they don’t understand the objective of a logo. If viewers have to ponder a logo design to understand what it means, it has been in vain, a logo needs to be instantly comprehended and a logo that illustrates itself won’t have the chance to be comprehended.

Logo layout developed for a hair design workshop featuring a manuscript font a hummingbird as well as an indicated orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios needed a company logo that carried a sense of ease and class for their new hair studio. I created a concept that didn’t go the obvious route of making merely a stylized orchid but rather created a logo design that implied an orchid in the pattern of a swirl featured into the letter O in the name and by placing attention on the logo design with the silhouette of a hummingbird hovering over the logo design itself. The obvious path in creating a business logo is in most cases the wrong direction and in this case, the design ended up not being about the flower but alternately laid the emphasis on the emotion that they really wanted to forecast to their clients.

Arabian steed logo layout produced for a horse cattle ranch that concentrates on reproducing Arabian program steeds.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

ImageCo developed a distinct logotype design fashioned to illustrate the unique physical traits of the Arabian kind of horses. By having a different head form and higher tail carriage, the Arabian is one of the most easily recognizable equine types in the world.

Logo design for a software application programmer the layout features as well as iconic component of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the central part of an operating system (OS). Typically, the kernel is responsible for memory management, process and task management, and hard drive managing. The kernel links the computer hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that acts as a connection in between the software program and hardware.

The business logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a number of miles from the offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to point out anything to anyone regarding what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. Nevertheless it meant something to the business owner of the company and in quite a few cases the meaning supporting a logo design is just as important as how it serves the business it stands for.

Evolv Interior Design | Logo Design | Branding

A logo design featuring an angler in the center of the name casting a fly in the direction of the audience.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brands like Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in over 7 billion a year offering supplies and equipment to outdoor sporting lovers the founders of On the Fly knew the market was primed for an outdoor sporting merchant that functions as a consignment firm. Whether or not you are into boating, sportfishing or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a venue for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all sorts of interests, a location to sell off their secondhand equipment to other sports enthusiasts. I tailored their Modesto logo dsign with a graphic which garners the interest of vehicles and projects an image that wakens the passion of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages forty five mph I realized it would take more than the average logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the graphic of a fly fisherman in his natural and relaxed habitat.
Logo design MQ farms, this logo layout has a field included into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms emblem design wasn’t actually produced for an Modesto regional farm it was actually developed for an investments broker, and this particular trademark was one of several which fell under the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The aim was to create a graphic that projected trust, financial success, and wealth.
Logo design created for making use of a sign for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is a luxuriant manuscript font style that is evocative a popular sporting activities group logo.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve designed loads of restaurant logos and business signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the USA, from cupcake bakeries to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a neat undertaking where I worked closely with the owner to create a logo which worked very well and did a great job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the neon sign which hung over their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
