Moreno Valley, California Logo Design

Nearly every new Moreno Valley business understands that they require a logo, but few entrepreneurs entirely recognize the key role their business logo can make in their becoming successful, or the reason that one logo performs better than another. A business logo has an instant and long term influence on the success of a business, select the right one and it can make the door swing and phone ring, go with the wrong one and it can be a barrier and an impediment for the longevity of a business.

The logos featured in the ImageCo portfolio help Moreno Valley, California businesses prosper, they are effective in any given situation and the reason they are so effective is because they all have these five features in common.

  1. Simplicity: simple logo designs don’t demand deliberation, they can be comprehended in just a glance.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to billboards a scalable business logo will remain legible and equally emotive at virtually any scale.
  3. Versatility: logos that function on any device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are personal, and they are suitable for the organization they represent.
  5. Relevance: a logo should be enduring and will feel relevant today, tomorrow, and thirty years from now.

Logo PORTFOLIO Volume 1

Retro logo style of a bike produced for a Moreno Valley, California coffee cafe and a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This budding coffee roaster and coffee shop were opening up in an old part of the community and wished to visualize a vintage feel without appearing as uninteresting or low energy. I fulfilled each of the jobs by developing a trademark concept that contains a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, higher energy, and is a timeless business image.

clinical logo design with a microscopic lense slide as well as bacteria created for Moreno Valley, California clinical clinic.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science that investigates the triggers and outcomes of diseases, especially the branch of healthcare which deals with the clinical examination of samplings of human body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic objectives.

The Mid-Valley Pathology logo I came up with is really the sole instance I remember where I was able to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide into a business logo design.

Typically I attempt not to be extremely literal with a concept and to a point, this specific design approaches the company it serves fairly literally, yet it does it in a fashion that incorporates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an illustration of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancer to the brand that makes it more interesting, more attention grabbing and much more memorable.

logo design with a jumping green frog designed for a family enjoyable facility in Moreno Valley, California.

Cool Springs | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really fun project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the norm of the sorts of projects which come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for doctors, dental professionals, and legal professionals but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park which I have actually ever had the opportunity to work on.

Given that the name of the company features the word springz in its name the clear choice would have been to incorporate a couple springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun location to go and spring doesn’t actually resonate an atmosphere of fun does it. My thought process on this project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, eventually I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the name itself to give the logo a more dynamic high energy feel.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my design and named the frog Jax and featured him in to everything they utilized for advertising and marketing. I also believe this is the only time that a logo I did was made into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fashioned to look exactly like my frog design.

digital photography logo featuring a flock of birds, a mountain, a trail, a stream, and a tree - created for Moreno Valley, California traveling professional photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo design job I took on for a travel photographer, which is a rather specialized field of photography and I believe it is a niche speciality due to the fact that travel photographers don’t capture locations or things but rather project emotional journeys by means of the photos they record. The idea behind this logo design was to utilize negative space to communicate more than what was visible upon initial view, which I think is quintessential of the majority of professional photographers in that they frequently tell entire stories through their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words but I think that some photographs convey much more than that because their photos frequently have an emotional fullness which can’t be conveyed with just words. I tried to do something very similar to this logo design by making use of the positive space in the design to say one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was communicated through the first impression. I think, in looking back, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Moreno Valley logo but also to reveal the depth of her work and in the way that she sees the world through the lens of her camera.

Moreno Valley logo layout with a seagull used for the letter A. Designed for a cordless retail business.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The lion’s share of logo design jobs that I take on I really savor and the Coastal Wireless assignment was one that I certainly felt good about, however the client didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the concept of using the seagull silhouette as a stroke in the character A however my client, while he liked the concept, really did not care for my choice of birds. This man seriously disliked seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, fortunately the rest of his family did not share his hatred for this specific variety of sea bird.

When I turn a concept over to a client I encourage them to share it with friends and family members as well as with folks that they don’t even know so as to get unbiased assessments on the value of a concept. Fortunately, he discussed it with his family and they loved the design and were able to persuade him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to include every other seabird he could think of … eventually I was able to talk him out of his choice of a pelican and he proceeded with the original concept.

Custom logo designs are a strange creature in the design world because the people that are inclined to hire a professional to create their logo recognize how crucial a logo is for their business so they are much more vested in the result. Every logo job possesses it’s allotment of challenges, however the largest obstacle is finding that sweet spot in a design that works really well at the task it’s needed to do in branding a company and also giving the customer the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo layout with bamboo in the background, layout for Moreno Valley, California publication publisher

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a narrow segment of real estate to work with, however it really is the most important part of a published book due to the fact that it is usually the first thing a person views in the book store. Regarding a publisher, it’s the most ideal opportunity that they will ever get to advertise their label and get their logo design in front of the people that purchase actual books.

This three color design is vibrant, picturesque and eye-catching and it leaves plenty of area for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design made for an airline company in Los Angeles, the logo design has 2 letter A's with the bars modified to suggest they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines come and go nevertheless it seems that in many instances 1 of the aspects folks usually tend to remember the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a smaller start-up commuter/shuttle airline based in LA and although I’m not certain it really “took off” their business logo didn’t ground them. The bookend A’s in their title lent itself well to affording a good sense of airline flight and it was definitely a winner.

Moreno Valley logo design made use of for advertising and marketing and a tag layout for Vintage Instance features an old typeface design.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in all new cases for musical instruments, which seemed to be much older cases. For this business logo concept I tried to come up with a logo that offered a fluid nostalgic feel to it and could easily be utilized for anything from a web site to a label on brand new cases that appeared like they were from another generation.

Logo developed for an orthodontist in Moreno Valley, California, style include an arc with lines converging through it to imply steel braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental business logos can be one of the most challenging logo design projects because it appears that every dentist integrates a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental business logos are one of the most cliche ridden careers when it comes to company advertising, if restaurants approached their advertising in the exact same way dental practices do every one of their company logos would definitely be a picture explaining something they served, McDonalds would most likely include an image of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind including an image of something mouth related to a dentist’s company logo nevertheless it has to be done subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dentistry profession.

I really love doing dental business logos simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a particular field of dental treatment like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd course of action that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics delivered such an opportunity and inevitably I created a concept that does not have a single smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still implied in the concept. When I turned this concept over to the customer the only smile that was evident was really the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo made for a family members nonprofit, the logo features 4 characters staggered in height to represent a family with in the layout.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation reached out to ImageCo to help them come up with a logo that would be illustrative of the devotion that William McNally had for the folks in his city. Most logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain depictions of a happy family, a cliche heavy technique to any logo design is to be overly literal with regards to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best concepts are the ones that are downplayed and don’t hit the viewer on the head with what the business or organization hopes to communicate.

The McNally Foundation’s name presented a unique opportunity to do a logo design that communicated that they were about families without being overtly corny about it. The goal of a logo is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer tries to use the logo to summarize exactly how individuals ought to think or feel they don’t understand the goal of a logo. If you have to consider a logo to understand what it means, it has fallen short, a logo needs to be instantly understood and a logo design that illustrates itself will never have the likelihood to be comprehended.

Logo layout created for a hair design studio featuring a manuscript font a hummingbird and also an implied orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios wanted a company logo which carried a feeling of peace and connection for their new hair studio. I created a design that didn’t go the obvious direction of making just a stylized orchid but alternatively crafted a logo that implied an orchid in the pattern of a swirl featured in to the letter O in the name and by putting attention on the logo design with the silhouette of a hummingbird hovering above the logo itself. The obvious path in designing a logo is frequently the incorrect direction and in this case, the design ended up not being about the flower but instead laid the focus on the emotion that they wanted to transmit to their patrons.

Arabian horse logo design created for a horse ranch that concentrates on reproducing Arabian program horses.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

ImageCo created a one-of-a-kind logotype concept fashioned to display the unique physical traits of the Arabian kind of equines. With a different head shape and very high tail carriage, the Arabian is one of the most quite easily recognizable equine breeds in the entire world.

Las Cafe | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

Las Cafe logo style a little restaurant, layout consists of a modified script typeface which hovers over a group of ornate lines and dots.

Logo layout for a software developer the layout functions as well as renowned component of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the key part of an operating system (OS). Typically, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task control, and drive management. The kernel links the computer hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that behaves as a connection in between the software and computer hardware.

The logo design I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a number of miles from the offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to explain anything to anyone regarding to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. Nevertheless it represented something to the owner of the company and in quite a few cases the significance supporting a business logo is equally as important as how it brands the organization it represents.

A logo style including a fisherman in the center of the name casting a fly towards the visitor.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brands such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in over 7 billion a year selling supplies and equipment to outdoor sporting lovers the founders of On the Fly recognized the market was ready for an outdoor sporting merchant that operates as a consignment firm. Whether you are into boating, angling or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly presents a place for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all types of interests, a spot to market their used products to other sports enthusiasts. I designed their Moreno Valley logo design dsign along with a graphic that garners the attention of traffic and sends an image that calls to mind the passion of the outdoors. With traffic that averages forty five mph I knew it would take more than the average logo/sign to get commuters to take notice, hence the image of a fly fisherman in his natural and peaceful habitat.
Logo design MQ farms, this logo layout has an area integrated into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms custom logo design wasn’t really developed for an Moreno Valley, California area farm it was actually devised for an investments broker, and this particular business logo was one of multiple which fell beneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The end goal was to develop an identity that projected confidence, success, and opulence.

Moreno Valley Logo design for a nonprofit, Transforming Point Solutions - the logo design feature for outwardly facing arrowhead and the arrowheads indicate that it is a diamond shape.

Turning Point Foundation | Logo Design

The Turning Point Foundation was completely open to what type of logo design they desired, this can be a good thing or a bad thing. Good in that it provides a designer the opportunity to delve into any concept that comes to mind, bad in that it’s tricky to hit a bullseye without understanding where the target is. Fortunately, in this case, I hit a bullseye with the first go.

Logo designed for using a sign for the restaurant (Brewgrrs), it is a luxuriant manuscript font style that is reminiscent of a well-known sporting activities team logo.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve created dozens of restaurant business logos and business signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the United States, from cupcake bakeries to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I believe Brewgrrs was my favorite. Brewgrrs was a neat undertaking where I worked directly with the proprietor to create a business logo that worked really well and did a fantastic job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the lighted sign which hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very legible from over a block away.
