Palmdale, California Logo Design

Each and every new Palmdale company knows they require a logo, yet few new business owners fully realize the pivotal role their company logo can play in their success, or why one business logo performs far better than another. A logo design has an immediate and sustaining influence on the success of a business, select the correct one and it will make the door swing and phone ring, select the incorrect one and it will be an obstacle and an impediment for the life span of a business.

The logos featured in the ImageCo portfolio help Palmdale, California companies prosper, they are effective in any given circumstance and the reason they are so effective is because they all have these five features in common.

  1. Simplicity: simple logos don’t demand consideration, they can be comprehended in merely a glance.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to posters a scalable business logo will stay legible and just as emotive at virtually any scale.
  3. Versatility: logos that work on any sort of device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball-cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are personal, and they are suitable for the organization they stand for.
  5. Relevance: a logo needs to be enduring and should feel relevant today, tomorrow, and twenty five years from today.

Logo PORTFOLIO Volume 1

Retro logo design of a bicycle created for a Palmdale, California coffee cafe as well as a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This fledgling coffee roaster and coffee bar were actually launching in an older part of the community and hoped to project an old-fashioned atmosphere without appearing as uninteresting or low energy. I achieved both jobs by means of creating a sign design that features a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is antiquated, high energy, and is a classic business image.

medical logo layout with a microscope slide as well as bacteria created for Palmdale, California medical center.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science that examines the triggers and outcomes of diseases, especially the field of medicine which works with the clinical evaluation of samplings of body tissue for diagnostic or forensic intents.

The Mid-Valley Pathology logo design I came up with is the only instance I remember where I was in a position to integrate a bacteria-laden microscope slide within a logo design.

Typically I attempt not to be excessively literal with a concept and to a point, this specific design approaches the company it serves fairly literally, but it does it in a fashion that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an illustration of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancer to the name that makes it more interesting, more attention grabbing and even more unforgettable.

logo style with a jumping environment-friendly frog made for a household fun facility in Palmdale, California.

Cool Springs | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really cool project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s additionally a project that is way out of the norm of the types of jobs that come my way, I’ve produced dozens of logo designs for health care providers, dentists, and legal professionals but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park that I have ever gotten the privilege to work on.

Given that the title of the company has the word springz in its name the obvious choice would have been to include a few springs into the concept but Cool Springz is a fun location to go and spring doesn’t really resonate an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this logo project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, in the end I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to provide the logo a more lively high energy feeling.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my design and named the frog Jax and included him in to everything they used for promotion and marketing. I also believe this is the only time that a logo I designed was transformed into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fashioned to look exactly like my frog design.

photography logo including a flock of birds, a hill, a route, a stream, and a tree - designed for Palmdale, California traveling digital photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a custom logo design job I took on for a travel photographer, which is a rather specialized field of photography and I think it is a niche speciality because travel photographers tend not to shoot places or things but rather convey emotional journeys by means of the images they record. The idea behind this logo design was to make use of negative space to communicate more than what was visible upon initial glance, which I think is quintessential of almost all good photographers in that they often convey entire stories through their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words but I think that some photographs convey much more than that because their photos often have an emotional resonance which can’t be revealed with mere words. I attempted to do something very similar to this logo design by utilizing the positive space in the design to say one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my objective was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Palmdale logo design but also to show the depth in her art and in the way that she perceives the world through the lens of her camera.

Palmdale logo style with a seagull made use of for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail service.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The bulk of business logo design jobs that I take on I truly savor and the Coastal Wireless project was one that I certainly felt good about, but the client didn’t quite share my excitement for it. I felt really good about the concept of using the seagull silhouette as a stroke in the character A however my customer, while he loved the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This particular guy really loathed seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, luckily the rest of his friends and family didn’t share his aversion for this specific kind of sea bird.

When I turn a concept over to a customer I encourage all of them to discuss it with friends and family as well as with other people that they don’t actually know so as to get impartial viewpoints on the worthiness of a design concept. Fortunately, he shared it with his whole family and they loved the design and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to insert every other seabird he could think of … in the end I was able to talk him out of his preference of a pelican and he went with the original design.

Logo designs are a weird creature in the design world given that the people that tend to hire an expert to design their logo understand how important a logo is for their organization so they are way more invested in the end result. Every logo design project possesses it’s portion of hurdles, but the most significant obstacle is finding that sweet spot in a design that operates really well at the task it’s needed to do in branding a business and also providing the customer the image they see for themselves.

a red panda logo style with bamboo in the background, layout for Palmdale, California book author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a narrow segment of real estate to work with, however it is the most essential part of a printed book given that it is ordinarily the very first thing a person sees in the bookstore. Concerning a publishing company, it’s the opportunity they will likely ever have to promote their label and get their logo design in front of the people that buy actual books.

This three color design is vibrant, picturesque and eye-catching and it gives plenty of area for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo developed for an airline company in Los Angeles, the logo has two letter A's with the bars modified to suggest they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and depart yet it seems that in many occurrences 1 of the items people tend to recall the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a modest start-up commuter/shuttle air service situated in LA and while I’m not certain it actually “took off” their logo design didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their name lent itself well to imparting a spirit of flight and it was certainly a success.

Palmdale logo layout used for advertising and a tag style for Vintage Situation features an archaic font design.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case focused in new cases for musical instruments, which appeared to be antique cases. For this custom logo concept I tried to come up with a logo that offered a fluid retro feel to it and could easily be utilized for anything from a web site to a label on brand new cases that appeared like they were from another generation.

Logo design produced for an orthodontist in Palmdale, California, style include an arc with lines intersecting through it to imply metal braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental care business logos can be one of the most challenging and difficult logo projects because it appears that almost every dentist features a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental logo designs are one of the most cliche ridden careers when it comes to business marketing, if dining establishments approached their branding in the very same way dental practitioners do every one of their company logos would be a picture explaining anything they served, McDonalds would probably have an image of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind incorporating an illustration of something mouth associated to a dentist’s company logo but it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dental professionals logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental care profession.

I actually really love doing dental logos because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies the field of dentistry or a specific area of the field of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd course of action that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics provided such an opportunity and eventually I created a design that does not have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still suggested in the concept. When I turned this particular concept over to the client the only smile that was obvious was really the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo developed for a family members nonprofit, the logo features 4 personalities surprised in height to stand for a family unit with in the layout.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation contacted ImageCo to help them come up with a logo that would be illustrative of the devotion that William McNally had for the folks in his community. Many logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain depictions of a happy family, a cliche heavy approach to any logo design is to be overly literal with regards to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve found that the best designs are the ones that are downplayed and don’t hit the viewer on the head with what the business or organization wants to communicate.

The McNally Foundation’s name provided a unique opportunity to do a logo design which conveyed that they were about families without being openly corny about it. The aim of a logo is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer makes an effort to use the logo design to illustrate precisely how individuals should think or feel they don’t understand the objective of a logo. If people have to consider a logo to understand what it means, it has been in vain, a logo needs to be immediately comprehended and a logo that describes itself will never have the opportunity to be comprehended.

Logo style produced for a hair design workshop including a script font a hummingbird and also an implied orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios desired a company logo that projected a feeling of tranquility and class for their new hair salon. I came up with a design that didn’t go the obvious course of creating simply a stylized orchid but instead crafted a business logo which suggested a flower in the pattern of a swirl blended into the letter O in the name and by putting emphasis on the concept using the silhouette of a hummingbird floating over the logo design itself. The obvious path in creating a company logo is in most cases the wrong route and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but instead laid the attention on the feeling that they really wanted to project to their clients.

Arabian steed logo layout produced for a steed cattle ranch that focuses on breeding Arabian show steeds.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

ImageCo crafted a distinct logotype concept tailored to symbolize the unique physical traits of the Arabian pedigree of equines. With an unique head form and high tail carriage, the Arabian is one of the very most easily recognizable horse types in the world.

Las Coffee shop logo layout a small dining establishment, style consists of a changed manuscript typeface which floats above a group of ornate lines and also dots.

Logo style for a software application designer the style attributes and famous aspect of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the central component of an operating system (OS). Generally, the kernel is responsible for memory management, process and task management, and disk managing. The kernel connects the computer hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that functions as a connection in between the software and hardware.

The business logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a couple of miles from the offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to point out anything to anyone with regards to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However it intimated something to the owner of the business and in quite a few cases the symbolism supporting a logo design is just as important as how it serves the company it represents.

Progress logo layout developed for a Palmdale, California interior developer, design function a series of red circles that converge and replace the letter O in the center of the logo design.

A logo style featuring an angler in the center of the name casting a fly in the direction of the audience.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brands such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year selling supplies and equipment to outdoor sporting fans the owners of On the Fly understood the market was primed for an outdoor sporting merchant that operates as a consignment company. Whether or not you are into boating, angling or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly presents a location for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all kinds of passions, a spot to sell their previously owned equipment to other sports enthusiasts. I created their Palmdale logo design dsign utilizing a graphic which captures the interest of traffic and sends an image that evokes the passion of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages 45 miles per hour I knew it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get commuters to take notice, hence the picture of a fly fisherman in his natural and serene habitat.
Logo style MQ ranches, this logo layout has actually an area incorporated into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms company logo design wasn’t really designed for an Palmdale, California regional farm it was really designed for a commodities broker, and this company was one of multiple which fell underneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The aim was to design a image that projects trust, effectiveness, and wealth.

Palmdale Logo design for a nonprofit, Transforming Point Solutions - the logo design function for ostensibly facing arrowhead and also the arrowheads imply that it is a diamond shape.

Turning Point Foundation | Logo Design

The Turning Point Foundation was entirely open to what type of logo design they desired, that can be a good thing or a bad thing. Good in that it grants a designer the flexibility to investigate any idea that comes to mind, bad in that it’s challenging to hit a bullseye without knowing where exactly the target is. Luckily, in this particular instance, I hit a bullseye with the first try.

Logo designed for making use of an indication for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is an elaborate script typeface that is similar to a well-known sports team logo.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve created loads of restaurant logo designs and business signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the United States, from cupcake bake shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I believe Brewgrrs was my favorite. Brewgrrs was a cool undertaking in which I worked closely with the owner to create a logo design which worked very well and did a fantastic job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the illuminated sign that hung over their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
