Paradise Logo Design

Virtually every new Paradise organization knows they require a logo, but few new business owners thoroughly realize the pivotal role their company logo will take in their financial success, or precisely why one logo performs better than another. A company logo has an immediate and long-term influence on the financial success of a company, select the right one and it can make the door swing and cash register ring, choose the wrong one and it can be an obstacle and a hindrance for the longevity of a business. The logos featured in the ImageCo portfolio help Paradise companies prosper, they are effective in any given scenario and the main reason they are so effective is that they all have these 5 traits in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logo designs do not require scrutiny, they can be comprehended in just a glimpse.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to signboards a scalable logo will remain legible and just as emotive at every size.
  3. Versatility: logos that operate on any type of device, in print, on product packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are personal, and they are suitable for the company they stand for.
  5. Relevance: a logo should be enduring and will feel relevant today, tomorrow, and twenty years from today.

Retro logo design of a bike produced for a Paradise coffee cafe and also a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This startup coffee roaster and cafe were launching in an older part of town and hoped to visualize a vintage vibe without appearing as stodgy or low energy. I achieved both of these tasks by means of designing a logo concept that includes a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, high energy, and is a enduring business image.

clinical logo layout with a microscope slide and also germs designed for Paradise clinical center.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the scientific discipline which researches the root causes and consequences of diseases, especially the branch of healthcare that deals with the clinical evaluation of samplings of human body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic objectives.

The Mid-Valley Pathology custom logo design I came up with is the only instance I recall where I was in a position to integrate a bacteria-laden microscope slide into a logo design.

Generally I try not to be excessively literal with a design and to a point, this design approaches the company it serves quite literally, but it does it in a way that incorporates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an illustration of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancer to the name that makes it more intriguing, more focus grabbing and even more memorable.

logo design with a leaping environment-friendly frog created for a household enjoyable center in Paradise.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a very fun project to work on, probably because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s additionally a project that is way out of the norm of the types of projects that come my way, I’ve produced dozens of logo designs for health care providers, dental practices, and attorneys but Cool Springz is without question the one and only trampoline park which I have actually ever gotten the opportunity to work on.

Given that the name of the company has the word springz in its name the clear choice would have been to incorporate a some springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun location to go and spring does not actually reflect an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, inevitably I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the name itself to provide the logo a better enthusiastic high energy feel.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my brainchild and named the frog Jax and included him in to everything they used for promotion and marketing. I also think this is the only time that a logo I came up with was made into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fashioned to look just like my frog design.

digital photography logo design including a flock of birds, a mountain, a trail, a stream, and also a tree - created for Paradise traveling digital photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo design job I took on for a travel photographer, which is a rather niche field of photography and I believe it is a niche sector because travel photographers don’t capture places or things but instead project emotional experiences by means of the images they record. The idea behind this logo design was to use negative space to communicate more than what was visible upon initial glance, which I think is quintessential of almost all good photographers in that they frequently share entire stories through their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words but I think that some photographs convey much more than that because their photos frequently have an emotional fullness that can’t be communicated with just words. I attempted to do something comparable to this logo by utilizing the positive space in the design to suggest one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was communicated through the first impression. I think, in looking back, that my objective was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Paradise logo but also to illustrate the depth of her art and in the way that she sees the world through the lens of her camera.

Paradise logo layout with a seagull used for the letter A. Designed for a cordless retail organisation.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The bulk of logo design jobs that I take on I really enjoy and the Coastal Wireless assignment was one that I certainly felt good about, but the customer didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull silhouette as a stroke in the letter A but the client, even though he liked the concept, really did not care for my choice of birds. This particular man really loathed seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, luckily the rest of his friends and family didn’t share his scorn for this particular kind of sea bird.

When I turn a concept over to a client I encourage them to share it with friends and colleagues and family as well as with other people that they don’t actually know so as to get neutral viewpoints on the value of a design concept. Fortunately, he talked about it with his family and they adored the concept and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to incorporate every other seabird he could think of … ultimately I was able to talk him out of his choice of a pelican and he went with the original concept.

Business logos are a weird creature in the design world because the people that are inclined to hire an expert to create their business logo recognize how essential a logo is for their organization so they are way more invested in the result. Every logo job possesses it’s portion of obstacles, but the greatest obstacle is finding that sweet spot in a design that works really well at the job it’s needed to do in branding a company and also giving the customer the image they see for themselves.

a red panda logo design with bamboo behind-the-scenes, design for Paradise book author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a narrow slice of real estate to work with, nevertheless it really is the most important part of a published book due to the fact that it is in most cases the very first thing a person sees in the book shop. Concerning a publishing company, it’s the absolute best opportunity that they will likely ever have to promote their product and get their logo design in front of the men and women that buy actual books.

This three color design is vivid, picturesque and eye-catching and it leaves plenty of room for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design created for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo has two letter A's with benches modified to imply they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines come and depart yet it seems like that in many occurrences one of the things individuals often tend to remember the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a modest fledgling commuter/shuttle air service situated in LA and although I’m not certain it really “took off” their business logo didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their title lent itself well to imparting a good sense of air travel and it was undoubtedly a winner.

Paradise logo layout used for marketing and also a label style for Vintage Situation includes an old-fashioned font design.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in all new cases for music instruments, which appeared to be vintage cases. For this brand concept I attempted to come up with a logo that had a fluid retro feel to it and could easily be used for every thing from a website to an insignia on brand new cases that seemed like they were from another generation.

Logo developed for an orthodontist in Paradise, style consist of an arc with lines converging via it to indicate metal braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental logos can be one of the most challenging logo jobs considering that it seems that almost every dentist involves a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dentistry business logos are one of the most cliche ridden professions when it comes to small business advertising, if restaurants approached their advertising in the same way dental professionals do every one of their company logos would definitely be a picture trying to explain something they served, McDonalds would likely contain a picture of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind including an illustration of something mouth associated to a dentist’s logo design nevertheless it has to be done subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dental professionals logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental care industry.

I really enjoy doing dental care business logos because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a certain field of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the stereotypical course of action that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics provided such an opportunity and eventually I created a layout that does not have a single smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still suggested in the concept. When I turned this design over to the customer the only smile that was obvious was really the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo developed for a family members not-for-profit, the logo design includes 4 personalities surprised in elevation to represent a family unit with in the style.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation contacted ImageCo to help them come up with a logo design that would be illustrative of the love that William McNally had for the residents in his community. The majority of logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain portrayals of a happy family, a cliche heavy technique to any logo design is to be very literal pertaining to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best designs are the ones that are downplayed and never hit the viewer on the head with what the company or institution hopes to convey.

The McNally Foundation’s name offered a unique opportunity to do a logo that conveyed that they were about families without being openly corny about it. The goal of a logo is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer attempts to use the logo design to illustrate how individuals should think or feel they don’t understand the objective of a logo. If viewers have to ponder a logo design to understand what it means, it has been in vain, a logo needs to be immediately comprehended and a logo that illustrates itself will never have the likelihood to be comprehended.

Logo layout produced for a hair style workshop featuring a script font a hummingbird as well as an implied orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios desired a logo design that carried an atmosphere of peace and class for their new hair studio. I created a design which didn’t go the obvious course of creating simply a stylized orchid but instead delivered a company logo which suggested a flower in the pattern of a swirl featured into the letter O in the name and by putting attention on the concept using the silhouette of a hummingbird floating over the logo itself. The obvious path in designing a business logo is more often than not the incorrect direction and in this case, the design ended up not being about the flower but alternately put the main focus on the perception that they really wanted to project to their customers.

Logo layout for a software program programmer the layout attributes and legendary aspect of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the key component of an operating system (OS). Traditionally, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task control, and hard drive managing. The kernel attaches the computer hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that acts as a connection in between the software and hardware.

The business logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a number of miles from the offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to explain anything to anyone regarding what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. Nevertheless it represented something to the business owner of the business and in many cases the significance supporting a logo design is equally as important as how it serves the business it stands for.

A logo design featuring a fisherman in the center of the name casting a fly towards the visitor.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brand names such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in over 7 billion a year retailing goods and equipment to outdoor sporting enthusiasts the founders of On the Fly recognized the market was prepared for an outdoor sporting store that functions as a consignment firm. Whether or not you are into boating, angling or mountain climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a destination for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all types of passions, a location to sell their used items to other sports enthusiasts. I tailored their Paradise logo dsign with a graphic which grabs the attention of traffic and projects an image that invokes the enthusiasm of the outdoors. With traffic that averages forty five miles per hour I realized it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get commuters to take notice, hence the image of a fly fisherman in his natural and relaxed habitat.
Logo design MQ ranches, this logo design has actually an area integrated right into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms brand design wasn’t actually created for an Paradise regional farm it was in reality created for an investments broker, and this particular logo design was one of several that fell beneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The end goal was to design an identity that projects assurance, financial success, and opulence.
Logo design designed for using an indicator for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is an elaborate script font that is reminiscent of a renowned sports team logo design.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I have designed quite a lot of restaurant custom logo designs and business signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the USA, from cupcake pastry shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a neat project where I worked directly with the business owner to create a business logo that worked very well and did a great job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the neon sign that hung over their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
