Paso Robles Logo Design

Nearly every new Paso Robles company realizes that they need a logo, but few entrepreneurs entirely realize the vital role their logo can take in their success, or precisely why one logo works more effectively than another. A business logo has an instant and long term influence on the growth of a business, go with the correct one and it can make the door swing and cash register ring, go with the incorrect one and it will be a barrier and a hindrance for the life of an organization. The logos included in the ImageCo portfolio help Paso Robles companies prosper, they are effective in any given circumstance and the main reason they are so effective is because they all have these 5 things in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logo designs don’t require consideration, they can be comprehended in merely a look.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to posters a scalable logo will remain legible and equally emotive at any size.
  3. Versatility: logos that function on any type of device, in print, on product packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are exclusive, and they are suitable for the business they represent.
  5. Relevance: a business logo should be timeless and should feel relevant today, tomorrow, and thirty years from now.

Retro logo style of a bicycle developed for a Paso Robles coffee cafe and a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This startup coffee roaster and cafe were opening in an older part of the town and really wanted to cast an old-fashioned feel without coming across as uninteresting or low energy. I fulfilled the two tasks by means of designing a company logo concept that uses a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is antiquated, higher energy, and is a enduring business image.

clinical logo style with a microscopic lense slide and germs developed for Paso Robles clinical clinic.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science that analyzes the triggers and effects of diseases, especially the branch of medicine which works with the laboratory examination of samples of body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic intents.

The Mid-Valley Pathology logo I came up with is the sole instance I recall in which I was able to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide within a business logo design.

Typically I attempt not to be overly literal with a design and to a point, this specific design approaches the company it serves rather literally, however it does it in a way that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an explanation of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancer to the name that makes it more appealing, more interest grabbing and more unforgettable.

logo style with a jumping environment-friendly frog made for a household fun center in Paso Robles.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really fun project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s additionally a project that is way out of the usual of the kinds of jobs which come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for physicians, dental offices, and attorneys but Cool Springz is without question the one and only trampoline park that I have ever gotten the privilege to work on.

Given that the name of the business has the word springz in its name the clear choice would have been to include a couple of springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun place to go and spring doesn’t actually reflect an atmosphere of fun does it. My thought process on this logo project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, in the end I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to give the logo a much more enthusiastic high energy feel.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my concept and named the frog Jax and featured him in to everything they utilized for advertising and marketing. I also believe this is the only time that a logo I created was turned into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fashioned to look exactly like my frog design.

photography logo featuring a group of birds, a mountain, a trail, a stream, and a tree - made for Paso Robles traveling digital photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a custom logo design project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a fairly specialized field of photography and I believe it is a niche speciality because travel photographers tend not to shoot locations or things but rather reveal emotional experiences through the pictures they record. The thought behind this logo design was to utilize negative space to convey more than what was visible upon first view, which I think is quintessential of most good photographers in that they oftentimes convey entire stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey significantly more than that because their photos often have an emotional resonance which can’t be communicated with mere words. I tried to do something comparable to this logo by using the positive space in the design to voice one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Paso Robles logo design but also to illustrate the depth to her art and in the way that she sees the world through the lens of her camera.

Paso Robles logo design with a seagull used for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail business.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The bulk of business logo design projects that I take on I truly savor and the Coastal Wireless assignment was one that I really felt good about, however the customer didn’t quite share my excitement for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull form as a stroke in the character A but my customer, even though he loved the concept, really did not care for my choice of birds. This man genuinely loathed seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, fortunately the rest of his friends and family didn’t share his hatred for this specific breed of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a customer I urge them to discuss it with friends and colleagues and family members as well as with people that they don’t even know so as to get honest judgements on the benefit of a design concept. Fortunately, he talked about it with his family and they really liked the concept and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to insert every other seabird he could think of … in the end I was able to talk him out of his choice of a pelican and he proceeded with the original concept.

Logos are a weird animal in the design world given that the people that are inclined to hire an expert to create their logo recognize how essential a logo is for their company so they are way more vested in the outcome. Every logo design job has it’s portion of obstacles, but the biggest obstacle is identifying that sweet spot in a design that works really well at the task it’s needed to do in branding a business and also providing the customer the image they see for themselves.

a red panda logo layout with bamboo behind-the-scenes, style for Paso Robles publication publisher

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a slender segment of real estate to work with, yet it is the most vital part of a published book because it is ordinarily the very first thing a person sees in the book store. With respect to a publisher, it’s the opportunity they will likely ever get to spotlight their label and get their logo design in front of the people that purchase actual books.

This three color design is vivid, colorful and eye-catching and it leaves plenty of area for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo developed for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo design has 2 letter A's with benches modified to suggest they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines come and go but it seems that in many instances one of the items individuals often tend to recall the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a young startup commuter/shuttle air service situated in LA and although I’m not sure it actually “took off” their logo design didn’t ground them. The bookend A’s in their name lent itself well to affording a sense of airline flight and it was undoubtedly a winner.

Paso Robles logo design utilized for advertising and marketing and also a label style for Vintage Instance includes an archaic typeface design.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in brand new cases for music instruments, that seemed to be much older cases. For this logo design I attempted to come up with a logo that possessed a fluid vintage feel to it and could be utilized for anything from a web page to a label on brand new cases that looked like they were from a different point in time.

Logo created for an orthodontist in Paso Robles, layout consist of an arc with lines intersecting through it to suggest metal braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental care logos can be one of the most difficult logo jobs due to the fact that it appears that every single dentist incorporates a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental logos are one of the very most cliche ridden careers when it comes to business advertising, if dining establishments approached their advertising in the exact same way dental practices do every one of their logo designs would be a picture trying to explain anything they served, McDonalds would probably contain an image of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind adding a likeness of something mouth related to a dentist’s company logo but it has to be done subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dental professionals logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental profession.

I really love doing dental business logos because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies the field of dentistry or a certain area of dental treatment like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd solution that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics delivered such an opportunity and inevitably I created a design that doesn’t have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still suggested in the design. When I turned this particular concept over to the client the only smile that was apparent was the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo design designed for a family not-for-profit, the logo includes 4 characters surprised in height to represent a family unit with in the design.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation reached out to ImageCo to help them come up with a brand identity design that would be representative of the devotion that William McNally had for the residents in his city. The majority of logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain pictures of a happy family, a cliche heavy technique to any logo design is to be overly literal about what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best designs are the ones that are downplayed and never hit the viewer on the head with what the business or institution wishes to project.

The McNally Foundation’s name presented a unique opportunity to do a logo which conveyed that they were about families without being openly cheesy about it. The aim of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer makes an effort to use the logo design to summarize exactly how individuals ought to think or feel they don’t understand the objective of a logo. If people have to think about a logo design to understand what it means, it has been in vain, a logo needs to be immediately comprehended and a logo that describes itself won’t have the opportunity to be comprehended.

Logo style produced for a hair layout studio including a manuscript font a hummingbird and an indicated orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios needed a company logo which related a feeling of serenity and elegance for their new hair salon. I created a design that did not go the obvious path of designing just a stylized orchid but alternatively created a logo which suggested a flower in the pattern of a swirl featured in to the letter O in the title and by putting attention on the logo design with the figure of a hummingbird floating over the logo design itself. The obvious path in designing a business logo is usually the incorrect path and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but alternately laid the focus on the feeling that they really wanted to project to their patrons.

Arabian steed logo style developed for a horse cattle ranch that concentrates on breeding Arabian show horses.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

ImageCo designed a unique organization logo design fashioned to symbolize the unique physical traits of the Arabian kind of equines. By having a distinctive head shape and higher tail carriage, the Arabian is one of the very most easily identifiable equine types in the whole world.

Logo design for a software application designer the style attributes as well as famous component of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the central part of an operating system (OS). Typically, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task control, and disk operations. The kernel attaches the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that functions as a bridge between the software program and hardware.

The logo design I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is located a few miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to explain anything to anyone regarding to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. Nevertheless it intimated something to the owner of the company and in quite a few cases the meaning supporting a company logo is equally as important as how it brands the business it represents.

Advanced Leadership Solutions | Logo Design | Website Design

This Paso Robles logo design project was carried out for a management consultant that assists business leaders to become more effective at overseeing people, expectations, and productivity.

A logo style featuring a fisherman in the center of the name casting a fly towards the customer.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brands like Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in over 7 billion a year retailing goods and equipment to outdoor sporting lovers the owners of On the Fly understood the market place was prepared for an outdoor sporting retailer that operates as a consignment company. Whether you are into boating, angling or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a destination for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all kinds of passions, a spot to market their pre-owned goods to other sports enthusiasts. I created their Paso Robles logo dsign using an image which garners the interest of vehicles and sends an image that arouses the passion of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages 45 mph I realized it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get commuters to take notice, hence the image of a fly fisherman in his natural and tranquil habitat.
Logo design MQ ranches, this logo design has an area integrated right into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms emblem concept wasn’t actually developed for an Paso Robles area farm it was actually created for an investments broker, and this particular business logo was one of many which fell beneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The end goal was actually to produce a graphic that projected trust, effectiveness, and wealth.
Logo designed for the use of an indication for the restaurant (Brewgrrs), it is an elaborate manuscript typeface that is reminiscent of a renowned sports group logo.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I have created loads of restaurant logos and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the United States, from cupcake bake shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a cool undertaking where I worked directly with the business owner to design a logo design that worked extremely well and did a fantastic job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the lighted sign which hung over their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
