Perris, California Logo Design

Each and every new Perris company understands that they are in need of a logo, yet few entrepreneurs fully are aware of the vital role their company logo can make in their becoming successful, or the reason that one logo design functions more effectively than another. A logo design has a critical and lasting effect on the prosperity of a company, pick the right one and it will make the door swing and phone ring, choose the incorrect one and it can be a barrier and an impediment for the life of an organization.

The logos included in the ImageCo portfolio help Perris, California companies succeed, they are effective in any given circumstance and the main reason they are so effective is that they all have these 5 things in common.

  1. Simplicity: simple logos do not demand scrutiny, they can be grasped in merely a glance.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to signboards a scalable business logo will continue to be legible and just as emotive at every size.
  3. Versatility: logos that operate on any sort of device, in print, on product packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are exclusive, and they are suitable for the enterprise they represent.
  5. Relevance: a logo should be timeless and will feel relevant today, tomorrow, and twenty years from today.

Logo PORTFOLIO Volume 1

Retro logo design of a bike developed for a Perris, California coffee cafe as well as a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This start-up coffee roaster and bistro were opening up in an older section of the area and wished to project a retro feel without appearing as monotonous or low energy. I achieved the two tasks by means of creating a custom logo design that incorporates a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, high energy, and is a classic business image.

medical logo style with a microscopic lense slide and bacteria made for Perris, California medical center.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the scientific discipline which studies the causes and outcomes of diseases, mainly the field of healthcare that works with the laboratory evaluation of samplings of body tissue for diagnostic or forensic purposes.

The Mid-Valley Pathology logo design I came up with is the only instance I remember where I was able to integrate a bacteria-laden microscope slide right into a business logo design.

Generally I attempt not to be overly literal with a design and to a point, this design approaches the company it serves rather literally, yet it does it in a fashion that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as a description of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the brand that helps make it more interesting, more attention grabbing and a lot more memorable.

logo style with a leaping green frog developed for a household enjoyable facility in Perris, California.

Cool Springs | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really cool project to work on, probably because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s additionally a project that is way out of the norm of the kinds of projects that come my way, I’ve produced dozens of logo designs for physicians, dental professionals, and legal professionals but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park that I have actually ever had the opportunity to work on.

Given that the full name of the company has the word springz in its name the apparent choice would have been to incorporate a some springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun place to go and spring doesn’t really reflect an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, eventually I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to provide the logo a more enthusiastic high energy feeling.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my concept and named the frog Jax and integrated him in to everything they utilized for promotion and marketing. I also think this is the only time that a logo I came up with was made into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fashioned to look exactly like my frog design.

photography logo including a group of birds, a mountain, a trail, a stream, and a tree - developed for Perris, California travel digital photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo job I took on for a travel photographer, which is a rather specialized field of photography and I think it is a niche field because travel photographers tend not to shoot locations or things but instead reveal emotional journeys by means of the photos they capture. The idea behind this logo composition was to utilize negative space to convey more than what was visible upon first view, which I think is representative of most good photographers in that they oftentimes share entire stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words but I think that some photographs convey significantly more than that because their photos often have an emotional fullness that can’t be conveyed with just words. I made an effort to do something similar to this logo design by using the positive space in the design to suggest one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my objective was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Perris logo design but also to illustrate the depth to her work and in the way that she sees the world through the lens of her camera.

Perris logo layout with a seagull used for the letter A. Designed for a cordless retail organisation.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The bulk of logo design jobs that I take on I really relish and the Coastal Wireless design was one that I really felt good about, however the customer didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the concept of using the seagull shape as a stroke in the letter A however the client, while he liked the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This man really hated seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, luckily the rest of his family didn’t share his aversion for this specific kind of sea bird.

When I turn a concept over to a customer I encourage them to share it with friends and family members as well as with people that they don’t even know so as to get unbiased viewpoints on the worthiness of a concept. Fortunately, he discussed it with his family members and they really loved the design and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to include every other seabird he could think of … ultimately I was able to talk him out of his alternative of a pelican and he proceeded with the original design.

Business logos are a strange creature in the design world given that the people that tend to hire an expert to create their business logo realize how crucial a logo design is for their organization so they are much more vested in the final result. Every logo design project possesses it’s allotment of difficulties, but the most significant challenge is identifying that sweet spot in a design that functions really well at the job it’s required to do in branding a business and also providing the customer the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo layout with bamboo behind-the-scenes, design for Perris, California book publisher

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a thin slice of real estate to work with, nevertheless it is the most necessary part of a printed book since it is in most cases the very first thing a person sees in the book store. For a publisher, it’s the best opportunity that they will likely ever get to advertise their product and get their logo design in front of the people that purchase actual books.

This 3 color design is vivid, colorful and eye-catching and it gives plenty of space for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo designed for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo has 2 letter A's with the bars modified to imply they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines come and go however it looks like that in many occurrences one of the things folks tend to remember the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a modest startup commuter/shuttle airline company situated in LA and although I’m not certain it actually “took off” their business logo didn’t ground them. The bookend A’s in their title lent itself well to confering a spirit of flight and it was certainly a success.

Perris logo style made use of for advertising and a label style for Vintage Instance features an old-fashioned font style layout.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in brand new cases for music instruments, which appeared to be vintage cases. For this brand concept I attempted to come up with a logo that offered a fluid old style feel to it and could be used for everything from a web page to an insignia on brand new cases that seemed like they were from another era.

Logo design produced for an orthodontist in Perris, California, layout consist of an arc with lines converging with it to suggest metal dental braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dentistry logo designs can easily be one of the most challenging logo design jobs considering that it appears that almost every dentist integrates a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental business logos are one of the very most cliche ridden fields when it comes to business marketing, if dining establishments approached their advertising in the exact same way dental offices do every one of their logo designs would be a picture explaining anything they served, McDonalds would most likely contain an image of a potato and a cow.

I understand the thinking behind adding a likeness of something mouth related to a dentist’s company logo but it has to be done subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental profession.

I really really love doing dental care business logos simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies the field of dentistry or a certain area of the field of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the stereotypical approach that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics provided such an opportunity and eventually I created a layout that doesn’t have a single smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t overt, they are still suggested in the design. When I turned this particular concept over to the client the only smile that was obvious was actually the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo designed for a family not-for-profit, the logo includes 4 personalities startled in elevation to represent a family with in the layout.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation reached out to ImageCo to help them come up with a logo that would be illustrative of the devotion that William McNally had for the folks in his community. Many logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain images of a happy family, a cliche heavy method to any logo design is to be very literal pertaining to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best concepts are the ones that are understated and never hit the viewer on the head with what the business or institution wants to convey.

The McNally Foundation’s name provided a unique opportunity to do a custom logo design that conveyed that they were about families without being openly tacky about it. The objective of a logo is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer tries to use the logo to summarize how individuals should think or feel they don’t understand the objective of a logo. If people have to consider a logo to understand what it means, it has fallen short, a logo needs to be instantly comprehended and a logo design that describes itself will never have the chance to be comprehended.

Logo design produced for a hair design workshop featuring a script font a hummingbird and also an indicated orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios wanted a logo design that projected a spirit of calmness and elegance for their new hair studio. I created a design which did not go the obvious course of designing simply a stylized orchid but rather delivered a company logo that suggested a flower in the formation of a swirl blended in to the letter O in the title and by placing attention on the logo design along with the silhouette of a hummingbird hovering above the image itself. The obvious path in creating a logo is oftentimes the incorrect path and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but instead placed the importance on the feeling that they wanted to forecast to their clients.

Arabian steed logo layout produced for an equine ranch that concentrates on breeding Arabian show steeds.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

Las Coffee shop logo design a tiny restaurant, style includes a customized script typeface which floats over a group of elaborate lines and also dots.

Logo design for a software developer the layout functions and legendary element of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the principal part of an operating system (OS). Generally, the kernel is responsible for memory management, process and task control, and disk management. The kernel attaches the computer hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that behaves as a connection in between the software and hardware.

The logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a couple of miles from the offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to explain anything to anyone with regards to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However, it meant something to the business owner of the business and in quite a few cases the significance behind a logo design is equally as important as how it serves the enterprise it stands for.

A logo layout including a fisherman in the middle of the name casting a fly towards the visitor.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With companies such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year selling goods and equipment to outdoor sporting enthusiasts the founders of On the Fly recognized the market place was ready for an outdoor sporting retailer that operates as a consignment company. Whether you are into boating, angling or mountain climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly presents a location for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all types of passions, a spot to market their pre-owned items to other sports enthusiasts. I tailored their Perris logo design dsign along with an illustration which garners the interest of traffic and sends an image that evokes the passion of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages forty five miles per hour I realized it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get commuters to take notice, hence the graphic of a fly fisherman in his natural and serene habitat.
Logo layout MQ farms, this logo layout has an area incorporated right into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms logo idea wasn’t actually composed for an Perris, California regional farm it was really designed for a products broker, and this brand was one of multiple that fell underneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The end goal was to make a graphic that projected assurance, financial success, and luxury.

Perris Logo design for a not-for-profit, Transforming Factor Solutions - the logo layout feature for outwardly encountering arrowhead and also the arrowheads suggest that it is a diamond form.

Turning Point Foundation | Logo Design

The Turning Point Foundation was totally open to what type of logo design that they wanted, that can be a good thing or a bad thing. Good in that it gives a designer the opportunity to explore any idea that comes to mind, bad in that it’s difficult to hit a bullseye without realizing where exactly the target is. Luckily, in this particular case, I hit a bullseye with the 1st try.

Logo designed for the use of an indication for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is a luxuriant script typeface that is similar to a popular sports team logo.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve created dozens of restaurant logos and business signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the USA, from cupcake bakeries to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I believe Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a cool undertaking in which I worked directly with the proprietor to develop a logo design which worked really well and did a fantastic job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the illuminated sign which hung over their doors, and was highly visible and very legible from over a block away.
