San Pedro Logo Design

Each and every new San Pedro company understands that they require a logo, yet few entrepreneurs fully are aware of the vital role their business logo can make in their success, or the reason that one logo works far better than another. A business logo has an instant and long-term impact on the success of a company, select the right one and it will make the door swing and cash register ring, select the incorrect one and it can be an obstacle and a hindrance for the longevity of a company. The logos featured in the ImageCo portfolio help San Pedro companies prosper, they are effective in any given circumstance and the reason why they are so effective is that they all have these five features in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logo designs don’t demand consideration, they can be realized in just a glimpse.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to billboards a scalable logo design will continue to be legible and just as emotive at every size.
  3. Versatility: logos that function on any type of device, in print, on product packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball-cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are unique, and they are suitable for the company they stand for.
  5. Relevance: a business logo must be ageless and will feel relevant today, tomorrow, and thirty years from today.

Retro logo style of a bicycle developed for a San Pedro coffee cafe and a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This budding coffee roaster and coffee bar were actually opening in an older section of the town and wished to project a vintage atmosphere without appearing as monotonous or low energy. I accomplished both tasks by designing a symbol concept that features a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is antiquated, higher energy, and is a timeless business image.

clinical logo layout with a microscopic lense slide and bacteria created for San Pedro clinical center.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science which researches the triggers and effects of diseases, mainly the field of medicine which works with the clinical assessment of samplings of body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic objectives.

The Mid-Valley Pathology custom logo design I came up with is the sole instance I recollect in which I was able to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide within a business logo design.

Usually I try not to be overly literal with a concept and to a degree, this specific design approaches the company it serves very literally, however it does it in a fashion that incorporates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as a description of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the name that makes it more interesting, more attention grabbing and a lot more memorable.

logo style with a jumping environment-friendly frog created for a family fun facility in San Pedro.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a very fun project to work on, probably because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the norm of the sorts of projects that come my way, I’ve produced dozens of logo designs for physicians, dental experts, and lawyers but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park that I have ever had the opportunity to work on.

Given that the full name of the business features the word springz in its name the obvious choice would have been to include a handful of springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun location to go and spring does not really reflect an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this logo project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, in the end I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to provide the logo a more lively high energy mood.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my design and named the frog Jax and included him in to everything they used for marketing. I also think this is the only time that a logo I came up with was turned into a mascot when they had an employee costume fabricated to look exactly like my frog design.

digital photography logo including a group of birds, a hill, a route, a stream, and a tree - developed for San Pedro traveling professional photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo job I took on for a travel photographer, which is a pretty niche field of photography and I think it is a niche field because travel photographers tend not to shoot places or things but instead convey emotional experiences by means of the photos they capture. The idea behind this logo design was to utilize negative space to reveal more than what was visible upon first view, which I think is quintessential of almost all professional photographers in that they often tell whole stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey significantly more than that because their photos frequently have an emotional resonance that can’t be revealed with mere words. I attempted to do something comparable to this logo design by employing the positive space in the design to say one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in looking back, that my objective was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  San Pedro logo but also to reveal the depth of her art and in the way that she views the world through the lens of her camera.

San Pedro logo layout with a seagull utilized for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail service.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The majority of custom logo design jobs that I take on I honestly savor and the Coastal Wireless design was one that I really felt good about, but the client didn’t quite share my excitement for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull form as a stroke in the character A however the customer, even though he liked the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This particular guy seriously despised seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, thankfully the rest of his friends and family didn’t share his aversion for this specific breed of sea bird.

When I turn a concept over to a customer I encourage all of them to share it with colleagues and family as well as with folks that they don’t actually know so as to get neutral point of views on the worthiness of a design concept. Fortunately, he shared it with his family members and they adored the design and were able to persuade him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to insert every other seabird he could think of … eventually I was able to talk him out of his choice of a pelican and he proceeded with the original concept.

Logo designs are a weird animal in the design world because the people that tend to hire a professional to design their business logo recognize how essential a logo design is for their business so they are way more invested in the result. Every logo design job possesses it’s share of difficulties, however the largest obstacle is finding that sweet spot in a design that functions really well at the task it’s required to do in branding a business and also giving the client the image they see for themselves.

a red panda logo style with bamboo behind-the-scenes, design for San Pedro book author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a narrow slice of real estate to work with, however it really is the most important part of a printed book given that it is often the initial thing a person sees in the book shop. Regarding a publisher, it’s the best opportunity that they will likely ever have to publicize their product and get their logo design in front of the men and women that purchase actual books.

This 3 color design is vibrant, picturesque and eye-catching and it gives plenty of room for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design designed for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo has two letter A's with the bars changed to imply they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines come and go nevertheless it looks like that in many cases one of the things individuals often tend to recollect the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a smaller startup commuter/shuttle airline located in LA and while I’m not sure it really “took off” their organization logo didn’t ground them. The bookend A’s in their brand lent itself well to conferring a sense of flight and it was undoubtedly a winner.

San Pedro logo layout made use of for advertising and marketing as well as a tag design for Vintage Situation features an archaic typeface style.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case focused in all new cases for musical instruments, that seemed to be older cases. For this business logo concept I tried to come up with a logo that possessed a fluid old style feel to it and could be used for everything from a web page to an insignia on brand new cases that seemed like they were from another generation.

Logo created for an orthodontist in San Pedro, style consist of an arc with lines intersecting through it to suggest metal dental braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dentistry logo designs can be one of the most difficult logo jobs considering that it appears that each and every dental professional integrates a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental logo designs are one of the most cliche ridden careers when it comes to company marketing, if dining establishments approached their branding in the exact same way dental professionals do every one of their logo designs would be a picture explaining anything they served, McDonalds would most likely include an image of a potato and a cow.

I understand the thinking behind including an image of something mouth related to a dentist’s company logo but it has to be done subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental care profession.

I really enjoy doing dentist logos because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies the field of dentistry or a certain area of the field of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the stereotypical course of action that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics provided such an opportunity and ultimately I created a concept that doesn’t have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t overt, they are still implied in the concept. When I turned this particular concept over to the client the only smile that was obvious was really the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo made for a family members not-for-profit, the logo includes 4 personalities startled in elevation to stand for a family unit with in the style.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation contacted ImageCo to help them come up with a custom logo design that would be representative of the love that William McNally had for the folks in his city. The majority of logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain images of a happy family, a cliche heavy method to any logo design is to be very literal pertaining to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve found that the best designs are the ones that are understated and don’t hit the viewer on the head with what the business or organization hopes to relate.

The McNally Foundation’s name offered a distinct opportunity to do a logo that conveyed that they were about families without being overtly tacky about it. The objective of a logo is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer tries to use the logo design to describe specifically how people should think or feel they don’t understand the objective of a logo. If viewers have to ponder a logo design to understand what it means, it has fallen short, a logo needs to be immediately understood and a logo design that illustrates itself won’t have the likelihood to be understood.

Logo design created for a hair layout studio featuring a script font a hummingbird and also a suggested orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios needed a logo which related an atmosphere of contentment and elegance for their new hair salon. I came up with a design which did not go the obvious route of crafting merely a stylized orchid but rather created a logo design that suggested a flower in the formation of a swirl featured in to the letter O in the title and by placing attention on the logo design with the figure of a hummingbird hovering over the logo design itself. The obvious path in designing a logo design is oftentimes the incorrect direction and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but instead put the attention on the perception that they wanted to forecast to their patrons.

Arabian horse logo style produced for a steed ranch that focuses on breeding Arabian program equines.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

ImageCo created a distinct organization logo design fashioned to epitomize the unique physical traits of the Arabian pedigree of horses. By having a different head form and higher tail posture, the Arabian is one of the very most quite easily recognizable equine types in the world.

Las Cafe logo style a little restaurant, design contains a changed script font style which floats over a group of ornate lines and dots.

Las Cafe | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

Las Cafe logo style a small dining establishment, design consists of a changed script typeface which hovers above a group of luxuriant lines and dots.

Logo style for a software developer the style attributes as well as famous component of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the key component of an operating system (OS). Generally, the kernel is responsible for memory management, process and task management, and drive operations. The kernel connects the computer hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that operates as a connection in between the software and computer hardware.

The logo design I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a number of miles from the offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to explain anything to anyone about what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. But it intimated something to the business owner of the company and in quite a few cases the meaning supporting a logo design is equally as important as how it serves the enterprise it stands for.

Progress logo design developed for a San Pedro indoor designer, layout feature a series of red circles that intersect as well as replace the letter O in the middle of the logo layout.

Evolv Interior Design | Logo Design | Branding

logo style done for Advanced Management Solutions, the characters for letter V as well as A in middle of the word progressed have been modified to link straight into the words listed below.

Advanced Leadership Solutions | Logo Design | Website Design

A logo layout including a fisherman in the middle of the name casting a fly in the direction of the audience.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brands like Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in over 7 billion a year retailing goods and equipment to outdoor sporting enthusiasts the owners of On the Fly recognized the market place was primed for an outdoor sporting merchant that operates as a consignment business. Whether you are into boating, fishing or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a venue for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all kinds of interests, a spot to market their pre-owned items to other sports enthusiasts. I designed their San Pedro logo design dsign along with an illustration that garners the interest of traffic and sends an image that wakens the passion of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages forty five miles per hour I knew it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the picture of a fly fisherman in his natural and peaceful habitat.
Logo layout MQ ranches, this logo layout has actually an area incorporated right into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms company logo design wasn’t actually produced for an San Pedro regional farm it was in reality devised for a products broker, and this particular company logo was one of many that fell underneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The objective was to produce a graphic that projects self-assurance, success, and luxury.
Logo designed for the use of a sign for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is a luxuriant manuscript font style that is similar to a well-known sporting activities group logo.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve crafted quite a lot of restaurant business logos and business signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the USA, from cupcake bake shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a neat project where I worked directly with the proprietor to produce a business logo which worked extremely well and did a great job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the lighted signage which hung over their doors, and was highly visible and very legible from over a block away.
