Seaside Logo Design

Virtually every new Seaside business understands that they need a logo, yet few entrepreneurs entirely comprehend the vital role their logo will perform in their becoming successful, or precisely why one logo performs far better than another. A company logo has an immediate and sustaining effect on the prosperity of a company, select the correct one and it can make the door swing and cash register ring, go with the incorrect one and it can be an obstacle and an impediment for the life of a company. The logos presented in the ImageCo portfolio help Seaside companies succeed, they are effective in any given situation and the main reason they are so effective is that they all have these five features in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logos don’t demand contemplation, they can be grasped in just a glance.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to billboards a scalable logo design will stay legible and just as emotive at virtually any scale.
  3. Versatility: logos that work on any device, in print, on product packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are unique, and they are suitable for the organization they represent.
  5. Relevance: a logo should be timeless and will feel relevant today, tomorrow, and thirty years from now.

Retro logo style of a bike created for a Seaside coffee cafe as well as a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This budding coffee roaster and coffeehouse were opening up in an old section of the area and hoped to project a nostalgic tone without coming across as stodgy or low energy. I accomplished both jobs by creating a logo design that contains a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is antiquated, higher energy, and is a enduring business image.

medical logo layout with a microscope slide and germs developed for Seaside medical center.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the scientific discipline which investigates the triggers and consequences of diseases, mainly the branch of medicine which works with the laboratory evaluation of specimens of body tissue for diagnostic or forensic intents.

The Mid-Valley Pathology custom logo design I came up with is the only instance I recollect where I was able to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide right into a logo design.

Usually I try not to be extremely literal with a design and to a point, this design approaches the company it serves very literally, however it does it in a fashion that incorporates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an illustration of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancer to the brand that helps make it more appealing, more interest grabbing and much more memorable.

logo design with a leaping environment-friendly frog created for a household enjoyable facility in Seaside.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a very cool project to work on, probably because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the usual of the kinds of projects that come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for surgeons, dentists, and legal professionals but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park that I have ever had the privilege to work on.

Given that the title of the business has the word springz in its name the obvious choice would have been to integrate a few springs into the concept but Cool Springz is a fun place to go and spring does not really resonate an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, ultimately I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the name itself to give the logo a more enthusiastic high energy mood.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my design and named the frog Jax and included him in to everything they utilized for marketing. I also think this is the only time that a logo I came up with was made into a mascot when they had an employee costume fabricated to look just like my frog design.

digital photography logo featuring a group of birds, a mountain, a path, a stream, as well as a tree - developed for Seaside traveling photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a pretty niche field of photography and I believe it is a niche sector due to the fact that travel photographers tend not to capture places or things but rather project emotional journeys through the pictures they capture. The thought behind this logo design was to make use of negative space to communicate more than what was visible upon first glance, which I think is quintessential of the majority of good photographers in that they frequently share whole stories through their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words but I think that some photographs convey a lot more than that because their photos often have an emotional fullness which can’t be communicated with just words. I tried to do something the same to this logo design by employing the positive space in the design to voice one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my objective was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Seaside logo design but also to illustrate the depth of her art and in the way that she sees the world through the lens of her camera.

Seaside logo layout with a seagull utilized for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail business.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The bulk of business logo design jobs that I take on I seriously take pleasure in and the Coastal Wireless project was one that I really felt good about, however the client didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the concept of using the seagull shape as a stroke in the letter A but the customer, while he loved the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This man truly loathed seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, fortunately the rest of his family didn’t share his scorn for this particular kind of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a client I urge all of them to share it with colleagues and family as well as with other people that they don’t even know so as to get impartial assessments on the value of a design. Fortunately, he shared it with his family members and they loved the concept and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to insert every other seabird he could think of … in the end I was able to talk him out of his choice of a pelican and he proceeded with the original concept.

Logo designs are a weird animal in the design world because the people that are inclined to hire an expert to create their business logo realize how vital a logo design is for their company so they are way more invested in the end result. Every logo project possesses it’s allotment of challenges, however the greatest challenge is finding that sweet spot in a design that functions really well at the job it’s needed to do in branding a company and also providing the client the image they see for themselves.

a red panda logo design with bamboo behind-the-scenes, style for Seaside publication author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a narrow segment of real estate to work with, yet it is the most crucial part of a published book given that it is usually the initial thing a person sees in the bookstore. For a publishing company, it’s the most ideal opportunity they will ever get to publicize their brand and get their logo design in front of the men and women that purchase actual books.

This three color design is vivid, colorful and eye-catching and it gives plenty of space for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo made for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo has 2 letter A's with the bars modified to suggest they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and go yet it looks like that in many instances 1 of the traits folks often tend to recall the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a modest new venture commuter/shuttle air service based in LA and although I’m not sure it actually “took off” their organization logo didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their name lent itself well to imparting a feeling of airline flight and it was undoubtedly a success.

Seaside logo style made use of for advertising and a tag style for Vintage Instance features an old-fashioned font style layout.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in brand-new cases for music instruments, which looked to be antique cases. For this business logo concept I attempted to come up with a logo that had a fluid old-fashioned feel to it and could easily be utilized for anything from a website to an insignia on brand new cases that seemed like they were from a different point in time.

Logo developed for an orthodontist in Seaside, layout include an arc with lines intersecting through it to suggest metal braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental logo designs can easily be one of the most challenging and difficult logo jobs due to the fact that it appears that almost every dental professional incorporates a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dentistry logos are one of the very most cliche ridden careers when it comes to business advertising, if restaurants approached their advertising in the same way dentists do every one of their company logos would be a picture trying to explain something they served, McDonalds would likely include a picture of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind adding an illustration of something mouth associated to a dentist’s company logo nevertheless it has to be done subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental profession.

I really enjoy doing dental care business logos simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a certain field of the field of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd course of action that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics offered such an opportunity and subsequently I created a concept that doesn’t have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t overt, they are still implied in the design. When I turned this design over to the customer the only smile that was apparent was actually the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo developed for a family nonprofit, the logo features 4 characters surprised in elevation to represent a family unit with in the layout.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation asked ImageCo to help them come up with a logo that would be representative of the love that William McNally had for the residents in his city. Many logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain images of a happy family, a cliche heavy method to any logo design is to be overly literal pertaining to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best concepts are the ones that are understated and don’t hit the viewer on the head with what the business or organization wants to project.

The McNally Foundation’s name provided a distinct opportunity to do a custom logo design that communicated that they were about families without being openly corny about it. The aim of a logo is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer attempts to use the logo design to describe how people should think or feel they don’t understand the purpose of a logo. If viewers have to think about a logo design to understand what it means, it has fallen short, a logo needs to be instantly comprehended and a logo design that illustrates itself won’t have the opportunity to be understood.

Logo style created for a hair design workshop including a manuscript font a hummingbird as well as an implied orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios required a company logo that communicated an atmosphere of simplicity and elegance for their new hair studio. I created a concept that didn’t go the obvious path of crafting just a stylized orchid but instead crafted a company logo that suggested an orchid in the formation of a swirl integrated into the letter O in the name and by putting emphasis on the concept along with the figure of a hummingbird hovering above the image itself. The obvious path in designing a logo is frequently the wrong direction and in this case, the design ended up not being about the flower but instead laid the attention on the emotion that they wanted to forecast to their customers.

Arabian horse logo design created for a horse cattle ranch that concentrates on reproducing Arabian program equines.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

ImageCo crafted an original organization logo concept fashioned to epitomize the unique physical traits of the Arabian pedigree of horses. With an unique head form and high tail posture, the Arabian is one of the very most quite easily recognizable horse types in the whole world.

Logo style for a software developer the layout attributes as well as famous element of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the central part of an operating system (OS). Generally, the kernel is responsible for memory management, process and task management, and disk operations. The kernel attaches the computer hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that behaves as a bridge between the software program and computer hardware.

The business logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a few miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to explain anything to anyone about what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. Nevertheless it symbolized something to the owner of the business and in many cases the symbolism supporting a logo is equally as important as how it brands the enterprise it represents.

Develop logo layout created for a Seaside indoor developer, style feature a collection of red circles that intersect as well as replace the letter O in the middle of the logo layout.

Evolv Interior Design | Logo Design | Branding

A logo design featuring a fisherman in the middle of the name casting a fly towards the audience.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brands such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year selling goods and equipment to outdoor sporting lovers the founders of On the Fly understood the market was prepared for an outdoor sporting store that operates as a consignment business. Whether or not you are into boating, fishing or mountain climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly presents a place for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all kinds of passions, a spot to sell their used items to other sports enthusiasts. I tailored their Seaside logo design dsign with a graphic that grabs the interest of vehicles and projects an image that evokes the passion of the outdoors. With traffic that averages 45 miles per hour I realized it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get commuters to take notice, hence the picture of a fly fisherman in his natural and peaceful habitat.
Logo layout MQ ranches, this logo style has an area incorporated into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms business logo concept wasn’t actually created for an Seaside regional farm it was actually created for a products broker, and this company logo was one of multiple which fell beneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The objective was really to make a graphic that projects self-confidence, success, and opulence.
Logo design created for making use of a sign for the restaurant (Brewgrrs), it is a luxuriant manuscript font style that is reminiscent of a popular sporting activities group logo.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve designed dozens of restaurant custom logo designs and business signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the United States, from cupcake pastry shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I believe Brewgrrs was my favorite. Brewgrrs was a neat undertaking where I worked directly with the business owner to develop a logo which worked very well and did a fantastic job to brand them, it functioned on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the lighted sign that hung over their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
