South Yuba City Logo Design

Nearly every new South Yuba City organization understands that they need a logo, but few entrepreneurs thoroughly grasp the vital role their organization logo can play in their becoming successful, or exactly why one logo design performs far better than another. A business logo has a critical and long-term effect on the success of a business, select the right one and it will make the door swing and cash register ring, go with the incorrect one and it can be a barrier and a hindrance for the longevity of a company. The logos featured in the ImageCo portfolio help South Yuba City companies prosper, they are effective in any given situation and the main reason they are so effective is because they all have these five things in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logo designs don’t require scrutiny, they can be realized in just a glimpse.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to signboards a scalable business logo will continue to be legible and equally emotive at any dimension.
  3. Versatility: logos that work on any type of device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are exclusive, and they are suitable for the organization they stand for.
  5. Relevance: a logo should be enduring and should feel relevant today, tomorrow, and twenty five years from today.

Retro logo style of a bicycle developed for a South Yuba City coffee cafe as well as a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This budding coffee roaster and coffee bar were actually launching in an old part of the town and wanted to visualize a retro vibe without coming across as stodgy or low energy. I achieved both of these jobs by developing a sign design that features a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, high energy, and is a classic business image.

clinical logo layout with a microscopic lense slide and germs designed for South Yuba City clinical center.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the scientific discipline which examines the root causes and outcomes of diseases, especially the field of healthcare which works with the clinical evaluation of specimens of body tissue for diagnostic or forensic purposes.

The Mid-Valley Pathology custom logo design I came up with is the sole instance I recollect in which I was in a position to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide within a logo design.

Usually I attempt not to be extremely literal with a design and to a point, this specific design approaches the company it serves quite literally, yet it does it in a fashion that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an illustration of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the name that makes it more captivating, more attention grabbing and a lot more unforgettable.

logo layout with a jumping green frog made for a family fun center in South Yuba City.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a very cool project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s additionally a project that is way out of the usual of the kinds of jobs which come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for physicians, dental practices, and legal professionals but Cool Springz is without question the one and only trampoline park which I have ever had the opportunity to work on.

Given that the name of the company has the word springz in its name the apparent choice would have been to include a some springs into the concept but Cool Springz is a fun place to go and spring doesn’t actually reflect an atmosphere of fun does it. My thought process on this project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, in the end I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to give the logo a more lively high energy mood.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my concept and named the frog Jax and integrated him in to everything they used for advertising. I also think this is the only time that a logo I designed was made into a mascot when they had an employee costume fabricated to look exactly like my frog design.

photography logo design featuring a group of birds, a hill, a path, a stream, and also a tree - made for South Yuba City traveling photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a rather specialized field of photography and I think it is a niche sector due to the fact that travel photographers tend not to capture locations or things but instead convey emotional journeys by means of the pictures they capture. The idea behind this logo design was to utilize negative space to communicate more than what was visible upon first view, which I think is quintessential of most good photographers in that they frequently convey whole stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey a great deal more than that because their photos often have an emotional fullness that can’t be conveyed with just words. I made an effort to do something similar to this logo by employing the positive space in the design to say one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was communicated through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my objective was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  South Yuba City logo design but also to illustrate the depth in her work and in the way that she sees the world through the lens of her camera.

South Yuba City logo style with a seagull used for the letter A. Designed for a cordless retail company.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The lion’s share of custom logo design projects that I take on I seriously enjoy and the Coastal Wireless assignment was one that I certainly felt good about, but the customer didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull shape as a stroke in the character A but my client, while he liked the concept, really did not care for my choice of birds. This particular man really disliked seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, thankfully the rest of his friends and family did not share his scorn for this particular breed of sea bird.

When I turn a concept over to a client I encourage them to share it with friends and family members as well as with folks that they don’t even know so as to get neutral judgements on the worthiness of a design concept. Fortunately, he talked about it with his family members and they loved the design and were able to persuade him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to include every other seabird he could think of … ultimately I was able to talk him out of his alternative of a pelican and he went with the original design.

Custom logo designs are a weird creature in the design world because the people that tend to hire a professional to create their business logo realize how crucial a logo is for their organization so they are much more invested in the final result. Every logo design project possesses it’s allotment of challenges, however the most significant obstacle is finding that sweet spot in a design that functions really well at the task it’s needed to do in branding a business and also providing the client the image they see for themselves.

a red panda logo style with bamboo behind-the-scenes, layout for South Yuba City book author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a narrow segment of real estate to work with, but it really is the most essential part of a published book due to the fact that it is in most cases the first thing a person sees in the book store. With regard to a publishing company, it’s the opportunity that they will likely ever have to promote their brand and get their logo design in front of the individuals that buy actual books.

This 3 color design is vivid, colorful and eye-catching and it leaves plenty of space for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design designed for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo has two letter A's with benches customized to suggest they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines come and depart but it seems that in many occurrences 1 of the aspects folks often tend to recollect the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a small startup commuter/shuttle air service located in LA and while I’m not certain it really “took off” their business logo didn’t ground them. The bookend A’s in their brand lent itself well to imparting a spirit of airline flight and it was undoubtedly a success.

South Yuba City logo design used for marketing as well as a tag layout for Vintage Situation includes an old-fashioned font style.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case focused in new cases for music instruments, which looked to be vintage cases. For this business logo concept I attempted to come up with a logo that provided a fluid retro feel to it and could be utilized for anything from a web page to an insignia on brand new cases that appeared like they were from another point in time.

Logo developed for an orthodontist in South Yuba City, design include an arc with lines intersecting with it to indicate steel dental braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dentistry logos can easily be one of the most challenging logo jobs because it seems that each and every dental professional involves a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dentistry business logos are one of the most cliche ridden fields when it comes to business marketing, if restaurants approached their branding in the exact same way dental practitioners do every one of their logos would be a picture explaining something they served, McDonalds would probably have a picture of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind including a likeness of something mouth related to a dentist’s logo design but it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dental professionals logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental care profession.

I really love doing dental care logos because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a particular area of dental treatment like orthodontics without resorting to the stereotypical approach that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics delivered such an opportunity and inevitably I created a concept that doesn’t have a single smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t overt, they are still suggested in the concept. When I turned this design over to the customer the only smile that was apparent was really the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo design developed for a household nonprofit, the logo design features 4 personalities startled in elevation to stand for a family unit with in the style.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation asked ImageCo to help them come up with a custom logo design that would be illustrative of the devotion that William McNally had for the people residing in his city. The majority of logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain depictions of a happy family, a cliche heavy strategy to any logo design is to be very literal about what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve found that the best designs are the ones that are understated and don’t hit the viewer on the head with what the business or institution hopes to relate.

The McNally Foundation’s name presented a distinct opportunity to do a custom logo design which conveyed that they were about families without being overtly tacky about it. The aim of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer makes an effort to use the logo to explain specifically how individuals ought to think or feel they don’t understand the objective of a logo. If you have to think about a logo design to understand what it means, it has fallen short, a logo needs to be instantly understood and a logo design that illustrates itself won’t have the chance to be comprehended.

Logo layout developed for a hair style studio featuring a manuscript font a hummingbird and a suggested orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios needed a business logo that carried a spirit of tranquility and class for their new hair studio. I created a concept which did not go the obvious course of creating just a stylized orchid but alternatively designed a logo design that implied an orchid in the pattern of a swirl featured in to the letter O in the title and by putting emphasis on the concept along with the figure of a hummingbird floating over the image itself. The obvious path in designing a business logo is generally the incorrect course and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but alternately placed the main focus on the perception that they wanted to forecast to their customers.

Arabian horse logo design developed for a steed cattle ranch that focuses on breeding Arabian show steeds.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

ImageCo designed a one-of-a-kind organization logo design fashioned to exemplify the unique physical traits of the Arabian kind of horses. With an identifiable head form and higher tail posture, the Arabian is one of the most quite easily recognizable horse types in the entire world.

Logo layout for a software program programmer the style functions and also renowned element of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the central part of an operating system (OS). Traditionally, the kernel is responsible for memory management, process and task management, and hard drive management. The kernel unites the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that serves as a bridge between the software program and computer hardware.

The logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is located a couple of miles from the offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to spell out anything to anyone with regards to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. Nevertheless it symbolized something to the owner of the business and in quite a few cases the substance behind a logo is equally as important as how it serves the business it stands for.

A logo layout featuring a fisherman in the middle of the name casting a fly in the direction of the viewer.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brands like Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year selling supplies and equipment to outdoor sporting lovers the founders of On the Fly understood the market was ready for an outdoor sporting store that operates as a consignment firm. Whether or not you are into boating, fishing or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly presents a location for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all sorts of passions, a place to sell off their pre-owned products to other sports enthusiasts. I created their South Yuba City business logo dsign with an illustration that garners the interest of vehicles and projects an image that calls to mind the passion of the outdoors. With traffic that averages forty five mph I realized it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get commuters to take notice, hence the graphic of a fly fisherman in his natural and serene habitat.
Logo layout MQ farms, this logo style has actually a field included right into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms company logo idea wasn’t really produced for an South Yuba City area farm it was in reality designed for an investments broker, and this particular trademark was one of a handful of that fell underneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The end goal was actually to create an identity that projected confidence, financial success, and prosperity.
Logo design made for the use of an indication for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is an ornate script font that is similar to a renowned sporting activities team logo.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve designed dozens of restaurant custom logo designs and business signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the USA, from cupcake pastry shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a neat undertaking where I worked closely with the business owner to produce a business logo which worked extremely well and did a great job to brand them, it functioned on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the neon sign which hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
