Stevenson Ranch Logo Design

Each and every new Stevenson Ranch venture knows they require a logo, however few entrepreneurs thoroughly comprehend the essential role their logo design can play in their financial success, or the reason that one logo works better than another. A logo design has an instant and sustaining impact on the prosperity of a company, pick the right one and it will make the door swing and cash register ring, choose the wrong one and it can be a barrier and an impediment for the life of a business. The logos included in the ImageCo portfolio help Stevenson Ranch companies succeed, they are effective in any given situation and the reason they are so effective is because they all have these five things in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logo designs do not require contemplation, they can be grasped in merely a look.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to billboards a scalable logo design will stay legible and just as emotive at any size.
  3. Versatility: logos that operate on any device, in print, on product packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are unique, and they are suitable for the enterprise they represent.
  5. Relevance: a business logo must be enduring and will feel relevant today, tomorrow, and twenty years from today.

Retro logo design of a bike developed for a Stevenson Ranch coffee cafe as well as a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This fledgling coffee roaster and coffeehouse were actually opening in an older part of the area and hoped to cast an old-fashioned feel without appearing as boring or low energy. I achieved the two jobs by means of creating a business logo concept that incorporates a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is antiquated, high energy, and is a enduring business image.

clinical logo design with a microscopic lense slide and also bacteria designed for Stevenson Ranch medical center.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science that researches the triggers and consequences of diseases, mainly the branch of medicine which works with the clinical examination of samples of body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic reasons.

The Mid-Valley Pathology custom logo design I came up with is really the only instance I call to mind where I was in a position to integrate a bacteria-laden microscope slide right into a logo design.

Generally I attempt not to be overly literal with a design and to a degree, this specific design approaches the company it serves fairly literally, but it does it in a fashion that incorporates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an illustration of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancer to the name that helps make it more appealing, more interest grabbing and even more meaningful.

logo design with a jumping green frog designed for a family fun center in Stevenson Ranch.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really cool project to work on, probably because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the norm of the types of jobs which come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for medical professionals, dental experts, and legal professionals but Cool Springz is without question the one and only trampoline park that I have actually ever had the opportunity to work on.

Given that the title of the business features the word springz in its name the clear choice would have been to feature a couple springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun location to go and spring doesn’t really resonate an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, in the end I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the name itself to give the logo a much more dynamic high energy feeling.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my brainchild and named the frog Jax and included him in to everything they utilized for promotion and marketing. I also believe this is the only time that a logo I created was transformed into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fabricated to look exactly like my frog design.

digital photography logo featuring a flock of birds, a hill, a route, a stream, and also a tree - developed for Stevenson Ranch traveling professional photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a custom logo design job I took on for a travel photographer, which is a rather specialized field of photography and I think it is a niche profession because travel photographers tend not to shoot places or things but rather convey emotional journeys by means of the pictures they capture. The idea behind this logo composition was to make use of negative space to convey more than what was visible upon initial view, which I think is representative of the majority of good photographers in that they often convey entire stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words but I think that some photographs convey much more than that because their photos frequently have an emotional resonance which can’t be conveyed with just words. I tried to do something the same to this logo design by using the positive space in the design to suggest one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was communicated through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my objective was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Stevenson Ranch logo but also to show the depth to her work and in the way that she sees the world through the lens of her camera.

Stevenson Ranch logo layout with a seagull utilized for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail organisation.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The majority of business logo design projects that I take on I honestly savor and the Coastal Wireless assignment was one that I certainly felt good about, however the customer didn’t quite share my excitement for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull silhouette as a stroke in the character A but the client, even though he loved the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This particular man seriously despised seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, fortunately the rest of his friends and family did not share his contempt for this particular kind of sea bird.

When I turn a concept over to a customer I encourage all of them to share it with friends and colleagues and family members as well as with folks that they don’t actually know so as to get neutral viewpoints on the worthiness of a concept. Fortunately, he discussed it with his family and they really loved the design and were able to persuade him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to incorporate every other seabird he could think of … ultimately I was able to talk him out of his preference of a pelican and he proceeded with the original concept.

Business logos are a strange animal in the design world given that the people that are inclined to hire a professional to create their logo understand how essential a logo design is for their company so they are much more invested in the result. Every logo design job possesses it’s portion of challenges, however the largest obstacle is identifying that sweet spot in a design that works really well at the job it’s needed to do in branding a company and also giving the client the image they see for themselves.

a red panda logo design with bamboo behind-the-scenes, layout for Stevenson Ranch publication publisher

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a slender piece of real estate to work with, yet it is the most necessary part of a published book due to the fact that it is in most cases the initial thing a person views in the book shop. With respect to a publisher, it’s the opportunity they will ever get to promote their label and get their logo design in front of the people that shop for actual books.

This 3 color design is vivid, picturesque and eye-catching and it leaves plenty of territory for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design created for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo design has 2 letter A's with the bars customized to indicate they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines come and go yet it looks like that in many occurrences one of the items folks tend to recall the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a smaller fledgling commuter/shuttle air service situated in LA and although I’m not sure it actually “took off” their logo design didn’t ground them. The bookend A’s in their brand lent itself well to imparting a feeling of flight and it was certainly a winner.

Stevenson Ranch logo layout used for marketing and also a label style for Vintage Situation features an archaic font style style.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in brand new cases for musical instruments, that looked to be antique cases. For this logo design I tried to come up with a logo that offered a fluid retro feel to it and could easily be utilized for everything from a website to a label on brand new cases that seemed like they were from another era.

Logo produced for an orthodontist in Stevenson Ranch, layout consist of an arc with lines intersecting via it to indicate steel braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dentistry business logos can easily be one of the most challenging logo jobs due to the fact that it seems that every single dental professional integrates a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental business logos are one of the most cliche ridden professions when it comes to company advertising, if dining establishments approached their branding in the very same way dental professionals do every one of their logos would be a picture trying to explain anything they served, McDonalds would likely have an image of a potato and a cow.

I understand the thinking behind adding an illustration of something mouth associated to a dentist’s logo but it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dentistry profession.

I actually love doing dental logos because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a particular field of dental treatment like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd course of action that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics offered such an opportunity and ultimately I created a layout that doesn’t have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still implied in the concept. When I turned this particular design over to the customer the only smile that was apparent was the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo design made for a household nonprofit, the logo includes 4 characters staggered in height to stand for a family unit with in the style.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation contacted ImageCo to help them come up with a logo that would be depictive of the love that William McNally had for the people residing in his city. Most logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain portrayals of a happy family, a cliche heavy strategy to any logo design is to be overly literal pertaining to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best designs are the ones that are understated and don’t hit the viewer on the head with what the company or institution wants to relate.

The McNally Foundation’s name presented a distinct opportunity to do a logo that communicated that they were about families without being openly corny about it. The aim of a logo is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer tries to use the logo to illustrate how individuals should think or feel they don’t understand the mission of a logo. If you have to think about a logo to understand what it means, it has fallen short, a logo needs to be instantly comprehended and a logo design that explains itself will never have the likelihood to be understood.

Logo layout created for a hair design studio featuring a manuscript font a hummingbird as well as a suggested orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios desired a logo design that communicated a feeling of calmness and class for their new hair salon. I came up with a concept which didn’t go the obvious course of crafting simply a stylized orchid but rather delivered a logo that suggested a flower in the pattern of a swirl featured in to the letter O in the name and by placing attention on the logo design along with the silhouette of a hummingbird hovering over the image itself. The obvious path in creating a logo is generally the wrong route and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but alternately put the focus on the perception that they wanted to project to their customers.

Arabian horse logo layout developed for an equine ranch that concentrates on breeding Arabian show equines.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

Logo style for a software program programmer the style attributes and also iconic element of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the central component of an operating system (OS). Typically, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task control, and hard drive operations. The kernel attaches the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that serves as a bridge in between the software program and hardware.

The business logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a few miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to explain anything to anyone regarding to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However it represented something to the owner of the business and in many cases the meaning supporting a logo is equally as important as how it brands the enterprise it represents.

Progress logo layout produced for a Stevenson Ranch indoor designer, design feature a series of red circles that intersect and replace the letter O in the middle of the logo design.

Evolv Interior Design | Logo Design | Branding

Advanced Leadership Solutions | Logo Design | Website Design

A logo design including a fisherman in the middle of the name casting a fly towards the visitor.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brands such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in over 7 billion a year selling supplies and equipment to outdoor sporting fans the owners of On the Fly understood the market was primed for an outdoor sporting merchant that operates as a consignment company. Whether you are into boating, fishing or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly presents a destination for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all types of passions, a location to sell their previously owned products to other sports enthusiasts. I created their Stevenson Ranch logo dsign with a graphic that captures the attention of traffic and projects an image that evokes the enthusiasm of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages 45 miles per hour I knew it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the picture of a fly fisherman in his natural and calm habitat.
Logo layout MQ farms, this logo style has actually an area incorporated right into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms logo concept wasn’t actually produced for an Stevenson Ranch area farm it was actually created for a products broker, and this particular creative logo was one of a handful of which fell beneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The aim was actually to make a brand mark that projects esteem, success, and prosperity.
Logo made for making use of a sign for the restaurant (Brewgrrs), it is a luxuriant script font style that is evocative a popular sports team logo design.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I have designed loads of restaurant logo designs and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the United States, from cupcake pastry shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my favorite. Brewgrrs was a neat undertaking in which I worked closely with the owner to develop a logo which worked extremely well and did a great job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the neon sign that hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very legible from over a block away.
