Victorville, California Logo Design

Virtually every new Victorville business knows they need a logo, but few entrepreneurs thoroughly recognize the pivotal role their logo design will perform in their success, or precisely why one logo works far better than another. A logo has an instant and sustaining impact on the prosperity of a business, pick the right one and it will make the door swing and phone ring, select the incorrect one and it will be a barrier and a hindrance for the life of a business.

The logos featured in the ImageCo portfolio help Victorville, California businesses succeed, they are effective in any given scenario and the reason they are so effective is that they all have these 5 features in common.

  1. Simplicity: simple logos do not demand deliberation, they can be comprehended in merely a glimpse.
  2. Scalability: from labels to signboards a scalable logo will be legible and just as emotive at any size.
  3. Versatility: logos that operate on any device, in print, on product packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball-cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are exclusive, and they are suitable for the business they stand for.
  5. Relevance: a logo should be enduring and will feel as relevant today, tomorrow, and twenty years from today.
Retro logo design of a bicycle created for a Victorville, California coffee cafe as well as a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This start-up coffee roaster and bistro were opening up in an old section of the town and really wanted to visualize a retro vibe without appearing as boring or low energy. I fulfilled both of these tasks by means of creating a symbol design that incorporates a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, high energy, and is a classic business image.

clinical logo layout with a microscope slide and germs created for Victorville, California clinical center.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science that analyzes the root causes and consequences of diseases, especially the branch of healthcare that deals with the laboratory assessment of samples of human body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic reasons.

The Mid-Valley Pathology brand I came up with is really the sole instance I recollect in which I was able to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide within a business logo design.

Usually I try not to be excessively literal with a design and to a point, this design approaches the company it represents quite literally, however it does it in a fashion that incorporates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an illustration of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the brand that helps make it more intriguing, more interest grabbing and more unforgettable.

logo layout with a jumping green frog designed for a family members fun center in Victorville, California.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really cool project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the norm of the kinds of projects which come my way, I’ve produced dozens of logo designs for medical professionals, dental professionals, and legal professionals but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park which I have ever gotten the opportunity to work on.

Given that the name of the business features the word springz in its name the apparent choice would have been to integrate a handful of springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun place to go and spring does not really resonate an atmosphere of fun does it. My thought process on this logo project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, eventually I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to provide the logo a more dynamic high energy atmosphere.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my concept and named the frog Jax and integrated him in to everything they utilized for promotion and marketing. I also believe this is the only time that a logo I created was transformed into a mascot when they had an employee costume fabricated to look just like my frog design.

digital photography logo including a flock of birds, a mountain, a path, a stream, as well as a tree - developed for Victorville, California traveling digital photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a custom logo design project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a rather specialized field of photography and I believe it is a niche field because travel photographers tend not to capture locations or things but rather reveal emotional journeys through the photos they record. The thought behind this logo composition was to utilize negative space to reveal more than what was visible upon initial glance, which I think is representative of almost all good photographers in that they frequently convey entire stories through their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey significantly more than that because their photos frequently have an emotional fullness that can’t be communicated with mere words. I made an effort to do something the same to this logo by making use of the positive space in the design to say one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Victorville logo design but also to show the depth in her art and in the way that she perceives the world through the lens of her camera.

Victorville logo design with a seagull made use of for the letter A. Designed for a cordless retail organisation.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The majority of business logo design projects that I take on I genuinely take pleasure in and the Coastal Wireless project was one that I certainly felt good about, but the client didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull silhouette as a stroke in the character A however my customer, even though he loved the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This man genuinely loathed seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, thankfully the rest of his friends and family did not share his hatred for this particular type of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a client I urge them to talk about it with friends and colleagues and family as well as with people that they don’t even know so as to get neutral opinions on the worthiness of a concept. Fortunately, he shared it with his family members and they really liked the design and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to incorporate every other seabird he could think of … in the end I was able to talk him out of his alternative of a pelican and he went with the original concept.

Logo designs are a weird animal in the design world because the people that have a tendency to hire an expert to create their business logo recognize how crucial a logo is for their business so they are much more vested in the final result. Every logo design project has it’s portion of difficulties, but the largest challenge is identifying that sweet spot in a design that works really well at the job it’s needed to do in branding a business and also providing the client the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo layout with bamboo in the background, layout for Victorville, California publication publisher

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a cramped segment of real estate to work with, but it really is the most critical part of a printed book because it is ordinarily the very first thing a person views in the book shop. For a publisher, it’s the best opportunity that they will likely ever get to publicize their brand and get their logo design in front of the people that purchase actual books.

This three color design is vivid, picturesque and eye-catching and it gives plenty of space for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design made for an airline company in Los Angeles, the logo has 2 letter A's with the bars customized to imply they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and go but it seems like that in many occurrences one of the things consumers usually tend to remember the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a small start-up commuter/shuttle airline located in LA and although I’m not certain it really “took off” their logo design didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their name lent itself well to imparting a feeling of airline flight and it was undoubtedly a victory.

Victorville logo style used for marketing as well as a label style for Vintage Instance features an archaic typeface style.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in new cases for music instruments, that appeared to be older cases. For this brand concept I attempted to come up with a logo that possessed a fluid retro feel to it and could easily be used for every thing from a web site to a label on brand new cases that appeared like they were from another point in time.

Logo design developed for an orthodontist in Victorville, California, style consist of an arc with lines converging through it to imply steel braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental care logo designs can be one of the most challenging and difficult logo projects considering that it seems that virtually every dentist involves a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental logo designs are one of the very most cliche ridden careers when it comes to business marketing, if dining establishments approached their branding in the very same way dental practitioners do every one of their company logos would be a picture trying to explain anything they served, McDonalds would probably include a picture of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind incorporating an image of something mouth related to a dentist’s logo nevertheless it has to be done subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dentistry industry.

I really love doing dental logos because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies the field of dentistry or a specific field of the field of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the stereotypical course of action that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics delivered such an opportunity and ultimately I created a layout that doesn’t have a single smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still suggested in the concept. When I turned this particular design over to the customer the only smile that was obvious was really the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo created for a family nonprofit, the logo features 4 personalities startled in height to stand for a family with in the design.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation reached out to ImageCo to help them come up with a custom logo design that would be representative of the devotion that William McNally had for the families in his city. Many logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain pictures of a happy family, a cliche heavy technique to any logo design is to be very literal with regards to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve found that the best designs are the ones that are downplayed and never hit the viewer on the head with what the business or organization wishes to relate.

The McNally Foundation’s name offered a unique opportunity to do a logo that conveyed that they were about families without being overtly tacky about it. The objective of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer tries to use the logo to summarize specifically how individuals should think or feel they don’t understand the mission of a logo. If viewers have to consider a logo to understand what it means, it has fallen short, a logo needs to be instantly comprehended and a logo that describes itself will never have the opportunity to be understood.

Logo layout developed for a hair layout studio featuring a manuscript font a hummingbird and an implied orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios wanted a company logo that conveyed an atmosphere of serenity and elegance for their new hair studio. I came up with a design that didn’t go the obvious route of creating simply a stylized orchid but alternatively crafted a logo design which implied a flower in the formation of a swirl blended into the letter O in the title and by placing attention on the logo design using the silhouette of a hummingbird hovering above the image itself. The obvious path in designing a logo is frequently the incorrect direction and in this case, the design ended up not being about the flower but alternately placed the importance on the feeling that they really wanted to transmit to their patrons.

Logo design for a software designer the design functions and iconic component of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the principal part of an operating system (OS). Generally, the kernel is responsible for memory management, process and task management, and disk operations. The kernel connects the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that behaves as a bridge in between the software and hardware.

The business logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is located a number of miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to identify anything to anyone regarding what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. Nevertheless it symbolized something to the owner of the company and in quite a few cases the substance supporting a logo design is equally as important as how it brands the enterprise it stands for.

A logo layout including a fisherman in the center of the name casting a fly towards the visitor.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brand names such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in over 7 billion a year selling supplies and equipment to outdoor sporting lovers the owners of On the Fly understood the market was prepared for an outdoor sporting store that functions as a consignment firm. Whether you are into boating, fishing or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly presents a location for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all sorts of passions, a place to sell their pre-owned items to other sports enthusiasts. I tailored their Victorville business logo dsign utilizing an illustration which garners the interest of vehicles and projects an image that invokes the enthusiasm of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages 45 miles per hour I knew it would take more than the average logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the image of a fly fisherman in his natural and calm habitat.
Logo layout MQ farms, this logo layout has an area integrated right into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms emblem concept wasn’t really produced for an Victorville, California area farm it was really designed for an investments broker, and this creative logo was one of several that fell underneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The objective was really to make a brand mark that projected self-assurance, effectiveness, and prosperity.

Victorville Logo design for a not-for-profit, Turning Point Solutions - the logo design function for externally facing arrowhead and the arrowheads indicate that it is a ruby form.

Turning Point Foundation | Logo Design

The Turning Point Foundation was completely open to what kind of logo design they preferred, that can be a good thing or a bad thing. Good in that it offers a designer the opportunity to explore any idea that comes to mind, bad in that it’s challenging to hit a bullseye in the absence of understanding where the target is. Fortunately, in this particular case, I nailed a bullseye with the 1st go.

Logo created for making use of an indicator for the restaurant (Brewgrrs), it is a luxuriant script typeface that is reminiscent of a renowned sporting activities team logo design.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve created loads of restaurant logos and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments, and eateries all over the USA, from cupcake bake shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I believe Brewgrrs was my favorite. Brewgrrs was a neat undertaking where I worked closely with the proprietor to design a logo that worked really well and did a fantastic job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the illuminated signage that hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
