Wasco Logo Design

Each and every new Wasco organization realizes that they require a logo, but few entrepreneurs entirely comprehend the essential role their company logo can perform in their financial success, or why one logo design performs better than another. A logo has an instant and sustaining effect on the success of a company, go with the right one and it will make the door swing and phone ring, go with the incorrect one and it can be a barrier and an impediment for the life span of a company. The logos presented in the ImageCo portfolio help Wasco businesses prosper, they are effective in any given scenario and the reason why they are so effective is because they all have these 5 traits in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logo designs don’t demand deliberation, they can be comprehended in merely a glimpse.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to posters a scalable logo will stay legible and just as emotive at every size.
  3. Versatility: logos that work on any sort of device, in print, on product packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball-cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are exclusive, and they are suitable for the enterprise they represent.
  5. Relevance: a logo design needs to be ageless and should feel relevant today, tomorrow, and twenty years from now.

Retro logo layout of a bicycle produced for a Wasco coffee cafe as well as a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This fledgling coffee roaster and coffee bar were actually opening in an older part of the town and wanted to cast a vintage tone without appearing as boring or low energy. I fulfilled each of the tasks by developing a trademark design that contains a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, high energy, and is a ageless business image.

clinical logo design with a microscope slide as well as germs designed for Wasco clinical clinic.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the scientific discipline that analyzes the root causes and effects of diseases, mainly the field of healthcare that deals with the clinical examination of specimens of body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic reasons.

The Mid-Valley Pathology custom logo design I came up with is really the only instance I recollect in which I was able to integrate a bacteria-laden microscope slide into a logo design.

Typically I attempt not to be extremely literal with a design and to a point, this design approaches the company it represents very literally, however it does it in a fashion that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an illustration of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancer to the brand that makes it more intriguing, more interest grabbing and even more memorable.

logo layout with a leaping green frog made for a family fun center in Wasco.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a very fun project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s additionally a project that is way out of the norm of the sorts of jobs that come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for doctors, dentists, and attorneys but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park that I have ever gotten the privilege to work on.

Given that the full name of the business has the word springz in its name the apparent choice would have been to include a few springs into the concept but Cool Springz is a fun location to go and spring doesn’t really reflect an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this logo project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, eventually I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to give the logo a much more lively high energy feel.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my design and named the frog Jax and integrated him in to everything they used for marketing and advertising. I also think this is the only time that a logo I did was transformed into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fashioned to look just like my frog design.

digital photography logo design including a group of birds, a mountain, a path, a stream, and a tree - created for Wasco traveling photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a fairly niche field of photography and I think it is a niche profession because travel photographers don’t shoot locations or things but instead reveal emotional experiences by means of the images they record. The thought behind this logo composition was to use negative space to reveal more than what was visible upon initial glance, which I think is representative of most good photographers in that they often convey entire stories through their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey significantly more than that because their photos frequently have an emotional fullness which can’t be conveyed with just words. I made an effort to do something very similar to this logo design by making use of the positive space in the design to suggest one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Wasco logo but also to reveal the depth of her work and in the way that she sees the world through the lens of her camera.

Wasco logo design with a seagull used for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail business.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The lion’s share of logo design projects that I take on I really savor and the Coastal Wireless design was one that I really felt good about, however the customer didn’t quite share my excitement for it. I felt really good about the concept of using the seagull form as a stroke in the letter A but my customer, even though he loved the concept, really did not care for my choice of birds. This guy genuinely despised seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, thankfully the rest of his family did not share his hatred for this specific variety of sea bird.

When I turn a concept over to a client I urge all of them to talk about it with friends and family as well as with other people that they don’t actually know so as to get honest viewpoints on the value of a concept. Fortunately, he shared it with his whole family and they really loved the concept and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to incorporate every other seabird he could think of … eventually I was able to talk him out of his alternative of a pelican and he proceeded with the original concept.

Business logos are a strange animal in the design world given that the people that are inclined to hire a professional to create their logo design realize how vital a logo is for their company so they are much more vested in the outcome. Every logo project has it’s share of challenges, but the most significant challenge is finding that sweet spot in a design that operates really well at the task it’s needed to do in branding a business and also providing the client the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo layout with bamboo behind-the-scenes, layout for Wasco publication author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a narrow parcel of real estate to work with, yet it really is the most crucial part of a published book since it is usually the primary thing a person views in the book store. Concerning a publisher, it’s the most ideal opportunity that they will likely ever get to advertise their product and get their logo design in front of the men and women that purchase actual books.

This three color design is vivid, picturesque and eye-catching and it leaves plenty of space for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo designed for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo design has 2 letter A's with benches modified to suggest they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines come and go yet it looks like that in many occurrences 1 of the traits folks often tend to remember the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a modest fledgling commuter/shuttle airline based in LA and although I’m not certain it actually “took off” their logo didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their brand lent itself well to conferring a feeling of air travel and it was surely a winner.

Wasco logo style used for advertising and a label layout for Vintage Case features an old-fashioned font style design.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in brand-new cases for musical instruments, that looked to be older cases. For this business logo design I strove to come up with a logo that provided a fluid retro feel to it and could be utilized for every thing from a web site to an insignia on brand new cases that seemed like they were from another generation.

Logo design developed for an orthodontist in Wasco, layout include an arc with lines converging with it to indicate metal dental braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental logos can be one of the most challenging logo design projects due to the fact that it seems that almost every dentist includes a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental logos are one of the very most cliche ridden fields when it comes to small business branding, if restaurants approached their advertising in the same way dental practitioners do every one of their logo designs would be a picture explaining anything they served, McDonalds would likely contain a picture of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind incorporating an illustration of something mouth related to a dentist’s company logo but it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental profession.

I actually love doing dental logo designs because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies the field of dentistry or a specific area of the field of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the stereotypical approach that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics offered such an opportunity and subsequently I created a layout that does not have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still suggested in the concept. When I turned this particular concept over to the customer the only smile that was evident was actually the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo design made for a family not-for-profit, the logo design includes 4 personalities surprised in height to represent a family unit with in the design.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation asked ImageCo to help them come up with a logo design that would be depictive of the love that William McNally had for the people in his city. Many logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain pictures of a happy family, a cliche heavy strategy to any logo design is to be far too literal with regards to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best concepts are the ones that are downplayed and don’t hit the viewer on the head with what the company or institution wishes to communicate.

The McNally Foundation’s name offered a unique opportunity to do a logo which communicated that they were about families without being openly tacky about it. The objective of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer makes an effort to use the logo design to summarize specifically how individuals ought to think or feel they don’t understand the mission of a logo. If people have to think about a logo to understand what it means, it has fallen short, a logo needs to be instantly comprehended and a logo design that describes itself won’t have the likelihood to be comprehended.

Logo design created for a hair layout studio including a manuscript font a hummingbird as well as a suggested orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios wanted a logo which carried an atmosphere of serenity and elegance for their new hair salon. I came up with a design which didn’t go the obvious route of creating simply a stylized orchid but instead crafted a company logo that implied a flower in the formation of a swirl integrated into the letter O in the name and by placing attention on the concept with the silhouette of a hummingbird hovering above the logo design itself. The obvious path in creating a business logo is frequently the incorrect course and in this case, the design ended up not being about the flower but instead placed the focus on the emotion that they wanted to forecast to their patrons.

Arabian equine logo layout produced for a steed cattle ranch that concentrates on reproducing Arabian program equines.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

ImageCo created a distinct logotype design tailored to exemplify the unique physical traits of the Arabian breed of horses. With a different head form and very high tail carriage, the Arabian is one of the very most immediately recognizable horse breeds in the whole world.

Las Cafe | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

Las Coffee shop logo layout a tiny restaurant, design consists of a modified manuscript typeface which floats over a team of luxuriant lines as well as dots.

Logo style for a software developer the style attributes as well as legendary component of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the central part of an operating system (OS). Traditionally, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task management, and hard drive management. The kernel connects the computer hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that performs as a connection in between the software program and computer hardware.

The logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a number of miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to identify anything to anyone regarding to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. Nevertheless it symbolized something to the business owner of the company and in many cases the meaning behind a logo design is equally as important as how it brands the organization it represents.

Advance logo design developed for a Wasco indoor developer, layout function a series of red circles that converge as well as replace the letter O in the center of the logo style.

Evolv Interior Design | Logo Design | Branding

logo style provided for Advanced Leadership Solutions, the personalities for letter V as well as A in middle of the word advanced have been customized to tie directly into the words below.

Advanced Leadership Solutions | Logo Design | Website Design

This particular Wasco logo design job was completed for a leadership coach that helps business leaders to develop into more efficient at managing people, expectations, and profitability.

A logo design featuring a fisherman in the middle of the name casting a fly towards the visitor.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brands such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year retailing goods and equipment to outdoor sporting fans the owners of On the Fly realized the market place was primed for an outdoor sporting merchant that operates as a consignment firm. Whether or not you are into boating, angling or mountain climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a place for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all kinds of interests, a spot to market their pre-owned products to other sports enthusiasts. I created their Wasco business logo dsign using a graphic which seizes the interest of vehicles and projects an image that invokes the passion of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages 45 mph I realized it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get commuters to take notice, hence the image of a fly fisherman in his natural and tranquil habitat.
Logo design MQ farms, this logo layout has an area incorporated right into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms brand design wasn’t actually designed for an Wasco regional farm it was actually created for a products broker, and this logo design was one of a handful of which fell underneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The aim was to create a graphic that projected self-confidence, effectiveness, and prosperity.
Logo design developed for making use of a sign for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is a luxuriant manuscript typeface that is evocative a famous sports group logo.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I have designed quite a lot of restaurant logos and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the US, from cupcake bakeshops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I believe Brewgrrs was my favorite. Brewgrrs was a great project in which I worked closely with the business owner to design a logo design that worked very well and did a fantastic job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the illuminated sign which hung over their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
