Yucca Valley Logo Design

Virtually every new Yucca Valley organization realizes that they require a logo, but few new business owners fully realize the vital role their business logo will perform in their success, or precisely why one business logo performs far better than another. A logo has a critical and lasting influence on the financial success of a business, select the correct one and it will make the door swing and cash register ring, go with the incorrect one and it can be a barrier and an impediment for the longevity of an organization. The logos presented in the ImageCo portfolio help Yucca Valley companies prosper, they are effective in any given scenario and the reason they are so effective is because they all have these 5 things in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logos do not demand contemplation, they can be understood in just a glance.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to signboards a scalable logo will stay legible and equally emotive at any scale.
  3. Versatility: logos that function on any sort of device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball-cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are unique, and they are suitable for the organization they stand for.
  5. Relevance: a company logo needs to be lasting and should feel relevant today, tomorrow, and thirty years from today.

Retro logo layout of a bicycle developed for a Yucca Valley coffee cafe as well as a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This startup coffee roaster and coffeehouse were launching in an older part of the area and wished to cast a vintage feel without appearing as monotonous or low energy. I achieved the two tasks via creating a custom logo design that incorporates a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is antiquated, high energy, and is a classic business image.

clinical logo design with a microscopic lense slide and bacteria created for Yucca Valley medical center.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the scientific discipline which examines the triggers and effects of diseases, mainly the field of medicine that deals with the clinical examination of samplings of human body tissue for diagnostic or forensic objectives.

The Mid-Valley Pathology brand I came up with is the sole instance I call to mind in which I was able to integrate a bacteria-laden microscope slide into a logo design.

Generally I try not to be extremely literal with a design and to a point, this specific design approaches the company it serves fairly literally, but it does it in a way that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as a description of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the brand that helps make it more appealing, more attention grabbing and much more memorable.

logo design with a leaping eco-friendly frog created for a family fun facility in Yucca Valley.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a very cool project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s additionally a project that is way out of the norm of the sorts of jobs that come my way, I’ve produced dozens of logo designs for physicians, dental practices, and legal professionals but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park that I have ever gotten the opportunity to work on.

Given that the full name of the company features the word springz in its name the clear choice would have been to feature a couple springs into the concept but Cool Springz is a fun destination to go and spring doesn’t actually reflect an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, in the end I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to give the logo a more lively high energy atmosphere.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my brainchild and named the frog Jax and incorporated him in to everything they utilized for marketing. I also believe this is the only time that a logo I designed was made into a mascot when they had an employee costume fashioned to look just like my frog design.

photography logo featuring a flock of birds, a hill, a path, a stream, and also a tree - designed for Yucca Valley travel digital photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a custom logo design project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a rather niche field of photography and I believe it is a niche profession because travel photographers don’t capture places or things but rather reveal emotional experiences through the images they capture. The idea behind this logo design was to use negative space to convey more than what was visible upon initial view, which I think is quintessential of most professional photographers in that they often share entire stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey a lot more than that because their photos often have an emotional resonance which can’t be communicated with mere words. I tried to do something similar to this logo design by using the positive space in the design to say one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was communicated through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my objective was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Yucca Valley logo but also to illustrate the depth in her art and in the way that she sees the world through the lens of her camera.

Yucca Valley logo style with a seagull made use of for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail service.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The bulk of logo design projects that I take on I really take pleasure in and the Coastal Wireless project was one that I really felt good about, however the customer didn’t quite share my excitement for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull silhouette as a stroke in the letter A but the customer, while he loved the concept, really did not care for my choice of birds. This particular guy genuinely despised seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, thankfully the rest of his friends and family did not share his scorn for this specific breed of sea bird.

When I turn a concept over to a client I urge them to share it with friends and family as well as with individuals that they don’t actually know so as to get objective point of views on the worthiness of a design concept. Fortunately, he shared it with his family members and they really liked the design and were able to persuade him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to insert every other seabird he could think of … in the end I was able to talk him out of his preference of a pelican and he proceeded with the original design.

Logo designs are a weird creature in the design world given that the people that are inclined to hire an expert to create their logo design understand how essential a logo is for their company so they are much more vested in the outcome. Every logo project has it’s allotment of obstacles, but the largest challenge is finding that sweet spot in a design that operates really well at the job it’s needed to do in branding a business and also giving the customer the image they see for themselves.

a red panda logo layout with bamboo behind-the-scenes, style for Yucca Valley publication author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a cramped segment of real estate to work with, however it really is the most essential part of a printed book due to the fact that it is often the very first thing a person sees in the bookstore. For a publisher, it’s the optimal opportunity they will likely ever have to spotlight their product and get their logo design in front of the men and women that shop for actual books.

This 3 color design is vivid, picturesque and eye-catching and it gives plenty of area for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design made for an airline company in Los Angeles, the logo design has two letter A's with the bars changed to indicate they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and go however it seems that in many cases 1 of the aspects individuals usually tend to recall the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a modest new venture commuter/shuttle airline company located in LA and although I’m not certain it really “took off” their custom logo didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their name lent itself well to imparting a good sense of flight and it was undoubtedly a winner.

Yucca Valley logo style made use of for advertising and a tag design for Vintage Case features an archaic font layout.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in brand new cases for musical instruments, that appeared to be much older cases. For this brand concept I strove to come up with a logo that offered a fluid vintage feel to it and could easily be utilized for everything from a web page to an insignia on brand new cases that looked like they were from another era.

Logo design created for an orthodontist in Yucca Valley, design include an arc with lines intersecting through it to suggest metal braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dentistry logo designs can be one of the most difficult logo projects because it seems that almost every dentist includes a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dentistry business logos are one of the very most cliche ridden fields when it comes to company branding, if restaurants approached their advertising in the same way dental practitioners do every one of their logos would definitely be a picture trying to explain something they served, McDonalds would probably have a picture of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind adding an image of something mouth associated to a dentist’s company logo nevertheless it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental profession.

I actually love doing dental care logo designs because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a certain field of the field of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd approach that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics provided such an opportunity and subsequently I created a layout that does not have a single smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still suggested in the design. When I turned this concept over to the client the only smile that was evident was really the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo made for a household nonprofit, the logo design includes 4 characters surprised in elevation to stand for a family unit with in the design.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation contacted ImageCo to help them come up with a logo that would be illustrative of the love that William McNally had for the people in his community. The majority of logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain pictures of a happy family, a cliche heavy strategy to any logo design is to be very literal pertaining to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve found that the best designs are the ones that are downplayed and don’t hit the viewer on the head with what the business or organization wishes to communicate.

The McNally Foundation’s name provided a unique opportunity to do a logo that conveyed that they were about families without being openly cheesy about it. The objective of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer attempts to use the logo design to summarize specifically how people should think or feel they don’t understand the mission of a logo. If viewers have to think about a logo to understand what it means, it has fallen short, a logo needs to be instantly comprehended and a logo design that explains itself won’t have the chance to be comprehended.

Logo style developed for a hair layout studio featuring a manuscript font a hummingbird and also an implied orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios wanted a company logo that projected a spirit of peace and connection for their new hair studio. I came up with a concept that did not go the obvious course of crafting just a stylized orchid but instead crafted a business logo which implied a flower in the pattern of a swirl integrated into the letter O in the name and by placing emphasis on the logo design using the figure of a hummingbird hovering over the logo design itself. The obvious path in designing a logo is oftentimes the wrong path and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but alternately laid the importance on the perception that they wanted to forecast to their patrons.

Logo style for a software program designer the style features and famous element of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the key component of an operating system (OS). Traditionally, the kernel is responsible for memory management, process and task management, and disk managing. The kernel links the computer hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that acts as a bridge between the software program and hardware.

The logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a few miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to point out anything to anyone regarding to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. Nevertheless it meant something to the business owner of the business and in quite a few cases the meaning supporting a business logo is equally as important as how it serves the company it represents.

Develop logo style produced for a Yucca Valley indoor designer, style feature a collection of red circles that converge as well as replace the letter O in the middle of the logo style.

A logo design including a fisherman in the middle of the name casting a fly towards the visitor.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With companies like Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in over 7 billion a year offering supplies and equipment to outdoor sporting fans the owners of On the Fly knew the market was primed for an outdoor sporting merchant that functions as a consignment company. Whether or not you are into boating, angling or mountain climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly presents a location for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all kinds of passions, a location to market their pre-owned equipment to other sports enthusiasts. I designed their Yucca Valley logo dsign utilizing an image that pulls in the attention of vehicles and sends an image that wakens the passion of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages forty five miles per hour I realized it would take more than the average logo/sign to get commuters to take notice, hence the illustration of a fly fisherman in his natural and tranquil habitat.
Logo design MQ farms, this logo design has a field included into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms brand concept wasn’t really composed for an Yucca Valley area farm it was actually designed for an investments broker, and this trademark was one of multiple which fell under the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The aim was actually to develop a brand mark that projected esteem, success, and opulence.
Logo designed for the use of a sign for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is an ornate script typeface that is reminiscent of a famous sports team logo design.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I have crafted loads of restaurant logo designs and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the US, from cupcake bakeries to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my favorite. Brewgrrs was a great project where I worked directly with the proprietor to create a business logo that worked extremely well and did a great job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the illuminated sign which hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
