Canada Logo Design

Every new Canada organization knows they are in need of a logo, yet few new business owners entirely realize the crucial role their organization’s logo will take in their financial success, or precisely why one logo design functions more effectively than another. A logo design has a critical and sustaining influence on the growth of a company, go with the right one and it will make the door swing and cash register ring, choose the incorrect one and it can be a barrier and a hindrance for the life of a company.

The logos featured in the ImageCo portfolio help Canada  businesses succeed, they are effective in any given scenario and the reason why they are so effective is that they all have these 5 things in common.

  1. Simplicity: simple logos do not require deliberation, they can be grasped in just a look.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to billboards a scalable logo design will continue to be legible and equally emotive at any dimension.
  3. Versatility: logos that function on any device, in print, on product packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are unique, and they are suitable for the organization they stand for.
  5. Relevance: a company logo must be timeless and should feel as relevant today, tomorrow, and forty years from now.
Retro logo style of a bike produced for a Canada, Canada coffee cafe as well as a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This startup coffee roaster and coffee shop were actually opening in an older section of town and wanted to project an old-fashioned feel without coming across as stodgy or low energy. I achieved the two jobs by means of developing a business logo concept that uses a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, high energy, and is a classic business image.

medical logo design with a microscope slide and germs designed for Canada, Canada medical facility.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science that analyzes the root causes and consequences of diseases, mainly the field of healthcare which deals with the clinical examination of samples of body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic objectives.

The Mid-Valley Pathology logo I came up with is really the only instance I call to mind in which I was able to integrate a bacteria-laden microscope slide into a business logo design.

Generally I try not to be extremely literal with a design and to a degree, this specific design approaches the company it serves very literally, however it does it in a fashion that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an illustration of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the brand that helps make it more intriguing, more focus grabbing and much more unforgettable.

logo layout with a jumping green frog developed for a family fun facility in Canada, Canada.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a very fun project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the norm of the kinds of jobs which come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for health care providers, dental professionals, and lawyers but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park that I have actually ever had the opportunity to work on.

Given that the full name of the company features the word springz in its name the clear choice would have been to integrate a few springs into the concept but Cool Springz is a fun place to go and spring doesn’t actually resonate an atmosphere of fun does it. My thought process on this project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, ultimately I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to provide the logo a much more lively high energy mood.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my brainchild and named the frog Jax and integrated him in to everything they utilized for promotion and marketing. I also think this is the only time that a logo I did was turned into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fabricated to look just like my frog design.

photography logo design including a group of birds, a mountain, a path, a stream, and a tree - designed for Canada, Canada traveling photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo job I took on for a travel photographer, which is a rather specialized field of photography and I believe it is a niche sector due to the fact that travel photographers don’t capture places or things but rather convey emotional journeys by means of the images they record. The thought behind this logo composition was to utilize negative space to convey more than what was visible upon initial glance, which I think is representative of almost all good photographers in that they oftentimes share whole stories through their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey much more than that because their photos frequently have an emotional fullness which can’t be conveyed with mere words. I made an effort to do something similar to this logo by using the positive space in the design to suggest one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was communicated through the first impression. I think, in looking back, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Canada logo design but also to reveal the depth in her work and in the way that she perceives the world through the lens of her camera.

Canada logo layout with a seagull made use of for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail business.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The lion’s share of logo design jobs that I take on I seriously savor and the Coastal Wireless assignment was one that I really felt good about, but the client didn’t quite share my excitement for it. I felt really good about the concept of using the seagull shape as a stroke in the character A however the client, even though he loved the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This guy really loathed seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, fortunately the rest of his family members didn’t share his aversion for this particular kind of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a customer I encourage them to share it with colleagues and family as well as with people that they don’t even know so as to get impartial opinions on the benefit of a design concept. Fortunately, he shared it with his family and they really loved the design and were able to persuade him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to include every other seabird he could think of … eventually I was able to talk him out of his alternative of a pelican and he went with the original design.

Logo designs are a weird animal in the design world given that the people that are inclined to hire a professional to create their logo comprehend how essential a logo is for their company so they are way more invested in the final result. Every logo design job possesses it’s allotment of challenges, but the greatest challenge is identifying that sweet spot in a design that operates really well at the task it’s required to do in branding a business and also giving the client the image they see for themselves.

a red panda logo design with bamboo in the background, design for Canada, Canada book author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a thin parcel of real estate to work with, nevertheless it really is the most important part of a published book since it is in most cases the very first thing a person sees in the book shop. With regard to a publishing company, it’s the most ideal opportunity they will ever get to spotlight their label and get their logo design in front of the men and women that buy actual books.

This three color design is vivid, colorful and eye-catching and it leaves plenty of area for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo developed for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo has 2 letter A's with the bars modified to imply they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines come and go yet it seems like that in many cases 1 of the things individuals usually tend to recollect the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a modest startup commuter/shuttle airline located in LA and while I’m not sure it really “took off” their logo design didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their title lent itself well to affording a good sense of airline flight and it was surely a winner.

Canada logo layout utilized for advertising as well as a tag layout for Vintage Instance includes an old font style design.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in new cases for musical instruments, which looked to be much older cases. For this brand design I sought to come up with a logo that provided a fluid vintage feel to it and could be utilized for every thing from a web site to an insignia on brand new cases that appeared like they were from another generation.

Logo design developed for an orthodontist in Canada, Canada, design include an arc with lines converging via it to indicate steel braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dentistry business logos can be one of the most difficult logo jobs due to the fact that it seems that each and every dentist includes a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental business logos are one of the very most cliche ridden professions when it comes to small business branding, if dining establishments approached their advertising in the same way dental offices do every one of their logos would definitely be a picture trying to explain something they served, McDonalds would most likely include a picture of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind including an image of something mouth related to a dentist’s logo nevertheless it has to be done subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental care profession.

I really enjoy doing dentist logo designs because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a certain area of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd course of action that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics offered such an opportunity and subsequently I created a layout that does not have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t overt, they are still suggested in the concept. When I turned this design over to the client the only smile that was evident was actually the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo made for a household not-for-profit, the logo design features 4 characters staggered in height to represent a family with in the design.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation asked ImageCo to help them come up with a logo that would be representative of the devotion that William McNally had for the folks in his city. Most logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain portrayals of a happy family, a cliche heavy technique to any logo design is to be far too literal about what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best concepts are the ones that are downplayed and don’t hit the viewer on the head with what the company or institution wishes to communicate.

The McNally Foundation’s name offered a unique opportunity to do a custom logo design which communicated that they were about families without being overtly corny about it. The aim of a logo is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer makes an effort to use the logo design to illustrate exactly how individuals should think or feel they don’t understand the objective of a logo. If people have to ponder a logo design to understand what it means, it has failed, a logo needs to be instantly comprehended and a logo design that describes itself won’t have the likelihood to be comprehended.

Logo style developed for a hair style workshop including a manuscript font a hummingbird as well as an indicated orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios wanted a business logo which carried a sense of tranquility and connection for their new hair salon. I came up with a concept which did not go the obvious path of making simply a stylized orchid but instead created a logo design which implied a flower in the pattern of a swirl featured in to the letter O in the title and by placing emphasis on the concept using the silhouette of a hummingbird hovering above the logo design itself. The obvious path in creating a company logo is generally the wrong route and in this case, the design ended up not being about the flower but alternately put the attention on the feeling that they really wanted to transmit to their patrons.

Logo style for a software program designer the style functions as well as legendary element of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the central part of an operating system (OS). Traditionally, the kernel is responsible for memory management, process and task management, and hard drive management. The kernel attaches the computer hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that operates as a connection in between the software program and hardware.

The business logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a couple of miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to spell out anything to anyone regarding to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. But it meant something to the owner of the company and in quite a few cases the substance supporting a business logo is equally as important as how it brands the enterprise it represents.

A logo layout featuring an angler in the center of the name casting a fly in the direction of the audience.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brand names like Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year retailing supplies and equipment to outdoor sporting enthusiasts the owners of On the Fly knew the market was ready for an outdoor sporting merchant that operates as a consignment firm. Whether you are into boating, fishing or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a location for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all kinds of passions, a location to sell their secondhand goods to other sports enthusiasts. I created their Canada business logo dsign using an image which garners the interest of traffic and sends an image that arouses the enthusiasm of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages forty five miles per hour I knew it would take more than the average logo/sign to get commuters to take notice, hence the picture of a fly fisherman in his natural and peaceful habitat.
Logo layout MQ farms, this logo style has an area incorporated into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms custom logo idea wasn’t actually composed for an Canada, Canada regional farm it was actually designed for a commodities broker, and this particular creative logo was one of a handful of that fell underneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The objective was actually to generate an identity that projected self-assurance, effectiveness, and opulence.

Canada Logo design for a nonprofit, Transforming Point Solutions - the logo style function for ostensibly encountering arrowhead and also the arrowheads imply that it is a ruby form.

Turning Point Foundation | Logo Design

The Turning Point Foundation was totally open to what kind of logo design that they would like, this can be a good thing or a bad thing. Good in that it provides a designer the freedom to discover any concept that comes to mind, bad in that it’s tricky to hit a bullseye without understanding where the target is. Fortunately, in this instance, I hit a bullseye with the very first try.

Logo created for the use of an indication for the restaurant (Brewgrrs), it is an ornate script font style that is reminiscent of a renowned sports team logo.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve designed dozens of restaurant custom logo designs and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments, and eateries all over the United States, from cupcake bake shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I believe Brewgrrs was my favorite. Brewgrrs was a great project in which I worked directly with the proprietor to produce a business logo which worked very well and did a great job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the neon signage which hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very legible from over a block away.
