Chandler Logo Design

Every new Chandler venture understands that they need a logo, yet few new business owners fully grasp the essential role their logo design can take in their becoming successful, or the reason that one business logo functions better than another. A company logo has an immediate and sustaining influence on the growth of a company, choose the right one and it will make the door swing and phone ring, select the wrong one and it can be a barrier and a hindrance for the longevity of a business. The logos presented in the ImageCo portfolio help Chandler companies prosper, they are effective in any given scenario and the reason why they are so effective is that they all have these five things in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logo designs do not demand deliberation, they can be grasped in just a glimpse.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to signboards a scalable logo will remain legible and equally emotive at any scale.
  3. Versatility: logos that operate on any device, in print, on product packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are personal, and they are suitable for the business they represent.
  5. Relevance: a logo needs to be lasting and will feel relevant today, tomorrow, and twenty years from now.

Retro logo design of a bicycle produced for a Chandler coffee cafe and a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This fledgling coffee roaster and coffeehouse were launching in an old section of the city and hoped to visualize a nostalgic tone without coming across as uninteresting or low energy. I accomplished each of the jobs by developing a business logo design that uses a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is antiquated, higher energy, and is a timeless business image.

clinical logo style with a microscopic lense slide as well as bacteria developed for Chandler medical center.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the scientific discipline which researches the triggers and outcomes of diseases, especially the field of medicine that works with the clinical examination of samples of human body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic intents.

The Mid-Valley Pathology custom logo design I came up with is really the sole instance I call to mind in which I was in a position to integrate a bacteria-laden microscope slide right into a business logo design.

Normally I attempt not to be overly literal with a design and to a degree, this specific design approaches the company it serves rather literally, yet it does it in a way that incorporates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as a description of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancer to the brand that helps make it more captivating, more focus grabbing and even more unforgettable.

logo design with a jumping eco-friendly frog created for a household enjoyable center in Chandler.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a very fun project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s additionally a project that is way out of the norm of the types of projects which come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for medical professionals, dental offices, and legal professionals but Cool Springz is without question the one and only trampoline park that I have actually ever had the opportunity to work on.

Given that the title of the business features the word springz in its name the obvious choice would have been to include a couple of springs into the concept but Cool Springz is a fun location to go and spring doesn’t really resonate an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, ultimately I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to give the logo a much more enthusiastic high energy atmosphere.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my brainchild and named the frog Jax and featured him in to everything they used for advertising. I also think this is the only time that a logo I came up with was made into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fabricated to look exactly like my frog design.

digital photography logo design including a flock of birds, a mountain, a path, a stream, and a tree - developed for Chandler travel professional photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a rather specialized field of photography and I think it is a niche speciality due to the fact that travel photographers don’t capture locations or things but rather communicate emotional experiences by means of the pictures they capture. The thought behind this logo design was to utilize negative space to reveal more than what was visible upon initial glance, which I think is quintessential of the majority of good photographers in that they frequently tell entire stories through their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words but I think that some photographs convey significantly more than that because their photos frequently have an emotional resonance which can’t be revealed with just words. I made an effort to do something very similar to this logo design by using the positive space in the design to say one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was communicated through the first impression. I think, in looking back, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Chandler logo but also to illustrate the depth to her art and in the way that she sees the world through the lens of her camera.

Chandler logo layout with a seagull utilized for the letter A. Designed for a cordless retail company.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The lion’s share of business logo design projects that I take on I truly take pleasure in and the Coastal Wireless assignment was one that I really felt good about, however the client didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull silhouette as a stroke in the character A but the client, even though he liked the concept, really did not care for my choice of birds. This guy truly hated seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, fortunately the rest of his family didn’t share his hatred for this particular kind of sea bird.

When I turn a concept over to a customer I encourage them to talk about it with colleagues and family members as well as with other people that they don’t actually know so as to get impartial viewpoints on the merit of a design concept. Fortunately, he shared it with his family members and they loved the concept and were able to persuade him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to include every other seabird he could think of … eventually I was able to talk him out of his preference of a pelican and he proceeded with the original design.

Custom logo designs are a weird animal in the design world because the people that have a tendency to hire an expert to create their logo recognize how essential a logo design is for their organization so they are way more invested in the result. Every logo design project possesses it’s portion of difficulties, but the largest obstacle is identifying that sweet spot in a design that functions really well at the job it’s needed to do in branding a company and also giving the customer the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo style with bamboo in the background, style for Chandler book author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a slender slice of real estate to work with, but it is the most critical part of a printed book given that it is usually the primary thing a person sees in the book store. With respect to a publisher, it’s the optimal opportunity they will likely ever get to advertise their label and get their logo design in front of the individuals that shop for actual books.

This 3 color design is vibrant, colorful and eye-catching and it leaves plenty of space for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design developed for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo has 2 letter A's with the bars customized to suggest they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and go however it seems like that in many instances one of the aspects folks usually tend to recollect the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a small new venture commuter/shuttle airline company situated in LA and although I’m not certain it actually “took off” their organization logo didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their brand lent itself well to imparting a spirit of airline flight and it was certainly a winner.

Chandler logo style utilized for advertising and also a label design for Vintage Instance features an old font style.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case focused in brand-new cases for music instruments, which seemed to be vintage cases. For this brand design I strove to come up with a logo that possessed a fluid old style feel to it and could easily be used for everything from a website to an insignia on brand new cases that seemed like they were from another generation.

Logo design developed for an orthodontist in Chandler, design include an arc with lines intersecting via it to indicate metal dental braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental business logos can easily be one of the most challenging logo projects considering that it seems that every single dentist involves a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dentistry business logos are one of the most cliche ridden careers when it comes to business marketing, if restaurants approached their advertising in the same way dental offices do every one of their logo designs would definitely be a picture explaining something they served, McDonalds would most likely include an image of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind including an illustration of something mouth related to a dentist’s company logo but it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dental professionals logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental care industry.

I actually love doing dental care business logos because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a particular area of the field of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the stereotypical solution that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics offered such an opportunity and eventually I created a layout that does not have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t overt, they are still implied in the design. When I turned this particular concept over to the client the only smile that was apparent was really the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo developed for a household nonprofit, the logo features 4 personalities surprised in height to represent a family unit with in the design.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation asked ImageCo to help them come up with a logo that would be representative of the devotion that William McNally had for the people residing in his community. Most logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain depictions of a happy family, a cliche heavy approach to any logo design is to be overly literal about what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best concepts are the ones that are downplayed and don’t hit the viewer on the head with what the company or institution hopes to project.

The McNally Foundation’s name provided a unique opportunity to do a custom logo design which communicated that they were about families without being openly tacky about it. The aim of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer tries to use the logo design to describe how people ought to think or feel they don’t understand the mission of a logo. If you have to think about a logo to understand what it means, it has failed, a logo needs to be instantly understood and a logo design that describes itself won’t have the opportunity to be understood.

Logo design created for a hair style studio featuring a script font a hummingbird as well as an implied orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios required a logo which related a feeling of relaxation and connection for their new hair salon. I came up with a concept which did not go the obvious route of making just a stylized orchid but rather delivered a logo design which implied a flower in the formation of a swirl incorporated into the letter O in the title and by putting attention on the concept with the figure of a hummingbird hovering over the logo design itself. The obvious path in designing a business logo is usually the incorrect direction and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but alternately laid the focus on the feeling that they really wanted to transmit to their patrons.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

Logo style for a software application developer the design functions and legendary component of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the key part of an operating system (OS). Generally, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task control, and hard drive operations. The kernel attaches the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that functions as a connection between the software program and hardware.

The logo design I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a couple of miles from the offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to point out anything to anyone about what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However, it symbolized something to the business owner of the business and in many cases the substance behind a company logo is just as important as how it serves the business it stands for.

A logo layout including a fisherman in the middle of the name casting a fly in the direction of the audience.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brand names like Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in over 7 billion a year offering goods and equipment to outdoor sporting fans the owners of On the Fly recognized the market was prepared for an outdoor sporting store that operates as a consignment company. Whether or not you are into boating, fishing or mountain climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a place for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all sorts of passions, a location to sell their pre-owned equipment to other sports enthusiasts. I tailored their Chandler business logo dsign with an image that pulls in the attention of vehicles and sends an image that invokes the passion of the outdoors. With traffic that averages forty five mph I knew it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get commuters to take notice, hence the illustration of a fly fisherman in his natural and calm habitat.
Logo layout MQ farms, this logo design has actually an area incorporated into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms brand design wasn’t actually developed for an Chandler area farm it was in reality designed for a commodities broker, and this particular logo was one of many that fell under the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The aim was really to create an identity that projected assurance, effectiveness, and prosperity.
Logo developed for the use of an indication for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is an ornate script font style that is similar to a popular sporting activities group logo design.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I have designed loads of restaurant custom logo designs and business signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the US, from cupcake bakeries to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my favorite. Brewgrrs was a great project in which I worked closely with the proprietor to produce a logo which worked really well and did a great job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the neon signage which hung over their doors, and was highly visible and very legible from over a block away.
