Cimarron Hills Logo Design

Nearly every new Cimarron Hills company understands that they require a logo, but few entrepreneurs fully comprehend the vital role their business logo will perform in their success, or the reason that one logo design functions more effectively than another. A logo has an immediate and long term effect on the success of a business, go with the right one and it can make the door swing and cash register ring, choose the incorrect one and it will be a barrier and an impediment for the life of a company. The logos included in the ImageCo portfolio help Cimarron Hills businesses prosper, they are effective in any given situation and the main reason they are so effective is that they all have these 5 things in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logos do not demand consideration, they can be comprehended in merely a glance.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to posters a scalable business logo will be legible and equally emotive at every size.
  3. Versatility: logos that work on any type of device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are exclusive, and they are suitable for the company they stand for.
  5. Relevance: a company logo needs to be lasting and should feel relevant today, tomorrow, and 20 years from today.

Retro logo style of a bike produced for a Cimarron Hills coffee cafe and a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This budding coffee roaster and coffee shop were actually opening in an older part of the community and hoped to visualize an old-fashioned tone without appearing as stodgy or low energy. I accomplished the two tasks via developing a business logo design that uses a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, high energy, and is a timeless business image.

medical logo design with a microscopic lense slide and germs designed for Cimarron Hills medical facility.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science which investigates the causes and consequences of diseases, mainly the field of medicine that deals with the laboratory evaluation of samplings of body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic reasons.

The Mid-Valley Pathology custom logo design I came up with is really the only instance I recollect in which I was able to integrate a bacteria-laden microscope slide right into a logo design.

Normally I attempt not to be excessively literal with a design and to a point, this specific design approaches the company it represents fairly literally, but it does it in a fashion that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as a description of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the brand that helps make it more interesting, more focus grabbing and much more unforgettable.

logo layout with a jumping eco-friendly frog developed for a family members enjoyable center in Cimarron Hills.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a very fun project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s additionally a project that is way out of the usual of the kinds of projects that come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for doctors, dental practices, and legal professionals but Cool Springz is without question the one and only trampoline park which I have actually ever had the opportunity to work on.

Given that the title of the business has the word springz in its name the clear choice would have been to feature a couple of springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun location to go and spring does not really reflect an atmosphere of fun does it. My thought process on this logo design project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, inevitably I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to provide the logo a much more lively high energy feeling.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my design and named the frog Jax and integrated him in to everything they used for marketing and advertising. I also believe this is the only time that a logo I created was transformed into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fashioned to look just like my frog design.

digital photography logo design including a group of birds, a hill, a path, a stream, and a tree - designed for Cimarron Hills traveling digital photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a custom logo design project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a fairly specialized field of photography and I believe it is a niche area because travel photographers don’t capture places or things but instead project emotional journeys by means of the photos they capture. The idea behind this logo composition was to use negative space to communicate more than what was visible upon first glance, which I think is quintessential of the majority of professional photographers in that they often tell whole stories through their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey considerably more than that because their photos frequently have an emotional fullness that can’t be conveyed with just words. I attempted to do something the same to this logo design by employing the positive space in the design to say one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was communicated through the first impression. I think, in looking back, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Cimarron Hills logo design but also to show the depth of her art and in the way that she views the world through the lens of her camera.

Cimarron Hills logo style with a seagull used for the letter A. Designed for a cordless retail company.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The majority of logo design jobs that I take on I genuinely relish and the Coastal Wireless design was one that I really felt good about, however the customer didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the concept of using the seagull form as a stroke in the character A but my client, while he liked the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This guy seriously despised seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, luckily the rest of his family members didn’t share his scorn for this particular variety of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a client I encourage them to discuss it with friends and colleagues and family as well as with other people that they don’t even know so as to get unbiased assessments on the worthiness of a design concept. Fortunately, he discussed it with his family members and they adored the design and were able to persuade him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to include every other seabird he could think of … in the end I was able to talk him out of his preference of a pelican and he went with the original design.

Business logos are a strange creature in the design world because the people that tend to hire a professional to design their logo design understand how important a logo design is for their organization so they are much more invested in the end result. Every logo project possesses it’s portion of challenges, but the most significant obstacle is identifying that sweet spot in a design that functions really well at the job it’s needed to do in branding a business and also providing the client the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo style with bamboo in the background, style for Cimarron Hills publication author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a thin parcel of real estate to work with, nevertheless it is the most necessary part of a printed book given that it is in most cases the first thing a person views in the bookstore. With regard to a publishing company, it’s the optimal opportunity that they will likely ever have to spotlight their brand and get their logo design in front of the people that buy actual books.

This three color design is vibrant, picturesque and eye-catching and it gives plenty of room for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design made for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo design has two letter A's with benches changed to imply they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines come and depart however it looks like that in many cases 1 of the items individuals tend to recall the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a smaller start-up commuter/shuttle air service based in LA and while I’m not certain it actually “took off” their organization logo didn’t ground them. The bookend A’s in their brand lent itself well to imparting a good sense of air travel and it was undoubtedly a victory.

Cimarron Hills logo layout utilized for advertising and marketing and also a label layout for Vintage Case includes an old-fashioned font layout.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case focused in brand-new cases for music instruments, that appeared to be older cases. For this logo concept I attempted to come up with a logo that possessed a fluid old style feel to it and could easily be used for everything from a web page to a label on brand new cases that seemed like they were from a different era.

Logo produced for an orthodontist in Cimarron Hills, layout consist of an arc with lines intersecting via it to indicate metal braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental care logo designs can be one of the most difficult logo design jobs considering that it seems that every dentist features a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental logo designs are one of the most cliche ridden professions when it comes to company advertising, if restaurants approached their branding in the very same way dental professionals do every one of their logos would definitely be a picture trying to explain anything they served, McDonalds would probably include an image of a potato and a cow.

I understand the thinking behind including a likeness of something mouth related to a dentist’s logo but it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dental professionals logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental industry.

I really love doing dental business logos because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a particular area of dental treatment like orthodontics without resorting to the stereotypical solution that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics offered such an opportunity and inevitably I created a concept that does not have a single smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still suggested in the design. When I turned this concept over to the customer the only smile that was obvious was really the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo design made for a household nonprofit, the logo includes 4 characters startled in height to stand for a family unit with in the layout.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation reached out to ImageCo to help them come up with a logo design that would be depictive of the devotion that William McNally had for the people in his community. The majority of logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain images of a happy family, a cliche heavy approach to any logo design is to be very literal about what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve found that the best concepts are the ones that are downplayed and never hit the viewer on the head with what the company or organization hopes to relate.

The McNally Foundation’s name provided a distinct opportunity to do a logo design that conveyed that they were about families without being openly cheesy about it. The aim of a logo is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer attempts to use the logo to explain how individuals ought to think or feel they don’t understand the purpose of a logo. If viewers have to think about a logo to understand what it means, it has fallen short, a logo needs to be immediately comprehended and a logo design that explains itself will never have the chance to be understood.

Logo style developed for a hair design studio featuring a manuscript font a hummingbird as well as an implied orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios needed a logo which projected an atmosphere of contentment and elegance for their new hair salon. I came up with a design which didn’t go the obvious direction of designing merely a stylized orchid but alternatively designed a logo design which suggested an orchid in the formation of a swirl integrated in to the letter O in the name and by putting attention on the concept with the silhouette of a hummingbird hovering over the logo itself. The obvious path in creating a logo design is in most cases the wrong route and in this case, the design ended up not being about the flower but alternately put the focus on the feeling that they wanted to forecast to their customers.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

Logo style for a software application programmer the design attributes and famous element of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the principal component of an operating system (OS). Traditionally, the kernel is responsible for memory management, process and task control, and hard drive operations. The kernel unites the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that functions as a connection between the software program and computer hardware.

The logo design I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is located a number of miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to spell out anything to anyone pertaining to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However, it symbolized something to the owner of the business and in many cases the significance supporting a business logo is equally as important as how it serves the enterprise it represents.

A logo layout featuring a fisherman in the center of the name casting a fly towards the viewer.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With companies such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in over 7 billion a year offering goods and equipment to outdoor sporting enthusiasts the owners of On the Fly recognized the market was primed for an outdoor sporting store that operates as a consignment company. Whether or not you are into boating, fishing or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a location for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all kinds of passions, a spot to sell off their used goods to other sports enthusiasts. I designed their Cimarron Hills business logo dsign along with an illustration that captures the attention of vehicles and projects an image that arouses the passion of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages forty five mph I knew it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the image of a fly fisherman in his natural and tranquil habitat.
Logo layout MQ ranches, this logo design has actually an area incorporated into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms custom logo idea wasn’t actually created for an Cimarron Hills area farm it was really created for a commodities broker, and this trademark was one of several which fell under the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The objective was really to design a graphic that projects esteem, success, and prosperity.
Logo design developed for using an indicator for the restaurant (Brewgrrs), it is an elaborate manuscript font that is evocative a well-known sports group logo design.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I have created quite a lot of restaurant business logos and business signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the USA, from cupcake bakeries to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a cool undertaking in which I worked closely with the business owner to create a business logo that worked very well and did a fantastic job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the illuminated signage which hung over their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
