Clifton Logo Design

Virtually every new Clifton company realizes that they require a logo, yet few entrepreneurs thoroughly comprehend the pivotal role their logo will play in their financial success, or exactly why one logo functions more effectively than another. A logo design has a critical and long term influence on the success of a company, pick the right one and it can make the door swing and phone ring, select the incorrect one and it will be an obstacle and a hindrance for the life of an organization. The logos included in the ImageCo portfolio help Clifton businesses prosper, they are effective in any given situation and the reason they are so effective is that they all have these five traits in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logo designs don’t demand scrutiny, they can be grasped in merely a glance.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to posters a scalable logo will continue to be legible and just as emotive at every dimension.
  3. Versatility: logos that work on any device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are exclusive, and they are suitable for the business they represent.
  5. Relevance: a logo must be lasting and should feel relevant today, tomorrow, and thirty years from today.

Retro logo style of a bike created for a Clifton coffee cafe and also a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This startup coffee roaster and coffee shop were actually launching in an old part of the town and wanted to visualize a retro vibe without coming across as uninteresting or low energy. I fulfilled each of the jobs by means of designing a business logo design that contains a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is antiquated, high energy, and is a classic business image.

medical logo layout with a microscopic lense slide as well as bacteria designed for Clifton clinical facility.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science that analyzes the triggers and consequences of diseases, mainly the branch of healthcare which deals with the laboratory evaluation of specimens of body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic intents.

The Mid-Valley Pathology logo design I came up with is really the sole instance I recollect where I was in a position to integrate a bacteria-laden microscope slide within a logo design.

Normally I attempt not to be overly literal with a concept and to a degree, this design approaches the company it serves quite literally, but it does it in a way that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an explanation of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the brand that helps make it more captivating, more attention grabbing and even more memorable.

logo style with a jumping eco-friendly frog designed for a household enjoyable center in Clifton.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really fun project to work on, probably because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the usual of the sorts of projects which come my way, I’ve produced dozens of logo designs for health care providers, dentists, and lawyers but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park that I have actually ever had the privilege to work on.

Given that the full name of the company has the word springz in its name the clear choice would have been to integrate a few springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun location to go and spring doesn’t really reflect an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, ultimately I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the name itself to give the logo a better enthusiastic high energy impression.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my design and named the frog Jax and incorporated him in to everything they used for marketing and advertising. I also believe this is the only time that a logo I created was turned into a mascot when they had a staff member costume fashioned to look just like my frog design.

photography logo featuring a flock of birds, a hill, a trail, a stream, and also a tree - designed for Clifton travel professional photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo job I took on for a travel photographer, which is a fairly specialized field of photography and I think it is a niche speciality because travel photographers don’t capture places or things but rather communicate emotional journeys by means of the pictures they capture. The thought behind this logo composition was to use negative space to convey more than what was visible upon initial glance, which I think is representative of almost all good photographers in that they frequently share whole stories through their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey a lot more than that because their photos frequently have an emotional fullness which can’t be communicated with mere words. I attempted to do something comparable to this logo by employing the positive space in the design to suggest one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my objective was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Clifton logo design but also to illustrate the depth in her art and in the way that she perceives the world through the lens of her camera.

Clifton logo design with a seagull utilized for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail organisation.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The majority of custom logo design projects that I take on I honestly take pleasure in and the Coastal Wireless assignment was one that I certainly felt good about, however the client didn’t quite share my excitement for it. I felt really good about the idea of using the seagull shape as a stroke in the character A however my customer, even though he liked the concept, really did not care for my choice of birds. This particular guy truly despised seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, thankfully the rest of his friends and family did not share his hatred for this particular type of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a client I urge them to talk about it with friends and family as well as with people that they don’t even know so as to get unprejudiced assessments on the merit of a design. Fortunately, he talked about it with his whole family and they loved the design and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to incorporate every other seabird he could think of … eventually I was able to talk him out of his choice of a pelican and he proceeded with the original concept.

Logo designs are a strange animal in the design world given that the people that have a tendency to hire a professional to create their logo understand how crucial a logo design is for their organization so they are much more invested in the outcome. Every logo design job has it’s portion of difficulties, however the biggest challenge is identifying that sweet spot in a design that functions really well at the job it’s required to do in branding a business and also providing the client the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo style with bamboo behind-the-scenes, layout for Clifton book author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a cramped segment of real estate to work with, yet it is the most essential part of a printed book given that it is often the primary thing a person views in the book store. With regard to a publishing company, it’s the absolute best opportunity that they will likely ever have to advertise their label and get their logo design in front of the men and women that buy actual books.

This three color design is vivid, colorful and eye-catching and it gives plenty of area for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo developed for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo has 2 letter A's with benches customized to suggest they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines come and depart yet it looks like that in many cases one of the traits consumers usually tend to remember the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a smaller fledgling commuter/shuttle airline company situated in LA and while I’m not sure it actually “took off” their business logo didn’t ground them. The bookend A’s in their brand lent itself well to affording a spirit of flight and it was definitely a success.

Clifton logo layout utilized for marketing and also a tag style for Vintage Situation includes an antiquated font style style.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in new cases for music instruments, which looked to be much older cases. For this custom logo concept I strove to come up with a logo that provided a fluid vintage feel to it and could be used for anything from a web site to an insignia on brand new cases that looked like they were from another point in time.

Logo design developed for an orthodontist in Clifton, layout include an arc with lines intersecting via it to suggest metal dental braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dentistry logos can be one of the most difficult logo design jobs considering that it seems that virtually every dental professional involves a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dentistry logo designs are one of the very most cliche ridden careers when it comes to small business advertising, if dining establishments approached their branding in the very same way dental practitioners do every one of their logos would be a picture explaining something they served, McDonalds would probably have a picture of a potato and a cow.

I understand the thinking behind adding an image of something mouth associated to a dentist’s logo but it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dentistry profession.

I actually love doing dental business logos simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a particular area of the field of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd course of action that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics delivered such an opportunity and ultimately I created a layout that doesn’t have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still suggested in the concept. When I turned this design over to the client the only smile that was evident was the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo design developed for a family nonprofit, the logo design features 4 characters staggered in height to represent a family with in the layout.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation contacted ImageCo to help them come up with a custom logo design that would be illustrative of the love that William McNally had for the residents in his community. Most logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain pictures of a happy family, a cliche heavy strategy to any logo design is to be very literal with regards to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve found that the best designs are the ones that are downplayed and never hit the viewer on the head with what the company or institution hopes to project.

The McNally Foundation’s name presented a distinct opportunity to do a logo design which conveyed that they were about families without being openly corny about it. The objective of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer attempts to use the logo design to describe specifically how individuals should think or feel they don’t understand the objective of a logo. If people have to ponder a logo design to understand what it means, it has fallen short, a logo needs to be instantly understood and a logo design that illustrates itself won’t have the likelihood to be comprehended.

Logo design created for a hair design workshop including a manuscript font a hummingbird as well as a suggested orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios required a logo which projected a feeling of contentment and elegance for their new hair salon. I created a concept which did not go the obvious direction of making simply a stylized orchid but instead crafted a logo design that implied a flower in the formation of a swirl blended into the letter O in the name and by putting attention on the concept along with the silhouette of a hummingbird hovering over the logo itself. The obvious path in creating a company logo is more often than not the wrong path and in this case, the design ended up not being about the flower but instead put the focus on the emotion that they wanted to forecast to their patrons.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

ImageCo developed a one-of-a-kind company logo design tailored to manifest the unique physical traits of the Arabian kind of horses. By having a distinctive head shape and higher tail posture, the Arabian is one of the most immediately recognizable equine lineages in the whole world.

Las Cafe logo layout a small restaurant, layout contains a customized manuscript typeface which floats above a group of luxuriant lines and also dots.

Las Cafe logo layout a little restaurant, design includes a changed manuscript font which hovers over a team of elaborate lines as well as dots.

Logo layout for a software application developer the design attributes and also legendary element of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the key component of an operating system (OS). Generally, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task management, and disk operations. The kernel attaches the computer hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that behaves as a bridge between the software and computer hardware.

The business logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a few miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to identify anything to anyone with regards to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. But it symbolized something to the owner of the company and in many cases the symbolism supporting a logo is equally as important as how it brands the business it represents.

Advance logo layout developed for a Clifton indoor developer, design attribute a series of red circles that converge and also change the letter O in the middle of the logo layout.

Evolv Interior Design | Logo Design | Branding

A logo style featuring a fisherman in the middle of the name casting a fly in the direction of the audience.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brand names such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in over 7 billion a year offering goods and equipment to outdoor sporting fans the founders of On the Fly knew the market was primed for an outdoor sporting merchant that functions as a consignment company. Whether or not you are into boating, sportfishing or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly presents a place for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all kinds of passions, a spot to sell off their previously owned goods to other sports enthusiasts. I tailored their Clifton logo dsign using a graphic that garners the interest of traffic and sends an image that wakens the passion of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages 45 mph I realized it would take more than the average logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the graphic of a fly fisherman in his natural and serene habitat.
Logo style MQ ranches, this logo layout has actually an area integrated right into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms emblem idea wasn’t really created for an Clifton regional farm it was in reality designed for a products broker, and this particular business logo was one of many that fell under the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The goal was to make an identity that projects self-assurance, success, and wealth.
Logo developed for making use of an indication for the restaurant (Brewgrrs), it is an ornate script font style that is reminiscent of a popular sports team logo design.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve crafted quite a lot of restaurant business logos and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the United States, from cupcake bakeshops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I believe Brewgrrs was my favorite. Brewgrrs was a neat undertaking where I worked closely with the proprietor to design a logo which worked very well and did a fantastic job to brand them, it functioned on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the neon signage that hung over their doors, and was highly visible and very legible from over a block away.
