Security-Widefield Logo Design

Each and every new Security-Widefield company knows they need a logo, but few new business owners thoroughly comprehend the key role their organization logo can make in their success, or precisely why one business logo performs more effectively than another. A logo has a critical and sustaining influence on the growth of a company, go with the correct one and it will make the door swing and cash register ring, go with the incorrect one and it will be an obstacle and a hindrance for the longevity of a company. The logos featured in the ImageCo portfolio help Security-Widefield businesses succeed, they are effective in any given circumstance and the reason why they are so effective is because they all have these five features in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logos do not require scrutiny, they can be realized in merely a glimpse.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to billboards a scalable logo design will stay legible and just as emotive at every scale.
  3. Versatility: logos that function on any type of device, in print, on packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball-cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are exclusive, and they are suitable for the company they represent.
  5. Relevance: a business logo needs to be lasting and will feel relevant today, tomorrow, and thirty years from now.

Retro logo design of a bike produced for a Security-Widefield coffee cafe and also a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This budding coffee roaster and bistro were actually opening up in an old part of the area and wished to visualize a vintage feel without appearing as monotonous or low energy. I accomplished both of these tasks by developing a logo design that uses a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, higher energy, and is a ageless business image.

clinical logo style with a microscope slide and also bacteria designed for Security-Widefield medical center.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science that investigates the triggers and outcomes of diseases, mainly the field of healthcare that works with the laboratory assessment of samples of body tissue for diagnostic or forensic intents.

The Mid-Valley Pathology brand I came up with is the sole instance I remember where I was in a position to integrate a bacteria-laden microscope slide within a logo design.

Typically I attempt not to be excessively literal with a concept and to a point, this specific design approaches the company it represents fairly literally, however it does it in a fashion that incorporates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as a description of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the name that makes it more interesting, more focus grabbing and even more memorable.

logo style with a leaping eco-friendly frog created for a household enjoyable facility in Security-Widefield.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really fun project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the norm of the types of jobs which come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for surgeons, dental practices, and legal professionals but Cool Springz is without question the one and only trampoline park that I have actually ever had the privilege to work on.

Given that the title of the business has the word springz in its name the obvious choice would have been to feature a couple of springs into the concept but Cool Springz is a fun location to go and spring doesn’t actually reflect an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this logo design project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, ultimately I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to provide the logo a more lively high energy mood.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my brainchild and named the frog Jax and featured him in to everything they used for promotion and marketing. I also believe this is the only time that a logo I designed was transformed into a mascot when they had an employee costume fabricated to look exactly like my frog design.

photography logo including a group of birds, a mountain, a route, a stream, as well as a tree - designed for Security-Widefield traveling digital photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a rather specialized field of photography and I think it is a niche sector because travel photographers tend not to capture locations or things but instead communicate emotional experiences through the pictures they capture. The idea behind this logo design was to utilize negative space to project more than what was visible upon first glance, which I think is representative of the majority of good photographers in that they often share whole stories through their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words but I think that some photographs convey a great deal more than that because their photos frequently have an emotional resonance which can’t be communicated with mere words. I tried to do something much the same to this logo design by making use of the positive space in the design to voice one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was conveyed through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my objective was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Security-Widefield logo but also to show the depth of her art and in the way that she views the world through the lens of her camera.

Security-Widefield logo layout with a seagull used for the letter A. Designed for a cordless retail organisation.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The bulk of custom logo design jobs that I take on I really savor and the Coastal Wireless design was one that I certainly felt good about, however the customer didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the concept of using the seagull shape as a stroke in the character A but my client, while he loved the concept, really did not care for my choice of birds. This particular guy genuinely disliked seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, thankfully the rest of his family members didn’t share his aversion for this specific variety of sea bird.

When I turn a concept over to a client I urge all of them to discuss it with friends and colleagues and family as well as with people that they don’t even know so as to get neutral viewpoints on the benefit of a concept. Fortunately, he shared it with his family members and they adored the concept and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to include every other seabird he could think of … eventually I was able to talk him out of his choice of a pelican and he went with the original concept.

Logos are a weird animal in the design world given that the people that are inclined to hire an expert to design their business logo realize how vital a logo design is for their business so they are way more vested in the outcome. Every logo design project has it’s share of hurdles, however the most significant challenge is finding that sweet spot in a design that works really well at the job it’s required to do in branding a company and also giving the client the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo style with bamboo in the background, design for Security-Widefield book publisher

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a narrow slice of real estate to work with, however it is the most crucial part of a published book since it is ordinarily the initial thing a person sees in the bookstore. With regard to a publisher, it’s the most ideal opportunity they will ever have to advertise their brand and get their logo design in front of the people that shop for actual books.

This 3 color design is vivid, colorful and eye-catching and it leaves plenty of territory for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design developed for an airline company in Los Angeles, the logo has two letter A's with the bars customized to imply they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines arrive and go nevertheless it seems like that in many occurrences one of the aspects people usually tend to remember the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a small new venture commuter/shuttle airline situated in LA and although I’m not certain it really “took off” their organization logo didn’t ground them. The bookend A’s in their name lent itself well to imparting a sense of flight and it was surely a victory.

Security-Widefield logo layout utilized for advertising and marketing and a tag style for Vintage Situation includes an old font style.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in new cases for music instruments, which looked to be antique cases. For this business logo design I attempted to come up with a logo that offered a fluid vintage feel to it and could easily be used for anything from a web page to a label on brand new cases that appeared like they were from a different point in time.

Logo developed for an orthodontist in Security-Widefield, layout consist of an arc with lines converging via it to suggest steel braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental care business logos can be one of the most difficult logo design jobs considering that it seems that every single dental professional features a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dentistry logo designs are one of the most cliche ridden professions when it comes to company marketing, if dining establishments approached their branding in the very same way dental offices do every one of their logos would definitely be a picture explaining anything they served, McDonalds would most likely contain an image of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind including a likeness of something mouth associated to a dentist’s logo design nevertheless it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dental professionals logo that litter the branding landscape of the dentistry industry.

I really love doing dental care logos because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a particular field of the field of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the clichéd solution that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics offered such an opportunity and subsequently I created a design that does not have a single smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t obvious, they are still implied in the design. When I turned this particular concept over to the client the only smile that was evident was actually the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo design designed for a household not-for-profit, the logo features 4 characters startled in elevation to represent a family with in the layout.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation reached out to ImageCo to help them come up with a custom logo design that would be representative of the love that William McNally had for the people residing in his city. Most logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain pictures of a happy family, a cliche heavy strategy to any logo design is to be overly literal pertaining to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve found that the best concepts are the ones that are downplayed and don’t hit the viewer on the head with what the business or organization hopes to project.

The McNally Foundation’s name provided a distinct opportunity to do a custom logo design that conveyed that they were about families without being openly cheesy about it. The objective of a logo is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer makes an effort to use the logo design to summarize specifically how people ought to think or feel they don’t understand the mission of a logo. If you have to consider a logo design to understand what it means, it has been in vain, a logo needs to be immediately understood and a logo that illustrates itself will never have the opportunity to be comprehended.

Logo style developed for a hair design workshop including a script font a hummingbird and a suggested orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios desired a logo which communicated an atmosphere of contentment and elegance for their new hair salon. I created a design which didn’t go the obvious course of crafting merely a stylized orchid but alternatively crafted a logo that suggested a flower in the formation of a swirl featured into the letter O in the title and by putting attention on the concept with the silhouette of a hummingbird hovering above the logo itself. The obvious path in creating a company logo is generally the incorrect course and in this case, the design ended up not being about the flower but instead put the focus on the perception that they wanted to transmit to their patrons.

Logo layout for a software designer the style attributes as well as famous element of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the key component of an operating system (OS). Traditionally, the kernel is responsible for memory management, process and task management, and hard drive managing. The kernel connects the computer hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that functions as a bridge between the software and hardware.

The logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a couple of miles from the offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to identify anything to anyone regarding to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However it symbolized something to the business owner of the company and in quite a few cases the significance supporting a business logo is just as important as how it serves the organization it represents.

A logo layout featuring a fisherman in the middle of the name casting a fly in the direction of the audience.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brands such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in more than 7 billion a year selling supplies and equipment to outdoor sporting enthusiasts the founders of On the Fly understood the market place was primed for an outdoor sporting retailer that operates as a consignment company. Whether or not you are into boating, fishing or rock climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a destination for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all types of interests, a place to market their pre-owned items to other sports enthusiasts. I created their Security-Widefield business logo dsign along with an illustration that captures the attention of traffic and sends an image that wakens the enthusiasm of the outdoors. With traffic that averages 45 mph I realized it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get travelers to take notice, hence the image of a fly fisherman in his natural and serene habitat.
Logo layout MQ ranches, this logo design has actually an area integrated into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms emblem design wasn’t really created for an Security-Widefield area farm it was in reality designed for a products broker, and this creative logo was one of several that fell beneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The end goal was really to generate a brand mark that projected self-assurance, financial success, and affluence.

I’ve created loads of restaurant logo designs and establishment signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the US, from cupcake pastry shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I believe Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a great undertaking in which I worked directly with the proprietor to develop a logo that worked extremely well and did a fantastic job to brand them, it functioned on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the illuminated sign that hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very legible from over a block away.
