Wethersfield Logo Design

Virtually every new Wethersfield company realizes that they require a logo, however few entrepreneurs thoroughly are aware of the essential role their organization logo will make in their becoming successful, or the reason that one logo design performs far better than another. A logo design has an immediate and sustaining effect on the prosperity of a company, choose the correct one and it can make the door swing and phone ring, select the incorrect one and it will be a barrier and a hindrance for the life of a company. The logos presented in the ImageCo portfolio help Wethersfield businesses succeed, they are effective in any given scenario and the reason they are so effective is because they all have these five things in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logos do not demand scrutiny, they can be grasped in just a glance.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to billboards a scalable logo design will continue to be legible and just as emotive at any dimension.
  3. Versatility: logos that work on any type of device, in print, on product packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are unique, and they are suitable for the enterprise they represent.
  5. Relevance: a company logo should be ageless and should feel relevant today, tomorrow, and twenty five years from now.

Retro logo layout of a bike developed for a Wethersfield coffee cafe and a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This fledgling coffee roaster and cafe were opening in an old part of the community and wished to project a retro feel without appearing as uninteresting or low energy. I accomplished the two jobs via designing a company logo concept that contains a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, higher energy, and is a ageless business image.

clinical logo layout with a microscopic lense slide and also bacteria created for Wethersfield clinical center.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the science which studies the causes and outcomes of diseases, especially the branch of medicine that deals with the clinical assessment of specimens of body cellular material for diagnostic or forensic purposes.

The Mid-Valley Pathology custom logo design I came up with is the only instance I recall in which I was able to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide right into a business logo design.

Usually I attempt not to be overly literal with a design and to a point, this design approaches the company it represents very literally, yet it does it in a way that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as a description of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancer to the name that helps make it more appealing, more interest grabbing and much more unforgettable.

logo style with a jumping green frog created for a family fun facility in Wethersfield.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really cool project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the norm of the sorts of projects which come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for health care providers, dental professionals, and attorneys but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park that I have ever had the privilege to work on.

Given that the name of the business has the word springz in its name the apparent choice would have been to integrate a couple of springs into the design but Cool Springz is a fun location to go and spring does not really resonate an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this logo design project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, ultimately I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the name itself to provide the logo a better lively high energy feeling.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my brainchild and named the frog Jax and incorporated him in to everything they utilized for marketing. I also think this is the only time that a logo I created was made into a mascot when they had an employee costume fashioned to look exactly like my frog design.

photography logo design including a flock of birds, a mountain, a path, a stream, and a tree - made for Wethersfield traveling digital photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo design project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a pretty niche field of photography and I believe it is a niche sector because travel photographers don’t shoot places or things but rather reveal emotional experiences through the photos they record. The thought behind this logo design was to use negative space to reveal more than what was visible upon initial view, which I think is representative of most good photographers in that they frequently convey whole stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words but I think that some photographs convey a lot more than that because their photos often have an emotional fullness that can’t be revealed with mere words. I attempted to do something the same to this logo by utilizing the positive space in the design to voice one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was communicated through the first impression. I think, in hindsight, that my objective was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Wethersfield logo design but also to reveal the depth to her work and in the way that she views the world through the lens of her camera.

Wethersfield logo layout with a seagull made use of for the letter A. Designed for a cordless retail company.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The bulk of business logo design jobs that I take on I truly relish and the Coastal Wireless assignment was one that I certainly felt good about, but the client didn’t quite share my excitement for it. I felt really good about the concept of using the seagull shape as a stroke in the letter A but the customer, even though he liked the concept, didn’t care for my choice of birds. This man truly loathed seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, fortunately the rest of his family did not share his scorn for this particular variety of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a customer I encourage them to discuss it with friends and family members as well as with individuals that they don’t even know so as to get neutral point of views on the benefit of a design. Fortunately, he talked about it with his family members and they really loved the design and were able to persuade him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to insert every other seabird he could think of … ultimately I was able to talk him out of his choice of a pelican and he proceeded with the original design.

Custom logo designs are a weird creature in the design world because the people that have a tendency to hire an expert to create their logo understand how vital a logo is for their company so they are much more invested in the outcome. Every logo job possesses it’s portion of hurdles, but the biggest challenge is identifying that sweet spot in a design that operates really well at the job it’s required to do in branding a company and also providing the client the image they see for themselves.

a red panda logo layout with bamboo in the background, style for Wethersfield book publisher

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a cramped segment of real estate to work with, nevertheless it is the most crucial part of a printed book due to the fact that it is often the primary thing a person views in the book shop. Concerning a publisher, it’s the opportunity that they will likely ever have to publicize their label and get their logo design in front of the men and women that buy actual books.

This three color design is vivid, colorful and eye-catching and it leaves plenty of area for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design made for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo design has two letter A's with benches changed to imply they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines come and go however it seems that in many occurrences 1 of the things people usually tend to recall the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a smaller new venture commuter/shuttle airline situated in LA and although I’m not certain it actually “took off” their custom logo didn’t ground them. The bookend A’s in their brand lent itself well to affording a feeling of air travel and it was surely a winner.

Wethersfield logo layout used for advertising and also a tag style for Vintage Case features an antiquated font style layout.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in new cases for musical instruments, that appeared to be antique cases. For this logo concept I tried to come up with a logo that possessed a fluid retro feel to it and could be used for every thing from a web site to an insignia on brand new cases that appeared like they were from another point in time.

Logo design developed for an orthodontist in Wethersfield, style include an arc with lines converging through it to imply metal braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental care business logos can be one of the most challenging and difficult logo design jobs because it appears that almost every dental professional integrates a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental logo designs are one of the very most cliche ridden professions when it comes to small business marketing, if restaurants approached their branding in the very same way dental practitioners do every one of their logos would be a picture trying to explain anything they served, McDonalds would likely include an image of a potato and a cow.

I recognize the thinking behind including an image of something mouth related to a dentist’s company logo but it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dentists logo that litter the branding landscape of the dentistry industry.

I really enjoy doing dental business logos simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a specific field of the field of dentistry like orthodontics without resorting to the stereotypical course of action that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics offered such an opportunity and subsequently I created a design that doesn’t have a single smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t overt, they are still implied in the design. When I turned this concept over to the client the only smile that was apparent was really the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo design created for a family members not-for-profit, the logo includes 4 personalities startled in height to stand for a family unit with in the layout.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation reached out to ImageCo to help them come up with a logo that would be representative of the devotion that William McNally had for the families in his city. Many logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain portrayals of a happy family, a cliche heavy approach to any logo design is to be overly literal pertaining to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve discovered that the best designs are the ones that are downplayed and never hit the viewer on the head with what the company or organization wants to convey.

The McNally Foundation’s name presented a unique opportunity to do a custom logo design that communicated that they were about families without being overtly corny about it. The objective of a logo design is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer attempts to use the logo design to explain exactly how individuals should think or feel they don’t understand the purpose of a logo. If viewers have to consider a logo design to understand what it means, it has failed, a logo needs to be instantly comprehended and a logo that describes itself won’t have the likelihood to be comprehended.

Logo design produced for a hair design studio including a manuscript font a hummingbird as well as a suggested orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios needed a business logo which carried a spirit of simplicity and connection for their new hair studio. I created a design that did not go the obvious route of designing merely a stylized orchid but alternatively created a logo that implied an orchid in the pattern of a swirl blended in to the letter O in the name and by placing attention on the concept using the silhouette of a hummingbird hovering over the logo itself. The obvious path in designing a company logo is frequently the wrong course and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but instead laid the attention on the emotion that they really wanted to transmit to their clients.

Dazzo Arabians | Logo Design

Logo layout for a software program programmer the layout functions as well as legendary element of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the central component of an operating system (OS). Traditionally, the kernel is responsible for memory administration, process and task management, and drive operations. The kernel connects the system hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that behaves as a connection between the software program and computer hardware.

The logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a number of miles from the offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to point out anything to anyone about what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However, it represented something to the owner of the company and in quite a few cases the substance behind a company logo is just as important as how it brands the business it stands for.

A logo layout featuring a fisherman in the center of the name casting a fly in the direction of the audience.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With companies like Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in over 7 billion a year retailing goods and equipment to outdoor sporting lovers the owners of On the Fly understood the market place was prepared for an outdoor sporting merchant that operates as a consignment firm. Whether or not you are into boating, sportfishing or mountain climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a destination for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all types of passions, a location to sell their secondhand items to other sports enthusiasts. I created their Wethersfield logo dsign with a graphic which garners the attention of vehicles and sends an image that invokes the passion of the outdoors. With traffic that averages 45 miles per hour I knew it would take more than the average logo/sign to get commuters to take notice, hence the image of a fly fisherman in his natural and peaceful habitat.
Logo design MQ ranches, this logo design has actually an area included right into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms brand design wasn’t really composed for an Wethersfield area farm it was really designed for a products broker, and this particular creative logo was one of multiple that fell beneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The goal was really to make a graphic that projects self-assurance, effectiveness, and affluence.
Logo design created for the use of a sign for the restaurant (Brewgrrs), it is a luxuriant manuscript font that is similar to a famous sporting activities group logo design.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I have crafted dozens of restaurant logos and business signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the USA, from cupcake bakeshops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a cool undertaking where I worked closely with the business owner to produce a business logo that worked extremely well and did a fantastic job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the lighted signage that hung over their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
