Wilton Logo Design

Every new Wilton company realizes that they need a logo, but few entrepreneurs thoroughly understand the essential role their logo will perform in their financial success, or precisely why one logo functions more effectively than another. A logo design has an instant and long-term effect on the success of a business, select the right one and it will make the door swing and cash register ring, select the wrong one and it can be an obstacle and an impediment for the life of a company. The logos included in the ImageCo portfolio help Wilton businesses succeed, they are effective in any given circumstance and the reason they are so effective is because they all have these 5 things in common.
  1. Simplicity: simple logo designs don’t demand consideration, they can be comprehended in merely a glance.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to signboards a scalable logo design will stay legible and just as emotive at any size.
  3. Versatility: logos that work on any device, in print, on product packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball-cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are exclusive, and they are suitable for the company they stand for.
  5. Relevance: a logo needs to be lasting and will feel relevant today, tomorrow, and 20 years from today.

Retro logo layout of a bicycle created for a Wilton coffee cafe as well as a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This start-up coffee roaster and bistro were actually launching in an old section of town and hoped to visualize a vintage atmosphere without coming across as monotonous or low energy. I accomplished both of these tasks by creating a logo concept that incorporates a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, high energy, and is a ageless business image.

medical logo design with a microscope slide and also bacteria developed for Wilton medical center.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the scientific discipline which examines the causes and consequences of diseases, especially the field of medicine that works with the clinical examination of samples of body tissue for diagnostic or forensic purposes.

The Mid-Valley Pathology custom logo design I came up with is the sole instance I recollect where I was in a position to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide into a logo design.

Generally I try not to be excessively literal with a design and to a point, this design approaches the company it represents rather literally, yet it does it in a way that integrates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an illustration of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the name that helps make it more captivating, more interest grabbing and much more meaningful.

logo design with a jumping environment-friendly frog developed for a family members enjoyable center in Wilton.

Cool Springz | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really cool project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the norm of the sorts of jobs which come my way, I’ve produced dozens of logo designs for doctors, dentists, and legal professionals but Cool Springz is without question the one and only trampoline park which I have ever had the privilege to work on.

Given that the name of the company features the word springz in its name the apparent choice would have been to feature a handful of springs into the concept but Cool Springz is a fun destination to go and spring doesn’t actually resonate an environment of fun does it. My thought process on this project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, in the end I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the name itself to give the logo a more enthusiastic high energy feeling.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my concept and named the frog Jax and featured him in to everything they used for promotion and marketing. I also think this is the only time that a logo I designed was made into a mascot when they had an employee costume fashioned to look just like my frog design.

digital photography logo design including a group of birds, a hill, a trail, a stream, and also a tree - created for Wilton traveling digital photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo design project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a pretty specialized field of photography and I think it is a niche speciality due to the fact that travel photographers don’t capture places or things but rather reveal emotional experiences by means of the pictures they record. The thought behind this logo design was to utilize negative space to project more than what was visible upon first view, which I think is representative of most good photographers in that they oftentimes share whole stories through their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey significantly more than that because their photos often have an emotional resonance that can’t be conveyed with mere words. I attempted to do something comparable to this logo by employing the positive space in the design to voice one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was communicated through the first impression. I think, in looking back, that my objective was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Wilton logo but also to show the depth in her art and in the way that she sees the world through the lens of her camera.

Wilton logo design with a seagull made use of for the letter A. Designed for a wireless retail service.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The majority of custom logo design jobs that I take on I genuinely relish and the Coastal Wireless assignment was one that I really felt good about, but the customer didn’t quite share my excitement for it. I felt really good about the concept of using the seagull form as a stroke in the character A however my customer, even though he loved the concept, really did not care for my choice of birds. This guy seriously disliked seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, luckily the rest of his family did not share his scorn for this specific kind of sea bird.

When I turn a design over to a client I encourage all of them to talk about it with friends and colleagues and family members as well as with other people that they don’t even know so as to get objective point of views on the worthiness of a design. Fortunately, he shared it with his family members and they really loved the design and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to insert every other seabird he could think of … eventually I was able to talk him out of his preference of a pelican and he proceeded with the original concept.

Business logos are a strange creature in the design world because the people that are inclined to hire an expert to create their logo design understand how vital a logo design is for their business so they are much more invested in the result. Every logo design project has it’s allotment of challenges, however the biggest obstacle is finding that sweet spot in a design that works really well at the task it’s required to do in branding a company and also giving the customer the image they see for themselves.

a red panda logo layout with bamboo in the background, layout for Wilton publication author

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a cramped parcel of real estate to work with, nevertheless it really is the most necessary part of a published book given that it is usually the very first thing a person sees in the book store. Concerning a publisher, it’s the absolute best opportunity that they will likely ever have to spotlight their brand and get their logo design in front of the people that shop for actual books.

This three color design is vivid, colorful and eye-catching and it leaves plenty of space for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo design created for an airline company in Los Angeles, the logo has two letter A's with benches customized to imply they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines come and depart yet it looks like that in many occurrences 1 of the items consumers tend to recollect the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a smaller new venture commuter/shuttle air service based in LA and while I’m not sure it actually “took off” their logo didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their title lent itself well to conferring a sense of flight and it was surely a success.

Wilton logo style utilized for advertising and marketing as well as a label design for Vintage Case includes an old typeface design.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in new cases for musical instruments, which looked to be much older cases. For this logo concept I sought to come up with a logo that offered a fluid vintage feel to it and could be utilized for everything from a web page to a label on brand new cases that seemed like they were from a different era.

Logo design developed for an orthodontist in Wilton, style consist of an arc with lines converging with it to suggest steel dental braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dental logo designs can easily be one of the most difficult logo design projects due to the fact that it appears that every dental professional integrates a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dentistry logos are one of the most cliche ridden fields when it comes to small business branding, if restaurants approached their branding in the very same way dental practices do every one of their company logos would definitely be a picture explaining something they served, McDonalds would likely include an image of a potato and a cow.

I understand the thinking behind incorporating an image of something mouth associated to a dentist’s company logo but it has to be performed subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dental professionals logo that litter the branding landscape of the dental industry.

I really enjoy doing dentistry logo designs simply because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies the field of dentistry or a certain field of dental treatment like orthodontics without resorting to the stereotypical course of action that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics offered such an opportunity and subsequently I created a concept that does not have a single smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t overt, they are still suggested in the design. When I turned this particular design over to the customer the only smile that was apparent was actually the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo design designed for a family members not-for-profit, the logo features 4 characters startled in height to stand for a family unit with in the style.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation contacted ImageCo to help them come up with a custom logo design that would be illustrative of the devotion that William McNally had for the people in his city. The majority of logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain images of a happy family, a cliche heavy approach to any logo design is to be very literal pertaining to what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve found that the best designs are the ones that are downplayed and don’t hit the viewer on the head with what the business or organization wishes to relate.

The McNally Foundation’s name provided a distinct opportunity to do a custom logo design that communicated that they were about families without being openly corny about it. The intention of a logo is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer makes an effort to use the logo to summarize how individuals ought to think or feel they don’t understand the purpose of a logo. If you have to think about a logo to understand what it means, it has failed, a logo needs to be immediately understood and a logo that explains itself will never have the opportunity to be comprehended.

Logo layout developed for a hair style studio featuring a script font a hummingbird as well as a suggested orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios required a logo which projected a spirit of serenity and class for their new hair studio. I came up with a design which didn’t go the obvious path of designing simply a stylized orchid but alternatively delivered a logo design that implied a flower in the pattern of a swirl featured into the letter O in the title and by placing attention on the logo design using the silhouette of a hummingbird hovering above the logo itself. The obvious path in creating a logo is generally the incorrect direction and in this case, the design ended up not being about the orchid but alternately put the attention on the emotion that they wanted to project to their clients.

Logo layout for a software application programmer the design attributes and iconic component of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the central part of an operating system (OS). Traditionally, the kernel is responsible for memory management, process and task management, and hard drive operations. The kernel unites the computer hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that serves as a bridge in between the software and hardware.

The logo design I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is located a couple of miles from the business offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to describe anything to anyone about what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. However it intimated something to the business owner of the company and in many cases the significance supporting a business logo is just as important as how it serves the company it represents.

A logo design including a fisherman in the middle of the name casting a fly towards the customer.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brands like Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in over 7 billion a year retailing goods and equipment to outdoor sporting lovers the founders of On the Fly recognized the market was primed for an outdoor sporting merchant that functions as a consignment business. Whether or not you are into boating, fishing or mountain climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly provides a place for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all kinds of passions, a place to sell off their pre-owned equipment to other sports enthusiasts. I designed their Wilton business logo dsign along with a graphic which captures the attention of traffic and sends an image that evokes the passion of the outdoors. With visitor traffic that averages forty five mph I knew it would take more than the typical logo/sign to get commuters to take notice, hence the picture of a fly fisherman in his natural and relaxed habitat.
Logo layout MQ farms, this logo layout has an area included into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms emblem idea wasn’t really composed for an Wilton area farm it was actually created for an investments broker, and this particular company logo was one of many that fell underneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The aim was to make a image that projected assurance, financial success, and wealth.
Logo design developed for the use of a sign for the dining establishment (Brewgrrs), it is a luxuriant script font that is reminiscent of a well-known sporting activities group logo.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I have designed quite a lot of restaurant business logos and business signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the United States, from cupcake pastry shops to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a cool undertaking where I worked closely with the proprietor to produce a logo which worked really well and did a great job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the neon sign which hung above their doors, and was highly visible and very legible from over a block away.
