Boynton Beach, Florida Logo Design

Each and every new Boynton Beach business realizes that they require a logo, yet few new business owners fully understand the key role their logo design can perform in their financial success, or the reason that one logo performs better than another. A company logo has an instant and lasting effect on the growth of a company, go with the correct one and it will make the door swing and cash register ring, go with the wrong one and it can be a barrier and an impediment for the life span of a business.

The logos presented in the ImageCo portfolio help Boynton Beach, Florida businesses prosper, they are effective in any given situation and the reason why they are so effective is because they all have these five features in common.

  1. Simplicity: simple logo designs don’t require contemplation, they can be realized in just a glimpse.
  2. Scalability: from business cards to billboards a scalable logo will be legible and just as emotive at virtually any size.
  3. Versatility: logos that function on any type of device, in print, on product packaging, on a mobile phone, or on a ball cap.
  4. Suitability: they are appropriate, they are unique, and they are suitable for the business they represent.
  5. Relevance: a company logo needs to be timeless and should feel relevant today, tomorrow, and thirty years from now.

Logo PORTFOLIO Volume 1

Retro logo design of a bike created for a Boynton Beach, Florida coffee cafe as well as a coffee roaster.

Ferry Street Coffee Company | Logo Design | Retail Branding

This startup coffee roaster and coffeehouse were opening up in an older section of the community and wanted to cast a vintage vibe without coming across as boring or low energy. I achieved both of these jobs by means of creating a sign concept that contains a man on a high wheel bicycle (aka The Penny Farthing), it is old-fashioned, higher energy, and is a timeless business image.

clinical logo design with a microscope slide as well as bacteria made for Boynton Beach, Florida medical facility.

Mid-Valley Pathology | Logo Design

Pathology is the scientific discipline which researches the causes and effects of diseases, especially the branch of healthcare which works with the clinical evaluation of specimens of body tissue for diagnostic or forensic purposes.

The Mid-Valley Pathology custom logo design I came up with is the only instance I call to mind where I was in a position to incorporate a bacteria-laden microscope slide into a logo design.

Typically I attempt not to be extremely literal with a concept and to a degree, this design approaches the company it represents fairly literally, yet it does it in a fashion that incorporates the slide as part of the name so it doesn’t serve so much as an explanation of what Mid-Valley Pathology does so much as acts as an enhancement to the name that helps make it more interesting, more interest grabbing and much more memorable.

logo layout with a jumping environment-friendly frog developed for a family enjoyable facility in Boynton Beach, Florida.

Cool Springs | Logo Design | Retail Branding

The Cool Springz Trampoline Park was a really fun project to work on, most likely because a trampoline park is all about fun. It’s also a project that is way out of the usual of the kinds of projects which come my way, I’ve done dozens of logo designs for surgeons, dental practices, and legal professionals but Cool Springz is without question the only trampoline park that I have ever gotten the opportunity to work on.

Given that the title of the business has the word springz in its name the obvious choice would have been to incorporate a couple springs into the concept but Cool Springz is a fun location to go and spring doesn’t really resonate an atmosphere of fun does it. My thought process on this logo project went from springs (boring) to what jumps around, kangaroos … but kangaroos are cute and this place is cool, ultimately I landed on a green tree frog and a dimensional treatment of the title itself to give the logo a better lively high energy feel.

In the end, Cool Springz ended up loving my design and named the frog Jax and included him in to everything they used for advertising and marketing. I also think this is the only time that a logo I came up with was turned into a mascot when they had an employee costume fabricated to look just like my frog design.

digital photography logo design including a flock of birds, a hill, a path, a stream, as well as a tree - designed for Boynton Beach, Florida travel digital photographer.

Travel Don’t Wander | Logo Design | Website Design

Travel Don’t Wander was a logo design project I took on for a travel photographer, which is a rather specialized field of photography and I believe it is a niche sector because travel photographers tend not to shoot locations or things but instead reveal emotional experiences through the images they record. The thought behind this logo design was to use negative space to project more than what was visible upon initial view, which I think is representative of most good photographers in that they frequently convey entire stories using their photography.

It’s said that a picture is worth a 1000 words but I think that some photographs convey much more than that because their photos frequently have an emotional fullness which can’t be communicated with just words. I tried to do something much the same to this logo design by using the positive space in the design to say one thing and then at the same time using the negative space to expand upon what was communicated through the first impression. I think, in looking back, that my goal was to both brand this photographer with a memorable  Boynton Beach logo design but also to show the depth to her art and in the way that she views the world through the lens of her camera.

Boynton Beach logo layout with a seagull used for the letter A. Designed for a cordless retail business.

Coastal Wireless | Logo Design

The majority of business logo design jobs that I take on I honestly savor and the Coastal Wireless assignment was one that I really felt good about, however the customer didn’t quite share my enthusiasm for it. I felt really good about the concept of using the seagull form as a stroke in the character A however my customer, while he liked the concept, really did not care for my choice of birds. This particular man really hated seagulls, which he referred to as the “rats of the sky”, luckily the rest of his friends and family didn’t share his hatred for this specific breed of sea bird.

When I turn a concept over to a client I encourage them to talk about it with friends and colleagues and family as well as with individuals that they don’t actually know so as to get honest judgements on the benefit of a concept. Fortunately, he discussed it with his family and they really loved the concept and were able to reason with him and get him to sign off on it, but not before he worked me over to incorporate every other seabird he could think of … eventually I was able to talk him out of his choice of a pelican and he proceeded with the original concept.

Business logos are a weird animal in the design world given that the people that are inclined to hire a professional to create their business logo understand how vital a logo design is for their business so they are way more vested in the final result. Every logo job possesses it’s share of challenges, but the most significant challenge is finding that sweet spot in a design that works really well at the job it’s needed to do in branding a business and also giving the client the identity they see for themselves.

a red panda logo style with bamboo in the background, style for Boynton Beach, Florida publication publisher

Red Panda Publishers | Logo Design

The book spine is a cramped parcel of real estate to work with, but it really is the most crucial part of a published book due to the fact that it is in most cases the very first thing a person sees in the bookstore. For a publisher, it’s the absolute best opportunity they will ever get to promote their product and get their logo design in front of the individuals that buy actual books.

This 3 color design is vivid, colorful and eye-catching and it gives plenty of territory for the title and the author’s name.

Air LA logo created for an airline in Los Angeles, the logo has 2 letter A's with the bars modified to suggest they are wings.

Air LA | Logo Design

Airlines come and go nevertheless it seems like that in many instances one of the aspects consumers often tend to recollect the most are their logos. The Air LA logo design was done for a smaller start-up commuter/shuttle airline company based in LA and although I’m not certain it really “took off” their logo design didn’t slow them. The bookend A’s in their name lent itself well to imparting a feeling of flight and it was surely a victory.

Boynton Beach logo design made use of for advertising and marketing as well as a tag style for Vintage Situation includes an old-fashioned typeface style.

Vintage Case | Logo Design

Vintage case specialized in brand-new cases for musical instruments, that seemed to be older cases. For this business logo concept I sought to come up with a logo that had a fluid old-fashioned feel to it and could easily be used for every thing from a web site to an insignia on brand new cases that seemed like they were from a different era.

Logo design created for an orthodontist in Boynton Beach, Florida, layout include an arc with lines converging through it to imply metal braces.

Kujak Orthodontics | Logo Design | Sign Design

Dentistry logos can be one of the most challenging and difficult logo jobs considering that it appears that almost every dental professional integrates a smile, a tooth, a smiling tooth, or a toothy smile in their design. Dental logo designs are one of the most cliche ridden fields when it comes to small business advertising, if restaurants approached their advertising in the same way dental offices do every one of their company logos would be a picture explaining something they served, McDonalds would probably contain an image of a potato and a cow.

I understand the thinking behind including an illustration of something mouth related to a dentist’s logo nevertheless it has to be done subtly or it will just look like every other clipart dental professionals logo that litter the branding landscape of the dentistry profession.

I really enjoy doing dental care logos because it challenges me to come up with a design that implies dentistry or a particular field of dental treatment like orthodontics without resorting to the stereotypical course of action that so many dentists settle on.

Kujak Orthodontics delivered such an opportunity and eventually I created a design that doesn’t have a solitary smile or a tooth in it, but even though they aren’t overt, they are still suggested in the concept. When I turned this concept over to the client the only smile that was obvious was actually the smile on Dr. Kujak’s face.

William McNally logo designed for a family not-for-profit, the logo includes 4 personalities staggered in height to stand for a family unit with in the design.

William McNally | Logo Design | Branding

The William McNally Family Foundation asked ImageCo to help them come up with a custom logo design that would be representative of the love that William McNally had for the residents in his community. The majority of logos with the name “family” in them tend to contain pictures of a happy family, a cliche heavy technique to any logo design is to be far too literal about what the name says or the industry it represents. I’ve found that the best designs are the ones that are downplayed and don’t hit the viewer on the head with what the business or institution wishes to project.

The McNally Foundation’s name provided a unique opportunity to do a logo that communicated that they were about families without being overtly corny about it. The goal of a logo is to be remembered and recognized and if the designer makes an effort to use the logo design to illustrate specifically how individuals ought to think or feel they don’t understand the goal of a logo. If you have to ponder a logo to understand what it means, it has been in vain, a logo needs to be instantly comprehended and a logo design that describes itself will never have the opportunity to be understood.

Logo style developed for a hair design workshop including a script font a hummingbird as well as a suggested orchid for the letter O.

Wild Orchid Studio | Logo Design Project

Wild Orchid Studios needed a company logo which related a sense of calmness and connection for their new hair salon. I came up with a concept which didn’t go the obvious course of designing just a stylized orchid but rather crafted a logo which suggested an orchid in the formation of a swirl integrated in to the letter O in the title and by putting emphasis on the concept along with the silhouette of a hummingbird floating above the image itself. The obvious path in designing a logo design is oftentimes the incorrect course and in this case, the design ended up not being about the flower but alternately placed the importance on the emotion that they really wanted to forecast to their patrons.

Logo layout for a software application designer the layout features and also famous aspect of a bridge to the left of the name.

Smart Kernels | Logo Design

A kernel is the principal part of an operating system (OS). Typically, the kernel is responsible for memory management, process and task management, and hard drive operations. The kernel attaches the computer hardware to the application software. In other words a kernel is {essentially|quite literally a bridge that operates as a connection in between the software and computer hardware.

The business logo I came up with for Smart Kernels was based on an actual bridge that is situated a couple of miles from the offices of Smart kernels. It’s a logo design that doesn’t attempt to identify anything to anyone with regards to what business they are in or how it relates to their specific location. But it represented something to the owner of the company and in many cases the meaning behind a business logo is just as important as how it serves the business it represents.

A logo layout featuring a fisherman in the middle of the name casting a fly towards the audience.

On The Fly | Logo Design | Retail Branding

With brand names such as Cabelas and Bass Pros raking in over 7 billion a year offering goods and equipment to outdoor sporting fans the owners of On the Fly understood the market place was primed for an outdoor sporting retailer that operates as a consignment business. Whether you are into boating, fishing or mountain climbing, or even hunting, On the Fly presents a venue for outdoor sports enthusiasts with all types of passions, a location to sell their pre-owned goods to other sports enthusiasts. I designed their Boynton Beach logo dsign utilizing an illustration which grabs the interest of traffic and sends an image that arouses the enthusiasm of the outdoors. With traffic that averages 45 mph I knew it would take more than the average logo/sign to get commuters to take notice, hence the graphic of a fly fisherman in his natural and peaceful habitat.
Logo layout MQ farms, this logo style has actually a field integrated right into the letter Q.

MQ Farms | Logo Design | Branding

The MQ farms brand concept wasn’t really produced for an Boynton Beach, Florida area farm it was really developed for a products broker, and this particular logo design was one of several which fell beneath the MQ umbrella … MQ commodities was one, MQ trading was another. The end goal was to develop a brand mark that projects self-assurance, effectiveness, and wealth.

Boynton Beach Logo design for a nonprofit, Turning Point Solutions - the logo style feature for outwardly facing arrowhead as well as the arrowheads suggest that it is a diamond shape.

Turning Point Foundation | Logo Design

The Turning Point Foundation was entirely open to what type of logo design that they wanted, that can be a good thing or a bad thing. Good in that it provides a designer the liberty to discover any idea that comes to mind, bad in that it’s hard to hit a bullseye without recognizing where exactly the target is. Thankfully, in this case, I hit a bullseye with the 1st go.

Logo made for using an indicator for the restaurant (Brewgrrs), it is a luxuriant script typeface that is reminiscent of a popular sporting activities team logo.

Brewgrrs Restaurant | Logo Design | Restaurant Branding

I’ve designed quite a lot of restaurant custom logo designs and business signs for restaurants, diners, sports bars, night clubs, dining establishments|eateries} all over the USA, from cupcake bakeries to pizza parlors and oyster bars, out of all of them I think Brewgrrs was my absolute favorite. Brewgrrs was a cool project in which I worked directly with the proprietor to create a logo which worked really well and did a fantastic job to brand them, it worked on everything on everything from coasters, and tap handles all the way to the lighted sign that hung over their doors, and was highly visible and very easy to read from over a block away.
